FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!! Our group of 4 had visited a couple of venues on a Saturday night and they were all over capacity! Came upon the Tipsy Barrel and they said they had a DJ, so off we went! The owner greeted us at the door and gave us some background on the place, and seeing we were a 'little' older than the rest of the crowd even said he could have the DJ turn the volume down a notch. lol! Friends ordered burgers, which were really good. I stole some of their fries which were cooked well and tasted good. LOVE the neon about the place (big fan of neon) Would def come back, but would sit furthest from the speakers lol!

Great place... The ambiance has this cool vibe that it pulls u in & makes u stay. The staff is very inviting & cordial. The food is awesomeness 👌

They were FULL of flavor and the pieces were pretty big - probably the best wings we’ve ever had. The drinks were strong enough and the staff is very friendly. Def a plus for a date night!

As a person who drinks non alcoholic drink options I was not pleased with the selection at the Tipsy Barrel. I didn't have the food, if I do eat here I would consider updating my review. It's possible I'll be a somewhat regular attendee here since my friend has been hired to host karaoke here on Saturday nights, go to Brian's Karaoke on Saturday nights if you're reading this. The bartender was nice, the people in the bar were pretty friendly, it is a nice little hang out spot. I saddled up to the bar and asked if they had any non alcoholic beers, they did not. They had no orange juice, they had no cranberry juice so there went my standards of cranberry juice and seltzer, or orange juice and seltzer. Eventually I asked for red bull, no energy drinks either. I had a diet coke and later on a Shirley temple with no cherries :( So I like it here but for those of us that abstain from alcohol for whatever reason, can we have more drink choices please!

Felicia was amazing! Was the only server and handled things excellently! The problem was it needs to be better managed and support for Felicia… the food was slow to come out and there was confusion.

Felicia was great. However I ordered the beef tacos that were supposed to be 3 and only got 1. Confusion in the kitchen with a new menu. There needs to be a manager on site where there was none tonight. Many people coming in and and out of the kitchen so who knows who was who. Needs better oversite to remain in business. Again, Felicia held it down, but she’s not the manager on duty.

Bartenders were too busy chatting , vaping and guzzling shots to attend to customers . Drinks are overpriced and food is very average. We ordered Draft Beers and they said they ran out. No draft at all and its barely 8 PM on a Saturday Night. There are much better options in Long Island where you can get more bang for your buck.

Anywhere I go I always make sure to ask for well done crispy buffalo wings. these wings were barely cooked (boil chicken wings) .. I had to dump the buffalo sauce on top of the wings and there’s no season but to wait 45 minutes for these wings and now have to put them in the air fryer is just insane!! not sure if the cashier even told the cook well done since the order was as messed up to beginning with. Which all I got was just buffalo wings (disappointed) And yes there was no celery or carrots

The menu read happy hour from 3-6 and because it was 4 pm figured that would the case, right? No, we were told not today because it was there first day opening. There was a total of 20 people there. And even if it was packed their menu was false advertising. Decided to go to Old Yale instead.

Slim pickings on beer selection as there was only 1 left of what I ordered. 35 min later ordered another round of beer, both were wrong which doesnt make sense since the bartender repeated the order and we were sitting at the bar. I dont think they had much since she tried to play it off and didnt acknowledge it. Asked about the wings we ordered and was than told the kitchen was closed for the night. Mind you there were 4 men standing in the kitchen, one being the owner. Introduced himself later and apologized about the chef. Why advertise for something when you literally didnt have any food and barely any beer. Left hungry and disappointed.
