My wife's burger, and my Cobb salad were great. Our daughter just was being picky, and didn't like the kids Mac and cheese. My wife I both tasted it, and it was great. The server offered to get her something else, as did the manager. We really appreciated that they went out of their way to be kind and tried, but it was just a case of my daughter not being super hungry, and being right before a swim me, is my thinking. Excellent service, and great food. Would absolutely eat here again, and I recommend you do too.

Just had to share…it was a slow night, so the host was also our waiter, and he was great. I like to talk and joke with the waitstaff when I go out, and this guy was great. His service was on point as well. On the flip side however…didn’t know you guys still were doing the rewards….the last 3 or 4 times we went, nobody asked , so we were not compensated for our purchase!

We love the Greene Turtle! The food is absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders taste like they are homemade and the tater tots are so delicious. Katie the manager came over to our table to see how everything came out. She was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to eat there again.

I was really upset when the Franklin Square location closed down because it was a 5 minute drive from my house, but I’m glad I can still come in and enjoy a drink and delicious food. Amanda, one of my favorite waitresses from the Franklin Square location, is now in East Meadow and I couldn’t be happier! She is the sweetest woman in the world and you can tell she actually cares about her guests and their experience. She always goes above and beyond! It was busy when I arrived for lunch- forgot it was football Sunday- and Amanda was still her sweet, patient, attentive self even though she had a decent amount of other tables. I didn’t recognize the manager from my previous visits to the Turtle and I didn’t get her name, but she we constantly walking around checking on me and my family, along with all the other guests making sure we had everything we needed to have the best possible experience. Looking forward to my next visit with my favorite waitress Amanda, of course!!

On Saturday 12/17 we we schedule to have a medium size party but ended up being a small gathering. To the closing bartender, our service Treasure and mgr Rick, thank you, thank you. All of you accommodated the adjustment All the staff ‘humored’ us as we played games with prizes and incorporated them. Thank you for welcoming and allowing us to make you part of our celebration. Beyond great experience. Outstanding customer service. Went here last night for dinner after a long and exhausting day. I don't drink much these days but I really wanted a nice yummy drink. I ordered what I thought sounded sweet but when I got it I was just not a fan...I like super sweet drinks. I had also asked the waitress about one of the menu items and she told me she'd find out the answer. The waitress returned with the manager, "D". I mentioned I didn't like the drink and when the waitress told D she was happy to not only get me a new drink, but help me find a drink on the menu that I would like. She even told me she would modify it for me so I would really love it. Then she gave me the details about the food I'd asked about, and she mentioned a different way it could be cooked so that I would enjoy it more. I couldn't believe it!! I happily ordered the modified food & drink recommendations. When I got my new drink it was SO good - just what I'd wanted! The wrap I'd ordered was delicious!! Our waitress and D kept coming back to check on us, to make sure we were happy. D even spent time at our table talking and laughing with us, and it really made our dinner so much more enjoyable. This was our first experience at this restaurant, and it was one of the most enjoyable dinners out we've ever had, thanks to the staff. Can't wait to come back!

I don't know what took us so long to step foot into this place. Great for families with kids, each booth has its own TV and you have control of the channel! The food selection is of good variety. The Green Turtle is a Maryland based chain, they're huge on crab EVERYTHING. We however did not have any crab and still had an awesome meal. The Bleu cheese buffalo chicken sandwich is a great choice, my wife had the cowboy burger and it did not disappoint. Our two kids had the hot dog meals and thoroughly enjoyed them. The boardwalk lemonades are a great choice for those who don't want to drink. We arrived during happy hour and I got a few beers off the tap that were ice cold and refreshing. Overall great experience, we will definitely be back!

Great lunch and after work hours spot. Absolutely fell in love with the pulled pork BBQ nachos. They have cracked the code in ensuring each chip can obtain some of the divine toppings. The patron margaritas are great and rapidly making me a regular with their great and friendly service.

This place is SUPER CUTE!!! The food was really good and each table has its own television. We went for the Tyson fight. The staff was so nice and it's a cool sports bar. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend for all your sports going events.

