My go-to spot in East Hampton. The manager, Goran, proves there is more to a good resturant than the food. High quality service + excellent food = extremely satisfied customer.

Serafina is our “go to” restaurant in the Hamptons. Food is always consistently delicious and the atmosphere is casual. Great place to meet friends for dinner and drinks. The outside seating areas are a plus. Definitely recommend the focaccia, pizza and pastas. Service is friendly and professional. Never an issue with seating, especially if you have a reservation and arrive on time. If you get there late, they will do the best to accommodate but being the Hamptons, sometimes that’s difficult. Most places won’t let tables sit empty for too long. Too high a demand. We have never had a bad experience at Serafina. Try it out!

Serafina is my favorite place in the Hamptons. Food and service is first class. Staff is very friendly and always so welcoming to all the customers. My favorite dishes is the tartufo nero pizza and the homemade gnocchi. I love this place also for a late night hangout by the bar. The vibe in this restaurant is always very alive, unlike the other restaurants in East Hampton. Goran, the owner is an amazing human being and very professional at what he does. Dining at Serafina East Hampton is always a pleasure. The beef carpaccio is a standout, and the penne all’arrabbiata delivers a satisfying kick. The gnocchi di mamma is a comforting choice, and pairing the tiramisu with an affogato is a perfect ending.

I think when people, myself somewhat included, go to East Hampton to dine they expect to be greeted by somewhat snobby hostesses who look behind your shoulder to see if Gwyneth has rolled in. Food that costs a fortune that would only fill up aforementioned Paltrow and overall not a great dining experience. However, Serafina in East Hampton could not be further from this stereotype. Warmly run by Goran the owner who is a jovial, much-loved European who makes everyone feel warm and welcome the second they step through the door. A joyful bartender and a warming fireplace to take away your chill round out the general vibe here. But it’s not just the great staff that sets Serafina apart, it’s also the food and my fellow diners and myself always go to seriously eat. We began with spritzes which seem like such an easy cocktail to make, yet I cannot tell you how many we’ve had recently which require our own adjustment. A splash more prosecco, or another orange slice to muddle, yet not here. Perfectly balanced with just enough sweet bubbles to awaken the palate and cool citrus to enliven the senses. Next, we shared the romaine salad. Unlike at other restaurants where the salads are baby bunny portions, here they could be called “family share style.” Heaping piles of fresh greens and sweet bites of succulent corn were had by all, a table of four. I also couldn’t help but notice that all the diners around us were also joining in the large salad mix. The caesar also looked particularly good and we all made a mental note to try it the next time. After this, we shared the margherita pizza which we’d all heard good things about. Keeping in mind my table was outfitted with New Yorkers we are by no easy means an easy group to please when it comes to za. Yet, here we found ourselves oohing and awing over the crisp, perfectly baked thin crust that could have been straight out of Napoli. They have a wood oven here and without sounding trite it delivered like dominos. We followed this with a shared gnocchi, yet another dish which is hard to please in our books. Normally it is served here with a tomato sauce, but we felt like trying the porcini mushroom cream sauce and it must be said it was perfect to carry the delicate pillows of softness which melted in our mouths. Each of us declared it was indeed, “the best gnocchi we’d ever had” clearly homemade and so soft it hardly required a chew. Another diner had the lobster ravioli which was also delicious. Not too much dough and served in a lobster bisque sauce that had just the right amount of hum. It too was dubbed, “the best she’d ever had.” Our other guest had the tried-and-true spaghetti and meatballs which arrived in a mountain of triumph and smiles from the diner. Heaping thin pieces of spaghetti held huge nonna-made looking meatballs that were so large our diner delightedly got to take part home for lunch the next day. To finish our meal we had the rarely found profiteroles. Crunchy yet sweet pastry held cooling balls of pistachio and vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce to drizzle that left us all in a happy food coma. Truly, not enough good things can be said about Serafina. The food is simply the best Italian in the Hamptons, perhaps New York state and the price point is completely reasonable for seriously generous food portions that are artfully made with care by Goran and his well-trained team. If ever you find yourself in East Hampton I highly suggest you dip in for what can only be described as a joyful experience for your spirit and happy belly alike.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a place. I’ve been knowing that name for years, from other places in the world. This time I wanted to visit to East Hamptons location. It didn’t failed me !!!! The truffle pizza KILLED ME. The place is very clean, due to covid 19 it’s still very much up to standards , only classy people are around, the stuff is great and the bartender is wonderful. Most importantly is that Goran the manager was amazing and replied all of our concerns and questions. Definitely one of my FAVORITE place to eat.

