Hostess was very kind and helpful. Food and ice cream was good amd well- served. I think the host's name is Brianna. She's a very good worker. Good job..because I wasn't crazy about allll the people there lol but she helped clean up and keep our area organized. Thanks you.
Pizza was very good and crunchy, not soggy. Cashier was very helpful. The salad area wasn't too delightful. The employee was rude (salad).
The pizza is always delicious hands down. They have free marinara sauce and the ice cream goes hard af to. Plenty of games for the kids and they have a free play area if you don't want to spend money on the games.
We went during the buffet, and the service was exceptional. They cleaned tables near us so quick and the staff are so friendly.
Great for parties. They organize everything for you if you ask them, and the party hosted are always on the go when you ask for something never have had complaints about it, even when just going to grab a quick bite. I love PPP.
Our favorite pizza is the New York Three Cheese & Pepperoni with extra diced pepperoni added! Last time our pizza was not made as ordered and we had to wait longer for them to remake it. The manager gladly gave us some ice cream cones on the house! Will be back.
My best friend and I come here when I go down to visit. Great food and fun place to legally gamble our money AND earn matching bracelets lol
Food came out surprisingly fast for a high demand. There was at least 50 of us and the wait was not long for pizza to come out
This was my very first time at Peter Piper Pizza and I was NOT disappointed. I used to go to Cicis all the time because I believed they were the only pizza buffet around. Triple P is so much better than them it's unreal. The selection of pizza is so much better. So Peter Piper has a new fan.
We brought Ac2E 3rd graders in for lunch today and were glad to see that they had already pre-served the kids' pizza and drinks. This simply made things a lot simpler and faster. Thanks for all the help! Btw, the New Yorker from your buffet options was delicious!
Best pizza place for the family. Quality ingredients and fun place for the kids to have some fun. My kids love the pizza from here. The buffet is worth it if you are able to come during those hours. 3 cheese New Yorker is a must try.
Great service! Team and management! Wings are always on point. Pizzas are beyond delicious. Would recommend 👌!!!!
Kids always have a blast! The games are fun and most of them work well. The employees are ready to help if needed. I like that they have packs that include tokens already. We had the pepperoni pizza and the "werks" with wings and they were really good. I've had the salads before and they are fresh. Thumbs up.
Excellent pizza, excellent service, absolutely fun games after a delicious meal. 10/10
Buffet is cheap and good salad bar
This location was busy and very efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. The food was fresh and delicious. The restrooms were clean and stocked. We definitely be coming back to enjoy family time.
Pizza is always great at any location I've never had a bad experience with PPP. It's definitely more of a children's attraction when it comes to the games and the fact that kids don't seem to be phased how some of these locations need new carpeting because they smells like dirty wet carpet. Overall it beats the pizza anywhere so no complaints on the food end, wings are also a must.
I went during the lunch buffet this was my first time ever going and I just wanted to say Thank you to the employee's everything was so delicious and super clean I never saw a dirty table cause someone kept coming to pick up the plates people were leaving behind and there was plenty of peppers and parmesan cheese for everyone. For the price I think it was money saving and a fast good lunch 😋
Their hot-n-ready pizza is always so delicious 😋
I really love the games! This place is awesome, but the food. . . The food can make me sick sometimes and I really hate that. That might only be for me though! My family approved of the food so, I guess some people like the food. Sometimes it can get REALLY crowded, and that makes me try and stay away at times. The prizes are really cool too, I LOVE the chalk prize, and the lava lamps are so cool!!! So other than the food, Peter Piper Pizza is AMAZING!!
It's Peter Piper Pizza it's not a 3 star Michelin restaurant, it's greasy pizza, fountain drinks and token video games. I wish I could go 5 stars but it's not a perfect experience, wish they had newer games and that the place was a bit cleaner especially the bathrooms other than that it's worth going for some family fun or to plan a kids birthday party.