Update from 3 weeks ago: Visited again with the boyfriend. We ordered from their sharable/2 entrees (boneless wings, crabby melt, fish tacos, spinach/artichoke dip) Menu for $25. I ordered from the regular menu also (Nola bowl). This establishment is underrated. Thank you for serving delicious meals. We have leftovers for a couple of days! Ordered classic burger medium well with cheddar on sourdough with fries. Very good. Will return.

What a fun u expectedly cool and comfortable sports bar. Everyone can watch there game. TVs at the booths and plenty up above , lots of room, parking and across street from Eisenhower Park . Food is good too!

We eat there at least once a week and sometimes with 20 people from our happy hour group. Amanda and Joe are most accommodating to large groups. Service and food are always on point. Highly recommended for lunch or a night out.

Dre the Waiter was an absolute animal. Get than man some help on the game room floor. He was bussing, waiting, bartending and food running. Insane generational run. Anyone that missed that shift should give him their pay for that day.

The food is great, but what really made our experience worth writing about was our server Amanda. Not only was she incredible at serving but her dance moves were on point. If you come through, make it a point to sit with her as everything will be flawless.

My family and I stopped to eat here on a whim. I immediately loved the place! There aren’t many sports bar with individual TVs left. I was so happy to watch the basketball ball game and baseball game at the table. The ambiance really had me nostalgic for this community type of sports bar and restaurant. If we are ever back in town, we will be back for sure. I wasn’t even hungry, but the shrimp bowl was fantastic! Kids had a good time.

This place is an amazing spot. I came here for dinner and my server Melissa was the best! She was able to help me decide on what to get and she did not disappoint. We started with the crab dip which was amazing and the chicken strips which was probably the best tenders I’ve ever had. For dinner I got the hog hammers which were super delicious and my husband got the Chesapeake burger. Melissa was also helpful in signing us up for the reward program so we will definitely be back!

Amanda, Maria and Ian were the most attentive, and caring managers and servers Ive had in a long time. They made sure my glass was never empty, that I always had napkins, and made sure my experience was excellent. I would 100% recommend the Greene Turtle to all of my family and friends. Green Turtle is my favorite restaurant. I used to go there when my kids were little. They are older now but we are still customers ! There is something for everybody- kids menu, tasty burgers , fresh salads (apple pecan is my favorite!) beer, drinks. Excellent choice for lunch and dinner. Their private room is perfect for family or business gatherings. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of TVs to watch my favorite sport channels. Server Michael took care of my family, he was polite, fast, friendly.

Love how it’s a sports bar but they aren’t blasting the music. Was good for me and my two little ones. We came in about 1pm. Will be coming back. Big spaces between tables for high chair and for kids which is plus as many don’t have much space to maneuver with a stroller.

Had such a great experience with The Green Turtle in East Meadow! There was a mix-up with my DoorDash order and one of my kid’s dinners didn’t come through. When I called the restaurant, the general manager Ian was so nice and helpful. He offered to deliver the missing meal himself! That kind of customer service is rare these days. The food was awesome as always... Definitely appreciate the great service!

We came here for our annual Christmas company party. It was amazing. We were 16 people, we were sat down immediately and from there everything was exceptional. Diana our waitress was the best. She didnt miss a beat with our order. The food was awesome, the spicy baja tacos and carne asada bowls were delicious and plenty. The boneless wings, cowboy burger were excellent as well. The fries were piping hot and fresh. They gave us our own party room for free it was nice private and we were able to do our secret santa. Our whole staff said this will be our new spot for our company get togethers. The drinks were tue best. We got buckets of coronas, mini margarita pitchers, vodka screwdrivers and they even made fresh coffee for one person. They sang to Victoria who had a birthday that day and didn't charge us for the dessert they gave her. Honestly if u haven’t been here run don't walk. This place big group friendly and accommodating.

I don't have a problem with the fact that our serve doesn't drink, but they should still be fully knowledgeable about the products that are sold there, that's part of the job. Other than that, that space is awesome, lots of tv's! Great place to catch a game and have some quality food.

Went there for paint nite. The food was good, the service was good, paint nite was so much fun. I wish the space was bigger. We felt cramped.