Serafina! We normally have the truffle pizza- thin crust, gooey cheese and truffles, it's amazing. Last night we had the Puerto Cervo salad with Romaine, Carrots, Hearts of Palm, Corn, Avocado and a light dressing- we added some Shrimp and loved it! Spaghetti and Clams- we ate every last bite. Taking advantage of a nightly special of Squid Ink pasta with Langoustines and Scallops did not dissapoint either. Glad we added more than pizza to our Serafina favorites! Service was quick and everything was spaced complying with new Covid Regulations. Weird Times, Great Food! Thanks Serafina!

Three words for you, consistency, delicious, don’t have to sell a kidney to eat here affordable and more delectable than other Italian restaurants out East. Last night we found ourselves once again at Serafina an establishment we so enjoy we drive all the way from Southampton just for a quick meal. The reason being Goran and his staff simply run one of the best eateries out here that never disappoints. We have a running joke in our family that the second time we dine it’s always terrible, never close to our first positive experience at a place. However, not here, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. There is something about the pizza as a long-time New Yorker, former food blogger and all-round pizza aficionado I can wholeheartedly say the pizza in the Hamptons sucks. It simply does, poor quality ingredients, crusts that are either so soggy you could use them as a sponge or so hard they could double as a weapon. At Serafina’s, they have a traditional pizza oven with quality, fresh ingredients that melt in your mouth. Not to sound cliché, but you can truly taste the difference. To-go orders are always pouring out for the pizza and I thank my lucky stars they aren’t closer or undoubtedly none of my pants would fit. The Aperol spritz’s are perfectly refreshing and balanced no matter who the bartender is. And my personal favorite that I actually dream about like a fat kid in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is their homemade gnocchi. Lusciously light small bites that dissolve onto your tongue with barely a chew. I always order mine with a mushroom cream sauce instead of the traditional marinara. And have watched friends who hate shrooms of all kinds eat half my plate as it’s irritably mouthwatering. Don’t be dissuaded by the name either if you’re like me, a snobbish Manhattanite who thinks, “oh I’ve been to a million Serafina’s in the city before.” This Serafina is unlike any other, a true gem of Italian hospitality and cuisine that delivers not like dominos but just like your Nonna would. I want to complement the wait staff last night. The guy who took our order disappeared for some reason, I don't know why, but the other waiters took over and looked after us. The food was delicious. Great menu, especially good selection for vegetarians which is hard to find around the Hamptons. Prices are not outrageous here compared to other similar restaurants in the area. All in all, a great experience.

I honestly dont know what the bad reviews are about, looks like one group decided to get together and blast the restaurant… Have had nothing but amazing food and experience. Always consistent. They have a nice indoor seating area especially for when it’s chilly, but nothing beats that outdoor patio on a summer night. East Hampton staple. Great place to stop by for a drink also. Definitely recommend the carpaccio 🤤 The owner Goran is very friendly and always seen working with his staff, highly recommend this place.

Took my parents for dinner here last night and were simply blown away. For one thing the staff is so warm and welcoming, the ambience top notch and is just a beautiful restaurant in general. As a former food blogger can also attest to the delicious food. We had the artichoke salad which was so refreshing and dressed perfectly, the gnocchi which was melt in the mouth homemade Italian joy and the spaghetti and meatballs which felt like our Nonna made visiting from Italy. Couldn't recommend more and the spritzes and chocolate soufflé for dessert were just an added wonderful bonus. Great space and must try, there's seriously something for everyone too on the menu.

Strafing is always a good place to go for a casual family dinner. The food and service is always consistent.

Almost every summer or fall we are on the east end we visit Serafina. The food is enjoyable and portions are quite fair. The prices are in line with what you would expect for the area. Staff is attentive and with a reservation we have never had to wait more than a few minutes.

We had a family dinner here in April. The manager held our reservation and seated our large party in the perfect spot! The friendly professional service was fantastic! I wish they had more vegan options. The only option listed is a spaghetti squash platter that could definitely use more flavor. Everyone else enjoyed the salads, pizza, pasta, and wine selections. Fun festive atmosphere that is perfect for a big gathering.

Serafina gets better and better. We went again last night. Our waiter, Scott was pleasant, funny, and very attentive. Couldn't ask for better service. The Stripped Bass was absolute perfection, with asparagus, roasted baby potatoes and all beautifully presented with the most delicious, almost clear tomato essence sauce. No kidding it was top shelf and should be put on the regular menu. Highly recommend Serafina and this special if it's available.

