My fiancé had planned dinner here right after his proposal. They had set up the private booth beautifully with rose petals and cocktails. It was the 50th anniversary promotion and the food was wonderful! Tableside service and the attention was great as was the discreet privacy we were given to enjoy our meal and each other's company. Highly recommend!
The food here was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Me and my friends loved EVERYTHING they gave us. Though our server didn't come around a lot so we had to wait a bit for our check. Overall it was amazing, it might be a little pricey but trust me it's worth the amount!!
The food was fantastic, and the restaurant was neat, clean, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Lidia B. was our server and did a great job keeping our drinks refilled promptly. My only small critique is that I wish she had slowed down a bit when explaining the grilling times. Some foods take just 2–3 minutes, while others need longer, and the information was given so quickly that I ended up cooking everything a little extra just to be safe.
Our first time here! We were celebrating our 2nd Anniversary and we had Carlos as our host/server and he walked us through everything and sugesting amazing drinks and valuable sugestions on our 4 course meal. Carlos did an amazing job! We would definetly be back!
Omgggggg we have only ever gone here for the chocolate fondue...its so yummy! High quality. Service is perfect, atmosphere great. Such a great idea for a dare night as well! We love it here.
It's unfortunate so many negative reviews I've seen. We had the best night! Staff was amazing. Food was amazing! We did the four course for two. The whole experience took about two hours so I'd say it's worth what you pay! We opted for the private dining. Paid extra but to be alone was worth it. Give the place a chance we will be back!
Food was amazing and staff was wonderful. We were in town for my cousin bachelorette party. We had a little adventure while we were there and I am glad I was in the right place at the right time. Will definitely be back and also be calling to follow up how everything went (had to be there to understand the wild situation ). We added what happened to my bingo card cause that definitely was not on it.
This was our first time here and I highly recommend! We did the four course meal and everything was delicious. Lidia was incredibly helpful and kind and helped make this a wonderful experience.
We've been to the melting pot several times. After a bad experience a few years back we decided to try again. We were celebrating my birthday. Our waiter Ricky was great! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful anniversary experience at The Melting Pot. Our sever Carlos was exceptional! He made the experience! Would recommend for a nice romantic dinner!
My girlfriend and I couldn't decide on place for dinner. We went, here. We were not disappointed! This place is a hidden gem. Great service, even for walk-ins. This is not a place to "eat." This is an experience. Our server, Rylen, was amazing. Knowledgeable, patient. Answered all out questions. Ask for her, if you visit. It's odd, in a restaurant, cooking one's own meal, but it was a true experience. Get the four course for two. You won't be disappointed. I recommend the steak lovers. My girlfriend chose the "create your own" with ahi tuna and shrimp. Expect to pay a little, but in the end, it was worth every moment. Reservations aren't necessary, but highly recommended.
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner with the wife for our 2nd anniversary! We did the 4-course dinner, with a wonderful paring of wine. Wisconsin cheddar, Coq A Vin broth, Yin/Yang chocolate. Server was very kind, had decorated our table w/ rose petals & had a card waiting for us from the staff. Will always sing this restaurant praises!
I have always wanted to visit The Melting Pot but just never seemed to make it. Our 30th Anniversary was coming up and we planned a visit to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and my husband made us a reservation. We visited on Friday 11/8. Our table was decorated with rose petals, a half dozen roses in a vase and an Anniversary card signed by the staff. Our server, Ricky/Ricardo also known as "Ricky Bobby" was absolutely amazing! He had such a great personality, he was funny, attentive and well versed with the menu. I was so nervous as I had put this place on a mental pedestal yet, not once was I disappointed. The food was amazing, it was definitely a different experience, in a good way. The manager even came by to check on us and wish us a Happy Anniversary. I even got to take the roses home.
Aslan was a wonderful host and server to our table. He answered our questions and kept our drinks full. Excellent experience and would come again with friends or family.
We came after our engagement and had the best time! Lidia was our server and she was kind and informative. She left us a plate with syrup at our dessert portion to congratulate us! Definitely recommend for a date night in Gatlinburg.
