Love the foods here! Pork & Shrimp Dumplings are really good, minced pork noodles really good, ma bo tofu really good. We enjoyed the foods here very much and will be back! :)

Literally everything here is amazing (I almost never say this). I couldn't believe it when finally trying this place… they knocked it out of the park. Broccoli 🥦 Beef, Vegetable Wonton, Vegetable Buns 🥟Vegetable Eggroll and Chocolate 🍫 Dumplings are ALL sooo tasty tasty tasty. We took it to go and it was better than a lot of other places fresh. The way it was bagged and packaged up was top notch. The customer service was very nice and we cannot find a complaint with this restaurant at all. Will be back!

Pan fried steam buns, best we found in DFW so far. Excellent. Dumplings were great, solid selection of different types. All house made, chefs in view. Great experience. Wonton soup left us unimpressed, lacked flavor as broth was a bit bland. All other dishes were perfect for us.

Kitchen Master deserves 5 stars for its truly authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Most of the dishes I tried were from the appetizer menu, and each one was a delight. The flavors are so genuine that they took me back to the restaurants I frequented in Taiwan. If you're looking for a taste of Taiwan right here, Kitchen Master is the place to go. Every bite is a nostalgic journey, and I can't recommend it enough!

This restaurant serves the most tasty Asian food I have ever eaten. The portions are more than sufficient. We ordered several dishes and shared with family. The employees were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is simple elegance.

This place is excellent! It's clean, has courteous service, and delicious/fresh food. The dumplings are top notch, my daughter gobbled up the crab Rangoon, and the lomein was delicious. Unlike some other local Chinese restaurants, the lomein was fresh and not oily/greasy. I forgot to snap a pic before we dug in😄

Great food made with quality ingredients! This is the only place my husband and I order from now. We live on the other side of Frisco, but it’s well worth the drive. Highly recommend the Crispy Tofu and Green Beans.

I would describe it as a better Din Tai Fung! Food was very good! I had 3+ orders of various soup dumplings (xiao long bao), soft fried crabs, and chili oil noodles. I might add that the oil noodles were definitely lacking flavor. I also ordered the sweet buns w/ condensed milk and chocolate dumplings, which I loved! Slightly too pricey for the amount you get, but I 100% plan to make the drive to eat there again.

As a long time lover of Kitchen Master, we had a particularly pleasant experience with Mia! She was extremely attentive and was more than willing to answer any questions we had about the menu. A lovely server and fantastic food, 10/10 would recommend. I would add a photo of the delicious food… but, it was gone FAST!

I was skeptical of authentic Chinese food available north of Lebanon Rd but surprisingly Kitchen Master not only offer authentic dishes but they are pretty good too. My favorite is their noodles. It’s chewy and al dente as if it was hand pulled. Their buns are pillowy soft with a good ratio of meat to dough. As for their dumplings, their pan fried dumplings were very good. The soup dumplings were ok. Overall great flavors and lucky to have them a bit north of the very congested Warren Pkwy area.

This came as a recommendation from a stall we visited at the Frisco Fresh Market...and we're not disappointed ! The dim sum were fresh and delicious as everyone else's review but what really stood out to us was the chili oil. It complements these dainty bites and leaves a nice tingly feeling on the palate! We will definitely come back to try the beef noodles and more XLB.

Everything was amazing! Went on a search for pork buns and we were not disappointed at all. We had sweet glazed ribs, pan fried pork buns, soup dumplings and orange chicken. Every single thing was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The kiddos loved the presentation and loved the dumplings the most. The server was new but incredibly helpful and fast. Thank you!

5 stars because our server was great & the soup dumplings were delicious. We had the truffle pork soup dumpling & pork dumpling. I personally liked the pork one more! It had more soup. The truffle pork had more meat, both were delicious. We also got spicy wontons, which were pretty good too (not spicy). I got the beef and broccoli, my fiancé got spicy beef noodles, & our friend got tso chicken. It's a lot of food for one person We also got egg drop soup ( I wasn't a big fan) and hot and sour soup. Both soups were very very thick. We also ordered some pan fried dumplings to go! I popped them in the air fryer when we got home & enjoyed them. Overall the food was good and plenty of leftovers!

The staff here is so friendly and kind. The food is always so fresh and yummy. My fiancée and I eat here literally every other day for lunch. Kacey and the staff are sooo kind that’s a big reason why we always go back. Thank you all for everything! Nothing but positive things to say and we always recommend it to our co workers and family ! I was on a mission for bao buns today and Kitchen Master delivered. We tried the Gua Bao pork belly as well as the fried pork buns. Flavor, texture, ambience and service were all great. Dalton was very attentive. Thanks for the jasmine tea! We will be back to try more menu items.