Met up with a groupnof current coworkers and my former CFO for a get together. It's a good size sports bar -- so it's LOUD🤯 The seating area(s) are clean and spacious! The food is decent-- The drinks are good! And the staff are just as kind as they are cute (they're a bunch of hard working kids♡) My only complaint? The shrimp AND fries basket was delicious and I wanted MORE😁 Honestly, this would not have been my first choice (it was my first visit); but I'm glad I went!

People were nice and we were seated immediately. The server was quick and efficient; took our order and had the appetizers and then the meal out quickly. I had the Chesapeake burger and although it delicious it was totally messy and i had to eat it with a fork. Brought my family to meet old friends but it was too loud to have a normal conversation. I would not say this is a family oriented but it is family friendly.

I had 2 waiters tag teaming my table hence the 4✨️They were super nice! So I had a Sunset sangria, 2 Boozy cherry limeade, Shrimp quesadilla, and the Maryland crab cake with sweet potato fries. Yes I know that was alot but the crab cake wasn't enough. $69 later and now I'm stuffed🙄😳 Everything was decent, but I wouldn't say it was finger licking good. Anyhow, it hit the spot. Well the boozy 🍒 cherry limeade was scrumptious 😋 and no I'm not a drinker. Had one of those days and wanted something different. The restroom was clean and the tables plus floors throughout looked clean although I did go early, one-ish. Overall I guess it's a spot to grab a quick bite, but it definitely won't be my go to. Went here on date night with the wifey. I hadn't been here in a while so I totally forgot the atmosphere. The place is pretty big they offer indoor and outdoor dining now due to the pandemic. The host was very friendly accommodated us in a quick and timely fashion. When we went it wasn't busy on a Wednesday night. The waiter was very informative and even suggested what to eat as I was undecided (havnt gone out much since lockdown). I decided on a half rack of ribs with fries and slaw and wife ordered a steak, rice, and salad entree. Food was good and drinks were on point. They had their own signature drinks which is a plus. They have a bar as well and televisions all around making it a child friendly location. Would definitely go again drinks were really good as was the food. Me and my wife enjoyed.

I have been here many times and like it quite a bit. There are many TVs and in the booths on the opposite side of the bar, there are TVs at each table where you can choose the channel. The pretzel sticks with beer cheese is excellent. I get it everytime I go. The American cheese offered on the Build Your Own Burger is White American not Yellow American like I would have assumed. To me, American should be Yellow American and White American should be White American. It should specify if the American is not Yellow. Other than that the burgers are very good. The funnel cake fries are good, but they are a little on the greasy side(I guess that makes them authentic though). The Brownie Sundae is excellent. When I spilt this with my mom, we ordered it very complicated. On one plate, The brownie with whipped cream and in a separate bowl, the ice cream, peanut butter sauce, & Reese's Pieces. The waiter got the order correctly, which was very impressive.

It's a hit or miss here sometimes you get great food and service, and then you don't. Tonight was one of those night. I order the same thing burger and fries. I think i had 15 fries on my dish. I ask then to put the hockey game on. And not even 15 mins later I have football. Tonight wasn't the reg service I usually have so that could be it

Food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. Crazy wait with open tables. Zero hostess to help navigate things, waitresses were forgetting at tables all around. They couldn't handle a Sunday dinner rush. Hire more people, cause the crew got and on Sunday was non existent and cost your business money

My buds and I like to get together on Thursdays sometimes and enjoy the late happy hour offerings. Usually this was Applebee's. Mostly because it was a great deal. Recently one of the guys suggested this place after having come here for another event. We looked it overall but there were some flaws. First I must concede that this place is a real sports bar with large TVs all around the inside perimeter of the place. So everyone in your group can probably find something to watch. Second, the food is pretty good. Interestingly, there seemed to me a lot of crab dishes. We had the crab dip with soft pretzels, crab pizza, nachos (no crabs), and Buffalo wings. All that plus about two drinks per person came out to be about $60 post tax but pre-tip thanks to the half priced happy hour appetizers and drink specials. So why the eh rating? Service. So very slow. The place was not busy at all when we arrived but the host disappeared on us for minutes while we wondered if we should seat ourselves. When we were taken to our seats, the table was cleared but not wiped down. Then it took forever for the waitress to come around. She was super nice and maybe she was out numbered that night (but Thursday-really?). Food did came out relatively quickly once ordered but waiting for the check, waiting, waiting, waiting. This place has the potential to be our new go to spot so we will definitely come back again to see if it was a one off that night.

