Absolutely wonderful! Excellent service, and the food was delicious! This Pacific Catch was in Dublin, and I would highly recommend it...!
Went here for my brother and I's birthdays, and had a good experience. The bartender (Maria) kept us good company for a whole hour while waiting for our party, and made sure my mother was taken care of. She made this specialty drink (image attached) that was delicious. I don't remember the name. It was some variation of a Moscow Mule. Our server (Julia I believe) was very accommodating and made us feel at home. She even took pictures of our party for us. I would most definitely come back to this location.
The food is delicious. Our waitress was super nice Vini M
As a first-time guest, Maria was my food server and recommended a couple of different dishes. I went with the fish and chips ... but instead of the chips, opted for the salad. Fantastic. The fish was nicely done ... not too much breading. And salad was great. But Maria was the standout. Very attentive and respectful, yet she gave me plenty of margin. Highly recommended.
I have been in 2 different Pacific Catch locations but since I’m closer in Dublin, I prefer coming back in this place. From the ambiance, the quality and taste of food that satisfies my cravings, the friendliness of staff, I just want to visit this place more frequently. It was a great experience indeed celebrating my daughter’s High School graduation here with our friends. This place is highly recommended.
Pacific Catch is a great restaurant that gives me a fisherman's wharf vibe. I went there for my birthday, prior to Covid19 and all the restrictions. The fish & chips are awesome! I really enjoyed the Poke as well. The establishment was clean, the staff friendly, and the food prepared fresh. Our waiter was amazing. Despite having other tables to take care, he was always attentive to our needs, and fully explained to us the specials, and popular dishes. I will definitely return soon. Thank you!
I stop by the Dublin Pacific Catch maybe once or twice a week after work. It’s close enough to the office and gives me a chance to let traffic die down before heading home. I always sit at the bar. The service has always been fine. Nothing special, but it does the job. I came in on Wednesday, June 11, around 4:15 or 4:30. There was someone new behind the bar — Marry, I think. I hadn’t seen her before. She was friendly right away, talked with me about the menu, and I asked her how she was liking the job. It felt a little more personal than usual, which I appreciated. She pointed me toward a couple of items I hadn’t tried before, and they were solid. Not life-changing or anything, but good. Something I’d probably order again if I’m grabbing a quick bite with coworkers. At one point, she mentioned the rewards program. I told her I hadn’t signed up. I’ve been coming here for months and no one’s ever brought it up. I asked if it was new and she said it’s been around for a while. Kind of odd no one said anything until now. Apparently there’s a free starter and some points that add up. Good to know, I guess. All in all, decent visit. I’ll be back, and I’ll probably sign up for the rewards next time. Thank you Marry.
The clam chowder was extremely tasty. The fisherman’s catch was a sampling of everything. Very good. We will be back!
The food here is so good and so fresh. The people that work here are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Love coming here.
The food was phenomenal, the service was amazing, and the socially distant seating outdoors granted peace of mind. I ordered the yellowtail chimchurri style (comes with miso-infused butter sautéed Brussel sprouts) and kimchi fried rice with an egg. Also ordered sea bass with brocollini and sweet-potato fries. Delicious!
We have ordered tasting dinner for four (though it was three of us). It’s worth the money completely! Super fresh and delicious ceviches, crab and shrimps cocktails, and pokes. Awesome margarita in a pitcher. Highly recommended to order this tasting plate if you are visiting by three or four.
We live pacific catch for their exclusive menu selection on fish, sushi and cocktails. The desert is amazing
For a seafood place the burgers are great! Unfortunately, the place was clearly understaffed for New Year's eve, service was pretty slow. The Mexican Grill bowl was fresh and filling. The Wagyu burger was fantastic. Ceviche also tasted good but only a few small shrimps were in there, not worth it. Overall, good food at a reasonable price.
The food was great. Very tasty and fresh. I got the salmon with kimchi rice and Brussels sprouts and added double steak to eat. First of all those steak slices are way delicious. The Brussels sprouts were so good as well. But the best part was Brandi the server ( I hope she is able to see this message ) she was kind, professional and very charismatic . Excellent customer service. Thank you Brandi and keep up the good work and happy personality .