We came here in search of soup dumplings. The pork and chicken dumplings were flavored well, but could have used a little extra salt or seasoning. Fried buns were delicious! So was my husband’s basil chicken. The restaurant has very nice decor and the overall aesthetic is very pleasing. We would love to come back here and continue sampling flavors

This place has to be the best thing in Frisco. I wasn't expecting much, but was so happy to try everything. You don't find egg drop soup much anymore and I was ecstatic to have this. It qas absolutely delicious. Next was boom boom shrimp. I was hoping for a spicier taste, but it was still amazing. Crab and pork soup dumplings with a ginger type vinaigrette. I could eat so many of those, but had to enjoy the other dishes. Next was pan fried wagyu dumplings. Honeycomb pot stickers. Beef noodle soup, which you get a choice of all meat or half meat and half tendon. Beef pad Thai was a little bit of a let down. I was expecting something spicier and it tasted a bit sweet to me and threw me off, but I still ate it all. Then for dessert was chocolate dumplings, which was amazing. Honestly can't wait to go back and try other dishes. And my server Josh was amazing. He didn't even stare at me crazy for ordering all this for 2 people. He staggered the food out, so we got to enjoy everything fresh and hot. Our table faced the area where they make the dumplings and I thought that was great! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Definitely recommend!

Tonight my husband and I followed Youtuber(strictly dumpling) Mike Chen's suggestion and went to this "Kitchen Master" located in Frisco, TX. When we first went into the restaurant, it was crowded with very good business. Our first impression was that this place must have some awesome food to earn this busy crowd. Yes, it proved that we were right about it when our food came. This was indeed the best Northern Chinese wheaten food restaurants we have ever been to in Dallas. We ordered house pork soup dumplings, radish pastry, Pot stickers, beef rice noodles, and pan-fried red bean mochi. Believe it or not, all dishes were phenomenal, freshly-made, and they are SUPER tasty!! Oh, BTW, there is one thing I would like to especially point out: their amazing excellent service. Our house pork soup dumplings were somehow first came with "soup all dripped off empty from the dumplings," and I was kind of disappointed because the soup dumplings were mainly what I was there for. A soup dumpling should be full with juicy soup in it to be called a "soup dumpling." My husband saw the disappointment from my face and he waved to our waitress, and he explained this issue to her. The waitress was very friendly in communication, and she immediately reflected this to the manager. The manager came to our table and apologized to us with friendly smile and she soon replaced it with a new order of hot fresh and juicy soup dumplings. We were really pleased with this five stars service. I understand why this restaurant was fully crowed with good business. Because they offer good quality food with awesome service. I would strongly recommend everyone to come to this Kitchen Master!!! Very friendly restaurant!!

Their soup dumplings are awesome! Love how the fried rice isn't too greasy – really good. Got some other dishes too. It is kind of chilly inside, you might want to layer up.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz •••• 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: dim sum! Soup dumplings and traditional Chinese dishes. 🍒 THE VIBE: modern and family friendly casual! 🍒 PRICE: $120 + $30 tip 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 - I love searching for some good dim sum restaurants around DFW to fulfill my need for Din Tai Fung (ugh wish they were in Texas). And while none of them won’t beat DTF, they are pretty good in their own way! Wu Wei Din and Kirin Court are great but add Kitchen Master to your list too! - You can skip out on the rangoons! They were just plain old rangoons but tbh I don’t really like crab rangoons in general but I still eat them if they’re there. - I highly recommend the chili sauce noodles and the chicken house soup dumplings they were actually SUPER delicious and stood out to me the most! - Runner-ups were the vegetable house wontons! They are pretty good but since I was comparing it to DTF, they were not as good 😂 not bad overall. - I actually was a fan of the soft shell crab bao bun- it’s HUGE. It comes with a knife to cut and share with 1-2 other people. I forgot to list the lychee tea we got- it was way too sweet don’t get it! - Overall, the service was excellent. Our server was patient and informative and very nice!

First time here. Recommended by a friend. What a find! Excellent food and service. The food is made fresh. We had Crab Rangoon, Honeycomb Pot Stickers, General Tso's Chicken, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. So good! We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience. Food, service, drinks, everything was great. We came early, so no line. Maggie (our server) was on top of her game with great recommendations and fast service. The whole staff operated as a team with regard to service and bussing. My wife had the Kung Pao chicken, I had the Combination Udon noodles (spice level 5–not ridiculous, just right!) and we split the pork dumplings as an app. It was all delicious. If you don’t try this place, you’re only hurting yourself. Sorry about the photo but I was too busy eating it!

The quest of trying out soup dumplings brought us to Kitchen Master in Frisco, Texas and it was worth it! We started off with chicken egg rolls that come with 2 and sweet and sour sauce. The egg rolls were very good. We ordered a 2nd appetizer, the Boom Boom Shrimp. Now this I recommend! The shrimp were delicious! The shrimp were served covered in Wasabi mayo and it had just the right amount of sweet vs spicy! I would go back for this appetizer alone! On to the entrées. First we we had the shrimp and pork soup dumplings. Exquisite! Dip them in the ginger soy sauce that is provided! They were great! The soup broth was incredible! The shrimp amd pork inside was amazing! Definitely do not miss out on ordering these! We then moved on to the pork fresh steamed buns! Again, these were on point! Tender and delicious pork inside a tasty bun. Finally, we ordered orange chicken. We like to compare orange chicken in any restaurant that serves it. And again, Kitchen Master delivers! Everything we ordered we would order again in a heartbeat! The service was also excellent. The waiter was fast on the water refills and extremely nice. Definitely give Kitchen Master in Frisco a try!

