Hands down the best coffee I've ever had! I'm usually a Starbucks coffee drinker, but I drink the fancy stuff that my husband and mom proudly tell me is not real "coffee", but on this particular day we were in Frisco for the annual community parade and the friends we were with told us about Summer Moon as a great coffee place in the area. It was super busy when we stepped in, line to the front door, but it moved rather quickly and I appreciated the extra time to peruse the menu and figure out what I wanted. I decided on the Mocha Moon latte which is prepared with half moon sweetness and because I like the fancy stuff from Starbucks the sweetness was absolutely PERFECT! I ordered the 12 oz and immediately wished I'd ordered the 16 oz. My husband, who usually orders the Nitro Cold Brew from Starbucks, ordered their 1/4 Summer Moon latte which he really enjoyed! Their loaves were all gluten free so he also decided to get a coffee cake which he devoured so, I guess he liked it...lol! The setup inside is great! There's seating for small and medium sized groups. I think there was also additional seating behind the kitchen, but I didn't venture back there. They have candles, cups, shirts and other merchandise for sale and I really appreciated that you could order online which we will absolutely be doing next time and I recommend for anyone who is visiting because this place is popular and it can take them a minute to get your drink out. Overall had a wonderful first time experience. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

It’s a one of a kind Coffee place. If you have a sweet tooth then the moment you taste the ‘Moon milk’ you’ll be in heaven. They cater to all types. Small, medium, Large, Sweet, half sweet & sugarless. Their Matcha latte is perfection. The staff are all super sweet and courteous. I love everyday about this place and it’s in my favorite part of Frisco. Old frisco has a charm and this place gives you all the right vibes. Weekends and evenings get crowded, so braze yourself.

IMO, Summer Moon offers the best coffee I’m Frisco. My favorite is the Whisper Cinnamoon Latte (1/8 sweetness). It’s delicious hot or cold. The cappuccinos are excellent too. I also love the quiche and Marianna’s Breakfast Tacos (potato is so good, but I also like the bacon). The space has a funky vibe and you feel hip just by being there. Run, don’t walk, to try this awesome spot!

Must try coffee shop!!! After hearing about how great of a place this was I had to make the trip. It is in the perfect spot in Frisco near a lot of cute shops and restaurants. There are entrances in the front and back of the shop making it easy to access from parking lots in the back. Staff was super friendly and assisted customers quickly. The menu is simple and easy to understand with unique drinks. I ordered a half moon which is a semi sweet latte sweetened with sweet cream. It is fantastic!! We also ordered an espresso milkshake which was super delicious and a hot chocolate that was very good! The drinks came out quickly as employees were super busy with nonstop customers. There is a lot of cool merch next to the register as well as a lot of bagged beans for purchase. Will definitely be back!!

Summer Moon has some of the BEST coffee I have EVER had at any coffee shop. Bold statement? Absolutely. Am I bluffing? Not in the slightest. Summer Moon slings the real deal coffee, especially when we’re talking about moon milk being involved. What I love about Summer Moon so much is how unique they are. Their name, Summer Moon, comes in part due to the type of creamer/ sweetener they use for their coffee, which is called Moon Milk. Moon Milk is a house made special sweet milk that apparently has 7 secret ingredients. I want this secret recipe more than the Krabby Patty formula.. I swear that moon milk is actually crack because it’s so addicting, but all I can say is that when it’s added to coffee it makes for the most delicious and unreal drink compared to any other one I’ve tried. They do give you the option of how much moon milk you’d like as well- a quarter moon for those who like it less sweet, to half moon to 3/4 moon for the sweetest. And don’t even get me started on the frappes. Some of my family lives in Frisco, and every time we go we strongly request to visit Summer Moon. It’s not an ‘if’ but ‘when’ are we going. In my most recent trip to TX, we were there for 4 days. Guess how many times we had Summer Moon… yep, that’s right- 4 times— Every single day. This place really is that good, and it’s also very worth ordering online ahead of time because I am far from the only one hooked on moon milk. Their signature moon milk drink overly complicates the menu. If you are into sweet drinks, give it a go but it overpowers the coffee a lot. Even at quarter "sweet" levels it's like having 2/3 spoons of sugar being added in. Even the frosted hot chocolate was so sweet that my kiddo didn't like it. The location itself has a great setup and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be stopping by again to try their other options.

