Got mama Teresa's supreme large pizza. 8 slices of great pizza. It is hand tossed thin crust pizza. The crust was crispy on the bottom, not crunchy and not pan thick bread, it was just right. Even the outer crust was crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. The toppings had good flavor and cooked well. The veggies weren't raw crunchy like they were thrown on at the last minute. The service was fabulous. The waiter was so friendly and attentive in the right way (not hovering). The ambiance was cozy and comforting. Looks like a lot of original Galveston old charm and memorabilia of mama. There is not a lot of light so you might need your phone flashlight to read the menu. I definitely recommend and will be going back.

Mama Teresa's has the best pizza on the island. The crust has a superb taste and texture, and tears just right with every single bite. The cheese and sauce are obviously of the greatest ingredients and create a perfect fusion of flavor. Because it only consists of the most basic of ingredients, I like to rate my pizzerias on how well they can make a Margherita style pizza. I have tried quite a few, and will defend the fact that Mama Teresa's is the best I have ever had. It is my go-to order when I am on the island!

Our experience was 10/10 We came to visit Galveston and our daughter wanted to have nothing but pizza for dinner so we googled the hyped pizza places and this one was really very high rated. We were feeling a little awkward as we were there just for a pizza. But the person serving us made us feel so warm welcomed and all the people were super friendly, also not to mention the pizza was very reasonable priced yet perfectly delicious! Would recommend the place 100%

The Supreme Pizza was really good. Thick pizza but a crispy crust, which is great to me. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Also ordered chicken wings that were breaded and very vingery. Waited a bit because the restaurant is popular. Would definitely go here again to order pizza.

The food and experience were amazing! We arrived later in the evening around 7:30 there was a wait time of 1hr 30 mins but we only waited about 45 mins when our table was ready. For appetizers we ordered garlic bread and it was served with 2 dips marinara sauce and garlic oil. We also ordered buffalo wings. The garlic bread was delicious and crispy, the wings were breaded which isn’t my favorite but these were actually pretty good. For pizza we ordered a large half specialty “Sweet and Spicy” and half pepperoni. It was absolutely delicious and the texture was perfect not to mention the cheese pull. We also had a cannoli for my daughter’s 3rd birthday! 🎉 We will definitely be back. 😊

When showing up you will have to pay for parking if you do it on the street you will have to do it online, but there is a place right around the corner. We pay $10. It was worth it. We walked up. There was a gentleman standing outside a host that did not seem to enjoy his job. After reading the other views, it seems there’s an issue with the host. Waited about 10 minutes for a seat, which is OK we got it in the window. Ted Lasso. lol! Our server was not in a hurry to get over to our table. Took our drink order. When the food came out, it was excellent nice and hot. Couldn’t ask for anything better. It was the best a chef kiss. All the other servers brought out water. We had none we had to call him over to re-order drinks. Other than that, we will be back every time we come back to Galveston.

This was an unpleasant visit. From walking up to ordering and receiving my pizza. You can see from the pictures I posted, the guy outside is not invested in his job. His phone was more important than customer engagement, although when I left, he did say thank you for visiting. Once a walked up I asked about the largest pizza they had to feed my kids, and I was told to look at the menu. After looking at the menu I decided on the largest pizza, which was 8 slices. I went inside and I was confused where ro order. The guy outside said go to the back to order. I went to the area where they were making pizza and they told me to go to the bar and order. As you can see from the picture the guy at the bar had his back turned. So I waited for him to turn around and I ordered my pizza pie. He said 15 minutes it would be ready. I went to my car to wait. Upon returning to receive my pizza I walked to the same guy I put my order in with and he asked me how could he help me. I told him I'm here to pick up my order and he walked in the back. Someone else from the pizza area came to me and said my name and gave me my pizza. Seems like there is no communication and there were alot of employees and the place was empty for a Friday. The pizza crust was hard and salty.

I don’t want to act like a pizza-snob from New York, but I am one. I ordered a medium pizza with mushrooms and onions. Flavorless, bland sauce on a dry, weak crust. I ate half and took half away. I gave it to a homeless guy on the way to my car. Service was very good. Atmosphere was not Italian at all. Old R&B music playing and loud NFL football at the bar. The could use a little Frank Sinatra music or similar.

I was really excited to try the tomato soup given all of the solid reviews and was looking for a light dinner. Got it as takeout, got home and started to eat it. It was all cream? There was no tomato flavor at all. :-/ the bread was fresh and great but the soup was flavorless. For a $10 soup, I was pretty disappointed. Also it smells great in there but just heads up that the sound bounces off the walls and it’s quite hard to hear in there.