Food was very good !! Tried a little of everything & was pleased. I’ll be back for sure! Had pork & shrimp soup dumplings, boom boom shrimp, cream cheese Rangoon, honey comb potstickers, wonton noodle soup, pan fried buns & the chocolate dumplings (needed to be sweeter to me, but still good)!

Went here for my birthday and was treated so well by everyone there I cannot say enough nice things! Thank you so much for the fantastic meal. The soup dumplings, honeycomb potstickers, wontons and more were absolutely fantastic and clearly hand made with love. Oh yeah… don’t forget those Waygu dumplings too. Yum!!! We left totally stuffed and had such great service we kept raving about everything. Thank you for making my evening fantastic and our bellies full. We’ll see you all soon! Wish we had more pics but we couldn’t help but to eat!

Stopped by for dinner right at opening time and got seated right in front of the glass window where you can see the chefs working. We ordered pork & shrimp soup dumplings, wonton noodle soup, and radish pastry. The radish pastry has a flaky crust and delicious savory filling. Everything was so delicious! We will have to come back to try other dishes.

I enjoy hand made dumplings and noodles as much as the next guy, but damn… these were amazingly good! Overall, service was spot on during dinner hours, and the staff constantly checked on our table. The food… oh my the food… it was probably some of the best noodles and dumplings I have had in the North Texas area. The soup dumplings were great. I would say they could probably use a little more broth inside of them, but that would have been my only complaint. They were delicious on their own, and tasted even better when dipped into a small dish of black vinegar and fresh ginger slices. I had the chili sauce noodles. I love a simple noodle dish like this and I don’t even mind that it isn’t served with a meat. Honestly, some pork belly would be great here, but I thoroughly enjoyed this plate as it was, noodles, bok choy, and plenty of tasty chili sauce in the bottom. The house wontons were simple and delicately tasty. We had the pork, but you have the option for a vegetable only wonton. The pan fried buns were also a very simple take on a pork bao but they were coated with sesame seeds on the bottom and fried til golden brown and crispy. No burnt buns here! Would order again! The minced pork noodles, although a bit monotone on the flavor, were still very delicious. The flavor here was really good, but it’s kinda like a good song with only a few musical notes. We would have liked a bit more complexity in the flavor but that’s a personal taste issue and not a fault on Kitchen Masters. Best egg drop soup I have tasted in a long time as well. It was fantastically executed and way better than any other run of the mill soup. It reminded us of the delicious soups we enjoyed while visiting Chinatown in LA many years ago. It brought back fond memories of recipes passed down from past generations and a general love for good Chinese cuisine. Even the chilled cucumber salad was worth the price. Cucumbers marinated in a sweet vinegar sauce with slices of garlic and red pepper. It was a perfect compliment to the meal as a whole and added that sweet and sour profile to the palate. Overall, I can’t wait to come back here! I want to try more foods from the menu and see what else they have to offer! No eaters remorse here in any sense of the word.

We went an hour before closing and service was still great. The food was great too. We ordered pork soup dumplings, honey walnut shrimp, string beans with pork and beef noodle. The soup dumplings were hot and juicy. Same good quality as dumpling House. Walnut shrimp was crispy and not drowned in sauce. They were also large size, not just breading. String beans had a good flavor with minced pork pieces. The beef noodle is basically pad see eew. Good texture on the noodle and beef was tender and not overcooked. The egg drop soup was also good. This was plenty of good for three. The string beans came with a choice of white or fried rice. The side fried rice is the only downside of our meal.

D
Darby Z

The best soup dumplings ever! Flavor and texture is unmatched. I also got the wonton noodle soup. Very good. Excited to try more dumplings and items next time. They even have dessert dumplings. Atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. What a pleasant find!

