Opinions de Honey Baked Ham Fresno
This place is a well oiled machine! Once you walk in (only one way in), a very nice employee hands you a sample of ham then guides you around the corner to the ordering line. Once it's your turn, all you have to do is let the cashier know what you want. Everything is labeled on the refrigerator doors behind them. After they box/wrap everything up for you, they will even help you to your vehicle. All the food is excellent and just the right amount. We'll definitely order again.
I ordered Thanksgiving Dinner online and picked up my meal. It was absolutely the best ham & turkey I have they eaten. All the sides were very good as well. My only suggestion would be to have a line for people who ordered online or through pickup so we wouldn't have to wait through all the non pre-orders for people who didn't plan ahead of time.
My husband and I find the sandwiches and sides one of the best and most reasonable lunches in Fresno. We enjoy them almost once a week. If we go by the store near lunch, we always stop. The help is very friendly and helpful. They treat us like family.
I havent used your facilities, but I think you should have started running ads a couple weeks ago. Why not consider adding green Ben casserole to your menu. That is often a holiday menu item.
It was amazing there were samples and the food tasted amazing definitely is a favorite the honey turkey was amazing even tho I don't like turkey that much. The turkey was originally 19.99 but we got a bigger ham (we had a 7.45 pond ham) and for making it 8 pounds they made the turkey 6 dollars cheaper it was a amazing place definitely recommend it.
Just had my ham dinner and yes it is real Smoked Ham. Store was laid out well and efficiently to move as many people as possible through, as it was Christmas time. Great line of soups available, along with some desert items.
I am 70, so grew up with Honey Baked hams at home in Southern California and at 30 Christmas holiday visits to LA after moving away for three decades. This year, our Plague year, I thought the taste and ritual of a Honey Baked ham at Easter (even though my family is tiny) would be comforting. The comfort is ongoing: in the weeks after we ate ham on fresh bagels like teenagers; I made split pea soup with a large ham bone; one small end remains for my mother’s fifteen bean soup this coming week. I was and am deeply grateful that in our New World there remain some Old World pleasures! Thank you Honey Baked team for keeping up the good work of feeding our families.
Great service, great food
O.M.G.!! They (the employee's) were Soooo Friendly as I was nearly sprinting through their door moments before they were to close for the day. . What really made me feel the happiest about spending as much as I did (was affordable and well worth it) wasn't the warm greeting I received, but the genuineness I felt in each and every one of the 5-7 employee's I enteracted with. They'll be seeing me each and every holiday from now on.. it's official, I'm now a patron for life!
The samples, the service and even the guests in line..everything was so welcoming. It was my first time walking into the store and I was well pleased. Even got instructionson how to make the prime rib. Excellent!
I have driven by this place several times and always said I needed to stop for lunch. The service is excellent and of course the treats are great very generous portions. As should be expected the ham sandwiches are the bomb and the spreads are a delight
I absolutely love the sandwiches they have! It's very welcoming, and the food is DELICIOUS!!! Try it you won't regret it!
We love everything about the Honey Baked Ham Co. weather they ship the items to us or we go to the store, it's always a pleasure. Thank you all!!!
I purchased the HoneyBaked Ham for the first time and it's the best ham I ever eated
First time here, was attended to quickly and her suggestions for what i wanted were perfect. Class act. Ill be back for more.
This place is awesome! Their deli meats and delicious and their cookies are to die for. I enjoyed eating here it’s really quiet but a good quiet, the staff are really friendly. They’re so many sandwiches to select from and selective sides to choose from, even just your basic chips. But hands down best sandwiches and deli meat store. Highly recommend to try it out and come here to enjoy their delicious sandwiches.
What a hidden gem!! Amazing food, super friendly staff (Thanks, Savvy!)! Already looking forward to to the next time!

Was at this location yesterday. Jeanette was very kind and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make my experience a very memorable one. I do remember her from the holidays. She sold me everything but the building. She is very professional, kind and attentive. I believe that she is definitely an asset to this company. Either You get it or you don't and she does. Thanks So Very Much for Always taking great care of Me whenever I visit Your location.
