Came in on Valentines with my girlfriend and the bartender (Megan) was friendly and outgoing as were the locals. I have been looking for somewhere to go that was closer to home and I have found it. We only had drinks but the food look good and plan on coming back soon to try the food and see knew friends that were made in the short time we were there.

The Hangout was fantastic! The cozy, upbeat vibe with warm lighting and lively music set the perfect tone. Our server and bartender, Deaven, was a star—his energy, wit, and spot-on drink recommendations made the night. The food came hot and perfect, and the specialty shots were a delicious hit. The Hangout is a gem, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

To be honest, I was skeptical going in, because I remember it being the old "pirate's club", but it was a breathe of fresh air. It was clean, cool, bright and cheery. The staff was friendly, with lot's of smiles. The karaoke brought me there, but the atmosphere made me feel welcome. For the people who remember the old place, this isn't it. It is family friendly with amazing food and is worth a visit. Do not let your memories keep you from this little slice of life. You will be so thankful for giving this place a shot. New owner, new management, new atmosphere and new life in a good location.

Atmosphere was awesome! Server was very kind and personable. Food was good, but the portion was odd - I ordered a burger and fries & it was a very small amount. I felt like I was eating a kids meal. We were all in shock about the size of the burger basket, Other than that it was a good experience. Bread on burger was a little hard. Super cool place overall

This is the place to be on Friday nights! Trivia, food, drinks, music bingo and prizes! Fun night with my co-workers! It is family friendly fun as well! A couple of weeks later went back with my family on Saturday and enjoyed lunch. The steak tacos are amazing! But my favorite item on the menu is the loaded fries. The fried chicken tastes homemade, not processed like many restaurants have gone to.

The food was delicious! It was a perfect place for our whole family! We were a table of 11 and there was something for all ages to do, games were available while we waited for our food. We played domino's at the table while the guys played pool!! Drinks were delicious!!! The server was as sweet as could be! Staff was super friendly! We will definitely be back!!

The burgers are great! We reccomend the candied bacon and jalapeño burger, BBQ burger and Chipotle burger. Our server was very attentive . The burgers are huge! You'll probably need a to go box.

Bonus they also have a great weekly line up of entertainment for the whole community and beyond to enjoy! This is one hangout that is truly awesome to hangout at!!

Honestly this is a hidden gem. Food is amazing, bartender (Nikki) is perfect, and really the vibe is just too good for such a small town. The beer is ice cold, burgers are better than In & Out, and there is always something fun to do. Pool tables, live bands, comedy shows etc. The owners know what they’re doing for sure!! Highly recommend!

Such a neat little out of the way treat. Staff is friendly, beer is cold, and the food is fantastic. Great live and unique entertainment options. It’s a great little place to hang out and have a nice night out.

The Hangout is a great addition to Lake Hawkins. They have made many improvements since first opening. The food and drink is well worth the visit. The staff is very friendly. If you visited early on you should visit again, you won't be disappointed.

The burgers are great! We reccomend the candied bacon and jalapeño burger, BBQ burger and Chipotle burger. Our server was very attentive . The burgers are huge! You'll probably need a to go box.

Came at a bad time but I know this place is awesome. The tacos looked they were made in a prison and it was hard getting served on a jammed packed Friday night. The game room was exceptional and atmosphere was great. Will come back again when they are fully staffed.

The 3rd time we stopped in to eat, we were informed of a cover charge for an event that was happening 2.5 hrs later. We would've gladly paid the cover if we were staying, but had other plans that night. We offered to purchase food to go, but was told we'd still need to pay a cover. Another couple came in at the same time and asked the same thing. We both left and went somewhere else down the road. We spent $72 at the other joint and were home within an hr and half from the time we left here. Point being, if there's a cover, maybe wait to charge it 20-30 mins before it starts, instead of 2.5 hrs before. We will definitely go back, we'll just call before driving out to verify cover charges!

I don't blame the bartender/waitress tonight since she had so much on her plate for a slow night . We are visiting from dallas and decided to come here since it was close to us and open late . But it took us a 1hour to get our food despite that it only 8 people in the entire building. The menus has different prices so we was over charged for certain items . I was trying to have patience for the worker because she was not only serving drinks but also had to make all the food as well/which was not fair , but i see that they are trying to cut costs by not having a cooker . The owner was there trying to make a deal with investors or whatever and didn't really care about the service in her establishment unless she was getting all she needed for her meeting , including varies of items on the menu . We spent 100 dollars for burgers that was not good and shots that wasnt even full ounces . The bartender was nice and i really feel bad for leaving this review but i feel like the owner or manager should review this and hopefully make changes . Will not be there again . Hope things changes.