I used to be a regular before now that finally is back and open I will see this is my 3 time. This time I order drinks some appetizers and a burger medium well the center of the burger was still red. Did not like it to my luck Katie was not in.

Initial dinner plans were for Grand Lux but the line and wait time was crazy. My boyfriend wanted to see the game and this place came up and seemed suitable. Hostess was awesome and very much welcoming. Nicole who tended to our table was doing the damn thing, customer service and professionalism was everything with her. My boyfriend loved the dinner change, LoL! Loves this place and im sure is his "Spot" now. The personal television at the table it was did it for me. Actually surprising selection of food on the menu for a sports bar.

Went for a Saturday lunch and ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich w slaw and a yuengling. The slaw was soggy, dry and terrible overall. The Buffalo chkn sandwich was OK, nothing special. The beer was on point haha... Kenny the bartender was a super cool dude

I went on a Thursday night to watch football and they also have trivia night. I enjoy trivia as much as the next guy but certainly not when the football game is on. They have a large bar and the bartender stayed at only one side of the bar and neglected the side I was on. I ordered the wings. They were ok. Nothing special. They did have a large selection of food though. I will try something else next time. I definitely won't be back on a night the game is on if they are doing trivia the same night.

The service was amazing ! Super friendly staff but the food was terrible I didn’t even finish my food with both dishes. I had the wings they were really fatty and barely had sauce . I also had a salad I thought the chicken was ok and the lettuce wasn’t edible I hate sending food back and making people feel bad so we just paid. I will give them another chance just won’t be ordering wings or salad

Disappointed on this visit, usually the staff and service is very good here. Today was not their day!! Poor service at the bar for dinner; bartender was loud and rude. She genuinely seemed angry that we were sitting in here area. Very odd and disappointing!!

We have not been here in about 5 years. Went on a Sunday at about 530 with the NCAA tournament on. There was about 10 people there including my family. Their service was slow and the waitress tells my son they have no onion rings. 10 minutes later the table next to us gets onion rings. We ask for more water and the waitress brings one glass. It was very hard to get the waitress attention because she was always up front on her cell phone. The food was very bland and very small portions for everything. They also make you scan your credit card at the table with a device which makes it awkward when leaving a tip. I don't think this place will last much longer.

My fiancé enjoyed the burger here when he came a few weeks ago. Tonight was my first time here, we didn’t wait long to be seated, ordered right a way, the atmosphere was cool and our waitress Alicia awesome! I know it’s a Sport Bar but I was super disappointed with the food & drinks. Giving the benefits of the doubt, maybe the use a premix, however, I ordered a chilled Margarita it was horrible. He ordered (10) Chicken Parmesan Wings, I wish I had a pic, because they were undercooked, pink and raw. I felt so bad sending the things back, but they were very understanding and just took it off the bill. Overall their customer service was excellent even before the mishaps.

Well, ordered a lunch special. Boneless BBQ wings. It took close to 20 min for it to come out. Then ordered a cheese burger no tomato medium. The burger was raw in the middle and had tomato on it. I had to send it back. Ordered a 1/2 iced tea and 1/2 lemonade. It most certainly was not made correctly and the flavor was off.

