Super cool atmosphere with different areas providing different ambiance. A group table suitable for 10 for special occasions is under one of their many eclectic chandeliers. We were greeted by the hostess to whom we expressed how excited we were to try the place for the first time. The food was outstanding! Flavor profiles were well thought out - we had the queso, Conchinita Burrito, Tequila Shrimp Tacos, and a lunch special, followed by their totally unique and magnificent cheesecake! Everything was delicious. Tori, our server, was perfectly attentive and friendly. My only criticism, is that a manager didn't stop by to welcome us or check on how things were. It is a special touch (a table touch) that makes a world of difference and only takes a moment. 😉
We saw this restaurant from the interstate and decided to have a bite to eat. I was able to make reservations quickly and didn't have to wait long to be seated. As soon as we entered there was Christmas decor everywhere and it was very busy. Our server, who was very friendly and sweet, gave us water upon greeting us which was a treat because most places don't do that any more. We ordered queso and chips for an appetizer, tacos and rice for two of us, and I got the goddess bowl plus Starry to drink. The food was excellent the savory yet peppery taste delighted my tastes. The tacos (3) were also very appeasing to the others at the table. The staff were most helpful and they have a military discount and the prices are very fair. If you want a great night out this is the place to go.
Great place to meet a group of friends and have some good Mexican. Before I dive into anything the 5 Stars go primarily to our server Maya who did and amazing job handling a group of 11. Sometimes its not all about the food but the service and Maya went above and beyond. Thank you Maya. Bar is setup awesome and there is lots of room in the area to drink. Place is huge but do recommend reservations as it get packed especially if you have a big group. They are very accommodating though Food was standard Mexican food. It was solid and had good flavor. Environment and Ambiance the best around Denver for a restaurant. Highly recommend.....DO IT
Absolutely the best birria taco we have had in Colorado. The corn ribs amazing...the salsa trio, all very good flavor. Heck, even the Mexican rice was fantastic... if you want Mexican food and want a great atmosphere... you can't go wrong going here. So glad we tried it!!!!
Came here to celebrate my birthday and our server Mac absolutely delivered. The drinks were fantastic, balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the bartender knows what she’s doing as my last drink was made by request. The food was just as solid and fresh, it was exactly what you want from a unique Mexican spot. The vibe in the bar was fun without being chaotic, which made it perfect for a birthday night out. Left happy, well-fed, and we highly recommend for great cocktails and a celebratory meal.
The staff was amazing!! We went for happy hour for a celebration and the staff made our night. The decor and setting is so cute. Happy hour had 95% tequila drinks, and we had the quesadilla, nachos, and ceviche, all were good.
Wow, just wow! So glad we saw a recommendation for this place. We were lucky to come for happy hour. What a deal! We got to try three amazing dishes and really strong drink. I thought everyone was scrimping on alcohol at happy hour, not Felix! Really great drinks and food. Desserts! Loved the outside space, cozy and fun! Jake was an amazing waiter, all his recommendations were spot on! So glad we found this spot, can't wait to come again. We tried the nachos with protein, quesadillas with steak, margaritas both traditional and Mango. The my neighbor tai cocktail. Tres leches and churros! Really, really good stuff!
Neighbor Felix was incredible. The entire restaurant was transformed into a festive pop-up bar and restaurant, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. From the holiday décor to the warm energy in the room, everything felt intentional and welcoming. The food was fantastic, and the service was great from start to finish. A fun, memorable experience—I’ll definitely be back.
We came here for a rare night out with 3 kids under 4 years old. It was a risk going to a new place with kids, but we were well taken care of by Jaric. He was on top of our (many) needs and expedited our check and to-go box when he saw the kids getting antsy. The food and drinks were delicious! We will definitely be coming back and asking for Jaric.
Great place to go, I went for valentines and we had a great time, the food is very good, service was fantastic and the place is amazing.
What a fun experience! The food was delicious, and between Denver Restaurant Week and Happy Hour, we were able to try a lot of different options! The guac, skirt steak, and tacos were our favorites. The chips were unique, with a little bit of sweetness. The corn was also quite tasty, but be prepared to get a little messy. We loved sitting up in the top area by all the beautiful light fixtures. Even if you have a fear of heights, the area is tastefully done so that you feel safe and can enjoy looking out the windows and over the balcony! We plan to invite family and friends to come eat here with us in the future!
