Cork gets a 🌟for their Restaurant Week lunch. Wonderful selection at a great price. Finally got to try the crab bisque, which was decadently rich and perfectly seasoned. Although a bit light on the aioli and heavy on the onions for my taste, the delicious burger featured tangy pickles and iceberg lettuce (because really, you want that sweet crunch). Fries were crisply amazing, darn it—I ate every one. Creme brûlée flecked with vanilla bean provided a lovely finish. Great service by Gideon, even the music was good. Couldn’t ask for more.

My wife and I visited on 10/8/25. The dining and bar areas have a great vibe, and the service was outstanding. I had the Prosciutto wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Apple Chutney, Pomegranate Glaze, and Parsnip Puree. My wife had the Maple Glazed Aukura Island Salmon with Parmesan Risotto. Both dishes were excellent. We chose to accompany our dinners with a couple of glasses of wine, they serve one of our favorites. It was my birthday and the server brough us out a Creme Brulee with a sparkler in it for dessert, which was a nice surprise. This is a common stop for us for brunch at the bar; however, it was only our second time (the first was a very long time ago) visiting for dinner. We were impressed with the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food. Looking forward to our next visit in the near future.

My go-to place, maybe the BEST steakhouse in Erie. And they are no longer SLOW and truly impress me. Though I still miss the American steak house who just filled bankruptcy in March. They are better in dry aged flavor, less juicy, just dry and decent like my favorite restaurant in Philly Barclay prime. But since it is no more. Cork is my favorite now. Lol I don't think I would visit here very often though. They have a bigger portion than Americans. It can more than 1000 calories, a truly luxury to me. I need to diet first and come to enjoy. They forget to bring a pen for tips. But I will comeback I would tip for sure. But please remember it, cuz some folks may just skip it. 😂 Last thing, I think $100 is a little expensive for a lunch. Hopefully they would also offer lunch steak like American do. I am good with $50-60 a lunch meal. If they do, I would come like 2-3 times a week. 😂 But they are good. Thanks. Now I need to do some exercises trying to lose this extra calories. Love this place, they do not forbid me to dine in as I never dress up. 😂. Jansport, sneakers and a tablet, I am that type of weirdo among all folks who wear heels and suits. Love their Delmonico and ribeye. Hopefully Cork would do Doordash soon, I would immediately order from cork instead of the firebird. (They price pretty much the same, $50 for a good lunch is acceptable, and a good reason to spend extra hours in gym. ) Visit again and love their cow boy series and stiletto cocktail. Fortunately they no longer ask me for ID. Yep, I am an old sport. A 30yrs old man. Hah

We love love love the Cork and all of the amazing staff that work there, especially the bartenders. Great food and nice atmosphere. Many good memories here. I have attached a number of photos from lunches, dinners and brunch from over the years.

We had an excellent meal by any and all standards. Solid 5 stars for food and service. The atmosphere decor is modern and upscale. But as many other reviewers noted, the noise level is high. I measured 100 Db, same as a motorcycle. But it was clear the Management had taken steps to deadening noise. Carpets, sound baffles on the ceiling, fabric wall covering. But it was still so loud that conversation was difficult and I couldn't make out what the server said. We had reservations and were immediately seated. It took a moment for the server to come but when she did she was friendly and professional. The menu was relatively small but contained a lot of detail. Prices were high, $35-45 for most entrees. We selected a variety of items, jambalaya, scallops, burgers. Having a Kids Menu was a nice touch. We had two young people 10 & 6with us and they were comfortable and welcomed. The touch screen devices to keep kids occupied were a great idea. The food came in short order and at first glance the portion seemed small. But the dishes were deep and the portion was very good. My jambalaya was excellent. Flavorful with lots of chicken, sausage and shrimp. The scallops got rave reviews. We didn't see much of the servers. No refills, bread or dinner rolls offered. One detail that I really liked was the heavy, substantial flatware. No hollow pressed junk. This was substantial which added gravitas to the meal. We really enjoyed the meal. And given the tab, that is a good thing. I would jump at the opportunity to go back to The Cork as long as I can convince someone else to pickup the tab.