Wonderful gem in between the shops. The fish is super fresh, the staff is very polite and make you feel very welcome. The waitress who was helping us did everything possible to accommodate our large group. The Trio Tower I ordered was a delicious mix of fresh seafood from the Fresh Fish bar. Highly recommend to go here if you like fish. BTW, there is also plenty of no fish dishes on the menu.
My recent visit to Pacific Catch in Dublin, California, was nothing short of extraordinary. Their unique blend of vibrant, fresh flavors, casual atmosphere, and top-tier service makes it a noteworthy destination for seafood lovers and foodies alike. Upon entering Pacific Catch, I was met with a breezy, coastal ambiance reminiscent of a seaside getaway. The friendly staff, donned in clean, professional attire, greeted me with warm smiles, instantly making me feel welcome. My dining experience took off with their Chicken Teriyaki Plate, an unassuming name for an entree that is far from ordinary. The chicken, beautifully glazed with a teriyaki sauce, was perfectly grilled—moist and tender on the inside with a slight char on the outside. The sauce had a brilliant balance of sweetness and umami, which highlighted the intrinsic flavors of the chicken rather than masking them. Accompanying the chicken was a generous portion of impeccably cooked white rice, light and fluffy, making it the perfect base to soak up that delicious teriyaki sauce. The thoughtful pairing not only accentuated the main dish but also served as a calming contrast to the robust teriyaki. To pair with the meal, I opted for a glass of rosé. This was a brilliant choice. The wine was crisp and refreshing with hints of strawberry and citrus, which played very well with the savoriness of the chicken teriyaki. It was the kind of pairing that makes you close your eyes to savor the symphony of flavors playing on your palate. Service throughout the meal was attentive without being intrusive. The staff demonstrated a keen sense of timing, understanding when to approach the table and when to give space. Their genuine hospitality amplified the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Pacific Catch has solidified its spot as one of my top recommendations for dining in Dublin, California. Between the restaurant's relaxing atmosphere, the exceptional food, and the professional service, it's a place that promises—and delivers—a truly enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're craving some delectable seafood or looking for a memorable night out, this is a place you don't want to miss.
If you want fresh tasty salmon, Pacific Catch, Dublin is the place to fulfill you craving. I picked up my party from Dublin BART, decided we needed to eat, checked Zagat ratings & 5 minutes away after making online reservations we were in the parking lot ready for an adventure. Smiling & charming Maddie our hostess sat us immediately. Jennifer, our bubbly, attentive & knowlegable waitress guided us thru the menus. Manager Edgar loves his job & shows it. His coming over to check on us was really quite a treat. It was pure salmon indulgence, salmon dip, chowder & a ginger garlic salmon entree. The calamari & dipping sauce, California roll with real crab & Vietnamese steak sandwich also were great. I can compare our meal to SF wharf seafood dining, delicious. Pace yourself & have a mouthwatering desert,ie malasadas, hot bitesize donuts with chocolate dipping sauce. We will definitely be back. Thanks everyone for a wonderful experience
Love this place! Food and drinks are great and fresh, and the service is always great! If you want a fresh meal that won't weigh you down, this is your spot!
I didn't know what I wanted so I went online and saw a dish that apparently was a discontinued item. However they were able to accommodate me by making a custom meal. I wanted the grilled salmon and the poke tuna. They a created the rest which was amazing.... Update 8/30/21 - food was so good the first I had to come back and this place did not disappoint me. Again awesome friendly workers and delicious food.