UPDATE 5/28/24: Second visit here and still 5 stars! My Mom and I were greeted by Melissa (she and her husband manage the place), then seated and handed Menus. I appreciate how they acknowledged and reconfirmed food allergies at the start of our visit. There have been instances (at other restaurants) in the past where my food allergies were not addressed or taken seriously, ultimately resulting in cross-contamination and a visit to the ER. I strongly recommend an OpenTable reservation as you are guaranteed a table, since it tends to get rather busy during both lunch and dinner. Lunch special menus are offered as well as an all-day Menu. Food, service, and ambiance are the reasons we choose to return to Kitchen Master for subsequent visits. Kent was our kind, courteous, and professional server. He made sure we had everything we needed We started things off with two Cherry Blossom Cocktails, followed by the dishes listed below which we shared. 1.) Basil Chicken with Steamed White Rice 2.) Shrimp Shumai 3.) Pan-Fried Pork Buns 4.) Custard Buns All excellent! The aesthetic quality, vibe, energy, and intimate dining space is what sets this place apart from other Asian restaurants. We chatted with Melissa - the manager - on our way out and we will continue to be regulars here going forward. ~Sheila Nayampalli~ ——————————————————————————— Stopped by for dinner here tonight with Mom at the suggestion of Yelp! Apparently, I have been living under a rock because this place has been here for four years. Made a reservation for a table for 4:45pm on 3/21/24 since I was not sure if it would be busy. Warm, inviting, and welcoming energy and space that gave me zen vibes right from the time we entered. Delightfully adorned to achieve an upscale, modern feel interspersed with and marked by Asian elements, we were promptly greeted and seated by the hostess - Faith - in a beautiful intimate dining setting, and transported to another realm. Before she seated us, she reconfirmed my eggplant and mushroom allergy. I always appreciate that (especially being first-time visitors) because it is clear that the kitchen is aware and takes it seriously. Wonderful first impression and that was just the beginning of our extraordinary culinary journey. I especially marveled at the bamboo steamer basket lights hanging from above and the wall dividers in the shape of dumplings. They truly lend an aesthetic value to the space. What a cute and creative idea. You even get to see them making the dumplings 🥟 in action behind the partition. It’s really neat. Mia, our kind and attentive server arrived at our table within a minute and we ordered Hot Jasmine Tea to start. Fragrant, full-bodied, and accented by floral notes, it was the ideal accompaniment to the remainder of our meal. Mia was extremely patient with us as we told her it was our first visit and she suggested different things we could order. We ordered a total of six dishes to share. Perfect portions at reasonable prices. All dishes exceptional. Mia timed the arrival of dishes perfectly. She even told me to let her know when I was ready and to take my time so she could start on the Custard Bun Dessert Order. 1.) 1 order of Scallion Pancake 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2.) 1 order of Chili Sauce Noodles 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.) 1 order of Basil Chicken 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.) 1 order of Shrimp Shumai 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5.) 1 order of Pork Soup Dumplings 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6.) 1 order of Custard Buns 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect way to end a meal. The combination of the mellow, subtle, not-too-sweet custard flavor and soft texture and chew of the buns was perfect. My favorite dish of the night. Absolutely, without a doubt, the star of the show. Mia gave us a 15% discount card good for our next visit. Will definitely return for lunch another day or try other dinner menu items on our next visit. Looks like we found our new place. Faith and Mia were the true standouts during our first visit. We will be regulars here going forward. Thank you and we will see you again soon!

I would say that this restaurant is excellent! Some people said that the taste and quality of this restaurant's food rivals Ding Tai Fung. As a Taiwanese who missed home so much, I came here and gave it a try. Indeed, their food is not bad, and I can say that the similarity is about 90%! Xiao Long Bao(soup dumplings) is so lovely, and I am so like it! If you haven't tried Ding Tai Fung, you don't have a chance to try it. You can try this restaurant instead.

I lived in China. Hear me out. 99% of “Chinese” restaurants don’t serve traditional Chinese, it’s American Chinese. For instance the only familiar entree you can find in China at most restaurants is sweet and sour pork, that’s it (besides dumplings which aren’t common in all regions). Kitchen Master serves really really good food and many authentic dishes that maintain traditional flavors. It honestly shocked me how great it is being where it’s located. I can’t believe I found this place. I use to drive to flower mound to get authentic dumplings and Chinese. This is my new place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. It's not often you find a place that gets everything right, but this restaurant truly delivers on all fronts. The meal started with their soup dumplings, and I can only describe them as perfect. Each dumpling was a delicate parcel filled with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly seasoned meat. It was immediately clear that this restaurant prioritizes high-quality ingredients. For the main course, I cannot recommend the NY strip steak beef highly enough. The quality of the steak was exceptional, tender and cooked beautifully, elevating a familiar dish into something truly special. What tied the entire experience together was the superb service. The staff was attentive, warm, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome and well-cared for throughout the meal. We finished with the dessert chocolate dumplings, which were just as amazing as they sound. It was the perfect, unique, and decadent end to an outstanding meal. If you're looking for incredible Chinese food, high-quality ingredients, and fantastic service, you have to give this place a try. I'm already planning my next visit!

This is one of my go to places! My friends and I love this place. They have one of the best soup dumplings. For Chinese food, it’s pretty delicious and authentic in my opinion. We always order the soup Dumplings, some main entrees and family style it. Some other dishes we have ordered are Mongolian beef, orange chicken, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, spicy wonton, combination fried rice, combination Lo mien, the list goes on. I plan to try the whole menu. So far, so good. Great atmosphere for small or large groups, or date night. Till then, let’s eat!

THIS is the real deal! If you are looking for authentic Asian food this is THE place! We came here because they are on the AA advantage dining and we were not disappointed! The orange chicken was simply the best I’ve ever had period. The rest of the food was terrific as well. The dumplings are handmade and you can see them being made which was super cool!! Service was ok. Restaurant is a good size and ambiance is good! We will definitely make the drive here again! Parking is crowded so be prepared to drive around a bit to find a space!!

This is honestly my go-to spot in DFW for handmade dumplings. They’re the best I’ve had around here. Every time I come, I automatically order threed dumplings — one crab, and couple shrimp. The shumai is also a must. The service is always warm and thoughtful. Jason and Mia are especially friendly and attentive. They always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. For main dishes, I really like the walnut shrimp, black pepper steak, and beef flat noodle. The flavors feel authentic and not like typical American-Chinese restaurant. This place really has its own style. Definitely one of my favorite spots in DFW.