In few words: Above & Beyond! In long, if you want to be served by Models that look like they just got out of a luxury Magazine, experience a sweet luxurious environment, and savor delicious dishes & healthy drinks , then this place is the right place! Even a simple breakfast item such as the omelet was served with all organic ingredients and whole grain bread, along with their Horchata sweet drink , exceeding all expectations! The staff were very sweet to our group, from the manager to the waiting staff making us feel right at home ! A must-see venue for sure!
It's my first visit to this location in Centennial. I love how convenient it is to get to. This location is gorgeous, very spacious and green. There's plenty of seating, upstairs and patio. Definitely love the vibe. We ordered their giant mimosas where you can share with five people. It came out quick and it is delicious. Best mimosa yet! Highly recommend if you have a large party. I ordered their steak and eggs. The serving size was pretty decent where I could have shared with another person. Everything we had were delicious. Our waiter Gio was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable on drinks and food. And gave us really great recommendations on tequila. Try to get seated in his section if he's working. He won't disappoint.
This place was definitely different. It was pretty neat and an experience. We had drinks I never had heard of and our meal was based on proteins. The dinner came out still steaming and fed 4 of us. Kind of expensive for our wallet but we had fun trying something new. It was packed so we had to make a reservation.
This was a cool place to visit on Friday evening. Super, super busy but we were seated. The food is super fresh, and Shawn was an awesome server. Their churros and dip...mmmmmm...sooo 👍 👍 We had family platters, and decent prices for this fancy place. It's a cool design inside, I think they did a good job. It's nice place to take your guest to😉
The queso was really good. The ambiance was top notch and our server was great! Definitely recommend coming here from some tasty food at very reasonable prices.
This place is quite beautiful inside. Larfe tables to accommodate my large family. The service was superb! We enjoyed the food we all got. Hibiscus chips and salsas were delicious and pretty. My market salad was stacked with yummy stuff, not just lettuce. There's a full bar with some tasty drinks on the menu. The kids' menu was well received and includes churros as dessert. We will definitely be back.
For starters, Luis, our server was amazing. He was incredibly attentive and made our dining experience fun. We sat outside in their patio area which is spacious and shaded perfectly in the afternoon. The renovations to the building maintained a lot of the historic appearance from the previous restaurant in place. We ordered the chips and guacamole which were delicious. I ended up ordering their steak which came with a perfectly cooked as I had requested it. The plating was really nice and these guys found a way to make a burrito look fancy. Overall the atmosphere was fun and all of the support staff were great. We look forward to returning in the future.
The food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend the lobster and shrimp enchiladas. The portions don't look overwhelming. However, the flavor was absolutely divine. Our Server Matt was so amazing, helpful, and was able to get to know us briefly. This location is stellar, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wondering how to have a great time with something amazing to eat. We went on opening night, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. I can't wait to come back after everything has been more established. Just the atmosphere and service are worth spending a few moments at the bar or in the lounge area. You have to go to My Neighbor Felix, or you will be missing out on the best experience you have ever had.
Great experience, great for large group. Food took awhile, but was hot and fresh.
The birria tacos were my favorite! Perfect portion and taste. We also had the chorizo tacos, they were pretty good, but I expected something more spicy. The beef enchiladas were delicious, and I personally loved the cherry tomatoes on top. Service was great! Thanks for everything.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Favorite Restaurant when Visiting Denver! We recently visited our neighbor Felix’s restaurant, and I can confidently say it’s an absolute gem. Living in San Diego, we’re surrounded by incredible Mexican food, so when I say these are the best tacos we’ve ever had, that truly says something. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted—taco perfection. Our experience was made even better thanks to our amazing server, Steve, who was exceptionally attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great meal. He offered wonderful recommendations and made us feel completely taken care of. We also appreciated the thoughtful attention from Cody, the manager, who stopped by our table to check on our experience and ensure everything was just right. That extra touch of hospitality goes a long way. We loved it some much we went back a second night. Between Felix’s incredible food, Steve’s standout service, and Cody’s attentive management, this restaurant has officially become one of our favorite spots. If you haven’t been yet—go. You’re in for something truly special! 🌮✨
I visited My Neighbor Felix with a couple of friends, and overall it was a really nice experience. The appetizers were tasty and looked great when they came out — definitely a strong point of the place. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, which made it easy to sit, talk, and enjoy the evening. I tried a few different margaritas from the menu, and they were all solid and enjoyable. It’s definitely a spot worth checking out. It isn’t cheap, but the quality almost justifies the price.