I’m writing this review specifically for Michael, the manager at the location on University Dr. and Jackson Rd in Edinburg Texas. It’s been more than one occasion that Michael has gone out of his way to provide the best customer service possible, even when someone else is helping me out already, he steps in if he notices their customer service isn’t the best, or if they may be new to the job and not very efficient. Either way, Michael has stood out to me on multiple visits to this location, and this is the first time in my 25 years of life that someone’s amazing customer service has stoop out to me. To Peter Piper, I believe you need more people like Michael in your restaurants. Michael is putting a great image out to the customers of Peter Piper Pizza, and I am grateful to have been served by him.
Peter Piper Pizza in Edinburg has one of THE BEST employees! Ryan, who was on the floor tidying up, brought over a high chair for my grandson. It wouldn’t buckle so he replaced it with one that would. Ryan was very courteous and even thanked me for choosing Peter Piper Pizza for our birthday party. Management there needs to take good care of Ryan. He’s a keeper! Thanks, Ryan!
Bring more storage space for your belly, because the lunch buffet requires it!!!
The pizza was hot and tasty. For being somewhat busy to really busy the order did not take long. I was a little disappointed with the sweet tea as it tasted a little old, but was able to cover it some with a couple of lemon slices.
Went to a birthday party there, loved it 😍! Loved the pizza (Like most people Pizza is my favorite food)
Employees are nice and food is as I remember it over the decades, wish there was a better waiting area for those picking up an order not yet ready it feels like you’re in the way with nowhere but the line or the doorways.
Fun place. Decent pizza. Our kids love it.
We have been coming to this place for years from when it was tokens and the prizes were cheap. I understand inflation went up but geez 85 points for 1 gummy lol 😆 always great pizza and salads.
I think this is my favorite pizza especially because of the taste of the sauce. It's different. I also like the taste of the bread cuz of the taste the yeast gives it.
The pizza was dry. I wish they had more games and also have a limit on how many times the games can be played. Some adults stayed at a game since me and my son got there and didn't get off until we left. He wanted to play it but the chicks stayed there.
I had an exceptional dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was top-notch - attentive, efficient, and friendly staff made sure we felt welcome. *Highlights:* *Food Quality* Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. *Ambiance* Immaculately clean and cozy atmosphere. *Service* Staff were warm, courteous, and knowledgeable. *Highly Recommend!* Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family!"
I work about 3 minutes from this location so I frequent this Peter Piper's about twice a month for lunch. I have always had a great experience here as a whole. Like most people during lunch, I enjoy taking advantage of the lunch buffet. I love that you can place an order for whatever type of pizza that you would like. My pizza orders are always really great tasting and fresh. I don't know the girl's name that makes the pizza but she usually has her hair up, wears a cap, and has a tattoo on her arm but she is a Master at crafting her pizzas! The only thing that has bothered me in the last couple of months is that the restaurant has not had my favorite topping of diced pepperoni "in stock" for quite some time ( 3+ months at least). But like I mentioned, everything else has been awesome so I can't really complain. Great Job Peter Piper! By the way, sorry for the trashy pic, I need to work on my camera skills......
This Is My Wife's Favorite Pizza; it was our "cheat day" so she picked dinner this weekend!.. We Ate Two Slices Each, we enjoyed it...
A lot busier on the weekends and now that we're post pandemic. Staff is quick about clearing tables as soon as people leave. So even though it was busy it was easy to find a place to sit. If you are a germaphobe take hand sanitizer. Games aren't cleaned as each person uses them and within reason the staff is pushing out orders and helping people get prizes in a timely manner to not crowd high traffic areas.
If management was to pay more attention to the games, people's experience would be better. Some games don't work or have been out of order for a while. Other games eat your tokens, even after you put in the right amount or amount required. It's just a hassle looking for employees every time a game takes your tokens.
They have savory pepperoni pizza!😍the sauce had a more natural flavor in it compared to others.🤙
We had our daughter's birthday celebrations here. If you setup a reservation you get your tables, tokens for guests, tickets and a host to assist. Get very busy during the weekend. Order ahead if you can.