Worth trying restaurant in DFW. The dumplings are so good, they have a variety of fillings (pork, chicken, shrimp, vegetables) and cooking styles (steamed, pan-fried) If you find yourself in frisco, this is where you need to go. Trust me, dumplings alone are worth the trip 🤩🫰🏻

Recently visited Kitchen Master and had an amazing experience. Here's what I ordered. Jasmin Green Tea House Soup Dumpling (Pork) House Pork Wontons (Spicy) Beef Noodle Soup (Medium-Spicy) Fresh meat Buns (Pork) Honey Walnut Shrimp Parking was super convenient, which was a great start. The jasmine tea had a beautiful aroma and flavor—really refreshing and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Service was fast, and the food came out surprisingly quickly, which made the whole experience even better. There's also a sports bar, so it’s a great spot for those who like to enjoy a drink with their meal. One of the highlights for me was the glass-walled dumpling station—you can actually watch the chefs making dumplings by hand, which was really cool to see. Every dish we tried was delicious. The pork-based dumplings had no unpleasant smell and were full of flavor. The beef noodle soup was also fantastic—big chunks of beef and a perfect medium level of spice. To finish, the fried flower pastry with condensed milk was an amazing dessert—crispy, sweet, and addictive. Overall, I’d rate this place a solid 10 out of 10. Great food, great service, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I ordered the beef rice noodles and the red pepper chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The beef was incredibly tender, and the noodles were full of flavor. The red pepper chicken was a standout. It was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning and spice. You can really taste the freshness and quality in each bite. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful and well-cooked Asian comfort food!!

We had a great experience at Kitchen Master. Everything we ordered was delicious — the xiaolongbao were juicy and flavorful, the fried dumplings were crispy, the popcorn chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the steamed dumplings and beef noodle soup were both excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a really great meal here. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The BBQ short ribs were excellent — the sauce was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like many other places. The meat was very tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The soft shell crab was also impressive. Crispy on the outside while still juicy inside, and honestly better than many other places I’ve tried. Their soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are definitely worth ordering. They offer many different types, and you can tell they’re made fresh daily. The dumplings are very juicy, and the wrapper skin is thin and delicate, which makes them even better. The stir-fried string beans were incredibly delicious — super fresh, crunchy, and perfectly cooked. They had a nice smoky flavor and were seasoned really well, making them simple but very satisfying. The orange chicken was also great and different from the usual overly sweet version. The sauce wasn’t too sugary, and the addition of a little orange peel made it much more aromatic and flavorful. The shrimp with mayonnaise and walnuts is definitely a must-try. The shrimp were crispy on the outside but still juicy inside, and the creamy sauce was rich without being overwhelming. Eating it together with the crunchy walnuts added an extra layer of flavor and texture. Overall a really satisfying meal with fresh ingredients and great flavors. Would definitely come back to try more of their dumplings. 🥟🦀

Kitchen Master is such a great spot for dumpling lovers! The food is delicious — fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Each dish comes with about 6 pieces for around $12, which is a really fair price considering the quality and the fact that it’s in a more expensive area. The customer service is excellent — everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. Overall, it’s an amazing place for tasty dumplings, great value, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience! Food was irresistibly good! The soup dumplings were a hit and the deserts were next level. 10/10 highly recommend if you haven’t been here. Mia was our service and she took excellent care of us the whole time!

Great food and service! We enjoyed their lunch specials I had General Tso’s chicken with steamed rice and sweet & sour soup. Hubby had beef fried rice with spring rolls. The service is always perfect and prompt! Great meal

This has now been a go to spot for my family for Chinese food! The atmosphere is amazing with you being able to see into the kitchen to see their homemade dumplings being made from scratch. The service is always consistently good, and very attentive that you can tell they take great pride in providing a great Customer experience. The food is delicious all the way from the appetizers to the desert. My consistent go to appetizers is the dynamite shrimp, which is definitely some of the best that I’ve had, and the pork and shrimp dumplings are heavenly. It tastes fresh and is filled with flavor, and I feel like I could eat 100 of them and not get tired of it. Another great part about Kitchen Master is their portion sizes. When my entree arrives, I think there is no way I can finish, yet 10-15 minutes later it is all gone, and that goes for my whole family. Can’t wait to come back and keep exploring and trying all the different things on their menu!

Kitchen Master is the best! My family and I have been going for years and know the menu like the back of our hand. One of our top 3 favorite restaurants to go to for dinner. Some of our favorites are the Singapore rice noodles, basil chicken, boom boom shrimp, and beef noodle soup. I never usually leave reviews, especially as long-time customers, but our experience tonight was different. We tried their new hot & sour soup dumplings and they were life changing. They were so flavorful, had the most amazing texture, and kept us going back for more. We are hoping and pleading that they put them on the official menu for good. Please Kitchen Master!!!!

It was my first time here and needless to say, they did not disappoint. Their Soup Dumplings are very delicious but the crab one is not my favorite but everybody else at my table loved it! So personal preference. Their cucumber salad was too sweet for my liking but again, everybody at the tables demolished them. Their pan fried Bao is very delicious. Highly recommend! I also recommend their pork house wonton is delicious and I recommend getting the spicy version, I didn’t think it was spicy at all. Their soup dumplings were great! Nothing super special to them but they are very seasoned and soupy. We also got wood ear mushrooms and other than the vinegar taste being prominent, you can’t taste anything else… kind of bland. Overall, I’d come here again to try their other dishes as I am quite curious as to what else they have to offer!