Loveedddd coming here for our anniversary dinner! The food was delicious and very filling. You cook your own entrees! The cheese was good although if I came again I would not get the fiesta. Get a different cheese. Dessert was my favorite part! We got the caramel and chocolate mix. The service was 10/10 and we loved how they have private , intimate booths. It made it so romantic. Loved it!
Furkan was great !!! He was very helpful great at explaining the menu 10/10 was amazing if I was a local I would definitely come back often !!!! Great job give him a raise
A fantastic place to celebrate my birthday! Thank you for the amazing special touches to help celebrate. The server was super friendly, knowledge and attentive. The management was on top of everything and everyone was friendly.
Had never been and went last night. Adrianna P. was our server. She was extremely helpful and so sweet. Couldn't have ask for a better waitress. If you find yourself in gatlinburg and wanting good food and a good experience go visit the melting pot and ask for her as your waitress!!
We were in Gatlinburg on our honeymoon and this was our first time at The Melting Pot. We loved everything about it.
I never leave reviews, but I felt the need to for here. Our server, Leanyi, was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. She met every one of our needs despite us ending up staying past closing on accident. We asked at closing if we could take our dessert to go since it hadn’t came out yet and it was past close, but they were so kind and actually encouraged us to stay and enjoy it. We had never gone to the melting pot as we don’t have one where we are from but will never miss one on our trips again. Our server even brought over a ‘date night’ art plate for us. She told us all about our food, how to cook it, the names, etc. The only bad was what looked to be the manager being rude to some young workers. I would also steer clear from getting an entree if you are like us and are used to normal steakhouse/Americans food styles as these are not so. This was totally on us and our own preference, though. The loaded baked potato cheddar was SO good and the s’mores chocolate was finished off almost as soon as we got it, and we don’t even eat like that. 100% would recommend to any couple. The atmosphere was beautiful, overlooking the strip shopping walk below the smokey mountains; super quiet, low light, and beautiful inside. Love love love!
My Husband and I visited to celebrate my birthday. We were very impressed with our waiter Dylan. He was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and offering. We enjoyed the 4 course option for 2. The food was good quality and delicious!
We decided we wanted to dine here to celebrate our friend’s birthday! 🎉 😊 Wifey and I had been to the melting pot back in Atl, but it was our friends first time. Special thanks to Zenethe!! She was really kind and more than patient with us. She made sure that we had a wonderful evening by taking good care of us and ofc, she made our friend’s birthday memorable! 🌹 They have a lot of delicious options, but we went with the Steak lovers (5 stars!!!⭐️ ), they ordered their own build your own fondue with a mix of chicken and steak and we all decided we wanted to try the mojo for the cooking style…and OMG! 🤤 Loved the citrusy taste! 🤌🏼 WE LOVE ALL THE SAUCES! No exceptions… For dessert… We shared the ying yang fondue… 🍫🫕☯️ really yummy and cute for the pics! Enough for the 4 of us, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, you might want to ask for more. 😋 Ying yang martini… 👌🏼✨🍸 Really nice place to come and celebrate any special occasion. 💫 Great service and delicious food! Only thing… I’d say the music volume was a little to low. Sometimes I could even hear people’s thoughts 🙊 but great ambiance in general!
Great food and ate so much we could barely walk out. Service was top notch as well
RICKY was an amazing waiter! He made the experience so much more enjoyable. Recommend it all around!!
Me and my girlfriend had date night here and our server Zeynep was not only extremely personable and attentive, she was a pleasure to have. The food was delicious and timed perfectly. We did the ultimate experience so we had cheese, salad, entree, and dessert!!
This is definitely a more expensive experience but we'll worth it the food was amazing the presentation was on point if you like cheese and chocolate this is a great place to try
We love coming to this restaurant for special occasions. It sort of makes you take your time & enjoy each other as much as you enjoy the food! The staff are always excellent & make the experience so much more special. Tonight, Christian was our server & did amazing. Another reason to love The Melting Pot is their support of St. Jude’s Hospital. There is no better fight to join than the fight against childhood cancer!! Thus our wonderful meal ended with a donation to St Jude’s and me walking out the door with a fondue pot plushie. Yeah, grownups need fun, too!! I strongly suggest the alpine cheese, the California salad, the Mojo and Pacific Rim for the main and any of the chocolate courses, because they are all amazing.