This is a pretty cool place for date night or friends gathering. Very cool interior design decorated very artfully The food was good Mexican contemporary. If you’re looking for traditional Mexican, it’s close to it But a little Americanized We started with the chips and salsa with guacamole. Guacamole was good. Not too spicy. I like my guacamole spicy, but this was good. We all have different variations of tacos. I had the arabe taco which were delicious. The others enjoyed the tacos also. You get three tacos you get a side of beans and rice if you want. For dessert, we had the donut holes sprinkled, and sugar with three different types of sauces, chocolate caramel and horchata cream- which was amazing Service was good. The place was crowded at seven when we arrived and when we departed at about 845 it was fairly done. I think it’s a big happy hour Place, but all the tables were full. The boots seats were nice around the bar. We had a 7 o’clock reservation and arrived 15 minutes early and we got our table about 715. Great selection Of tequilas in which I truly enjoy Highly recommended if you’re in the area
Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! We stopped here after landing from a 3 hour flight from Atlanta and wanted something close by to eat. This place was recommended and it was great. Our waiter, Steve, gave Great suggestions for food and drinks. His suggestions were on point! The margaritas were very good. Good selection of Mexican foods. Some choices that were very creative. A must if you're in the area! I plan on returning before we head back to Atlanta.
I’ve been coming to My Neighbor Felix for a while now, and what keeps me coming back is the consistent service that Lauren and Conner give. I had not been in for a few months, and when I came back recently Lauren still had my order memorized and went above and beyond to help my very picky son find something he would enjoy (Birria tacos with no spicy salsa but add some cheese… yum!) She even suggested a margarita for me, the coin I believe, that is not on the menu but was FANTASTIC. When Lauren is not here we sit at the bar with Conner and he does an awesome job too. One thing I will say is the cheesy potatoes you can get at brunch are not very cheesy, which is disappointing.
We had dinner at the Centennial location tonight and it was OUTSTANDING! Impeccable service, great food with healthy portions that weren't overpriced, great cocktails and lots of great energy! It is the Christmas season so the noise level was elevated but not so much that we couldn't hear each other! This place is GREAT! GET THERE!
Great spot for some Mexican food. Street corn appetizer was very good. Mixed drinks were also on point. Steak fajitas seemed a bit tough to chew through, chicken fajitas were good. Was there for business dinner, will revisit for another try in the future. Great atmosphere and ambiance, seems like a great spot to mingle around the bar.
My boyfriend and I stopped by My Neighbor Felix the other night for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, and we had the best experience thanks to Rachel. Rachel was funny, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating from the moment we sat down. She had such a great sense of timing and was amazing at anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. It really made the whole evening feel effortless and special. We made it in time for happy hour and absolutely loved our margaritas, they’re huge! But still delicious and perfectly balanced. Between the great drinks, amazing food, (We had the Skirt Steak and LOVED IT) and outstanding service, we had a wonderful evening!
Wow!! What a wonderful place! Atmosphere, staff and the food is amazing! Our server Rachel was the best server my wife and I have had our opinion ever! We have been to dinner at many restaurants in many places, Rachel is the best by far. Rachel was welcoming, attentive, respectful, polite and very helpful! She and your restaurant made our valentines date an experience, and a great memory we will always remember. Thank you Rachel and thank you Nathan and all the staff! We highly recommend and will be returning!
An Unforgettable Evening with Exceptional Service! My Neighbor Felix isn't just a dinner-it's a vibrant experience. Our visit was nothing short of fantastic, from the buzzing, inviting atmosphere to the last delicious bite. The menu is full of inventive twists, but one item is an absolute must: the Grilled Corn Ribs. This dish is a revelation. Smoky, perfectly charred, and slathered in a creamy, tangy sauce with a hint of spice, it transformed a humble ingredient into the star of our meal. We ordered a second round! While the food alone would warrant a return visit, what truly elevated our night was our server, Bee. Attentive without being intrusive, Bee guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and expert knowledge. Her timing was impeccable, her recommendations were spot-on, and her warm, engaging presence made us feel like valued guests. It's this level of personalized, passionate service that turns a great meal into a memorable one. From the innovative flavors to the electric vibe and topped with truly standout hospitality from Bee, My Neighbor Felix delivered on every front. We'll be back soon--and we'll definitely be asking for Bee's section. Highly, highly recommend!
