1st time there absolutely delicious!!

Love this place so much. I walked in today and the special was string beans. There’s a woman at a booth near the kitchen peeling the stems off of them. Fresh! The menu is huge and they really prioritize quality. I like that they’re not trying to be the most authentic, they just want to make good food. The staff is super friendly and works together well. A group just left and they immediately started clearing the table, even though there are plenty of empty tables. Shows that they’re all about doing the right thing, not the easy thing.

Food was phenomenally well seasoned. Staff was very accommodating and polite. Will come back again and again!

Had dinner here with my wife. We moved to West Sac about 2 years ago, so it was good to visit oh favorite restaurant again. They have the best pork fried rice. We also got the cashew chicken and the sesame chicken. We both had several servings, and took about half of it home for leftovers. Total bill was around $30.

This is a great Chinese cuisine restaurant. My coworkers & I enjoy lunches here with their wide variety of menu options & fast service. The ladies that take our orders are very nice & helpful. I personally enjoy the House Chow Fun or one of the combination lunch specials. Always flavorful & fresh. Definitely worth your time & money. Don't believe me? Try it yourself.

The orange chicken and chow mein were really good. I usually put soy sauce on my chow main but the chow main here was so good I didn't put any on it. We also tried the hot and sour soup and it was also delicious. Looking forward to trying new stuff next time

This place is fantastic! Fresh and delicious food, excellent service, mellow family friendly atmosphere. I am really happy to discover yet another great place to eat in Elk Grove. This was my first time but it definitely will NOT be my last.

My 1st time here and it was enjoyable. We started with hot & sour soup then had pot stickers. Both were very good. Our entrées were lemon chicken, mushu pork, and mixed vegetables. All the dishes had good flavor.

I’ve been coming here since a teen and it never disappoints! Some of the best tasting food I’ve had. Worth stopping by and trying it out, you won’t be disappointed.

The best "Chinese" food in the Sacramento area. Their fish in black bean is amazing... scratch that, everything on their menu is amazing. My family and I have been coming here for maybe over a decade, they are consistent and their food is great.

Chinese food is usually last on my list of restaurants. We usually run the gambit of Thai, Japanese, Indian, Greek, Mexican, before we even consider Chinese food. However, the other day I had a craving for shrimp stir-fry, and a quick check at menus online told me this was my best bet. I've been here before, but it's been a year or two. On this trip, I discovered that their menu was SO MUCH BIGGER than I remembered, and even has a whole page of "vegetarian meats" (i.e. wheat protein). The vegetables on our stir fry dishes were fresh and not overly sauced as I'm used to at other places. Lots of seafood options, too. The stir fry green beans were AMAZING! I was so pleasantly surprised by everything we tried, and also how many large tables there are for families. Prices are very reasonable, and portions are plenty for sharing. This place has convinced me to add Chinese food back into the rotation!

Good place to eat. Service is fast, friendly and professional. Food portions are a lot for the price. Only one small complaint - too much sauce on the general, lemon, orange, sweet & sour chicken. Just too much sauce that spills into other food on the plate. Otherwise, excellent dining experience!

So fresh the vegetables were so fresh. I felt like they chopped the freshest produce to prepare our meal. The service was excellent and the staff was so friendly. The best is that this is a family own local restaurant and you can feel and taste how much they care. I will be back !!

This is the best Chinese food in town! The chow main is so fresh and juicy. Our favorite was the sesame chicken and Kung Pao chkn. The tofu in the soup was perfect little piece. We will be back for sure. The lady helping us was nice and I didn't have to ask for anything she was great as well.

I have tried so many others and nothing compares or comes close to Tea Garden food especially the general chicken. Every time I come I always make sure to order it!! They are now opened on Sundays! The only day they're closed is on Mondays.

This place is nothing short of 5 stars for my wife and I. We look for non franchise establishment (most of the time) that has good food, helpful, and the restaurant is worth sitting down and eating dinner in. MAN, we sat down, place our order and I swear within 5 minutes our combo chicken & shrimp fried rice came out and seconds after, chicken with veggies and beef & broccoli was there. Please, sit down and eat here. The food was simply amazing hot & fresh. I will never order to go from Tea Garden. I will forever sit, eat, and enjoy the freshness of my meal.

Wonderful experience stopping here. They were extremely helpful when we walked in with our baby in a car seat. Our order had a mistake and they took it back and got us the right entree within 5 mins no problem. I can’t wait to return.

I’m literally speechless right now!! The person that took my order was absolutely wonderful. She was caring, paid attention to detail and was just so sweet. I’ve never had service like this before and it’s definitely going to make me come back. I didn’t get her name but she is the reason why Tea Garden is so great!! Husband just took me here. I had the #9 with pepper steak, yasss, it was all good. We had the salt and pepper wings without jalapeños. The food had flavor and was fresh. Try it! I think you'll like it 😏 The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Overall food is very good and tasty here. They have some nice combo plates for s Good price also. Nice and clean with clean restroom compared to most Chinese food places. Server didn't come check on is often so we had to flag them down for refills.

This place is really good. Ran across this by accident looking for a pho restaurant. Only knocked off one star because most restaurant tend to give you White rice for free while they charged $1 each bowl... Overall the food was better then expected... My favorite dish of the night was salt and pepper calamari... Yummy!

Very disappointed with my last experience and I won't be returning until indoor dining is open again. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I promptly arrived at the quoted pick-up time. Upon arrival I paid and then was told to wait in the car because it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. They should've given a more accurate wait time, I would have rather waited at home than in my car. If they would have told me the additional wait time before I paid I would have left and bought some fast food somewhere nearby. So 20 minutes later I get my food, drive home, sit down with the family to discover cold food. I couldn't believe it. You would think that waiting that additional 20 minutes meant the food would be hot and fresh right? Wrong. And it wasn't the time from restaurant to table either...I live a few blocks away. Some of the chicken was hard and chewy like it had been re-fried...yesterdays leftovers maybe? In all, the experience was just bad and definitely not what you would expect when paying that much (family of six). Next time I'll go to Panda Express where at least I know what I am paying for.

Pretty decent food, but the prices are a whole different story. Prices continue creeping up. I can understand the delivery charge, but the $25 minimum also went up to $35. Do betterTea Garden, do better!!!

I drove 30 minutes for this food because every other Chinese food restaurant in my area has been terrible, this food was not worth the drive at all sadly 😭 the service was amazing but if I'm spending 16$ a serving for 4, each person, it better be worth it! Dam I wanted this to be a good place so much!! I won't make the trip again and I'm starting to think there aren't any good Chinese restaurants in the Sacramento area.
