Opinions de Hawaiian Fresh Seafood Del Mar
Really good Hawaiian poke. There is a line so be aware but the vibe is relaxed and the courtyard relaxes you. Get the medium bowl because they give you a lot.
Went here for dinner after a long day and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place had a relaxed feel and didn’t seem overly fancy, which I liked. I ordered a grilled fish plate with a side of veggies, and everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Portions were fair, not huge but enough to leave satisfied. Service was polite and checked in just enough without hovering. Prices felt reasonable for seafood, especially considering the quality. It’s not the kind of spot that blows you away, but it’s dependable and I’d come back again when craving seafood.
My third time here and the third time there’s been a line, so it’s safe to assume there’s always a line. This place is popular. In terms of parking, there’s plenty of free spaces since this is an industrial area. And there are always a good number of places to sit (indoor and outdoor). Let’s get to the food: Poke Might run out of some options if you get here later. Typically, you have varieties of salmon and ahi to choose from. Ahi shoyu, miso salmon, cilantro salmon, etc. The quality and freshness make this poke some of the best in San Diego. Spam musubi Good! Hard to go wrong with spam musubi. Mac salad Not my favorite, honestly. Poke nachos Been meaning to get these every time we’re here and now that we finally did, I can say that you get a generous helping of fish and wanton chips. A side of rice is a good idea.
Trust me, the bowl (2 poke) is definitely enough. I got the garlic salmon, ahi tuna, and the special. All were good and pretty normal for it's price point. I also enjoyed the calamari. Food is normal, service is really fast which is my main priority when i'm hungry, and atmosphere is very... corporate. Not so inviting but it's clean and has a good amount of seating.
You know its good when its popular despite it being in a little out of way location. Poke and calimari was very fresh and tasty! I would actually rate 4.5 as the only thing missing is that we wished there was options for toppings like other places. But the quality is amazing still. Outer seating was nice as well.
This location of Hawaiian Fresh Seafood is in the middle of a few businesses and hard to find if you don’t know where to look. There’s a few tables inside and even more seating outside on the lawn. We went on a weeknight and it wasn’t that busy. They still had everything on the menu available so we decided to get more than just the poke, which they are known for. Everything we got was extremely fresh and we throughly enjoyed everything we got.
I’ve wanted to try this place for a while. I was surprised to find no line around 3pm on a Monday. The staff were super helpful with my first trip there. I got the two most popular poke options, shoyu ahi and garlic salmon in a medium poke bowl. Both were fresh and delicious. I’m looking forward to trying their spicy tuna next time. They had a few tables inside and then good patio/ yard space to sit. I would recommend this place if you want fresh poke.
Long lunch time line but totally worth the wait around 1pm on Saturday. I didn't know you had option to choose French fries or tater tots for fish and chips. The Tater tots were super crispy. Love love love the ahi belly bomb and I always only get at least 2 different poke by the pound and add my own rice side and Mac salad side. I also get a musubi to go to eat later. The guys here are awesome and the food is always so delicious. ♥️♥️♥️
EXQUISITE This is my first time here, I've seen it on so many top recommends from people in videos and people have mentioned it in person. I've been meaning to come here for a long time. It's in an obscure location among beautiful corporate office buildings in beautiful Sorrento Valley. I finally made it because I was nearby. It's a little awkward to get to from different locations in San Diego. I thought it was absolutely delicious. Every bite not boring. Loved it. I didn't realize that the line is an issue I got here and was first and it was a tad slow but very very good.
Hawaiian Fresh seafood is pretty much a must stop for us anytime we are in San Diego. We’ve been coming here since they were at their old location. This place is a combination of clean space, plenty of seating, and easy to find parking. Staff is generally pretty friendly and helpful, although during lunch/busy hours you do feel rushed. I feel like there’s always a line here but it says a lot about the quality of the food here. I’m always in the mood for Hawaiian style poke in SD, not the commonly found Cali style poke you find a lot in LA. I love that the poke here is fresh and most importantly, mot overly reliant on sauces. The flavors of the fish come through, and blends perfectly with the selections they offer. You really can’t go wrong with any of their poke. It’s worth it! I’m biased towards their tuna, especially the bluefin poke. On this visit we tried the seared Ahi salad. It was delicious. Generous and well Cajun seasoned tuna, generous avocado. The Cajun spices with the sweet dressing is perfect! Come visit and give this place a try. I think they have other locations, but the one here will always be the OG for us anytime we’re in SD
This place has a big juicy burger, along with some really good poke. The fish is fresh and on point. They fly it in from Hawaii. The poke nachos are smackin, dont sleep on the octopus. Plenty of outdoor seating. They have shade and sunny seating. Also a decent selection of sweets and beer on tap and can.
This is hands down the best poke I’ve had in all of California—definitely the best in San Diego! The fish was incredibly fresh and not overloaded with sauce like some other spots. They have so many options to choose from—we tried the shoyu ahi, furikake salmon, and garlic salmon, all of which were amazing. The poke nachos were next level! Great prices, awesome service, and incredible food. This is our new go-to poke spot. Highly recommend!
This place is packet good during lunch hours. 2 lanes, one for Poke and the other is for non-poke. No wonder why, their food is very good and the place inside is very clean. Outdoor seating on an artificial grass, tables and umbrellas. Remote buzzers that alerts when your order is ready during busy hours. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking lots. Plenty of seating. Maybe, a simple app that orders ahead will be better! they will make alot more meals and a faster experience for customers.
The location is a little hidden, but on the particular day I appreciated it being conveniently located across the climbing gym so I came in for a quick snack. I ordered the ahi belly Bao. Size wise it's good value for $5 each. The ahi belly is very large. Although the ahi fish was cooked tender, the delicate meat was seasoned a hint too gingery for my liking. If you don't like ginger, try something else on the menu. Maybe I'll like something else here too, will try before my next climbing sesh. I really want to give this place 5 stars, but for now it will stay as 4 stars.
Came here on a Thursday at 4:30 for an early dinner. This is in Mira Mesa area surrounded by business offices. There was plenty of parking. Upon walking in, you order at the counter. No lines yet at that time but when we left, there was a line. Had the small bowl spicy ahi poke with brown rice. It tasted fresh and spice on the poke was on point. Friends ordered the fish taco, fish & chips, and fish sandwich. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
First time.couldnt understand or hear. No mixs in for an expensive plate i had salad. No sauce. :(. Person just said its enough but I wanted like the seaweed and wasabi and ginger in the side of my plate. Didnt ask if it was for here to go and didnt bother her to explain or help with my confusion when I said first time here. It was just okay. I liked pokeland felt better. Seems over exaggerated. The fish was just okay.