Kitchen Master is big and clean. It has a variety of Chinese food. For 6 people, we ordered the following: Pork soup dumpling Shrimp and pork soup dumplings Honey walnut shrimp Twice cooked pork Beef rice noodles Dumpling combo Pan fried buns All the food was very delicious and came promptly. The service was attentive and the staff is very nice. A lot of families and parties of 2 come here to enjoy a meal. It’s on the pricier side but the quality and portion is great.

Came for the soup dumplings. Definitely worth the drive from uptown. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The steamed buns were just okay, I may have ordered the wrong filling, I was hoping for more of a BBQ filling. But definitely go for the soup dumplings.

Food was very good. Hostess was very courteous and professional. I was waiting and had many members of the staff ask if I needed anything. Definitely recommend this place.

Owner is super cool and staff/service is great. The pictures that I attached were the scallion pancakes which were good but a little too oily in my opinion. If you come here though you MUST get the pork soup dumplings. They are fire plus they come out nice and hot. One thing I do wish for is bigger portion sizes but you won't leave there hungry.

Went here for Mother’s Day. Had high expectations coming in and experience in this type of food based on Kirin Court in Richardson. Food was good, not great. Dough on the dumplings was thicker and it contained a lot of water. Flavor was good, portion size good. BBQ buns were skimpy on the fillings and the dough was really thick and not sweet. Service was prompt but not personal. It was not busy, but with the hard surfaces it was very noisy. If the place was packed it would be hard to have any conversation They did take reservations, and they did appear to have a side private room for a small party.

We ordered our food including hot n sour soup, crispy tofu and red pepper chicken, egg fried rice in side through Uber eats. The quantity and taste of dishes was good. The soup seemed and tasted extra oily and the crispy tofu and and red pepper chicken were little dry. A little gravy would have made the dishes perfect.

After searching far and wide for good Chinese food in Frisco we finally found Kitchen Master. The soup dumplings are the star of the show but the entrees do not disappoint either. The Mongolian beef and fried rice are delicious and favorites to order. I tried the braised pork belly gua bao this time which was flavor packed start to finish. I'll try the soft shell crab version next time. They're a little short on staff so be prepared to wait a little extra to order another round to dumplings or get the check. The wait however, if worth it. You'd be hard pressed to find better Chinese in Frisco.

Everything was very delicious except, dumplings were too greasy for me. Meat lovers might like, but not my style. It was busy even though we went in the middle of the week.

Came here with my boyfriend yesterday. They were able to see two people in about 10 minutes. We ordered a few things. We ordered sweet glazed riblets, pan-fried buns, green pepper beef, and pineapple seafood fried rice. We would definitely re-order the sweet glazed riblets and the green pepper beef dish. They were very tasty and the beef was filling. The green pepper beef also comes with a side of rice. The pan-fried buns to us were not really that delectable. No disrespect to the cuisine culture. That is probably how it is supposed to be made and taste. To us, we felt like we were eating a mouthful of dough & a little piece of the inner filling of pork. It felt like 90% dough, 10% meat. The pineapple seafood fried rice was just OK to me. I wouldn’t really order again but my boyfriend would. It was a good portion. There was nothing wrong with the taste, but I felt like I would order some thing else on the dish before I ordered that entrée. I wish I ordered the honey walnut shrimp, so that will be next. We also ordered a pineapple martini and a Long Island. The pineapple martini was just nice, just tasted more juice-like and I am unsure if I had any alcohol lol. Now the Long Island was strong in alcohol taste. I added that pineapple martini to it and it tasted better. So for the riblets and peppered beef we will be back! Thank you!

Okay, this place was way better than I expected. The food was pretty good in terms of taste, but I have a few nitpicky things. Got pork soup dumplings, house wontons in chili oil, crab rangoons, pan fried pork bao, and beef noodle soup. The pork soup dumplings weren't as juicy as I would like, it was more solid ball of ground pork meat than soup. The crab rangoons are my guilty pleasure at places and no complaints here. The house wontons were good, I finished all of them. The pan fried pork bao were kind of oily and the taste was alright. The beef noodle soup was more oily than I'd like but taste was good.

Ordered various plates. Crispy calamri, Waygu dumplings, Honeycomb dumplings, pork soup dumplings, beef and broccoli and red pepper chicken. Crispy calamri was cooked well, big pieces. The only thing that I did not like was the breading. Breading was grainy like cornmeal. The Waygu dumplings were ok. Everyone liked the Honeycomb dumplings, would order again. Pork soup dumplings were good as well. I personally did not like the beef and broccoli but, the rest of the party did. The red pepper chicken was very good. Careful, it's very spicy. It did need some kind of diping sauce or sauce in the dish. It was more like chicken nuggets. The place has a nice vibe. Our waitress was super nice but, she didn't speak English well. Lot of pointing and repeating ourselves. Still a very good server and would be very happy if she helped us again.