Staff is polite, but the pan dish pizza was raw - seemed cooked for a normal pizza by accident. The restrooms were decent. Also, Terminator Salvation game was out of order. The Aliens game could use some repair on the button controls, as well.
This place offers a consistent and enjoyable experience. Recently, they switched from tokens to game cards, which was a bit of a change. I used to love the old-school tokens and tickets; they added to the nostalgic feel of being a kid. The staff was decent, and the food remained consistently excellent. I’ve been a regular here since childhood, and it’s nice to share the same fun with my own kids now.
Pizza was good & for a lunch buffet at 6.99 I can't complain. I was surprised with the apple dessert pizza which might not be a big deal for most, but for me it was the best dessert pie I've tried lately. Restaurant wasn't too loud even though it was pretty busy. The kids seemed to be enjoying the games. The store was pretty clean.
The food is always on point. They do have a all you can eat lunch buffet, which is really worth the price. There are not too many games here, but it's good enough for most kids.
Went for a birthday party. The pizza is good. Only had pepperoni though. My husband bought a mug of beer and it was almost $5. He said it was drinkable, but tasted a bit flat. The games are pretty expensive. Nothing is under $0.50. Overall, the kids had fun and we didn't have to wait in line to play games.
Great place, pizza is awesome just don't like how the tables are so closed together for parties. Wish there was more soda machines so there wouldn't be a pile up when getting drinks. Other than that over all great place
I came on Saturday afternoon so place is crowded, having 2 piñatas same time plus regular public however line for order and pay was pretty fast. Even with a bunch of people place looks clean and fresh. Food os okay I mean pizza and wings as usual. The one thing I really liked is their healthy salads, I do appreciate having these kind of meals on menu.
We went with two little kids to hace lunch and spend the afternoon. The all-you-can-eat option id the most convenient one, really cheap for everything you could eat. The options are buffet, pizza, so…

Pizza was decent. Soda was flat. The games are expensive most likely because there are so few machines. I would have had a better overall experience at Chuck E. Cheese's BUT, I must give a shout-out to David working behind the prize counter because he was outstanding and engaged my 20 month old multiple times. David knows what's up.
I don't know what is going on with the people doing the pizza. Everytime I order a pizza it's never made the way I ordered it. I ordered the pizza with extra veggies and pepperoni. I got a pizza with extra cheese. I told them this is not my pizza. I was told to take it and another will be made. Well to make a long story short, they made the pizza 3 times and never got it right. I got 3 pizza with extra cheese and regular pepperoni.I hope next time it will be done right.
Good pizza as always, but had to take it to go as the store was filled w kids on school trips, not wearing masks. Pizza, like always could have done w a few more mushrooms or more beef topping.
Attended a party today. Place hasn't changed much, I hadn't been in there in about 10 years. Place needs new carpets as they stink. It's funny how they have 6 feet apart at register but still crammed in there at the parties.
Great place for the kids to have fun, but in my opinion pizza is overpriced. This time for me was a carry out due to the preference of a friend I was going to visit. Personally, I wouldn't go here for $17+ Large Pizza. Not the fault of the staff though, they are very busy and friendly.
For one thing thier benches were you sit are not safe at all for disabled people. I had a bad experience thiers kids running all over parents are talking not paying attention. I was sitting when some kids came around and the bench was not safe for me . I'm in a wheel chair and they bumped the bench and Almont fell back I have i6 disks fractured but i had to get off because thiers no room for handicapped ♿ wheel chair people. To crowed and I think they should have places for us to prevent accidents. You might say why did you go because I hardly see my grandkids and i want to see them all in one day .
Pizza was good I will say. i decided to get wings and it was horrible, I should of added photos to this review. I never tried wings like these seems like they were undercooked. I heard a lady complaining about them when I was picking up my order and they were so apologetic and offered her a desert or her money back and she says a desert would be fine she said she doesn’t care about the money. And when I noticed my wings didn’t look right I complained and told lady they don’t taste like wings and she said they made a mistake and she took my wings and I thought she was going to give me a new order but she’s just warmed them up in the oven. Next time I won’t be nice and take ur offer I will go off like any other customer would lesson learned. Price was $6.99 I could of went to wingstop and had a scrumptious meal
We came to have dinner, we ordered an x-large pepperoni pizza, after 5 minutes the pizza was cold and had a different flavor, too much sauce. The cheese was not even melted correctly. The place was filthy and dirty.
