The food is amazing! Never judge a book by its cover. The father son duo running the front of house is outstanding and the people in the kitchen are incredible. Everything is homemade and you can tell. If you close to the airport, come here. Worth it 100%

Visiting the area for work and there aren't many options to grab food and get back quick. But a coworker from the area mentioned the food was decent so I stopped in. Very pleased that i did. Decent isn't how I'd describe it...it was great. What this little gem might lack in curb appeal, it significantly makes up in with the food and service. The lady at the counter was very friendly and chatted with me about the menu and different options. I opted for the tortilla soup as I often do, and I was definitely not disappointed. It was piping hot and perfect. Nothing extra in the soup like many places make it, just tender chicken chunks, flavorful broth, a few savory stewed tomatoes, large slices if avocados, delicious cheese and the tortilla chips. The lime, cilantro and onions were serve on the side (my preference, although I didn't ask). I was a very happy customer and will be returning when I go back to town next week.

Stopped in on a whim after looking for places to eat on the way back to Houston. I got the dinner combination plate. I was highly satisfied with my food. My husband got the chicken chimichanga and was just as happy with his food. Will definitely come back. Enchilada was bomb!!

Good food, prompt service, delightful decor. Loved this as a comfort meal after a chaotic day at the airport. I got beef fajitas and the beef had an excellent char on it that gave a great crunch. I caved and got a glass of horchata, which was not too sweet. They do have a (small) vegetarian selection including flautas that were great. Would totally come back.

I've been wanting to check out this place every since moving to Austin in late 2020. I finally went today and the food and service were great. The restaurant was clean including the restrooms and the Mexican plate was huge and it filled my huge appetite. My server Elena was awesome and kept my salsa and delicious sweet tea filled.

They've recently remodeled the location, so it looks great inside. The food is always been fabulous I've been coming here for at least a decade now. Anytime I'm heading to the airport I treat my cab driver she's been driving me for at least 9 years... So we always look forward to whenever I need to leave and it's not too late and not too early so we can stop in for a hot breakfast or when I get back will sometimes stop here for dinner. As always the food is fabulous the people that work here are really great and that's why we keep coming back time after time.

Good food! We stopped here after I picked up my daughter at the airport, she was hungry and hungry for Mexican food! Jasmine's delivered! I ordered the taco salad (love that crispy taco shell!) And she had the chimichanga. Both were excellent. Good food, really clean and bright inside, it may not seem like much from the outside-- but isn't that where the best treasures are!!

Amazing!!! Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and the service was outstanding!!! The server gave us recommendations on what was good. We ordered from the "sides" menu at the bottom of the menu so got to sample different items. The jalapeno cheese tamales were out of this world!!! I highly recommend this place if you are in the Austin area!!! ❤❤

We were in desperate search of food after driving from Houston to Austin with no real food in sight. We found this restaurant opened. They were understandably very busy with short staff. But everyone was very nice and welcoming. We ordered food for five of us and it was DELICIOUS 😋. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Very family friendly as well. We needed to be near the airport and glad we came across Jasmines! I felt so happy once we sat down! It kinda felt like home. I skipped the coffee and went straight for a Modelo Michelada. So good! I had a bean and chorizo breakfast taco and a crispy tripas taco! Both were so delicious! I garnished the tripas taco with cilantro, onions and the green salsa! It was cooked to perfection. Sister had the same and mom had the light breakfast plate. We were left satisfied and ready for our trip home!! Thank you to the staff too they were awesome!! Sorry no pics of the tacos!

This hole in the wall right next to the airport is amazing: great drinks and food at an affordable price. I recommend this place for those with an extended layover or delayed flights. We were delayed for two hours and it was so worth the Uber here versus drinking at the airport. Comes with free chips and salsa! We really loved the Tejano remix of American pop songs playing in the background. And of course, the frozen margaritas were strong and not too sweet or tart. $5 on HH (5-7pm) and $6 regularly. I liked their barbacoa plate and carne guisada.