Food was good, but not good enough to make up for the poor service. The only staff at this restaurant that wasn’t rude was the bartender. Our waiter was very short with us, never refilled water, never checked to see if I wanted to order another drink, never offered pepper (none on table and we noticed other tables asking for pepper and not getting it also), and waiter disappeared leaving us waiting over 30 mins after finishing meal to pay the check. The tables on each side of us seemed to be getting similar service as well. One table ordered same squid ink pasta that we did and when theirs arrived it was not squid ink pasta. They said they were out currently and would be an hour before could make more so just subbed their pasta without asking. They did ask us and give us option to substitute or change which we did. We also heard from other table that they were charged same price for substituted pasta as the squid ink pasta and waiter was rude when they inquired why, and said it’s all handmade so all same price..

The food is OK. Some what bland and very limited for anyone vegan. Busy and pretty loud but a good environment.

Absolutely horrible service. The NY and Miami location are incredible but this location was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Food was Ok. Service is what warranted a 2 star. From management to server to bussers, just awful. We had 8 people and the food was brought out at random times. Halfway through my pasta they offered me Parmesan chz, the pizzas came out 25 minutes before the pizzas. About a half hour after we placed the order the server came back to confirm our salad orders. Easily one of the worst dinner experiences ever.

We were greeted by an awesome host. We were sat down and after 20 mins of no waiter the host took our order and gave us some whine. I got up like a pre I student to ask for bread beacuse the waiters around us wouldn’t even make any eye contact with me as if I was an ex. Still Unbenounced to who our waiter was we kept asking the host, or the busser or whoever dared make eye contact with us, asked for extra pepper or anything else we needed. I raised my hand twice to ask who our waiter was, I felt rude if I kept asking the host, but the host said it busy night which would I would have believed if we didn’t have a bunch of empty tables to the right side of us. Anyways after getting our first course the busser brought our second course, who then we asked for some cheese, who then was brought by a random waiter, and then I asked that waiter for fries who then the waiter asked our host to place the order because the host was our apparent waiter. We did have some random waiter on occasion ask if we had needed anything only after we had already asked someone else for something …anyways very odd very poor service but overall descent food. We wouldn’t come here again though. We ordered our dessert to go which looked like the remains of what was once a beautiful Italian pastry…completely terrible

Serafina I’m just shocked by how we were treated, my wife and I. We were ignored for 40 minutes and when leaving no one tried to apologize or explain, I guess things change.

Goran Jokic the owner of this so called undistinguished of an establishment should be thrown into an anger management class before he steps foot back into the food / service industry. My friends and I made reservations for a party of 10 this weekend, confirmed via texts, phone calls, we were running a few minutes late, and even called ahead of time to tell the restaurant we would be there around 9 o’clock for dinner not 845. When we showed up we tried explaining that we were on our way and confirmed our reservations with the manager, they gave our table away, made us wait but was approached by this has-been Goran who thought yelling, screaming, cursing and slamming his hands on his table was the best way to handle the situation. Clearly Goran doesn’t like to make money for himself or his employees who apologized for him and asked us multiple times to stay and eat. We said no thank you and took our business somewhere else. If YOU want awesome food and service PLEASE GO to 75 MAIN in the Southampton area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking the 30 minute drive then dealing with GORAN JOKIC, his last name sounds like JOKE because that’s exactly what he is. A second rate clown at his best !

Goran Jokic, the owner of Serafina Easthampton, is the most rude, aggressive, most horrible person. My friends and I made reservations to Serafina over the weekend, we confirmed our reservations & told them we would be running a few minutes behind. They gave our table to another party 3 mins before we arrived, then was told that there would be a table ready in 5 mins. After waiting 25 minutes for another table, we ended up speaking to Goran (politely) trying to show him that we did confirm our appointment and showing him the proof on our phone and then he started raising his voice, slamming his hands on the table, and cursed us out. I was in such shock ! My friend then said is this how your treat your customers, he said yes and kicked us out ! I am still in shock !

The owner, Goran,yelled at my friends and I when we showed up for the reservation that we confirmed 3 times and put our credit card down for. Kicked us out of the restaurant and screamed in our faces when we just tried to show the proof of how we did in fact confirm but still had us waiting for over 20 min. The staff then came out twice to “apologize” and whispered to us to come inside anyway. They tried to convince us that we’re not going to find another place so to just “come sit down.” Don’t waste your time at this location

Ownership/management is incredibly unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. No amount of mediocre food or “trendy” ambiance could change my mind. If you have to interact with Goran I truly feel sorry for you.

