I really miss the original fish and chips Verf’s had. The jicama was delish!!!! Also the homemade tartar sauce was amazing. Now it just plain stinks. I will not order it at all. It’s so disappointing. Bring back to original fish and chips PLEASE! The wonton tacos were fantastic too. I’d love to see those return.

Jose was our server. He was fantastic. Juan came over and said hello to us even though he was on our server. I hadn’t had the roast beef in several years. I ordered it again and it was exactly as the same as before. My husband said that his salmon was delicious. Verfs never lets us down

We recently had a birthday dinner at Verf’s, and the experience was beyond excellent. Our server, Madison, was the best I’ve had in years. She anticipated our needs and was attentive, but not overbearing. The meals, where do I start? First, “The Bread” is a must order appetizer. We also ordered the bayou basket, and sheet pan loaded nachos. Both were large enough for the group of six to share, and were delicious. The entrees were outstanding, and every person in our party was pleased with their choice. You definitely want to try the pork chop schnitzel. The portion size was huge, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. It made me think I was back in Germany! We also recommend the salmon, which was moist and cooked to perfection. You definitely want to leave room for one of the great desserts, especially the Chocolate Eruption Cake. Finally, there’s an extensive drink menu, and we enjoyed the $5.00 Old Fashioned. This was our first visit, but certainly won’t be our last.

Verf's was great and we will definitely be back. We made a reservation for Father's Day and we were seated quickly and they even handled a request to change tables with grace and ease. The service was just the right amount of attentiveness without making us feel rushed. Everyone was friendly, and seemed to like being there. We all ordered something different and the food was delicious, but the chicken and waffles is out of this world, one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it.

I was so glad I found Verf's. It is a very welcoming and chill place with excellent service. I had the salmon boats, which were made with fresh lettuce, avocado, and perfectly grilled salmon. I topped off my meal with a strawberry cake, which was so delicious and presented well! I will be back!

Brunch crowd was great . Atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. The Shrimp and Grits was delicious, they forgot to give me the sauce for the grits and brought it out midway, but I actually preferred the grits without it. April my waitress was great as well! The experience from walking in the door to paying the ticket was a great one! Oh and this light fixture😍

Definitely give them a try! Our server (Jose) was very professional and attentive. 👨‍🍳 He also did a great job recommending menu items. The salmon and ribeye were cooked to perfection! 🐟🥩 The calamari is officially in the top 3 best we've tasted, lots of flavor! We also tried the strawberry cake (🤌) The potatoes were really oily and could've been cooked a little longer. 🥔 The portion sizes were kind of small. 📏 Really chill atmosphere. Plenty of parking available. 🅿️

The best part of this restaurant is the service we receive. From the hostess that always greets us, to Juan our server, who is one of the best servers we have met in all of Texas. The management team also comes by each table and takes the time to chat us up, and makes our entire experience enjoyable. We love their daily specials, and their drinks and desserts are always top notch.

Verf's has quickly become one of our favorite dinner spots, I highly recommend this hidden gem. Last night I enjoyed the steak (with brie) & shrimp. My wife ordered the pork chop schnitzel. Having worked at german restaurants in the past, I thoroughly enjoyed their take on schnitzel. Haven't tried it yet, but their Sunday brunch looks amazing. Our server Bryce did a marvelous job too!

Breyer was our server and he was EXCELLENT! He was attentive to our needs, provided good recommendations, and provided consistent updates and checked on us through the evening. His service was top tier! The food was better than I anticipated, and everything was on point. We also had the best hush puppies we've ever had in Texas.

Tried Verf's Grill and Tavern for the first time. Walking in was greeting very quickly and seated. Nice setup with a large bar. Lots of TVs for viewing. Had sports and news on which i liked for the lunch tine. Menu seems to have lots of choices. I went with the fish and chips. When served, the fish was perfectly cooked, super crispy outside, and hot, fresh Cod on the inside. The fries were spectacular. Super crispy outside just the way you want them. Everything was really good. The portion size was great, people suoer nice. It's just a great little spot to eat lunch. Was also served with hushpuppies that were delicious as well. Oh, and if I didn't say the fries, may be the best in town. I'll be back, and next time, I'm bringing the family for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

Great restaurant in Flower Mound! Didn’t take too many pics here but I got the important ones. I ordered the pecan avocado chicken and added bacon shrimp. It was soooo good. The potatoes, asparagus, all of it. Chefs kiss! The place was clean, had a big bar, and great staff. And they had pineapple ace! You can’t go wrong here. Can’t wait to come back!

We went here after an afternoon of an escape room adventure. The food and service were great. Seima was our server. She was pleasant, prompt, attentive and knowledgeable about menu items. Everything we tried was hot, fresh and delicious. For starters we had a variety including "The Bread", Calamari & Buffalo popcorn shrimp and Surf & turf nachos. I had the Verf's Chicken enchilada. It was fresh, hot and tasty. A new favorite! I will certainly be back!

We have always enjoyed this restaurant because of thd great food, great service, buttoning our meal was ruined because we had to listen to the female bartender speaking no stop Spanish to two men at the bar. She wasn't paying attention to anyone else sitting at the bar, we could see her from our table. We were affended by the lack of management oversight that allowed this to go on and didn't stop her from consistently talking loud and in a different language that most of the customers couldn't understand. I have friends that speak German, Spanish and one that even speaks French, they have all said that the biggest reason to talk only in another language when in public is so that most people won't know what they are saying. She is at work and should be more cognizant of what your customers might think.