Updated 3/22/2025: This is my favorite Pacific Catch location. We never had a bad meal here. Service is always excellent. We had calamaris $15.50 each, poke trio samplers $27 each, a clam chowder $17.50, lobster rolls $30 a piece, steak and ribs $36, burger 15.50, fish and chips 3 piece $20, sea bass $34, ahi poke bowl $23, some drinks and desert. Everything tasted great. I love how you can get healthy sides such as salad or corn. Great job everyone! Updated review 3/25/2022: We love Pacific Catch! The food and service is always excellent. Their drinks taste better after a long week on a Friday evening. We had 4x Manhattans $14 each and a mojito $12. For the starters, we had the poke ceviche $23 and guac and chips $10. For our mains, we had 2x lobster rolls $27 each, sea bass salad $16, 2x fish taco plates $16 each, a kid's fish and chips $9. We came here for a birthday and the waitress gave us these little ice cream things with a candle. The staff here are pretty awesome. Well done Pacific Catch. Original review: What a fun place to spend a Friday evening. We all enjoyed our meals. We had the chips and guacamole, spicy tuna roll as appetizers. Our main courses were fish and chips, lobster roll and the three taco combo. We loved the hip vibe and excellent service. Before Covid, we used to come here for our East Bay's friends' birthdays and chat over drinks/food. Usually the group will be bigger because when we say we are meeting at Pacific Catch, more people will show up. But now, because of the pandemic, our friends don't go out as much. No more happy hours because the offices are closed. Well, hopefully, everything will be back to normal soon and more of us will come out to Pacific Catch. Good job everyone at Pacific Catch, you didn't miss a beat.
We love this place in general. But the Dublin location stands out. We are there A LOT. Their staff is great, they remember us and what we order and are always so welcoming. Also the loyalty program is insane, points to cash in towards food all the time! Thank you all, it’s the little things that make us regulars.
Probably my 8th or 9th time there, and the food and service is awesome as usual. I love their fresh seafood! Updating: March 2023. I've probably been here about 20 times and love it. Always the freshest and tastiest. 👍 December 2023: exceptional service from Nicole. She was very attentive to our table and the others. March 2024: We tried the new Thai calamari salad, it was delicious. We also tried the new spicy Salmon poke bowl, which is also extremely tasty.
This is the first time I’ve eaten here. Each time has been a unique choice, fresh fish, and sushi and delightful meal. You can book your table in advance. They understand that this is me and set you in a booth in the back. The server was excellent balance of attention and more importantly, my Arnold Palmer I was never.
It’s a great option for good food, price, atmosphere. The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful. Must order: Korean steak with kimchi rice and the pineapple dessert. Everything fish is great and their lobster roll is solid! It’s light, flavorful, and well prepared. Better than some famous ones around bay area. It’s a restaurant you can bring a friend to discuss business and family to have a great dinner.
We were looking for something new to try, came across this spot on google search.. So we went to this place for the first time to check it out and ordered a couple mix drinks, an appetizer platter that had ribs, fish skewers, coconut shrimp and some fresh avocado with tuna on top. Afterwards got different dinners for each of us 3 (CA lobster roll/ Lobster roll with shrimp/fish, coconut shrimp, chili lime fries and cole slaw/lobster tail, asparagus, Hawaiian bread and mashed potatoes and WOW was the food very fresh and well put together!! Everything we ordered was very delicious with such great flavor, everything we ate had a unique balance to it. It’s definitely a must try if you’re looking for something different. 😍 I regret not taking any photos SORRY!
Second time to eat here and yes the food drinks and atmosphere are very enjoyable. The staff gave incredible service. The first time I came I had steamed clams and miso Black Cod , incredible... Of course I got the steamed clams again, this time with fish and chips. I would join the rewards if I lived closer but I will definitely be going back when I am down that way again.
Our overall experience was great. Service was excellent. Food was delivered quickly and met or exceeded our expectations. However, there is a statement in the lower portion of the menu explaining a 3% surcharge would be added to our bill. This charge covers the cost of business operations and was not to be considered part of our gratuity. I felt insulted. The menu prices were already marginally excessive. Our bill for 5 people was $340 not including tip for rice bowls, appetizers, and drinks. I also don’t understand why the happy hour menu and pricing only applies when we were seated in the bar area.
Great good and excellent service. I asked for sparkling water and got served a whole bottle of fountain sparkling water which tasted great. The grilled eggplant with miso glaze is delicious. The sushi appetizer role was plentiful and good. The main dish was the miso glazed sea bass. I asked for no rice and they gave me the option of double green beans or broccolini. Amazing taste and excellent value.