#flavafulltv approved experience for #vegetarian food. The best restaurant in Erie, PA for service, atmosphere and cocktails. Vegetarian side dishes. Usually only 1 seasonal vegetarian entree. Consistently, the service at the bar is welcoming, friendly and equal- no matter what race or income level that you are. Maggie was a standout bartender/server. Food prices are elevated. Yet, the $8-10 happy hour can offset the $25-60 entrees and $14 drinks. If they make a mistake or you're unsatisfied- they fix it with no attitude! This sets them apart. Pro tip: earn/redeem points for every transaction. Not common to earn points at an establishment with this price point. Very clean!! The bartenders sanitize the barback area and I've never had a dirty glass or utensil. The menu rotates seasonally. Select bartenders are actually mixologists, so no "juice and liquor stirred in a glass-" they pride themselves on tailoring your drink. The music ranges from 90s hip hop/pop, 70s r&B, neo soul, straight jazz, to light rock/country. Read the books and magazines in the front. A well balanced astmopshere of watching sports, communing with coworkers or dining for a date.

Great atmosphere and service. Bartenders and managers make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Their menu adds new options and drinks every season so you’re not just looking at the same options every-time you go.

Food and drinks were excellent, one of the best places to eat in erie! Steak on the salt block was interesting and surprisingly flavorful. It was busy when i arrived, but it didn't take long to get a table, and the outside section was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

While visiting Erie, I was looking for a place to get a really good meal and Google Contributions helped me find The Cork 1794 and I am so glad it did! I could tell from the reviews and the menu that I would enjoy this place and it did not disappoint, in fact, went above and beyond my expectations. Starting with the decor, I was really impressed with the eclectic variety as well as the incorporations of cork on bar stools and the wall as well as the floor. The bathroom really blew me away with its wallpaper and flower floor. The outdoor area was pretty fantastic, featuring fireplaces, TVs, a variety of shade and other details pleasing to the eye. We ate inside and they feature a variety of seating both indoors and out. Now to the highlight, which was our meal. I went with a variety of appetizers and a side while my SO got the Reddy chicken sandwich. Everything was delectable! Our appetizers were a cubed blackened New York strip with a cilantro hollandaise, pickled onions and jalapenos, Philly cheese steak egg rolls with an aged cheddar fondue, and my side was an au gratin potatoes with cheese and horseradish sauce and the crab bisque. While everything was amazing, the crab bisque was above and beyond, it was just an explosion of flavors! The staff was very friendly and professional and you could tell that this place operated like a well-oiled machine. They feature live music on the weekends and a beautiful player piano where you first walk in. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back another time!

We love the food and the atmosphere here! Especially love the shrimp appetizer. So good. We also like to just come and have a few drinks at the bar. They always have delicious seasonal specialties and the bartenders are attentive without being over bearing. We particularly appreciate when Katie or Devon are working. They make great drinks and give friendly service.

I went with my daughter around 2pm. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and she ordered the a rib eye and mac n cheese. I also ordered a spinach and artichoke appetizer. Everything was so tasty. I liked the quiet atmosphere and the music choice. Very clean restaurant. Gideon was our server. He was so polite, friendly and quick. The whole experience was lovely.

I sat at the bar and everything was top notch from beginning to end. The bartenders were attentive and friendly without being bothersome, and made great recommendations. I got the shrimp appetizer, which is a must always, and it was delicious. My juicy ribeye was cooked to perfection and my lobster tail was buttery and tender. The cocktails I had were both a great addition to my meal and a vanilla creme brûlée to finish sealed the deal. I absolutely have to mention that the live band, Danny and the Daddios, was a perfect touch to my experience. Will absolutely be back!! Thank you

My husband and I went on a much needed date for lunch today. Our server, Gideon, went over and above. He made it such a great experience for us. Our appetizer, the spinach artichoke dip, was amazing. I got a wagyu burger on sourdough that was a 10/10…definitely the best burger I’ve ever had. It’s been a while since we’ve dined at the cork, but we will most definitely be returning!

Just came from the Brunch with a Princess. PJ was awesome! Very attentive to every table she waited on, not just our's. Exchange our princess drinks for our daughters because they didn't taste right. The spare rib grill cheese was AMAZING, which PJ also recommended. Overall.... magical experience with a couple Disney princesses.