Great atmosphere with great ambiance. A group table suitable for 10 for special occasions is under one of their many eclectic chandeliers. We were greeted by the hostess to whom we expressed how excited we were to try the place for the first time. The food was outstanding! we had the, Conchinita Burrito, Shrimp Tacos, followed by their totally mouthwatering cheesecake! Everything was delicious.
We recently hosted a corporate event at My Neighbor Felix in Centennial and had a fantastic experience. Cameron and Brett were outstanding, attentive, professional, and kept everything running seamlessly. The management team was easy to work with, contracts were straightforward, and communication was clear throughout the planning process. The AV equipment worked perfectly and the food was hot and served right on time. Highly recommend for corporate or private events.
Probably one of the best meals we have had since moving to Denver. The chicken and risotto was delicious and the cheesecake was to die for. We also tried a few of the holiday beverages that were apart of the Feliz Navidad pop up and those were also yummy. Our server was awesome, very nice and was so great to our 5 year old. I wish I remembered his name to give him proper credit. This place is a 10/10 and I will be going back.
It's a beautiful restaurant! We had spectacular service. One of the waitresses even noticed we were at a small table for our group size and moved us to a much larger booth so we were comfortable. Totally impressed. The wait staff seemed to work together to make sure everyone was happy!
Happy hour drinks were delicious. Server wasn't very knowledgeable and kinda of argued about what had been on the menu previously, then was scarce once he was proven wrong. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back.
The Centennial location of My Neighbor Felix is HUGE compare to LoHi (notably, it's also where a scene in the Denver season of Love is Blind was filmed). Taco Tuesday is deal, with a variety of non-house margaritas to choose from (I had the watermelon one, and it was great!)
Overall it was a nice experience, our server was attentive and drinks came quickly. The happy hour margaritas were pretty tasty. Happy hour food portions were kinda small but I think they were going with a tapas vibe. The happy hour nachos were huge, I'm curious how big the full size would be! The food was pretty good, but not anything special, in fact was pretty pricey. You should share the sopapilla cheesecake though, it's delicious! Deco, atmosphere and drinks are what you're looking for here. I'd visit again!
I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant! The atmosphere was fun and vibrant and inviting. There was plenty of seating. We didn't have to wait and it seemed very busy. All of the staff and service was very attentive and quick. And the food came out very quickly. Everything was very tasty and flavored. Well. I would say that this is a Latin fusion restaurant, not traditional Mexican. The only thing that didn't give it five stars was that our drinks were not the best. My husband ordered a margarita that came out very tart and sour. I'm not sure if it was a pre-made mix but it was not great. My margarita was okay. It was a peach one. The flavor was good but it didn't seem like it had very much alcohol in it. Overall, it was fun to go to this restaurant and I would invite more people back and maybe just order something different for a drink.
I’ve never been told that we had to be done with our meal by a certain time before. We came in last night and the hostess told us we would have to be gone by 6:30pm because they had reservations booked for later. Made me feel rushed. Wish our waiter had come by a few more times to refill our waters. Food was amazing though! Cute interior, but the music was a little too loud for my liking.
Early dinner on a Saturday evening work friends from the area who chose this place as we visited from Philadelphia. Great choice! Food and drinks were good, service was attentive, and we had a nice time reconnecting with faraway friends.
My husband and I decided to try this place tonight after driving by it many times. The food and drinks were amazing! However, the atmosphere was a bit too loud for us, and the service was very slow. We had to ask for water refills twice. At the end of the meal, there was a 2.5% kitchen surcharge, which is becoming more common but still mildly annoying. Additionally, there was a 2% credit card fee, which, while not a huge amount, felt a bit deceptive.
Ate dinner at this restaurant last week. Shrinkflation has hit this restaurant since our last visit two years ago. Portions were small, no sides included. Service was bleh - passable but not overwhelming. Nice atmosphere but overpriced for what we got.