So in terms of the inside of the restaurant, it's certainly not bad looking. I do like the concept of a TV at each booth, but that's all that's going for the restaurant. For a place that isn't so busy, the waitress sure does take a while to come around. I ordered the Caprese Chicken Pasta. The penne pasta was dry. Just reheated pasta from the microwave. Trust me, I think we all know what leftover pasta taste like and the texture. There was barely any pesto sauce on it. My friend asked me for more sauce, but that pesto sauce was tasteless. The grilled chicken ontop was definitely leftover and reheated. I'm certain that they took the grilled chicken, slapped on top some fresh mozzarella pre-sliced from the grocery store, microwaved it a bit just enough to heat the chicken and melt slightly the mozzarella, and then squeeze some balsamic glaze on top. I could've made exactly this, if not better than what they provided. My friend got some trio thing with their "all natural" wings which I'm sure were also grocery store bought, the fried shrimp, and the slamburgers. They accidentally gave her fried pickles instead of shrimp at first. Instead of letting her keep the fried pickles, the waitress pulled the whole dish from her to replace them with the shrimp. Why not just let her keep the dish and then serve the shrimp after? What a waste of perfectly good fried pickles. Maybe calling them perfectly good is being too complimentary. The fried shrimp I'm sure was fine, but I'm sure was not made by an actual cook. The slamburgers were top tier awful. The buns were freezer burnt and the burgers had patties thinner than McDonald's ever did. Covered with mustard and onions. I thought I was having a hotdog more than anything. Even White Castle ain't this bad. My friend even asked for new buns for the burgers because of how bad the texture was due to the freezer burn. I also wanted to add that when they switched out the fried pickles with the shrimp, the burgers had a little bit more grease on them than the previous dish. So I guess the cook is very messy. Even left the bun with mustard on top of it by accident. The experience was pretty bad, but they tried to sweeten the deal with a free dessert. Honestly, I would've preferred that they cover the whole $40+ meals and offer an option of a dessert with pay. The dessert was really good, but we all know they never made it. Will I return back to this turtle? Definitely not. You give customers a $40+ bill of garbage food and then treat them with a free $10 dessert. That's really not right. As well as the greed of not simply letting the customer keep the food you gave them by mistake. Again, the booth with a TV was a cool concept, but the controls on the wall don't even work. There's a control on the back of the TV that does. I think what bothers me the most is the fact that they are literally next to a Sonic and Wendy's. I would've had less of my time wasted eating bad food and just went to one of them and had better food at half the cost with a lot more speed of getting me my food. This turtle needs to head back to the water. This is a place I'd expect Gordon Ramsay to rip apart on Kitchen Nightmares.

A few of the larger tvs had some issues- blue toned. Waiter and host were pleasant. Ordered spinach artichoke dip, very typical. Burger I ordered medium came out very well done. Charred and dry. Tater tots were greasy. Stomach was not happy after. Hubby's burger was over cooked and tater tots were under cooked. Not worth the hassle of bringing it up to anyone. Just no expectation that they'd get it right the second time. Fries shrimp and French fries seemed to come out okay. Overall below average for the price point. Hard to recommend this place when you can go to Croxleys, Houlighans, or somewhere else and have a much better overall experience.

I placed an online order, when I arrived I waited for 15 minutes before being greeted (it was empty). When I got my food I checked the bag since last time they forgot some items. I checked and noticed my one item was missing. I went back in and one employee accused me of lying saying it was still in there and she walked away. Another employee had to help me. Super disappointed in the service and rudeness of staff.

Ordered their beast burger and fries beast style it's such a huge drop in quality from when I used to order them all the time 3 years ago. The burger is way smaller and cold, the packaging is way worst for insulation compared to when they were first available and the beast style fries have no seasoning while the cheese is just way too soggy. Cookies were meh due to said bad insulation packaging. Not worth the 25 bucks they are charging.

Years ago Greene Turtle’s food and service were excellent. They offered deals during the weekday at slow times to drive in more customers. However, the past few times I ordered from Greene Turtle I was left disappointed. I live close by yet every time I order take out the food takes longer than expected to be ready (at least an extra 10 - 15 minute wait) and then it’s still somehow cold. This is shocking because every time I pick up food the restaurant is dead, which shows that everyone else is seeing what I’m seeing. The quality of the food itself gets worse each time I order. The most common item I get is the 7 piece boneless barbecue wings. What’s hilarious is the price per wing goes up if you order 10 pieces. Make it make sense. The wings are overpriced especially for the size of them. If you look at the photo you’ll notice the side cup for dipping is bigger than the wing itself. Also don’t order through delivery service because they increase the price per item. Also the cookie lava cake comes frozen like a rock, I would know because one time they forgot to heat it up before delivering it to me. The sad reality of most restaurants is that prices increase while quality decreases. Don’t believe the reviews. A lot of businesses pay for third party Google reviews to increase their ratings. It’s not that good nor famous.