Update 2025-09-21 We had a great experience today. All dishes served fast, fresh and beautiful. Service was exceptional as well. Chirashi is always my go to. Previous Review Most our items were great, the chirashi was big and delicious. My wife's calamari looked great. The beers were huge. But then ordered a large togo bag of chips and guac we could not eat there because we were out of time, definitely not worth $14. But the overall visit was positive.
Pacific Catch is my go-to spot in Dublin to enjoy an ahi tuna poke bowl in a nice ambiance. I usually sit at the bar, but on my last visit I sat in the dining room. Food is consistently good and the service is always spectacular. Definitely recommend this spot for solo dining, a date or group of friends.
This place has the best fish I’ve ever tasted in my life. I order fish or calamari 80 percent of the time. That how rare if I want to try something else these establishments cuz if they mess up frying fish I’m not interested in anything else. So I’ve had plenty of fish, needless to stay. This experience was amazing guys!!
My wife and I have been coming here for years. We love the food and drinks. We signed up for the rewards and it really pays! They even have a free plate for your birthday. Mai Thai and spicy pacific are our favorite drinks. The steak tacos with potato fries and black beans is my go to. My wife loves the spicy tuna sushi roll. The Thai tea is also really good! We stay here for hours, we always spend over a hundred, we take care of the severs as they take really good care of us. I highly recommend this place.
I recently dined at pacific Catch and had an outstanding experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to ensure we had a great time. The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with each dish perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The cleanliness of the restaurant also stood out—it was spotless, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Overall, Pacific Catch exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great seafood and top-notch service in a clean and welcoming environment.
I can here for happy hour with my friends. Food quality and the prices are all very good! The happy hour menu is actually quite extensive, not like some restaurans only have a few dishes to choose. My fave is the ahi tuna poke with fried wonton strips. The Korean style fries chicken wings is also very tasty. For sure I will be back!
Enjoyed some happy hour food here with friends. The Baja style shrimp taco I had was surprisingly good, with perfectly crispy fried shrimp. Everything came out in a timely manner for a Saturday afternoon. I would return if I was in the area and wanting seafood again.
I went here to dine with friends before the Labor Day holiday. The food was super soigné! If you are a poultry aficionado the Pacific Catch will drop a dime on your appetite. The patio outside was clean & relaxed. The waitress was incredibly friendly and served our meals in the most prudent detail.
The fish and chips were good, perfectly fried, tasted fresh and surprisingly filling for the size. The cabo calamari was also very good and went well with the Island Mule of which I wished there was unlimited refills on! (jk) The fries and sweet potato fries were spot on. The staff was fantastic, greeted us immediately and was seated right away. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great tasting island style seafood that literally tastes like it was just caught fresh from the Pacific!
(Review as of May 2024) Ambience: 5/5 Food quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 You will be looking to spend about $20-30 per person at this restaurant for an entrée. Place is quite filled around the dinner time I came. I ordered the 3 taco combo. This combo comes with fries and sides. They have 3 choices for the taco combo (chicken, steak or fish, I chose 2 fish and 1 steak). As you can see from the photo, the portion size is reasonable. The service was phenomenal, as the waitress continued to check on us and refill our drinks. Great atmosphere for date or family night.
Recommended. Ample space in the restaurant to seat large parties from 20-25 people. Had the ribs, ahi tuna salad, and ceviche. The shrimp ceviche was amazing but ahi tuna was okay as it was thinly sliced as shown in the photo. Service was a bit slow so I would recommend giving yourself some extra time. Plenty of parking as this location is a part of the shopping center. Friendly staff.