This is one of our favorite places to come, Me and my sister have been here quite a few times the service is always very good and atmosphere amazing food is always excellent. This last time we went, we had Ricky as our server and he was without a doubt our favorite that way I’ve had yet absolutely a pleasure to be around and made the whole dining experience over the top incredible. 10 out of 10 and highly recommend Ricky and the melting pot❤️❤️❤️
We had a wonderful experience at The Melting Pot, and Carlos truly made our night special. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Carlos again!
We frequent the melting pot (Florida, NC, Gatlinburg), especially for special occasions. It’s one of our favorite places and we tend to find any excuse to go. This visit was no different. We loved every aspect of it. Raylen was wonderful: attentive, friendly, professional. The food was delicious. We got the dinner for 2: started with the fiesta cheese, Caesar salads, the classic and the Pacific rim cooked in the broth, and finally the peanut butter pie fondue with all the dippers. The experience alone is so enjoyable. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm. Our one “ugh” moment is that the cheese and dessert courses are not prepared at the table like they do at other locations. This takes away from the overall experience in my opinion. The dessert course was melted but on the cold side. We had to turn up the burner and wait a bit before digging in.
We had an amazing experience at The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Rylen. She was spunky, fun, and just brought such great energy to the table. Her menu knowledge was on point, and she even shared some insider tips on how to order the chocolate fondue to make it an 11/10. It was tasty! Rylen made the whole meal memorable for us. If you’re going to Melting Pot-Gatlinburg, do yourself a favor and ask for Rylen. Highly recommend!
The melting pot was a 10/10 experience! We loved the food, atmosphere and most of all our awesome server Ricky. He was very attentive and took great care of us. Highly recommend!
My wife and I came here for our first anniversary, and had a wonderful time. The food was great, from the Alpine Cheese to the heavenly Flaming Turtle (seriously, get the Flaming Turtle!) Our server, Ricky, was fantastic, very friendly yet not in-your-face. He was helpful with recommendations, and made the experience all the more memorable and "premium."
The Melting Pot with your date is great. Taking your kids is a risk but sometimes as a parent you want to provide some fun experiences. This experience was awesome and enhanced by the staff. Ricky was our waiter and as soon as he saw our kiddos he knew what to do and how to treat them. It wasn’t without its kiddos shenanigans but the staff never made us think having our kids there was an issue. Side note, our kids did pretty good for the 2 hours it takes to enjoy this experience from the bread, veggies and fruit with delicious fondue cheese, choice of meats that you can enjoy at your own liking and let’s not forget the chocolate with all the sweets you get. The Oreo covered marshmallows were a crowd favorite and you can ask for extras on some items which was another added help with having our five kiddos from 9 to 2 years old. We survived and so can you. We have been here before on a date night just me and my wife loved it and thought the kids could enjoy it too. No matter what the occasion you can’t go wrong at the Melting Pot in Gatlinburg. Memories are the only thing you can create when you are at the Melting Pot. We will be back again.
Celebrating our anniversary at The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt intimate and inviting—perfect for a special evening together. The cozy lighting, elegant setting, and thoughtful touches made it feel like the restaurant was designed for moments just like ours. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated, treating us with genuine warmth and care. Every course was an experience in itself—the cheese fondue was rich and comforting, the entrées were fresh and flavorful, and the chocolate fondue at the end was the sweetest way to close out the night. Sharing each dish together made the evening feel even more personal and memorable. What stood out most was how the whole experience encouraged us to slow down, savor the food, and enjoy each other’s company. It wasn’t just dinner—it was a celebration of us, and The Melting Pot provided the perfect setting. We’ll always remember this anniversary dinner, and we can’t wait to come back for another special occasion.
