Opinions de Seapot Daly City
For my birthday a friend and I recently dined at Seapot in DC for Korean hot-pot on a wed early evening, and the experience was impressive. The quality of the food truly stood out; the food was fresh, the broth, I chose *Thai pot* had a rich, deep savory and tangy flavor that was perfectly spiced. Every ingredient tasted high-quality and well prepared. The all you can eat food bar had a very yummy variety of salads, kimchees, egg rolls, sesame balls, fruits and sauces! Beyond the delicious food, the customer service was excellent. The staff were attentive, especially our server! He was friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience as he constantly ck'd to make sure we had everything we needed, I'm embarrassed to say I dont remember his name. It was my first time there and the menu was a step-by-step that was slightly overwhelming and our server was so helpful and patient. All of his recommendations were spot-on. He made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The establishment was clean and well kept from the dining utensils to the restroom. Also we waited less than 5 min to be seated for the 2 of us and our food was served in no time! It's rare to find a place that excels in cuisine hospitality, cleanliness and reasonable prices, but this restaurant managed it perfectly. I will definitely be returning soon to enjoy another wonderful meal. Thank you Seapot staff for a exceptional experience 👏 🙌 👍 🙏 ❤️ 👌
All around delicious and no wait for dinner in the evening on a weekday. I took my picky dad to dinner and he loved it! If youre looking for an all encompassing experience, look no further. They also have a bar and nice table setup like a waiting area for parties waiting for a table. Good place to watch sports as well!
We visited Seapot in Daly City for a lunch with a group of 7 and had an absolutely fantastic time! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and delicious. The Korean hot pot concept here is so much fun. Everyone gets to choose their own broth and create their own perfect meal from the incredible conveyor belt of goodies. The variety is amazing—from fresh meats and seafood to a huge selection of veggies, dumplings, and noodles. The quality of everything, especially the thinly sliced meats, was top-notch. Seapot is the ideal place for a group gathering. It's lively, interactive, and caters to everyone's taste preferences. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit.
The best place to have an Asian cuisine family. My sister had my niece's party there and it was nice. They set up for the bowls of soup, had hot pots for each soup to cook and then cooked meat on the grill at the table. Family style dinner. Keoako had lots of fun with the family you can bring your own cakes in there too and we had a private room too there they have a bar area and they have seating to have your food around other rooms that are private and nice out side in the dining area loud
I have finally made a visit here, I use to frequent the San Mateo Sepot all the time when I am craving for hot pot. This place is a plus, since it’s located in a foggy area and good for local. Upon arrival, they just opened for lunch and luckily I was seated immediately. You can choose hot pot, Korean barbecue or both. Their menu consists different soup bases, regular meats, premium Australian wagyu, drinks, etc. Other things such as vegetables, meatballs, seafood, noodles, side dishes, etc are layed out on the rotating conveyor. The staffs were welcoming, well trained and understanding. There was a bit of wait for the orders, but I did not mind since I am a very patient person and the quality of the meats was above average. Friendly reminder, there is a 90 minute limit eating period, but the staffs are very nice about it and will remind you. I highly recommend this place to all hot pot enthusiasts, to anyone looking for a laid back spot or just happen to be in the area and want to try something new. I definitely will be back.
First time at this place, pretty good quality of meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits. Many different kinds of sauces to choose from at the bar. The house spicy soup base is very spicy so if you don’t love very spicy soup, be careful. We had both hotpot and bbq and both were delicious and the price was very reasonable. There’s 1.5 hour time limit but I guess no people waiting, so they didn’t rush us (we were in a private room-there’s karaoke in the room, too for extra charge, I think but we didn’t use it). All in all, it’s a fun place to eat with family and friends.