STAY AWAY THE OWNER IS A DISGRACE!!! We made a reservation for ten people, which was confirmed three times. We were 3 minutes late and the manager told us he gave away our table but to sit tight because a new one would be ready in about 5 minutes. As we waited patiently, the owner Goran approached the host stand and went off on an unwarranted rant. He proceeded to yell at us (his potential guests) and aggressively slam his hands against the table. Instead of recognizing it was his mistake when the texts and phone calls prove the reservation was confirmed on several instances, he cursed out two women from our party of ten and said, "GET OUT **** OF MY RESTAURANT, YOU"RE NOT EATING HERE". We were chased by the manager and blonde hostess several times and begged to come back in. Needless to say, we did not eat there after being verbally harassed by Goran. Avoid this place at all costs!

The level of disrespect and mental instability from the owner, goran is his name I believe, is incomprehensible and extremely disturbing. His google replies to customers who have had a bad experience and have left bad reviews is proof in itself to the kind of craziness we are dealing with here. Please do yourselves a favor and boycott this establishment until the owner is replaced, unless you want to roll the dices and risk catching goran here on a bad day (highly likely). He’s single handedly tarnishing Sarafina’s reputation.

If I could give zero stars I would. 1 star is too much for this place. Absolutely disrespectful, nasty and with total attitude! ERROL, our waiter was extremely nasty and dismissive. We wanted to order bottles of wine and he never came back. He got extremely annoyed if you asked questions about the menu. The manager could completely careless and let you know it. They automatically add the tip which now I know why. We said we didn't want to pay a tip and they said we had to. The place was empty. Thursday night in August in the Hamptons, that says it all. STAY AWAY! The aggravation and anger you leave with is totally not worth it!!

I'm a waitress myself and I know when someone is giving me poor service or good service but this was the WORST service ever. When I ordered I doble check with the waitress to see if she got it right and she was kind of off, and try to avoid me. Then the table next to us arrived later than us and they were 4 and got the food first than Us. My boyfriend asked for bread to the server she never brought it. Then when my plate came it was not what I ordered.The waitress try to avoid Us and to do not talked to Us in plenty of times. We went to eat, have drinks and have a good time. The least I expected it's good communication from the server, I know things happens but trying to avoid your table it's not ok.

Read the other one star reviews here and see how the owner account responds to them and you’ll get a true picture of this place. The food is okay. The treatment we got was not good. Whenever we just asked if they had something and it turned out they didn’t, something simple like decaf espresso or if we can split the bill, we would get a response that “no restaurant in the Hamptons has it”. Why not just say “no sorry” why be snarky? We were just in the middle of table talk when the bill was brought over and instead of quietly leaving it on the table they stormed off and made a big show of how we weren’t paying attention. Unnecessary rudeness.

An employee asked us to wait outside for a new table, which we did. When some of the girls tried to speak and show the confirmation of our tardiness, the owner became aggressive, rude, and nasty. He began yelling, slamming the table, and cursing (in front of tables full of other customers) and kicked our group out of the restaurant. The owner should be embarrassed to treat customers like that! What a terrible business, don't waste your time going here.

A few hours before the reservation the owner of the restaurant messaged me in the most passive aggressive way, asking me to confirm my reservation immediately (even though I already confirmed that morning). I called them shortly after to confirm my reservation again. I was running a few minutes late and texted the restaurant to give them a heads up, but was still within the 15 minutes grace period. Once I got to the restaurant the owner, Goran, was EXTREMELY rude. When I was explaining that I confirmed my reservation he literally said “you need to let me speak first” and claimed that I never confirmed my spot. After cursing us out, he slammed the table and told me I’m not welcome there. The other employees had to come and apologize on his behalf by saying that he’s “going through a rough time”. Needless to say, we left and found another place to eat.

Making it past the host/hostess into the table was surprisingly a challenge, thanks to Goran’s ‘calm and rational’ temper. His absurd treatment of customers deserves its own column on the local press. Absolutely despicable and reprehensible behavior. The only thing I’d recommend is to cancel your reservation and save your appetite for a worthy establishment.

I expected more. My husband and I came here for our anniversary tonight and I feel like I’m at Olive Garden. The espresso martini is quite possibly the worst I’ve ever had. The bruschetta as stale and tasted like I could have made it at home, the pasta was mediocre at best.