Ham is EXCELLENT! Tender, sweet, salty deliciousness. Turkey and sides are ok. Service is great, especially if you order ahead and pay online. They have a separate line for prepaid orders.
Ham is the best! Picked it up fo party tomorrow.
I can not say enough about our ham this year also picked up a turkey roast. That ham was the best it had been in years. Picked up a large 10lb and we ate the whole thing. Between the main meal which was great but the sandwiches in the next few days were the best ever. I think I'm going to get me another ham for valentine's day this year oh and maybe my birthday would also be a good choice.
This place has a lunch menu that has hand made sandwiches with high-quality deli meats and ingredients at a price that is very affordable. The manager there is very nice and their staff is extremely inviting and helpful.
This place just does ham so perfectly delicious. And if you haven't tried their honey baked turkey, Omg, you are missing out. This place has more than restored my craving for turkey. My best compliment I can give is that during the holiday rush, they handle the lines and pushy customers with finesse. And lastly definitely don't miss out on trying their lunch sandwiches and meals during the non-holiday and rest of the regular days.
So It had been about 20 years since I had a honey baked ham. I only ordered a quarter a ham only for two people. Unfortunately I went home this morning and ate half of it I ate some for breakfast Good thing it's only two people eating the other half of the ham so I'll still have an amazing dinner on Christmas. Thank you honey bake ham for being around after all these years that I was gone and having the same great taste as I could possibly remember.
Purchased turkey for thanksgiving. I had low expectations thinking that it would be dry but it actually had good flavor and reheated well. The only downside is cost compared to making your own, but it saves a massive amount of time.

My family orders honeybaked ham yearly it’s a tradition. We love the flavor of the ham and the glaze on top is delicious and tasty. I wish I knew about new curb side pick up they offer, it could have saved me time. I arrived at 9:00 am this morning and waited 45 minutes in line and only showed up at that time because I wanted to be early but online they have store hours posted but they are wrong and need to updated to reflect that they open early during the holidays apparently the store opens at 7:00 am during the holidays wish I had known that before hand.
Our 21pound honey baked ham was wonderful. Unfortunately the side dishes I ordered in my dinner weren't there on Tuesday when I picked up the ham on schedule.
Friendly staff. Extremely long long long line on Nov 19, 2022 at approx 11am. I reserved a ham but there was only 1 line. There should seperate line for those who reserved ahead of time.
I went to buy a honey-baked ham I bought one earlier in the week but the portion that isn't cut and is used for making soup stock what's half of the ham show me spend $90 on that ham you would expect more ham Les soup stock the person who helped me was very good what he did he offered me a ham that was cut in half so I had lot less of the backend soupstock very pleased with my visit I drove an hour and 15 minutes each way
The internet listed phone number and text number didn't work when trying to contact the store. When I went in to get my gift certificates, the clerk did a good job with the certificates, but didn't seem to care that the listed numbers weren't working. But the gift certificates were well received because many people enjoy their products.

The process even though there was a line was ok. It didn't matter if you had a reservation or not you stood in the same line so what's the point of getting a reservation? Because it is Thanksgiving I had my grand daughter with me. She is only 7 and needed the restroom. There restroom was closed and when I ask if we could use it I was told no. Unfortunately I had to get out of line and go to the Walgreens and then get back in line. If this is a business and we were a buying patron the restrooms should be available!!! That is really unacceptable!!!!!!
Obviously the ham is fab but their system leaves much to be desired. I was in a line that wrapped around the building, thru the parking lot and down the alley....not good. It was my first time there and probably my last. During the holiday anyway...