My absolute favorite hotpot and kbbq restaurant in the bay! The parking lot is always full, but there's usually a spot or two so it's not too bad. I hosted my baby's 100 day party there this past weekend and the manager, Ravi, was super responsive and helpful with the process. I booked a private room, which was very spacious and feeds 28 people (pot per person) and 8 tables outside. A deposit was collected to secure the room. The room already had a backdrop prepared and enough space for more than 40 people to chill at. The air conditioner wasn't very effective though so the room got pretty hot with all the people and pots running. Some of the waiters were slow for a couple of our tables outside. Edmund covered the private room and a couple of the tables outside the room and he was on top of it. I have eaten at Seapot several times and the service is always friendly. The food quality is great, the sauce bar has plenty of choices along with side dishes and the conveyor belt makes it super convenient to eat while waiting for the meats to arrive. The wait time is shorter when you come during off hours, so unless you have a party of 6+, which is the minimum for a reservation, I suggest you come an hour earlier to have a somewhat shorter wait time. Sometimes you can put your name down on Yelp, but there's a small window for it and it could still be a 123+minute wait. I have been here at 11:30am, 3pm and 5pm before with a waittime of 5-10minutes and I have also been here around noon and 6-7pm and waited over two hours for a seat. Either way, the food is worth and you'll get a text before your table is ready so you can walk around the area. I had enough time to walk to Dave and Busters one time because I didn't want to lose my parking spot. Definitely check Seapot out!
90 minute limit. Hotpot and grilled meat. Some seafood ironically wasn't the best quality. I was surprized to see snails. Sauce bar was nice addition.
Friendly staff. Seated readily. Busy even on a weekday. Was upset that there were no pea shoots that day. Meats were good (#7 and 10). Would pass on chicken next time. Fishballs and meat balls we’re good. Fruit was fresh.
Had a great experience at this restaurant! It was quite busy but once we sat down, service was efficient and we enjoyed a lovely meal with a large variety of choices for hot pot! Their sauce bar is very clean and organized. They have side dishes that you can grab in a bowl and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the side dishes! Paired so well with hot pot, it was a nice touch.
Superb food with exceptional service. Just can't get enough of this place. Will definitely be back for more yummy food.

I visited here on Thurs 1/8 around 6:30 pm. The waiting time is quite long but I got an offer to sit by the window which is apart from the food belt. It might be a prime time, so the staff couldn’t take care of me as thoroughly as expected. I ordered food, but some items I requested didn’t come as ordered, which left me a bit dissatisfied in that aspect. However, overall the food was delicious, with a wide variety of sauce options. The seafood here is excellence. It’s so good for seafood lovers like me. I recommend making a reservation in advance to get a seat by the conveyor belt, as ordering through the staff can take quite some time due to delays.
If you’re willing to spurge a bit, get the waygu upgrade. It’s worth it for $10 more. Love the sauce bar, you can make your own concoction. My kid loves seeing the conveyer belt of sides and trying different items everytime. Sometimes I wish they were labeled but it makes it kind of fun. I guess if you had allergies you should be careful since they’re not labeled on the conveyer belt.
For those seeking an all-you-can-eat hotpot and grill experience, I highly recommend this establishment. They offer a wide array of selections, including various meats, soups, and seafood. Please be advised that it may experience high traffic during weekend hours.

Great place for ACE Hotpot. We, 26 or us, came on a weekend after Christmas and boy was it busy. Food was great, big variety on the sauce station, so you make it how you like it. Great atmosphere. Definitely will return again.
A popular place to eat. You must get there early or get on a wait list. We had a party of three and took about 90 minutes to be seated. Food was pretty good. Lots of meats to try and seafood on the conveyor. You can pay an extra $5 to have the option of the grill. This place is good for a group gathering or family gatherings.
My partner and I were craving hot pot. This place has been on our list for a while and decided to give it a try for date night. Parking is plentiful and free. We thought the wait was going to be long, something to be expected on a Saturday night, but was surprised when we received a text not even a minute after putting our names on the wait list. The table was not going to be on the conveyor line, which we were completely happy with because my partner got a really good view of the giant screen to watch the game. Everything all-around was great - food, service, and atmosphere. Our only critique was that the large beer claimed to be 30+ ounces but the glass it was served in was maybe 20 pinches (I used my water bottle to compare). Other than that, it was a pretty good meal and our server was great.