Service was bad. Me and 3 other buddies went, seated quickly. Was told we were going to be served by another server but she still took our order, no problem. By the end of eating and all, we were serviced by 4 different people. I understand if it’s understaffed but some servers were just standing around and it wasn’t packed at all. Being served by 4 different people didn’t bother me much, it was more of the fact that most of them didn’t provide a welcoming experience or at least be somewhat nice. Didn’t get any “Thank you for coming in!” or “Have a nice night!” when we left and just felt out of place the whole time there. Would never recommend this place. You can go to places with a better customer experience close by. Oh and forgot to mention that we were overcharged as well but we brought it to their attention, no apologies either there. It’s the small things that really stand out sometimes, not that hard to greet or give a “Thank you!” Another thing too, more of suggestion instead of a complaint, add some more vegetarian options as well like 2-3, thanks!

Waitor never came. After we ordered, it took over 30 mins for our food to come out and it was cold!! Only my second time here and second time my food came out cold. I'm so done with this place. Zero stars

my online order was without the fries and I really suspect it was because I didn't leave tip. Maybe I am wrong. However, how do you leave out the fries for two crab cake dou...it's literally just crab cakes and fries

As we have been here before and previously had positive experiences, we called ahead for a large group as we had tickets somewhere near by afterwards. Two days before when we made the reservation for a group of 13 people over the phone (including 5 children and a 6 month old) there was no mention that the liquor license had expired and they had no heat! We showed up, and they immediately seated us. Still not mentioning they could not serve alcohol and didn’t have heat. The host who sat us did ask how old the baby was, so he was concerned about the baby tolerating no heat, but still didn’t say it wasn’t working. They whisked us into a room with space heaters, which was appreciated, but if we were told it would be so cold we immediately would have went somewhere else. Until we tried ordering a glass of wine, was when we were told about how they were unable to serve alcohol. When we questioned why it wasn’t mentioned when we called two days before , or on the way in, the waitress said it was on a sign when we walked in. We came in with a large group and were seated immediately, the sign was not something we noticed or stopped to read as we were brought to the back. When I went back to check the sign and see what I missed, it was not very noticeable. And when someone else came in and asked what was happening here, I told them there’s no heat or alcohol. And when someone who worked there overheard me she rudely said “no one is forcing you to stay”, to which I walked back to my table. Of course we could have left, but we just brought in 6 kids , who were now out of their jackets and starving so we stayed. All of these red flags should have sent us running, 3 children and 1 adult has been very sick with digestive issues since we left. It’s such a shame, we have dined here multiple times and always had a positive experience , but obviously things have changed. The waitress could not have apologized more, and she did get the manager to give a 10$ discount. But no manager ever came out to talk to us at all. It was really a horrible experience for a fun family night out.

I visited Green Turtle tonight for the first time and was genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, my entire experience at the bar was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we sat at a large bar that was being handled by one bartender. Instead of taking care of guests, the bartender Laura M spent most of her time at the far end of the bar eating, texting, and chatting with coworkers. We were seated on the opposite side, and we were completely neglected from the start. After receiving the food we ordered, there was never any follow up to see if we needed anything or to check that the food was okay. When my 2nd drink arrived, it was made with an overwhelming amount of strawberry syrup. I actually had to go look for the bartender because she wasn’t behind the bar. I politely asked if she could remake it with less syrup. Rather than returning and asking if the new drink was okay, she slapped it down in front of me with a smirk and walked away. For the rest of the visit, our empty plates, dirty napkins, and empty glasses just sat in front of us, and she never checked back once. When I tried to ask for the check, she ignored me and kept talking to another customer. I had to ask a second time before she finally rang us out. When I calmly mentioned that her attitude was unprofessional, she argued back and insisted I “got what I ordered,” despite the drink being poorly made the first time. This was my first experience at Green Turtle, and it left a really bad impression. As local customers we will not be returning to this establishment.

This place has the most welcoming hostess and one of the nicest waiter. Service is really excellent. Unfortunately it stops there as the food is just ok and barely pass the bar. I almost didn’t eat anything of the dishes I took and I found that the crab dish was way too greasy, heavy. I only took a bite and it didn’t do it for me. Guess it’s a great place to maybe have drinks as they were actually good. Also I think the steak is a safe bet as my friend’s plate was not so bad. Hope they step up the quality of the food cause otherwise it would be a cool place to chill with friends.