Nice place with a fun dining experience, however we did have pretty large waits better courses, we know severs have other tables and they could have been doing a number of things such as giving us plenty of time to finish courses, but our drinks weren’t being refilled until the food was getting changed out, which really sucked especially with the high price tag. If you are vegetarian you have to share the broth with everyone else, so be mindful of that. The cheese and the dessert was amazing but i didn’t like the garden pot they offered. Overall the food was okay, plan to be here for about 1-2 hours due to the type of dining experience.
We had a great time at The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg. The food was delicious, the service was spot-on, and the kids absolutely loved cooking their own food at the table. It turned dinner into more of an experience than a meal, which is always a win when you're trying to keep a family entertained after a long day in the Smokies. The drinks were fantastic too - easily one of the highlights for the adults. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and our server did a great job walking us through the different courses. The only downside is the price. It’s definitely on the higher end, and while the quality is solid, it’s one of those places you enjoy but also quietly hope your kids don’t develop a weekly craving for. Still, for a special outing or vacation treat, it hits the mark. Overall, great food, great service, great experience - just be ready for the bill at the end.
The very small booth is intimate but in my opinion, too small. Plus the seat itself has no cushioning left. Food? Good but when you consider price to portion ratio....over priced.
In all my visits in the past to melting pot, they made the cheese portion of the fondue right in front of you. Now they just bring it out and it was cold. The service was subpar for the atmosphere and their reputation. They couldn’t even take the stem off of the grapes.
We had a great time and the food was delicious; the steak lovers option is a must! Dessert was wonderful as well. If you’re going for a nice anniversary dinner, I’d recommend making a reservation for private dining! Our server was super unfriendly, that’s the only reason we didn’t rate 5 stars.
We got the $140 4 course feast and paid an extra $20 to have private seating. When we arrived we were sat after around 10 minutes. (we had a reservation) Service was a touch slow at the beginning but our server Dan told us how crazy it was and once he got caught up he was absolutely on it. The first course was a cheese fondue with all different types of goodies to dip. The cheese was alright. We got the bacon bacon bacon and honestly it was nothing to write home about. The 2nd course was a salad and we got the bacon salad which was good with the wine and garlic seasoning provided. The third course was the meat course and we got salmon, tuna, filet, chicken, and we got a side of duck. They were unfortunately out of shrimp and our server said they added extra salmon but it had 5 pieces like several other meats. We had the coq au vin sauce to cook in and this course was delicious, but for the price point the amount of meat given was a touch disappointing. The last course was chocolate fondue and we got the flaming turtle. The put some kind of oil on top and did flambé it right in front of us which was cool. This dish was good and all the goodies we got to dip were also good. Also shoutout to Dan for writing "Engaged" with some rings and hearts since we were there celebrating our engagement. All in all the whole experience took us right at 3 hours to do. I think if we go back we would just do an entree and dessert fondue.
Love The Melting Pot! This time around our service was not up to expectation but the food was still exceptional! Our waiter just seemed in a hurry to leave every time he was at our table. We were here on a Sunday afternoon and they were NOT busy. There was only 3 other tables besides us. All and all still absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for food alone!
Cheese was good. Salads were ok-ish. Not as good as expected. We had steak lovers and land and sea for our main entrees. Except for chicken and shrimps I would not recommend any of the other items in there. I have had way better steaks and fish in the melting pot experience. Honestly, they need to educate their servers about what they are selling. We tried asking ours a couple of times but we felt like he didn’t know either. Or he just didn’t feel like telling us. Had chocolate turtle for the dessert and that was simply amazing. I would go there for the dessert but other than that would not recommend.
This place is good for dessert not for having no a meal. We had a full 2 people course which was $99 something. It was not that much worth it. The cooking time was taking a while and then the food was not that good either. Dessert was good the chocolate melt was good. Other than that nothing. If you want a fine dine in and want to be pampered don’t go here as you will have to cook yourself lol.
We were sat at a large table for 6+ people as a party of 4. Unfortunately even the adults couldn’t reach the pots in the middle. We had to stand up and down to cook our food. Luckily we had been to a similar place before and knew sort of what to expect, because we were given no direction on how to choose or cook the foods. Beware of the smores chocolate. Even after the flambé and a good stir, we still got straight alcohol soaked graham crackers.