The food was fantastic! My husband and I are visiting from Dallas for the week, and needed some dinner. Gave Jasmine’s Place a try. No regrets at all. My husband was surprised by the beans in his chimichanga, and said he doesn’t like beans, but he liked those. The service was also great. Do NOT pass by this place. Good service, decent prices and authentic Mexican food including their homemade corn tortillas and fresh lemonade. We ordered chicken soup (caldo de pollo) and tortilla soup (similar to caldo tlalpeño).

Very friendly accommodating staff! Small and casual but has plenty of seating to cover the lunch rush. Free chips and salsa. Good food selection. Homemade tamales. (Take home tamales by the dozen or half dozen... call the day before and have them make special ordered by the dozen just for you!) Small bar that seats about 6.

Was amazed at the wide vegetarian selection here, a not hopeful stop, for a quick Texas Mexican meal after my wife's rough flight. Don't judge a book by the cover. This place is a hidden gem. The lengua (tongue) and steak was tender yet had a nice crisp to it. Green and red salsa's were fresh and spicy. The breakfast tacos were also a hit for us. Cactus and eggs? Pretty good. Our server was very helpful in guiding us and welcoming us. Oh and still 5 star rating even though the power has been out all day (people did not care and still came here to eat. They are THAT good. ) 4.7/5

I recently flew to Austin from Minneapolis for business and was starving when my flight landed. I saw Jasmine’s was just a few minutes away and went for lunch. Absolutely outstanding! The building is unassuming from the outside, but it’s very warm and casual inside with friendly service that made me feel like I was at home. A traveler’s oasis with authentic Mexican cuisine that instantly made me feel welcomed to Austin! I ordered some tacos (beef) and they were some of the best I’ve had. My photos don’t do it justice. Don’t sleep on the salsa that comes with the chips. Spicy and packed with flavor. They were nice and brought me extra with my meal. I only wish I had Jasmine’s back here in Minnesota. If I’m ever back in Austin, I know where I’ll be going once my flight lands.

Wowsers…. This place was seriously impressive. My husband and I had just arrived in Austin and we’re starving after an early morning flight from Boston. He said let’s go to a Mexican place. It has great reviews! At first, I saw the outside optics and location of the restaurant and I thought I’m not sure. We arrived right before the lunch hour, began and were seated and served quite promptly. Being from the north east we are not accustomed to outstanding Mexican food. This was outstanding. Eat here with the locals and travelers! Live music Friday evenings. Had the pollo con chipotle. It was a tasty dish with plenty of spicy kick! Sometimes it can get busy and the service might be slower. The food seems to be consistantly flavorful and the portions are generous. I've eaten here many times. It's a favorite spot for dinner after flying home to Austin Bergstrom Airport.

My daughter and I happened to come across this place as it popped up on Google and Yelp. This place is an amazing authentic place. The staff is amazingly gracious. The chips and salsa were the best. The salsa is hot but so addictive. The manager (Pilla) was so nice, customer centered and welcoming. She gave us a green creamy sauce that was to die for but spicy. We ordered vegetarian tacos and rellebo de vegetal.they have beer and alcohol on the premises. A nice bonus ☻. Will come over and over every time I come to town. Kudos to the chef and the staff. Where can you get lunch beer and soda and chips salsa two entrees for under $35 ?

After a long flight, we were hungry, didn't want to go far, and we wanted some place easy, quick, and not fancy. This place was very close to the airport, very easy to get to, had parking right outside, and was very inexpensive. We were happy to be able to sit down and get some very tasty Mexican at very reasonable prices. I really liked the salsa they served with the chips. It was fresh, tasty, and just the right amount of spice.

The atmosphere is not so great but the food and service 5 star. Chips and salsa really good . Had pork tamales moist, flavorful, and fresh. Had mixed fajitas chicken and steak fresh hot and delicious would definitely go back!

No frills Mexican restaurant. I had the Chilaquiles with fajita chicken. It was a little different than what I’m used to, good nevertheless. So far, the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving to Austin.