- cabo calamari ($14) - westcoast style w/ salmon || large bowl ($19.50) stopped by recently with my friend and wanted something filling but light so i opted for a salmon based bowl which quinoa and a variety of veggies like cauliflowers, cucumbers 🥒 , and mixed greens 🥬 - the flavor was light with the salmon but intermixed with the seasoned quinoa then it was the perfect combo 👌🏼and choosing the calamari as an appetizer was also the perfect amount for my friend and i! so id recommend trying these two dishes when stopping by!! 🤝🏼 in terms of service id say that the staff were nice and friendly- one of them was actually training but it seems that even then they were still professional and doing well! something i really appreciate about my visit was having the flexibility to scan the QR code on the receipt to pay on our phones so we can dip without waiting for anyone id say that the ambiance is casual yet classy - perfect for 1:1s, family and friends dinner, and maybe even a first date!! tips: lots of parking available relatively quick seating even during busy hours outdoor and indoor seating available lots of fun dessert options in the plaza/area
My fav is the Salmon Chowder and the Lobster Roll (although the bread was hard as a rock and not at all fully cut in half to place the lettuce and lobster inside) - but the service was great! Two servers even offered to take a pic of me and my brother! That’s great service in my opinion! Would definitely recommend A+ [tip: ask for a re-do if bread is not Al dente)
I’m in the area for work and decided to try Pacific Catch based on reviews I found on Google. I dined there on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not overly busy, but steady. The gentleman that greeted me at the door was very kind and welcoming (I assume he was a manager). He took me to a table where I sat down and waited for a long time until my server came up to greet me. He took my drink and food order and both were delivered to my table fairly quickly. I ordered an ahi tuna poke bowl, which was delicious. My frustration is that my server didn’t come back to the table to offer a refill on my drink and dropped off my check before asking if I needed anything else. I understand situations like this when the restaurant is packed to the gills with patrons but that was not the case. I travel so extensively for work that the quality and taste of the food is but one area I look at when eating out. If the service is subpar, it can ruin an evening. Perhaps it was an off night but subpar service was my experience at this restaurant.
Sushi was ok but everything else was good. Update 11/10/20 Been here a few times during covid after outdoor dinning opening up and this place has a great outdoor set up, its spacious and can hold a lot of people. The bowls here are a must try, they are really good and the big ones are big! So if you are having some appetizers and drinks along with it, go for a small bowl. Apart from that they do have a good bar and drinks selection. I would also recommend the fish tacos apart from that, really good.
It's decent, although a bit overpriced. Ordered Cajun Shrimp tacos and Cod tacos....more shredded lettuce than meat, not very flavorful, and pretty dry without some sort of salsa. Definitely not worth $25 for three tacos and about 2 tbsp of black beans. The esquites (Mexican corn) was pretty good (and going in my shrimp tacos next time). Definitely seamed like there was a very limited variety of seafood for a place named "Pacific Catch". Service was average and the place is clean.
We had an early dinner and it began to fill up as we were finishing. Interesting and different dishes that were worth trying! Everything was beautifully plated and tasty! We were in-between servers change of shift so longer waits for service, especially after the food was served, but both were very friendly and polite. The dining area seems kind of small (keep in mind for a large party) but there's a nice big bar. I would be happy to go back and try more dishes!!
Was ok, wouldn't rush to go back. We were out this way to stop at the outlet mall and wanted to try some fish afterwards. The restaurant is ok. They were understaffed and slow but the server was nice. The food was ok, nothing special. We also ordered an appetizer of ceviche and the flavor needed improvement. As for the entrees the first tacos were a lot larger than I expected and I would have ordered 2 instead of 3. The kimchee fried rice side dish was ok but I've had better. The bathroom was very dirty. We were there towards the end of the night but it was kinda nasty.
The food was good, but for nearly $30 a plate, it didn't wreck me for the food at other places. I'm a big fan of Margaritas, so when I see that a restaurant has a unique sounding one, like the Agave Margarita here, I will almost always try it out, but it was just ok. Our server was the start of the evening, but I forget her name.
Gotta remember you have to pay the employee health insurance surcharge in addition to your own when you come here. You can choose to reduce tip % based off the surcharge so it's fair. One would think that the higher menu pricing would allow the business to cover their own employees health insurance.
Very inconsistent. Three months ago this place was delicious and packed. This time it was nearly empty and none of the food was good. The calamari was undercooked, the fried fish wasn't crisp, and the poki wasn't fresh with the avocado already partially oxidized/brown. It took awhile for the food to come out too despite being nearly empty. The drinks weren't great....what happened to this place to change to this extent in 3 months? For $130 for two people, I hope for a bit more consistency. The staff is very friendly and I hope they bounce back. This place is top tier when they do it right.