Waited for about 15 minutes before we were seated. Overall experience is positive, with the conveyor belts got stuck quite a few times. The grill and hotpot all uses electricity instead of gas, and overall it's a good experience. The server was courteous and clear to check on us multiple times throughout the meal. However, no refill offered for soup and water towards the latter part of the meal. Also, 2nd round of beef and lamb was notably not the same quality as the 1st round.
I’ve been to Seapot Daly City many times with friends, family, colleagues. Hotpot, KBBQ, or both. Join the waitlist before you go as you never know if it’s busy or not. The meat selection is pretty decent. They have conveyor belts for their vegs, mushrooms, seafood, noodles, etc. Wide selection of broth and they also have K-BBQ, tho their bbq serving is small. I pretty much binge on their sides more than the meat when I do hotpot. The interior is all black, pretty dark, but has good vibes. Im just there to eat good food and enjoy. The black interior doesnt bother me. Price-wise, I would say affordable. $27-28 per head. Hits the spot every time!
A highly recommended cafeteria! Reasonable price, many varieties, suitable for guests of all kinds of diets. Reservations can only be made for more than six people, but if all the people arrive, the waiting time will be greatly reduced. The restaurant is clean and hygienic, and the staff are enthusiastic and skilled. The self-help time is about one and a half hours. The only drawback is poor ventilation, and the smell of clothes and hair is too strong after eating.
My first time visiting Seapot DC and I enjoyed the occasion. It's always wonderful to be able to sit in front of your party, chat and cook for one another. It's a great way to bond with family and friends. The food they have like the meat are sliced thin enough to be cooked thoroughly at a small amount of time. Beef, pork and chicken are the three meats with shrimp and fish that's already prepared on a row of small boats that are linked to each other end to end. Placed on top of the boats are the selection of food ready to be picked, placed on the table that also has the hot plates built almost directly on the center of each table.Cooking time is pretty quick due to the thin slices of meat they provide. From beef to pork along with shrimps and some fish are ready to be fried and consume. You can also make your own dipping sauce or make some kind of stir fry with the sauce they have at the moment. The place was crowded but the line moved fast enough and we were placed and seated on our table with a slight wait for an open table. I do recommend visiting the place at least once and enjoy the experience with your friends and or family.

It’s fine. No serious complaints, but it’s not competitive in terms of quality given the high number of hot pot places in the area. The good is they have a wide variety of broths, they are vegetarian friendly with many veggie broth options, and their sauce bar is great and has a great set of ingredients. While the conveyor belt seems Convenient the portions of most vegetables are very small and while you can ask your server to bring out items, there’s no menu, nor any indication that they’ll serve you anything other that meat. Service is slow as they are under staffed. No refills on soda is another bummer.
On December 12 around 7:00 PM at Seapot Daly City (Table A4), while I was seated after my meal, a young male waiter told me to leave because I had been there for over two hours, without any prior notice. He claimed this policy was written on the menu; however, if such an important restriction exists, it should be clearly communicated in advance or prominently posted in the restaurant—not hidden in small print and used to force customers out. What was most upsetting was the rude attitude and complete lack of apology. This was the first time I have experienced such treatment, and I have no intention of returning.
Tell me why my waitlist placement was first in line The fifth party in waitlist got seated before me The a party of two came with no waitlist and just asked to be seated and the waiter immediately took menus and bowls and plates and told them to follow him when the lady I had spoken with on the front desk was still saying to let me check if there's an open table? I arrived at 1:42 and waited ten minutes before asking for an update again. The two parties got seated within those ten minutes So my questions is, is the waitlist just a dummy and you guys don't check it or is this just targeting me? I'm not sure at this pint but I would love to get perspective from management
