Beautiful atmosphere as well as the views. Staff is very friendly. Loud music, cold beer and beautiful sunset. What else could you need. Heineken 0.0 was nowhere to be found, but hopefully soon it will be on thanks for the love

I think it’s important to say that Woodys is a bar only. No food. I am not a drinker, But I could sit at this bar and sip a glass of water all day long. They have music and cold drinks. Very down to earth. It’s the best place to grab a drink and enjoy the waves and warm breeze. There is a lovely Overlook to enjoy watching some fish, crabs, and birds in nature. We came here multiple times during our stay on the Island and I will return here anytime I come back to Galveston.

This is a pretty nice place to hang out after soaking up in the beach and sun. The bartenders are very attentive and they have a nice selection of drinks. The sitting area on the back is pretty nice to spend some quality time

Great place to chill and shoot some pool. Bar tenders ate friendly and very attentive. Sound system is good. When you can catch live music, it's a must. Great ocean view. I will definitely be returning.

Dive bar we have made a staple for our LSR visits to the Island. The people are friendly, the live music is better than average. The drink prices are reasonable and its off the Strand and Sea wall. If your looking for a relaxing evening during LSR the vibe here is great.

Ok for a place to hang out in an open-air place to hang out and enjoy adult beverages. Seemed more like a treehouse than a bar. But, it drew a decent crowd of bikers during the rally for being several miles away from the main action. We wanted to ride a little away from the masses, so it filled the bill. Kudos to their parking attendants, they really controlled the lot. There was no food served by Woodys, but there was a food truck there. I think they should've offered a few portapotties the mens room was often overwhelmed. I heard many of the ladies comment upon seeing the long line of men waiting for the restroom. Most said the world is upside down here.

Cool bar right by the water with lots of shaded bike parking. Decently priced beers for the location, you're not paying nightclub prices. Small inside area by the bar but the overly spacious deck is what Woody's is all about. Live daytime music during the warmer months with spectacular views of the waves and sunset. Relax, unwind, and put yourself in a flip-flop state of mind. (just remember there's no food served here)

Went in to have an Old Fashion that I heard so much about. The bartender didn't know how to make it but said the owner did. Apparently he was too busy on the phone to help her out. He basically blew us off so I just ordered whiskey on the rocks. It wasn't long before he walked by disinterested in his clientele. Over priced drinks and a crappy owner!

Filled with ABT and Twistedwoods. 2 hot bartenders (1white blonde, 1Hot Asian with Tatts) good live band but could not enjoy because of ABT taking over the place. Few of them packing.