Food was good but portion size was small especially for the price they're asking for. the pan fried buns flavor wise was good but texture wise, it didn't have the typically necessary crispy bottom you look for when eating these buns. I got the pork xiao long bao and while good, my whole family agrees the size of these were much smaller compared to other places we've tried. I also got the chocolate xiao long nap based on reading other reviews saying it was good but honestly wish I didn't. It wasn't anything special and didn't taste that great. I might've had too high expectations but I wouldn't recommend it. also got the salt & pepper chicken, crispy fish filet, green pepper beef, and garlic shredded pork. All these dishes were delicious but like mentioned above, portion size was quite small for the asking price.

Maggy is amazing! Food is decent I really would mainly recommend the red pepper chicken pictured is the basil chicken, which was over cooked. I love the ambience, the menu is hit or miss but so many other great things about the place. The soup dumplings and steamed buns are yummy.

I believe their noodles are better than dumplings. If you want to try noodles only, I highly recommend it. It seemed not enough severs to cover the whole dinning, seemed really busy and we had to wait for a while for a waiter to come and serve us. I ordered two dumplings(pork and carb, pork), and something came out from a pork dumpling (seemed like a carb shell). The restaurant manager removed the pork dumpling bill for us. That was nice of her.

Visited this place on a busy Saturday evening, place was packed.. would recommend everyone to book in advance especially on Saturdays. Place has good vibes. Food was good, somethings were better than others. We had dumplings, bun, Singapore noodles, hot & sour soup. The mens restroom was a bit messy, as there was lot of water on the floor. Overall 3.5/5

I have visited with my friends and the food is very good but service is slow. Much recommended for the restaurant for trying the Chinese cuisine. I have tried Veg Dumplings, Veg Fried Rice and Singapore Noodles. All the items are very good and maintained good in quality. Don’t miss dumplings, they are awesome.

The food was amazing but the service was subpar. There were 7-8 employees there but it seemed that only one was actually waiting on tables. Would definitely still going back again! Got some frozen dumplings to take home also!

Was greeted immediately at noon on a Tuesday. Sat towards the bar area and waitress took our drink order as soon as we sat down. Service overall was okay, the food was tasty and had a lot of great options. The combo dumplings (not pictured) were our least favorite due to lack of flavor. We’ll definitely pop in again when we’re in the area.

Kitchen Master has quickly become a go-to spot for me, having visited twice within a week. Each time, I ordered the same items: Hot and Sour soup, boom boom shrimp, and Chicken Tofu fried rice. I must say, every dish exceeded my expectations. The standout aspect of Kitchen Master is its quick service. Despite the rush, the staff always manages to deliver orders promptly. However, there's a slight inconsistency with the Chicken Tofu fried rice. While it's generally good, I've noticed some variation in taste across visits. Price-wise, Kitchen Master offers reasonable rates for the quality of food and service provided. Despite the minor inconsistency with the fried rice, I'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals. Overall, Kitchen Master is a solid choice for a satisfying meal with quick service and friendly staff.

The food was good. I think the star of the day were the traditional pork soup dumplings. We also tried a the pork and crab ones too and they were ok but I probably wouldn’t order them again. I’ve never tried pork buns before so I don’t have a reference point for those. However our waitress Melissa recommended we had those pan fried and I think it was the right choice. I ordered a spicy wonton soup and it was not spicy at all to me, however I do have a pretty high spicy tolerance and I come to find out they have different levels of heat. Next time I come in I will be having level 3. The server was great I think she was also the manager. Super friendly and gave us tons of recommendations about the menu.

Dumplings were good but not the best in town. Customer services were friendly and attentive. The bar is available. The red bean pastry was the best and delicious!

Overall hot, tasty food, but the service was lackluster. Despite my knit picking, I’d give it another shot. Though our server was enjoyable, They had many other tables to juggle so we weren’t able to receive attentive service. Possibly more servers would solve this issue? The service was subpar this time around. We had to wait 20-30min to place our order and same with the check. They only have one asian person as a cook and the rest are not. If I want authentic asian food, I expect it from the hands of the culture. More asian servers than cooks. To each their own. The black pepper steak was sweet? Family had to add soy sauce to make it edible. Just wasn’t what they were expecting, but they tried something new. They typically get the same thing and always enjoy it!

The food was delicious. When we arrived there was about a 20 minute wait. It did take a little longer than I would have liked for our server to greet us; however, after he did he stayed on top of everything. Did I mention the food is delicious, cause yeah it is. The food does come out as the dishes are ready instead of all at once.

We came here on a Thursday lunch time, inside of the restaurant was very cold, if you are sensitive to temperature like me, I recommend you bring a jacket. We had house dumplings, beef soup noodles and chili sauce noodles. It was a large quantity with an affordable price, but tastes wise I will give it 2.5/5. (As Asian standard ykiyk) service wise, I didn't feel like we were greeted well by the host since we came around the time 30min before their closing, The staff were all trying to close and clean everything & chatting in front of us while we were eating.