We had a wonderful server and the vibe was nice. I can see why it's so popular. Coming from a foodie perspective, the portions are small and I would assume premade. Feels slapped together and then delivered to your table. We had the salsa trio, the chips were very good (hibiscus flavor), however, the salsa is in tall dishes and barely filled. To get some salsa I was already scraping the bottom. I got the flat iron burrito, it was cut into 4 and displayed upright. It was difficult to eat, even with a fork. I would skip this spot
Very expensive for Mexican food. Very different and somewhat niche style food. They had a gluten free desert but only if you purchase the special holiday meal. Much better Mexican menus available at other places.
Great food and service... but man... I feel like I just got bamboozled by the prices here. To start, having people pay $7 for chips and salsa in a mexican restaurant is just unorthodox. Got the "Lunch Special" $14 per item an extra $4 upcharge on the Arabe tacos which I got with rice and beans, you get 2 tacos with the lunch special... but wait... my party outside of myself order the arabe tacos off the main menu and they got 3 tacos and a side of rice for $15... The math ain't mathing on the lunch menu. On top of that, I guess I misread the drink specials, drinks are not half priced during lunch so I just felt like I got robbed overrall. Staff and food was amazing but man... for that sticker price just for lunch?? Not worth it in my opinion.
** Second Chance Update ** Food tasted Good, but again terrible service. Even worse then the first time. When I have an empty glass of Ice tea and ask for a refill I do not expect my waiter to say "I did already" and point at the water. Well... I wouldn't be drinking the water if my Ice tea was filled. He did not check on us very often. Once he dropped off the food he did a quick "everyone ok" and then disappeared while I am waiting for a steak knife to cut my pork chop. Luckily I am strong enough I was able to eat half it using a butter knife until he came back around. Overall what food you do get does taste good. I might recommend maybe sitting at the bar so you don't have to deal with some of the staff. I will not come out of my way to eat here again. Only if invited by friend etc... I really wanted to give it five stars but they definitely had some short comings. The environment is nice and place was very clean. We got seated right away but sat there for a little bit before our waiter came over to help us. I ordered the the Fundido as an appetizer and it was okay, but it did not have the nice flavor I expected. Just a small pan of cheese. It was the good cheese you want but was lacking some flavor. Jalapenos where nice though. (If a manger is reading this: I would recommend a small amount of chorizo added and it would be perfect). Now I asked my waiter between two dishes and he recommended the Pollo Rostizado for only him to come back and say they where all out of that. Huge let down. The other food we ordered was very delicious! After we ate our meals and waited a bit for him to come over we decided to try a desert. The Tres leche. It was amazing but.... the kitchen took forever to get it to us. I saw our waiter go to talk to the manager and then the manager went in back to only bring out our desert. Not sure what the waiter and back of house drama is but it seems like it caused a delay in our delivery of food. My wife ordered the bloody marry and I went and tried tried the Strawberry Water. Both where great. One thing I saw and not sure if its normal, our waiter was also the bartender. Overall I would come back and give them another try as the food we did get was delicious.
The hostess was pleasant... other than that horrible service. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged... After a waitress looked at us 5 times she came over and told that our server was busy. I am not sure what the issue was but very unprofessional. We went 2 minutes away to Maggiano's... EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!
Phew — what a disappointment. Not sure what all the hype is about. We came here to celebrate a birthday today and definitely won’t be returning. The corn and guac appetizers were good, and the birthday dessert donuts were a nice touch. Unfortunately, the main courses completely missed the mark. I ordered the steak fajitas — the sauce they were cooked in was awful, the meat had a lot of fatty pieces, the salsas were bland, and the rice was flavorless. The beans were just okay. To top it off, our waitress was extremely slow, and this was on a Monday night. For the price, the food and service were far from worth it. Honestly, next time I’d rather wait 40 minutes for a table at Sierra.
If you are looking for a good aesthetic spot for your instagram, this is it! It’s so cute and the atmosphere is really nice. If you are looking for good food and quality service. This is not it. We have been here on a date and as a group and it was terrible. The “chorizo” was just over season ground beef. The Chilaquiles was awful. The bagels were stale and old. The drinks are super strong so you can’t taste how bad the food really is. The food was ice cold. We share an entree, got a side and 2 drinks. They added gratuity and add an extra 2 dollars. We have been here twice and the only thing you expect are picture perfect, ice cold, unflavored food. Totally not worth it. Go to Los Dos Portillo’s instead.