Went to a birthday party and it was packed to begin with therefore you would the AC would be full blast, well it was really hot in there. The party host was slow and did not manage her time well. From experience as a party host you have to continue to remind the parent how much time is left and ask her if he/she would like to do the next thing of cutting the cake or hitting the piñata.
Walked in to pick up my pizza, still in the oven, no problem. Waited about 10 minutes finally came out but cook seemed confused about cutting it, boxed it and left it to box other pizzas and didn’t bring it to counter until Manager looked at it and brought it to me. I opened to look at it and was disappointed. Not well done, toppings were not evenly distributed and later found it wasn’t completely cut.
Pizza is not very good. Games are ok but dated and some don't function appropriately. Pizza quality left much to be desired. Generic crust grade aa food service products. Lack of visible effort to maintain sanitation standards. Bathrooms had enough urine on floor I was worried about slipping, not to mention being out of soap. Employees don't want to be there, the flat and downcast affect set the tone from the start. Atm charges high fees so take cash. It seems a popular place for children's parties, likely to the low rates. There is an option to bring your own pinata if that is you flavor, they have a special pinata cage just for this. Simple things though like no air on air hockey tables significantly detract from the experience. Our party planner gave no instructions about when to order, how process worked, just adds to the confusion when trying to watch so many kids. Games were overly violent so aged for older crowd. Staff in kitchen stand around having private but audible bon work discussion instead of a cknowledging your presence. Couldn't get an answer regarding availability of gluten free products. I don't imagine going back, even the children were disappointed with the overall experience. The group of adults smoking outside of the door and the second hand smoke that filtered in and permeated the dining room was unpleasant to say the least
While the pizza is delicious, the service surely is to be desired.... The last time we visited was for a party that we organized for our now 1-year-old. The person in charge of us wasn't looking out for us, and especially wasn't nowhere around to be seen unless something "wrong" Was going on at our table. What do I mean by the "wrong"? If we had any tyoe of decor or fixing, they would tell us that it wasn't possible, but if it was a member of management having their party, the they would bring their big archs of balloons and plush toys. PPP be fair, simple as that.
I got there 45 minutes before closing and I went to say hi to my family that was already there. Went back to order my self a pizza and a pitcher of beer for us to drink. But I was told I couldn't order beer cause they where gonna close in 30 minutes. Also there was no ice cream. Go to the McAllen one instead.
Alway have a problem in this location. Management seems petty. The people working there seem very unhappy. Felt so sorry for them. Plus did not enjoy swatting away flies constantly while trying to eat there
My family and I ordered the two pizzas for $25 special with three adult drinks and I ordered a pitcher of beer. Someone who wasn't my cashier started pouring the pitcher before I knew it and I told the cashier I wanted my pitcher when my food came out. The cashier says, "you didn't tell me that", and I say, "you didn't ask me and you didn't tell me they were going to fill the pitcher right now". Some locations will ask you what beer you want and the same cashier will pour it, that's when I tell them I will wait for the pitcher. The cashier and the manager seemed to get bothered by this but they didn't make a big deal about it. When my pizzas came out, they were great. They were cheesy, hot, and not burnt. I went to ask for my pitcher of beer and they wanted to give me the original beer that they had poured and just left sitting. I told them I wanted a fresh pitcher and this also seemed to bother them but they gave me a newly poured pitcher of beer. We poured two mugs and the beer was flat. The pizzas looked delicious so I didn't want to bother getting a new flat pitcher of beer. I did ask the manager for the receipt so I could make a comment about my experience on the Peter Piper Pizza survey and this also seemed to bother her but she did print me out a new receipt. They had taken my original receipt when I asked for the pitcher of beer. We visited this location because we were were near and we love Peter piper pizza but we'll don't like visiting this restaurant because we've had bad experiences before. We think the Pharr location is the best one for us.