I visited on a quiet week night. Sat at bar and felt like bartender was more concerned with her sidework than her guests. I ordered one of the specials, and she looked at me weird, telling me she didn't know what i was ordering. She started to argue with me, then ran outside to look at the A frame I was talking about. The only problem was she looked at the one right outside. Not the one on the street I saw walking in. So I gave in, ordering something she recognized. I still loved the lobster tail i ordered. Would have been nice to have the lobster mash with them, but apparently, I read "lobster Louie," the tender tells me. So now I can't read too? I don't even drink. How insulting she was. I ate and got out of there. The vibe she created really sucked for someone at a bar. Thank goodness I had something to read. Smile a little, will you? Leave your bad attitude at home. Us customers are paying money and don't need that. Maybe I'll order out if I want food from here again. On a positive note, the food i did get tasted fantastic. The chili broccolini was so good and the food was nice and hot this time. My last visit it wasn't so hot. Like it waited in a window too long.
I ordered Chirashi and hand roll. Unfortunately, it was poorly made. The chef didn't know how to make these two dishes. The Chirashi lacked the delicacy as seen in other Japanese restaurant. The seaweed of the hand roll was moist and not crispy at all.
We’re been a long time patron of Pacific Catch in Dublin since day one. Never had any bad experience, but tonight, we feel that we need to bring this to light. In the several years that we come with our daughter (now 7y/o); we would order the chicken strips from the kids’ menu. It was always a nice size but tonight we brought it the attention of our serve that it was incredible small in comparison to last month’s visit. Taste is still delicious but the cut back is very noticeable. Take a look!
Store employee was rude, she should have told her employees that take out orders will take time due to a recent system outage. lady was ranting very incompetent. employees needs more training.
I often would bring my 88/89 year old parents out on a weekend for lunch and we would often go to Pacific Catch in Dublin. Today (11/8) was the worst experience we have. I walked ahead of my parents while my son help them cross the street from the parking lot so I can secure a table. As I walked in the hostess a young blonde girl showed me to a booth with a step up table. I told her Sorry no because I have elderly parents who has a hard time moving and stepping up and down is a difficulty. I asked politely for another table. She gave me a look of annoyance and completely made me feel uncomfortable. Like it was such an inconvenience to ask for a different booth because I have elderly people in my care. It made me feel ashamed for coming in and made me feel small that I had to apologize to her for requesting a different table given my parents situation. When we sat down the server Jose H came and got our order. My parents asked for Korean BBQ, my son had a Serrano Ahi Poke and I ordered the Macadamia Crust Seabass with a side of mexican street corn and mashed potato. When the food came, they gave me the wrong order and gave me a soy ginger seabass. The person who brought our food was a different server and I told him that it was wrong and he promptly asked Jose to come. Instead of apologizing, Jose H pointed out and insisted that I ordered the soy ginger seabass. I told him firmly I ordered the macadamia crust seabass. He then said we don't make those anymore they are expired and showed me the Luau Menu. I said no its in the bigger menu and i asked him to get the menu. I showed him what i ordered and again instead of apologizing, he said "Well you ordered wrong. You should have ordered the fish first and then the flavor (macadamia) and then the side dish. You did not order properly". IMAGINE being treated like that. I finally said what do you mean? I clearly said macadamia seabass with a side of mexican street corn and mash potato. At this point the AM manager and the hostess (blonde girl with bangs) instead of interceding saddled up on the side of the table and was clearly watching the drama unfold. I never thought that in this day and age with the prices of the food you pay for, service is abhorrent . I felt singled out, disrespected and totally shamed for being a customer of the Pacific Catch Dublin location.
If you have a shrimp allergy STAY AWAY. They use the same oil and surfaces for everything and they don’t seem to care about having business form people with allergies. Real authentic sushi places never have this problem with me. I couldn’t order fish and chips because the oil for the fries and fish is used for shrimp like why would a restaurant even do that. I had to settle for a spicy tuna roll only to be told they use the same surfaces and knives for everything.