I've went to this Melting Pot several times when we visit Gatlinburg. Every time has been great. Unfortunately, this go around was no so good. The food is good as always, but our server was terrible. Very dry personality, and acted like he was too busy to deal with us. Took way too long to get out food out. They weren't even that busy and his excuse was he was busy with another table. I usually never leave bad reviews, but when you spend almost 400 bucks on a meal, I expect a little better service. I still left 20% gratuity, but feel I shouldn't have gave him a dime, but I'm just not that type of person.
We are huge melting pot fans and have gone to many across the country. The service at this location was very disappointing. We went the day after Valentine’s Day to avoid the rush. We sat in the bar waiting for our table and no bartender was present for the first 15 min of our wait. Our food was not prepared at the table like normal. We had friends with us who needed clarification on the menu and the answer was not helpful. We felt like we were an inconvenience and we were rushed through our dinner sadly. For the price we pay at this restaurant we have expectations and standards from previous experiences and this was sadly very disappointing. The food was very good however.
We have been to this location before and it was fine, this time was a joke. Our waitress was really sweet and absolutely no issues with her. The food was disgusting. The duck tasted like cleaner. I brought it up and she said the cooks said it is the marinade. That is gross and it shouldn't taste like cleaner. We also had 2 beard hairs in our meat. We stopped eating the food after that. None of us have facial hair, i should add. We brought that up to the manager and she apologized and took $20 off my $200 bill. So we paid $200 for food that tasted like cleaner and had beard hairs in it. I understand you are paying for the ambiance but $200 for hair and cleaner is a bit much. We won't be going back again.
We had reservations for 9:15 on 2/14/26, we didn't get seated until 10:30. We were seated at a one burner table when it We were two couples. Our waiter instead of taking our drink order brought us water instead. Then when my husband asked for diet coke and my brother-in-law a regular coke he didn't even ask me or my sister-in-law what we wanted. There were mixed drinks included with the Valentine's dinner and I got one, so did my sister-in-law. He didn't even get that right and he wrote it down to make sure. It took him 15 minutes to bring out the diet coke and regular coke. We put our order in and he brought out the cheese sat it down but never turned on the burner, my husband had to after 10 minutes waiting for him to come back. He comes and sits our salads with the meat plates on the table behind us. So my husband thinks he's going to start handing them out when we haven't even begun to eat the cheese. Oh no, he sits them there and leaves them out in the open. No cover, people walking by constantly, covering things, sneezing and just nasty. Once the cheese warms up we start eating it and he comes by and says "Are you ready for your salads?" At this point we're ready to get out of there. We say yes, so he goes past our salads on the table behind us goes to the back for 10 minutes comes out and says "Oh right your salads." We get our salads and the cheese by then is gone. We eat our salads and he puts the one pot on the burner for four people to cook in. He doesn't explain anything as he hands out the meat plates. My husband says "Where's the rescue spoon?" He says "Oh yeah." Goes in the back grabs one and puts it directly into the pot. That's a big no, no. My husband immediately takes it out and lays it behind the pot. So we start eating and we need refills, he never comes by until my brother-in-law flags him down about the refills. The waiters response "Oh I was back there jibber jabbing away and forgot." That was strike three. My husband flagged the manager down and told her everything and she thought it wad the new guy turns out he's been there for awhile. I would not and will not be going back to this Melting Pot ever again. It's ridiculous that you overbook your restaurant on Valentine's Day and keep taking reservations and then have servers like this. We didn't get done until after 1am. We were tired and had to drive to our cabin in Pigeon Forge to go to bed. Time we got back it was after 1:30am. Like I said never again, we left chocolate in the pot that's how mad, tired and done with this place was. Even though the manager changed out our waiter which pissed off the bad waiter and we got a awesome one for the last part of the experience we were already past our boiling point. Think twice if you go here and I wish I could report this to corporate because I would. If I could give no stars I would because this is the worse Melting Pot I've ever been to in my life and it needs to be investigated or something. I don't know how it has 4.4 stars.