Ordered from here for the first time on Saturday. While the food took 35 minutes to be ready(mother's day weekend) no problem here. Ordered the orange chicken for myself and dumplings for my wife. While my wife enjoyed her dumplings the orange chicken lacked flavor and really needed some spice added. The orange chicken was about what you would expect from Panda Express. I had high hopes for the restaurant as everyone had such positive reviews.

UPDATE: Dropping this to 3 stars. Called in yesterday to ask about whether certain dishes like specifically the soup dumplings had sesame in them (including sesame oil) as we had a family member with severe sesame food allergies, and the person on the phone said they did not. I was surprised and asked if that was definitely the case with sesame oil for the dumplings and they said they didn't and that even if they had anything with sesame, we could just tell them to remove it. We ended up trekking over excitedly for dinner, sat down, and when starting to order just happened to confirm one last time only to find that when I confirmed in person with the actual Asian waitress that in fact all the dumplings and many other dishes had sesame oil and that it couldn't be removed. Huge disappointment for our family... Someone needs to train the staff on being more allergy friendly and not to blatantly lie... Thank goodness we confirmed again in person otherwise we'd have been in the hospital! ------------- Original: Absolutely love this place! The food is authentic, high quality, and service is great. Highly recommend the soup dumplings which were perfect!

The food is ok, I ordered beef flat noodle store fry and pan fried buns. The noodle did has so called wok hay , a special aroma from the work when fast stir fry in high temp. Somehow it lack of salt and seasoning. The bun just regular pork bun which not that good. Service is also ok somehow when they served the bun there is no soy sauce and vinegar to pair? I was waiting for a while, the waiter passed by twice I was about to ask but not sure he didn’t seem me or just didn’t care. I didn’t want to ask loud, so have to figure where the hell I could find the soy sauce. It’s not a pleasant meal in all. And I don’t think I will bring any friends here.

Terrible: pork wonton - i could feel powder flour and wonton skin was thick but some torn. Last piece was actually cold and manager was rude, saying “but you ate them all and now you are telling me it is cold?” Yes, that cold piece happened to be the last one, not the first one. Hopefully I dont get sick. Great: beef noodle soup. This is the reason you should go eat at here. Beef was so tender, soup was great, noodle has soaked the flavor perfect, every bite was awesome. So-so: dim sum. Overall not worth my money. Very thick skin and not enough soup. This place needs more improvement with dim sum skill. Idk how to make it but I love dim sum, I ate enough to tell what is good or what not. Good: server. The server, Ofelia was awesome, she was so polite. Very quick and nice

Appetizers were very good. Main dishes were lukewarm at best. We specifically ordered $7 glass of wine from the menu, but were charged $11/ea on our bill, which my husband didn’t realize until we were home. Order appetizers, dumplings, soup dumplings & potstickers. CECK YOUR BILL VERY CAREFULLY!

Reached at opening hour. Place was desolate. No customers! We ordered multiple dishes of Dim Sum - but found the food bland and suited more to the American palette, nothing Taiwanese! Which included the chilli oil on the table! Ambience was dull as there were just 2 or 3 customers apart from us.

Above average price, below average portion size, steamed dumplings are good but not worth $11 for 6 pieces. I can see how packaging can bring white people in this overpriced Panda Express. If you want good dumplings go Wu Wei Din. If you want other American Chinese food go Meso it’s down the street with bigger portion size. Found out Costco has dumplings for $12 and you can get 36 of them, if you steam them instead of microwave, they actually taste better than this place.

Will start off by saying the staff is affable, make you feel very welcome. Absolutely wonderful people! 10/10. However, the food tasted just like any other Chinese restaurant. By no means did the food or atmosphere line-up with the pictures or description on their website. It really wasn’t all that, just tasted ordinary.

Been going to this restaurant for a year or two now and it USED to be amazing and some of the best chinese food in the area and the food and service has gone down so much. Just ordered takeout online on the website and the printed receipt CLEARLY says 1 fried rice with egg & beef and the second order says 1 beef rice noodle. We got a beef rice noodle that lacked flavor and was very oily. The second order was completely different and was some type of soup with thick noodles and vegetable which is wayyy off from egg fried rice, i would sort of understand if SOMEHOW they mixed up the beef rice noodle with the soup thing but how could you mix up fried rice on a website order with a printed receipt?? The soup smelled disgusting and i didn’t even want to eat anymore. Wish this restaurant stayed the same as it was a year ago. Update - 9/10 I just went back here because i am sick and wanted to look for a good soup nearby and saw their wonton soup online, i placed a order with VEGETABLE wontons and when we go there, they tell us the wontons have a pork filling. When ordering online i specifically clicked replace wontons with vegetable filling and when we get there, its pork. When asking the staff to change it to vegetable wonton, they tell us all vegetable menu items have pork. This is absurd that they label their food as vegetarian and they tell us that ALL OF THEIR VEGETABLE ITEMS CONTAIN PORK. How can people with dietary restrictions eat at this place? This restaurant has the worst service out of anywhere i’ve ever been to. When we asked to change the order, the manager rudely refused and so we asked for a refund, and they straight up said “we dont do refunds” now i have to dispute the charges because i cant even eat pork when the food we ordered was label as “vegetarian.” Last time coming here. Really disappointed, horrible service.