I took my daughter's for brunch to get the kids meal/pack and myself a side salad. I also ordered 3 ice cream cones. I'm not sure if the cashier was new but the receipt only shows the name Isaiah and it was a young lady. Anyway, she forgot our drinks, and my girls didn't get tokens or certificates for the tickets typical of the meal. When I asked about my drinks, a man asked for my receipt and then threw it away after making a face. I didn't realize it then but they also didn't give me the tokens or certificates for tickets that come with the meals.
I love this place but they sold me a very old lettuce salad 😫 and the wings were not thoroughly cooked 😏 the pizza was great but if that's all they can do well then don't sell anything else 🥴
The food was ok. The only major difference was that we were handed a black tray with the salads and the tray was super filthy. The tray was sticky and gross 🤢. Why was a dirty tray reused and not washed? Something is definitely wrong. We're not going there again! That was very unsanitary.
Been going there forever but when I got to the drink station, there was black mold on the plastic shoots were the ice comes out of and some of the area around the tap for the soft drinks. Now I wonder if they are cleaned at all and how long it’s been since I just noticed it. Come on..you have kids coming to the restaurant and it isn’t clean. Yuck!
This man ruined the ambience. Mean to kids. Made the food taste bitter with the gross energy he was exuding. Go when he isn’t there if you want to enjoy your experience. I know he is probably struggling with health and other issues so he tries to take it out on others, but adults need to learn to not let their anger out on other people 🫶 overall, o had an amazing lunch but he earned this location one star
Service was horrible waited over an hour to get 1 pizza when I went to ask about it turns out they had given it someone else and told me I would have to wait 15-20 more mins while they made another one due to their incompetence Manager was rude and very unprofessional never going back i would give it 0 stars if I could
We went to our nearest location on university, in edinburg, tx.cashiers must be trained properly. To give customers, info on specials & promotions, going on,cashier that attended seemed annoyed cause I was taking to long, which is why it would speed things along if cashiers would offer specials and explain deals, and not have customers guessing n asking all these questions, on top of that ugly attitude, eye rolling,no customers care, why do they even apply to work there,if everything bothers these girls, smh, bad enough it's slow everywhere, and attitudes like theirs make customers not even revisit ever again
Pizza was under cooked, wings were changed, they were so flavor less, then I asked a girl for buffalo sauce and she said they didn't have any... So I turned around and asked her manager for sauce and he was more than happy to get some for me, because he knew the wings were so flavor less...
I’ve been to many Peter pipers before, even to this one before but I guess they have new staff or new management that they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. Staff member Jasette or whatever little short girl was just rude and had no compassion at all. When brought to the attention of the Manager Michael he seemed to not know how to handle the situation or what to say. I know managers from other locations and handle their business. Get this under control because staffs customers service sucks.
My first time ever booking a party with ppp never again! Our party host left 15 minutes before the party ended nowhere to be found, she didn’t bring plates or forks or even a knife for the cake cutting and when the party was over she was taking off the tablecloth as we were eating me and my guests and begins to throw everything away including the balloons until my friend stopped her! Never again do not recommend you’re better off at chuckee cheese or mr gattis. ROTTEN CUSTOMER SERVICE
Waring you can not take leftovers if your doing the buffet. I can understand if it is people trying to take advantage of them by taking p A whole pizza. But this was not the case when my 5 year old son my son asked for a box to take home his bitten slice of pizza They took my sons bitten slice of pizza and threw it in the trash right in front of his eyes. They must throw all pizza away at the end of the buffet what a waste.
Terrible. You go to pick up your phone order in the designated area and get completely ignore. They do not keep your phone order under the heating lamps. Thanks i love my pizza warm
Just purchased the pepperoni 16.99 special. Not happy at all. Pizza is under cooked. Very little cheese. Little square pepperoni? Thats excepted on a grocery store frozen totinos pizza. But Peter Piper pizza? You are slacking on your quality. How the mighty have fallen. I will not order this again. **This Customer is very disappointed** This PPP is not the pizza People pick anymore...
