First time there and it was surprisingly a peaceful atmosphere. Our waiter was amazing, we ordered 2 appetizers which were the fried artichoke and the fresh sautéed mushrooms.. Definitely a 5/5 then we ordered Smoked Salmon linguine, eggplant with pasta, pescurrini I think that's how u spell it..anyhow it was a great spot..

GREAT RELAXED ATMOSPHERE. FAMILY FRIENDLY. INDOOR OR OURDOOR SEATING. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS ESPECIALLY THE FETTUCCINE ALFREDO W PRAWNS.I HAD A GREAT NIGHT OUT W FAMILY AS IM HERE VISITING FROM ARIZONA. OUR WAITER WAS GREAT AS WELL

Really nice restaurant, great service and food was good. Ordered New York steak, but personally feel something was missing to really get that overall 5 star steak. Also ordered the seafood Ala Cacciucco, also very good but seemed like something was missing as well, maybe a little more spicy or a little more flavor. Overall about a 4.5 star rating. Will definitely be returning and trying some more items on their menu.

The overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The service stood out—our server was formal and attentive, and the dining area was clean and inviting, with crisp white paper tablecloths and clean restrooms. The pizza and lasagna were both very good—flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the chicken parmigiana, which was dry and overcooked. The penne pasta was cooked nicely, but the sauce left much to be desired—it lacked depth, with no trace of basil or garlic, which felt especially odd given the restaurant’s location in the garlic capital of California. I shared my thoughts with the server, who was courteous and thanked me for the feedback. While there were some definite highlights, the inconsistency in the food keeps me from giving a higher rating.

Original review to this restaurant is below this review. So, we are back in the area and kids mentioned eating here for dinner. Why not right? Especially since we are back in the area. This second experience was so much more different that I may not eat here again if ever back in the area. This second time around, a family who got seated after us got more attention than we did. They got their food first before we did. The last six pictures are from our second trip. Notice the difference in the Tropical Cosmo from the first trip? Being busy is no excuse for serving another family who got seated after us to be served first before us. That family and our family had the same waitress. Maybe we'll be back, but we may most likely take our business elsewhere from here on. If I could, I would go back to eat there right now!! The only thing, limited selection on cocktail drinks. My kids asked to go back there to eat, and believe me we will be back if we are ever in the area again!! We ate outside, our server was pretty attentive and our dishes were never on the table long. Delicious. Must eat if in the area.

They refused to honor a Mama Mia's gift certificate simply because the location that issued it has since closed. All four original locations are listed on the gift certificate. There is no indication anywhere that it must be used where it was purchased. They stated it was "too old" and they don't accept them "anymore". It is illegal in California for a gift certificate to expire or not be honored for being too old.

Don’t recommend the chicken with sauce. The way they cook the sauce and cheese over the chicken makes the breading of the chicken very wet and soggy. Breaded chicken should be crispy.

🙅🏻‍♀️This restaurant has nothing to do with Italy and Italian cuisine. do not have the right to call themselves Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. ❌🚷terrible cooking, not fresh, not tasty. 🙅🏻‍♀️🥴🤮the food was cooked not today, not just now. food is half cooked and this food is stored in the refrigerator and then simply reheated before serving. because of this, the food is not tasty and stomach problems, discomfort, heartburn. We traveled around California. after visiting Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park my 3 year old wanted to eat pasta with cheese and my husband and I were hungry too. we are from Europe and I was looking on Google for a restaurant with European cuisine and found this restaurant Mama Mia's Mediterranean and Italian Cuisine near the park. I looked at the photos in the reviews and made a screen of the menu to immediately show the waiter what we want. when we sat down at the table, I showed the waitress a screen of the menu from the reviews in Google and asked if they had one? The waitress answered yes. I asked will it be exactly the same? the waitress answered yes. 10 minutes later the waitress brought other dishes. instead of pasta with melted cheese and chicken pieces, it was mashed potatoes with one large piece of chicken fillet and a little grated cheese and tomato on top. my husband was hungry and he angry 😖just began to eat what they brought. we didn’t eat all day until evening and didn’t want to look for a restaurant again with the child and wait for cooking because it’s difficult with a child. and we are already tired after a long drive and active rides in the park. I went up to the waitress and said that it’s not pasta and I don’t want mashed potatoes. the child does not like and does not eat it. The child was waiting specifically for pasta with cheese! 🍝🧀 she said ok i'll bring you extra pasta and brought pasta separately on a plate and a tomato on top. I was confused.😳😨🫣🤦‍♀️ the waitress said that this is almost the same as I showed a screenshot from the menu in Google reviews 😦 🤦‍♀️🤯what impudence, stupidity. The child did not eat it and I did not eat it either. the child was left hungry without food. I'm not talking about myself and my husband. For us, the main thing was to give good food to the child! The chicken was undercooked and hard. mashed potatoes are not fresh, from which my husband had heartburn. We also ordered soup and salad. a bowl of soup they have is 4 tablespoons in a very small bowl for sauce. their salad is just green leaves without anything else, such as cheese, croutons, olive oil. just take the leaves out of the bag and put them on a plate. these lettuce leaves are sold in all stores in packages, but only there they put cheese and crackers inside pack . in the restaurant lettuce without anything at all. ❌🚷❌ spoiled mood, again wasting time looking for good food for the child after this restaurant, discomfort in the husband's stomach after eating at this restaurant. terrible place. The name of this restaurant is not "Mediterranean and Italian Cuisine, but "cheap low-quality fast food"!💯

Good customer service, but the food wasn't what I expected 😕 the paella was awful!!! The veal was very salted Appetizers were better It might be a good place to eat for some people not for me😕