I was upset, I pre-paid for my 10 pound ham and when I get there they didn't have it. They gave me a 7 pound ham, instead, I asked I already pre-paid they should have held the one I paid for, she apologized but that didn't help, een though they refunded the difference I still was mad at Honey baked for DISSAPOINTING me on Thanksgiving. We wait all year for this and the messed up
2024 Easter went in, picked up large size spiral cut quarter size ham. On Easter Sunday afternoon unwrapped foil to get ready to serve and there was no crust covering of the crispy sweet glaze. Disappointed but the ham was still good. The staff handling the pickup orders behind the counter were very welcoming, organized and friendly.
FYI, these are frozen pre-cooked packages of food that you can easily get elsewhere for half the price. The turkey is a small/medium pre-cooked $80 turkey..serves about 6 adults. Prepaid everything but when you get there, the parking is crazy, the line is super long, there's two lines, one is reservation/walk in and one is pre-paid, and they run out of everything even if you already pre-paid your items. You will get a refunded or they can offer you whatever left they have. But it sucks to wait over 30 mins to find out stuff you paid for, is no longer available. The other part, it really irks me that I paid that much for a small turkey and still have to heat it up for 4 hrs!!! Go to costco or have VONS cook it for you, for half of what this place is selling it for. Not going to do this again. Not worth it.

Surprised by the amount of fat in the ham slices used in the sandwich. Ham was plain tasting while turkey was very flavorful in comparison. Dining area used for storage. Staff seemed inexperienced.
When we picked up our ham it was smaller than was ordered We ordered a 10 to 12 pound ham and received a 8.5 lb ham, for our first time there I'm a little disappointed. I'm sure the ham will be good but it might not be enough for the whole family Owe well guess there's always next year.
The Honey Baked Ham Company in Fresno was a complete mess. The store was so unorganized. There was products EVERYWHERE and out of place. It was like a 5 year old kid just placed the products randomly on the tables. The 35 minute wait in line was not worth the ham. The glaze wasn't even on the ham. When we opened the ham the glaze was suck to the gold foil, which was pointless because you are not able to wrap the ham back up in the foil. The price is ridiculous for the quality I received. The store was dirty. The floors where messy and needed to be swepted and mopped. The staff were not friendly and seemed to care more about what their coworkers plans were that Friday night then to care about seeing the paying customers where helped in a timely manner or that the store was presentable.
For the first time ever, the ham didn't have the crusty outside covering. Ham was good. Tried the cornbread stuffing and the scalloped potatoes. They were both horrible!!
Overpriced for the quality of ham. Used to be better. Had a coupon good for a half ham but had to buy a 9 pound ham because they said there was a minimum weight too. Not going back again.
We bought the Mac and cheese frozen, it was not sealed properly and leaked everywhere. 100$ for a 9 lb ham is outrageous. The woman who helped was really nice. The setup for Thanksgiving made me feel less than as to others that ordered online.
I bought a ham and turkey for our Christmas dinner and was very disappointed. It did not have the sugar coating over the whole top, only a little on one section, and the rest seemed way over cooked.

I'm going to be honest. On the tv they hype up store and make it look amazing and claen and delicious but that wasn't case for me and my family. The floor was dirty and the tables were sticky and gross. The drink dispenser was moldy I was shocked to see it. I ordered a ham sandwich and it was dry. The tomatoes and everything was wilted and the meat Tasted like it was left out for days. It was the worst experience I ever happened plus the workers were laughing in the back and could care less about the food they were serving. The health department needs to take a trip to honey baked ham.
The Fresno CA store is completely understaffed full well knowing they would be slammed this week. The lines are unacceptable and this will be the last year I order from this store. Which may I add I pre-order but there evidently is only one line for everyone. While waiting in what seems to be a Disney line, you are able to see the filth throughout the store and also hear the rude comments being made by workers on break as they sit in the booths as you pass by. Corporate needs to check on the management here and make some changes!
Just opened our honey baked ham to serve for Christmas and there is no honeybaked glaze on the ham! So disappointed! I could have served the same thing for a lot less if I had picked up a ham at the grocery store.
