Saigon Performing Arts Center is known for its chicken pho, especially the dark meat version. Customers praise the flavorful broth and fresh ingredients. Service is inconsistent, and some report long waits or unorganized staff.
Tip: Order the dark meat chicken pho and dip it in the provided fish sauce for the best experience. Be prepared for potentially inconsistent service.

The dry pho was simple but the flavors were on point. Food tasted so fresh! Their Vietnamese appetizer that is made of rice and topped with crispy onions, garlic and shrimp was so delicious! You get your moneys worth on portions and service was friendly.
I tried their chicken pho & Banh Khot. The dark meat was tastier than the white meat, as expected. But the white meat was just ok. I wish they gave more than just 1 young chicken egg per bowl. Plenty of internal organs (liver & gizzards). Broth was clear & good, but didn’t have the pho spices. Wide fresh noodle was excellent. Portion was large. Service was quick. Banh Khot was crunchy with a taste of coconut milk, perfect. Shrimp was on the small side. Overall above average as evident by the waiting line.
Quality chicken and mild pho. I would love to go back just for the chicken! If you look up "free cage organic chicken", I am sure these chicken will show up! Oh... Noodles seem to be fresh, not dried and then reheated...but as a result, not as chewy...but very good.
This is the best Pho Ga I’ve ever had. Trust me, I’m Vietnamese so I know my Pho. Most of the bad reviews on Yelp mentions the service. Who goes to a viet restaurant for service? Lol The dark meat with the dipping sauce is perfect with the fresh noodles. The only thing missing was the chicken eggs. They said the eggs are only available on the weekends. I’ll definitely have to come back again to try it with the eggs. Eat your chicken pho at this restaurant. Thank me later.
Pho was delicious, we tried the rare steak and dark meat chicken pho. We also had the #1 on the appetizer can't remember the name but 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 will be coming back for that again you have to options we had the lemon grass and pork.
Famous for the pho ga (chicken) I have been here a few times and finally returned since prior to pandemic, yes that's way too long. It was a gray day in southern California therefore a bowl of pho was much needed. This day, the husband and I arrived around 11ish and it was already crowded; however, we got the best seat in the house (well, at least I think it's the best seat). Husband chose the bo nuong phomai - grilled beef with cheese served with salad and fries with ketchup for dipping. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I went for the pho ga dui long - leg thigh (dark meat) amd gizzards rice noodle soup. It was so good. This is made with free range chicken. Really good and lean, awesome broth, served with herbs and bean sprouts on the side. The nuoc mam dipping sauce is a must! wow! For drinks he had soda chanh (lemonade soda) and iced tea for me. and before I forget...the sound system was playing some instrumental chill music, Oasis, and Beyoncé during our visit. The music, indeed, is very important to me. It sets the mood and this selection did not overpower our conversation and also eay on our digestion :) Service was good and friendly. Parking is plentiful. Enjoy!
Dark chicken pho is the way to go. It’s the best pho ga in the area. The fish sauce they provide for dipping is heavenly. Generous with veggies and everything you need is provided at the table already. I love this place! It’s spacious too. The only thing is they charge extra on to-go orders.
I came here on a trip back home to San Diego from Santa Barbara and am glad I did. The Phở Gà Khô (Dry Chicken Phở, with Chicken Consomme and a magical dark phở sauce of unknown type or origin) is mind-blowingly awesome. I have no idea how to eat this, so I started by dipping the expertly-grilled chicken into the sticky sweet-ish side sauce provided, which was packed with umami. The sauce left quite an impression on my tongue, it was like concentrated phở. The golden chicken consomme provided was also excellent, and combined with the other wild flavors to make this dish seem almost familiar. I recommend this restaurant and the Phở Gà Khô even despite one of the workers pushing around a mop, bucket, and towel that smells terrible -- it literally smells fecal. That was my only complaint about the experience, but still not enough to keep me away in the future.
I’d have to say one of the best consistency in their food. It has great Pho ga and many other dishes that contain chicken. I tried their grilled chicken and rice dish. Pretty fire 🔥.
Good food Decent prices Service only existed when they were forced to interact with us, such as taking our order and bringing out food.

Chicken pho here is definitely one of the better ones around the area. Full of chicken flavor in the soup, and it didn't taste like msg. The chicken is free range as well.
This place is my go-to spot for pho, especially when I’m craving chicken pho. I remember when they were in their original tiny location with only a few tables and even had to build a small shack just to expand. They outgrew that space fast, and this new location makes total sense. The current spot is modern, clean, and sleek with plenty of tables, so they can actually handle the crowd now. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the broth. It’s clean, light, and incredibly fresh. You don’t walk out feeling heavy or sluggish, just satisfied. That’s hard to find with pho, and they do it right every time.

the broth is clear, not greasy, which I appreciate. But the flavor just doesn’t fully develop—it lacks that deep chicken richness and layered aromatics I expect from great phở gà. I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5. Not bad, but not crave-worthy either. Service was quick, the place was clean, and prices were fair.
Coming from a person who ears Pho every week, this place isnt bad, but definitely not my favorite. The both is good but not the best. In my opinion, the broth is lacking in favor. The chicken and meats are well cooked. Overall, it's a good place but not the best?

Noodle soup excellent Portion OK. Reasonably priced. Genuine Vietnamese flavor. Rice noodles best in Westminster.
We went to a nearest restaurant but it’s was too crowded and long wait time so we decided to eat there. Food was quick but the service was okay. In the pho has more fat then the beef and crispy rice with beef needed little bit more cooking it’s was kind of hard rubbery. Inside the restaurant was beautiful the have a nice tree inside
So I’ve been going here for a couple of times Over the past years. The pho is still good, made with free range chickens and fresh noodles. The amount of noodle have change, it’s like they cut the amount they use to give. Also, service has gotten bad. It was very unorganized, 3 different waiters asked if we already ordered, we never got our waters. I don’t think I will go back here again just because of the service. Also, I asked for an extra bowl for my child, and they brought me a dirty bowl.

I had to wait 25 minutes without food while the table next to me ordered food at the same time and was almost done eating. When I asked, the staff brought it out without a word of apology. The raw vegetables didn't seem to be washed well so I used a tissue to wipe away the dirt. My friend didn't know she had already eaten so she had to leave it unfinished and didn't dare to eat anymore. I used to enjoy eating at this restaurant but I probably won't come back.
My salted chicken was not bad, the sauce made tangy and better. My plum beverage came to the table not full so that was strange. The beef pho was okay…

The restaurant had people with multiple open tables but literally took them 10 minutes before they even walked to the front to ask people their names. By the time we seated it wasn’t even late in the day but they said their chicken was out even though we got there around 1 PM. Service was bad, the girl was rude. I’ve had their food before and it’s good, but not worth the crowd, bad service, and lack of their own food.
How do you give a 0!!! Not sure if this restaurant should still be in business!! I am sure they MUST AND NEED A HEALTH INSPECTOR TO COME ASAP!!!! THERE WAS POOP ON THE FLOOR UNDER A TABLE and CHAIRS. There was a family of ten people about to sit down for dinner, but under their table closer to the food counter ****the POOOP was under their table and chairs*****. They walked out because there was a feww big junk of POOP under their chairs and table. SOOOO GROSSS!!! We were so hungry but unfortunately was so disgusted by this, we ended up fasting tonight....