The food was amazing! We were a little bummed at first cause they told us lunch serving will start at 3 PM, and I was really set on trying their lunch menu instead of the breakfast/brunch options. But honestly, the brunch quantity and quality totally surprised me – in a good way! I lovvved the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Didn’t like the taste of rib of The Short Rib Grilled Cheese. I also think the interior’s design was cook; it definitely seems like a nice spot for lunch!

Most likely one of the upper-class frequented as the food and atmosphere is one of the best in town. However, I did go every weekend for a month to order the tacos and bloody mary at the bar. I noticed the food being slightly inconsistent and better sometimes than others or arranged differently. Excellent service and people surrounding you.

We travel over an hour to get to Erie. And have been to Cork 1794 5 or 6 other times and it's always been a 5 star place. I used to look forward to coming here. Something changed and it's not the same. Place was not as busy as it should have been a few days before Christmas and maybe this is why. Today I'm hard pressed to give it a 3 star. It's Not the same as it once was. Not the same quality, not the same level of Chefs in the kitchen, plate presentation is none existent. A medium rare steak that was very rare and medium Stew that was a medium rare and medium Steak that was overcooked it was well done. That one was sent back to the kitchen and when it was returned to the table it was still barely a passable medium. Plus the kitchen seasoned it such a way that it was completely unenjoyable. Brie appetizer with the Puff pastry was burnt and the cheese has all but baked away. Mac and cheese was extremely bland and they did not include the bacon. French fries for a steak frittes were over cooked. Wedge salad wasn't as enjoyable as it once was either. Calamari was still good an the bang bang shrimp . Great cocktails, mocktails and wine. I hope this was a fluke and it rebounds to the place it once was.

We had a 6:15 pm reservation for 7 people. We weren't sat until 6:50 pm. The manager apologized for the wait and said they'd comp our appetizers which we appreciated. We ordered and the appetizers came out after an appropriate amount of time, but after the appetizers were cleared, our salads and soups didn't come out for another 30+ minutes. And then we waited another hour+ for our entrees. There was no explanation for the delay. We watched people who were sat after us be served their meals and finish eating before we were served our entrees. Some of the entrees came out hot, some came out luke warm. The risotto was undercooked and the gnocci were more like dumplings. Other disappointments were the lack of bread even though there's pasta on the menu and a lack of brandy at the bar. We didn't finish dinner until 9pm (6:15 pm reservation!). At one point, while waiting for the entrees, we talked about leaving and we wish we would have because the appetizers were the best part of the night. There was no additional compensation for the poor service.

We unfortunately had a disappointing experience overall. The crab cake appetizer was actually very good and was the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was only somewhat comfortable — it was quite loud from surrounding conversations, and the bench seating we had was not cushioned, which made it uncomfortable to sit for a full meal. For the entrées, my partner ordered a pasta dish that arrived with cold ricotta cheese on top, which was very off-putting. I had the shrimp scampi. While the shrimp were very large, they had very little flavor. The pasta itself was bland, with very little garlic butter and not much taste overall. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate chip cookie, which was good and worked well as a take-home treat. One other thing we found odd was that our table wasn’t cleared of earlier dishes until dessert arrived. Overall, this was not the experience we expected, especially for the price, and we likely wouldn’t return.

I really don’t know what to say about this place. Terrible isn’t even enough of a word to describe it. From a service standpoint, everyone was kind and friendly, but for a higher end restaurant that’s the least of expectations. For starters, after we were sat and drinks were served, we waited 20 minutes for the somebody to come collect our orders. You would think a $48 steak would at least come out hot? No, luke warm at best, with steaks around the table all overcooked. Soups never came out till the end of the meal, and the only thing even halfway decent was the appetizers. Soups? They said they no longer had what we ordered….found the ingredients miraculously in the back, only for it to be bland and cold. We had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for the steaks to be recooked and for soups to be reheated. What a joke of a restaurant, and what’s even funnier is their prices, I seriously do NOT recommend this place. Money hungry, terrible food quality, and even worse cooks. You’d get better steak at a Texas Roadhouse.