The store was filthy. The place needs a deep cleaning especially the floors in entry and waiting areas. The employees ate their lunch at a table in the waiting area in front of customers. The table was littered with a number of employee personal items. Not so professional. There was an employee with a cough who should have not been handing out hams. The employees should be wearing gloves and washing their filthy aprons. A health hazard to the customers. So disappointed with the store condition that will not return there again.
Honey Baked Ham in Fresno, CA, ruined my family's Christmas Day dinner. First of all, they didn't have all of the components that I had ordered when I went to pick it up. They said they had had a problem with a delivery that arrived ruined, so they didn't have the au gratin potatoes I had ordered. Bummer, but stuff happens. They also didn't have the 3 lb oven-baked turkey that I had ordered and PREPAID. They didn't even have people's prepaid orders assembled, which would have prevented giving somebody else my 3 lb turkey breast. Most stores will assemble customers' prepaid orders properly ahead of time. At this point they gave me a choice of taking smoked turkey (my family won't eat it), waiting around for half an hour while they ran some more turkey through the machine, or I could take 3 x 1 lb packages of oven roasted turkey slices. I took the 3 x 1 lb bags of turkey slices. However, the next piece is completely unacceptable! When we went to heat up and eat the turkey slices on Christmas Day, we found that the package that was clearly labeled as oven roasted turkey breast slices was HAM. HAM MISLABELED AS TURKEY! We opened the second package, also labeled as turkey, and it was also HAM! Fortunately, the third package was actually turkey, so at least we had something the family would eat. But mislabeling ham as turkey is unforgivable. While we're at it, the broccoli side, purchased pre-cooked and frozen, was overcooked by the company. And the macaroni and cheese side was soupy and soggy. Yuck. I will definitely not be purchasing ANYTHING from this particular store in the future. And I won't be purchasing the sides from any Honey Baked Ham store.

Booked a turkey two days before thanksgiving.Pickup was for the day after. I get there. They tell me my order was canceled they ran out of turkeys, no courtesy call email very unprofessional. That's not a way of doing business.Someone could have notified me so I can make other arrangements. They ruined our family dinner. Mind you, I already prepaid for my turkey. So they should have reserved one for me. They tell me the online does not match with their current inventory. Whose fault is that now? I'm suffering because of their negligence.
Overpriced Frozen food. It's not hot it's not ready it's cold. They forget your items they overcharge you and they don't even put any money into the place it's falling apart. Poor customer service the cashier was extremely rude. Unprofessional and unorganized. I will not return.
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Honeybaked Ham that has completely soured me on the company. What should have been a simple pickup turned into a frustrating ordeal that wasted hours of my time. I placed my order online and scheduled a pickup for 1:30 PM, thinking I was being smart by avoiding the holiday rush. How wrong I was. When I arrived at the store, I was shocked to see a line snaking around the building and down the street. Despite this ominous sign, I naively thought my online order would allow me to bypass the chaos. Inside, I spotted signs directing online orders one way and walk-ins another. Relieved, I got in the online order line. Almost immediately, a woman behind me angrily informed me that I had cut in front of her. Confused, I noticed two people on the other side of the door, including this irate customer. As I started to move behind them, a worker approached and interrogated me: "Did you just walk in?" "Yes," I replied. "Did you place an online order?" "Yes," I answered again, growing frustrated. "You need to go outside and wait in the line down the block." Incredulous, I protested that I had a scheduled 1:30 pickup time for my online order. The worker's dismissive response floored me: "So did everybody else!" This experience revealed a complete breakdown in Honeybaked's systems and customer service. What's the point of offering online ordering with pickup times if they can't honor them? The store was clearly overwhelmed and unprepared for the volume of orders. The staff seemed frazzled and unhelpful, providing no solutions or even apologies for the ridiculous wait times. To make customers with confirmed pickup times wait in a massive line defeats the entire purpose of advance ordering. It shows a blatant disregard for customers' time and a failure to properly manage their business. I'm beyond disappointed with Honeybaked Ham. Their utter lack of organization and customer service has ensured I'll never order from them again, especially during the holidays. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your holiday ham needs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