Update* It seems they responded that there's a sign up rewards programs but when I visited every time, they told me that either they didn't have one, and it was only in this location where they said it was in the works. Not sure if it is new but when I purchased a nitro, as a past customer who inquired about it, they did not recommend it at the McKinney location. This is a late review but I think the coffee is okay. The staff can vary, but often times they are nice. I've tried different drinks but during my last visit I tried the summer moon matcha but it's not well balanced. The creamer overpowered the matcha, making the matcha taste non-existent despite it was recommended by some of the reviewers. There's some fans of summer moon coffee , and that's ok but I think it's a little pricey for the portion without a reward system. I've tried the nitro version and it was still just okay. But this is still the best location of Summer Moon compared to the others, the staff are courteous and respectful most of the time. Only one exception but it was busy so I can understand.

Super nice coffee shop right on Frisco’s Main Street! It’s a small place but very nice - kid friendly as well with baby high chairs available. The coffee is really good, just like the other Summer Moon Coffee shops. This spot is not as big as other Summer Moon Coffee shops but this place is nice and cute in its own way. Good place to be at on a cold day! Parking is street parking I believe. I couldn’t personally see any other spots for parking other than the streets around. Do try the Cold Winter Moon or the Hot Summer Moon - Both are really good! If you are going to sit in, do ask for your coffee in an actual mug/cup rather than a to-go cup.

Amazing place, Amazing people working there, great products! It was our first time trying their coffee here at Frisco. The place is pretty small, really cozy though. It's like a place that you would go to for your first couple of dates or just one on one hangouts in general. Their coffee is good, the only thing is (which is also a personal preference), their moon milk is really sweet. We got a half moon with an extra shot if espresso and change our skim milk half to an out milk and that helps a lot. Still sweet. But nevertheless, shout out to their services! They gave us a shot if espresso for free because it was too sweet for us initially. Definitely recommended if you're around Frisco area!

I really enjoy this coffee shop, but I’ve noticed the iced coffees are inconsistent. I usually order two iced Winter Moons, and they almost always taste different from each other—sometimes too milky, sometimes too bitter. Every once in a while they’re great, but not often. Since I come multiple times a week, it’s disappointing not knowing what I’ll get. Some extra training for the baristas on drink measurements would go a long way in making the quality more consistent.

Hard to help #savemain when the business turns us away in a not so polite manner. We didn’t realize that Summer Moon’s two locations in Frisco have different hours of operation, I’m assuming due to the construction on Main that location is closing early daily due to lack of business. When I googled Summer Moon (yesterday 10/22), it pulled up the location off Legacy because we were actually closer to that location! It’s 100% on me for assuming both locations had the same hours!! My husband and I decided to brave Main Street to give our support. We walked in as two ladies were leaving roughly 4pm (closing time), we stood by the register for just a moment (not greeted by the young man behind the coffee counter) but by young girl who came walking out from the back who could have approached us with a different tone and wording. She had no clue if we had been standing there for a few seconds or long enough that the business was still “open” that’s how close to 4pm we managed to make it. Her demeanor and “we’re closed the doors are only open because we need people to leave” was a bit harsh and unprofessional. I looked at my husband and we just walked out. I wasn’t expecting to be served, it’s closing time but please train your staff on how to handle this situation better in the future. For us we took our business to the Book Shoppe. We love Summer Moon coffee and will visit other locations, but won’t be returning to the Main Street location until the construction is done. A 4 block walk in heals for that kind of interaction is not worth the trouble.