I have been coming to this Ppp for years and i have never had problems until today. as a customer i expect to be treated with respect but that was the complete opposite today, worker named “eli” was very rude and just did not care. i called for his name to kindly ask where i could get another plate and when called he looked and me and looked away while rolling his eyes i could tell he was doing this to other customers because the person behind us said”yeah he was like that with us too. he needs an attention and attitude adjustment. never coming here or referring again.
Very disappointed in the customer service today. I came from San Antonio to have a nice lunch with my family, the cashier who attended us had a HUGE attitude, instead of saying “Hi Goodmorning, how can I help you today?” Or something similar she walked up to the register and said “YES?” Like if we were bothering her. She made no eye contact, and when she gave me my receipt she didn’t say “your food will be right out” or “thank you” or anything and she just walked off when we were not done ordering and were gonna put a separate order and NOBODY with this kind of attitude should be working a register if they’re not gonna be a people person. All the employees were just standing around staring at each other and just observing the bad customer service. We came in a good mood, and that ruined the experience. You all should be training your employees to greet customers and thank them aswell.
Came in with a large family group of about 20 people. We were at the end of our meal and watching a basketball game on TV. The manager started turning off the TVs and I asked if he could wait 20 seconds as a basketball game we were watching was in the last 10 seconds and he refused and turned it off. Said his name was "Michael" and refused to come out to talk to me after I voiced my displeasure. I know it was a bit after closing but I'm sure they were gonna be there quite a while longer to clean up. Just thought it was unprofessional after I politely asked for him to leave it on a few more seconds. Won't be going back.
I’m really disappointed as to how the staff conduct and communicate over the phone. I called in today to place an order and the young lady that answered was giggling and laughing chatting with another staff member and when is speaking to me, she repeats the words “LARGE SAUSAGE” laughing and then she tells me ok and hangs up. I called back and cancelled. I understand that perhaps some of the staff members want to make work fun, but when communicating to paying customers, it would be appreciated if the staff members had better communication skills and etiquette. I did feel offended when she repeatedly said “LARGE SAUSAGE,” i felt she was implying something else in a grotesque manner and I had her talking through the Bluetooth of my vehicle with my children in the backseat listening. That young lady that answered the phone really needs to grow up.! Also the wings from this location taste horrible. Every time I’ve ordered wings from here, they just suck.
I come atleast 2 times a month. For my kids never had a problem before, i ordered a large pizza, with breadsticks and a half pound of wings. We and my family ate there. Once the buzzer sounded i got our order. We were about to dig in till one of the workers came to our table and said they accidently gave us a pound of wings instead of a half a pound. While we were eating they took the wings from our table after we already picked at it. Never again. Not our mistake. There mistake and the fact they tocuhed our food after we started eating already with this whole pandemic.
Came here during my lunch break for the buffet and had a terrible experience. About 5 minutes after we paid, 7 busloads of students showed up, and the restaurant made no effort to manage the situation. Hundreds of kids completely took over the buffet line, making it impossible for regular customers to access the food we had already paid for. I understand the employees are probably overworked and underpaid, but this was a management failure. There should have been separate lines or some type of system to accommodate the large school group while still allowing paying customers access to the buffet. Like many people who work nearby, I only have a 1-hour lunch break, and we ended up leaving about 10 minutes after arriving without getting anything to eat because the line was completely overwhelmed. Very frustrating experience. If you’re going to host large school groups, management needs to plan for it and make sure other paying customers aren’t pushed out. I won’t be coming back during lunch.
Horrible experience. Asked for a to go box for my leftover pizza not purchased from the buffet and they made me feel like I was stealing pizza from the buffet. Employees could have handled it better.
Came for the buffet with my 7 year old we each only ate 2 slices and it was 147 and they didn’t want to make the cinnamon bread and others were asking for it too 🙄