I've been here quite a few times and have always had a good experience. Just went yesterday and the green chicken enchilada was very tasty. One of the best ones I've had in a while. They also have good sweet tea and chips and salsa. Nothing fancy about the place, just an easy going, hole in the wall Mexican restaurant.

What a nice surprise. No fancy building, Not much atmosphere, but great food, good Margueritas and friendly, prompt service from very polite attentive staff. The lady that served us was a delight, and gave us directions to help us explore Austin on our first visit. We’re coming back and will DEFINITELY return for more great food and Margaritas

After arriving back from being gone for a week, we wanted some good authentic mexican food, found this place two minutes away and glad we stopped. The food and service was exceptional! Don’t let the surroundings of this restaurant turn you away, the inside is very nice and clean, with wonderful, attentive staff. My only complaint is there wasn’t much of an al la carte option or kid menu so our two young kids who wanted something different from the other got regular adult meals which made our ticket a little pricier than average for lunch.

Don't let the outside scare you, the food and service is top notch. We had the combo plate. The enchilada and taco were great. I didn't love the tamale. The margaritas were good and for happy hour you can get a $2.50 bud lite.

We recently stopped by Jasmine's after picking up someone from the airport.  The restaurant is right across the highway from the airport.  It truly is a diamond in the rough, so don’t let the outside of the building fool you!  LOL The staff was very friendly, the service was excellent.  Attentive, but not intrusive.  We started with house margaritas, which were very good.  The gratis chips and salsa were also good, chips crispy, salsa very fresh and not too hot!  We also shared a bowl of the chili con queso dip, which was a simple preparation, and on point!  Delicious! As far as other menu items, we tried the tortilla soup, menudo and chicken chili rellenos.  All dishes were seasoned well, and served hot.  The tortilla soup and chili relleno were especially good. Glad we stopped by.  It’s an easy stop when headed to or from the airport.  We’ll be back!

We were staying at the airport Hilton and wanted to eat someplace easy to get to and good. This was half that, easy to get to but the food was flavorless, I had the chicken enchiladas and the chicken was flavorless, over cooked, dry and tough. My friend had the steak tacos and they too were flavorless and over cooked. The only thing positive was that the service was okay.

So they had specials on the board when I walked in. There was no prices on the board though. I looked at the menu and was thinking about getting some steak but opted for one of the special to save some money. The Chipotle chicken with a water. Well when the bill came the lady did not lay the bill down she just wanted my card. I asked "how much is it" she replied "$19.99" I was shocked. $20 for a piece of yard bird????? It was mediocre too. I was not to worried about the fact that my chicken was meh. Do to the fact ahh it's on special. Thinking it was cheap. Was I mistaken. When she came back I said "ma'am I thought it was on special?" She said it is see should me where it was $16.99 on the menu. The math still didn't add up. I told her " I still didn't add up" she said " you got charro beans that's .75 cents more" so basically I paid full price for something advertised on special. I mean it's not about the money it's about the fact of for $2 dollars more I could have had steak. Kind of shady. Google also needs to change the price to more like $20-$30

The salsa is really good. Guacamole was nothing special.. needs some work. The carne asada was near inedible. I covered it in S&P and some Valentina hot sauce and then it just tasted like terrible steak with S&P and hot sauce. Do not recommend. The rice was very plain. Service was excellent. With some tweaks and higher quality meat, this place could be solid. But it's a no for me.

They serve complimentary houses made salsa and salsa dona (spicy, creamy green sauce) that is exceptionally good! Service is ALWAYS just as friendly as you could ask for. I've tried lots of their menu items and most are excellent. For desert, I highly suggest their fresh churros with ice cream. And their breakfast tacos are always spot on! Edit/Update: They now offer cauliflower tortillas which is an awesome thing to do. I can't say enough good things about this place. Every plate is prepared fresh. Their omelettes are the best I have had! I've edited and updated my review several times. These people have such a good product but they are unapologetic when they screw up or get caught overcharging. Anytime I have ever tried speaking with them about a discrepancy they just okay. I have to stop giving them money.
