I want to start with this: I do recommend this place. Better not to consider Yelp or Google review's low rate. Go and try it. If you wonder why, please read the post. We had a birthday party there, reserved a big table for all of us. I was so busy with friends so I could not take enough photos for you. Anyway, when half of our friends arrived. They started to bring appetizers which were alot, some of us thought those are the food. Later they brought the main course. I don't want to give you sentences just about what they brought, enough to say they were all delicous. All of them. All staff were taking care of us. Though the resutrant was pact with people. They gave us a decent service. About this resutrant I can say: 1. They all are so nice, staff, manager, singer... 2. You could have hookah outside in the lounge but not inside ( you migh ask who smokes inside the resturant, then I say just go to westwood, you'll find one😐). So, the inside is smoke-free. 3. All foods they brought for our table were delicous 4. They do not accept multiple cards. You should ask your friends being cash or one of you pay for it. 5. Each of you could have separate check for your drinks (helpful) 6. Parking: street parking is available but you need to look for one. The resturant has valet parkin, not sure about the price. 7. You should go there hungry if you have a party there. You'll eat good foods😋. 8. They'll take care of your birthday cake, so dont worry about cutting it. They are awesome 9. They have good entertainment on weekends. 10. Singer, the guy, has a good voice 11. There is a dance floor and it's big enough for at least 30 If I remember more I'll update the post. I’m not sure why the reviews for Phoenicia Restaurant are so terrible because my experience was genuinely good! The food was flavorful, the service was attentive, and the overall vibe was welcoming. One standout was Tony, the manager—he was awesome! He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and was so friendly that I couldn’t believe we were living in the same city. He truly elevated the entire experience. I also love that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating options, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred ambiance. The outdoor patio is especially nice if you’re in the mood for hookah, which they also offer—a great touch for a relaxing evening. If you’re craving Lebanese cuisine and want a spot with good food, great service, and a laid-back vibe, Phoenicia is worth giving a shot.

My daughter and I visited Phoenicia last Saturday night to celebrate her birthday. I chose this restaurant because I have been to Lebanon and absolutely LOVE the food and people!! We were not disappointed with the food - extensive menu, excellent presentation and value. We ordered the Mezze platter for two. We were seated inside and we were the only ones inside this very large dining venue (esp. for a Saturday night - but it may be because we arrived early). I would have tasted this restaurant 5/5 except for the lack of attentive service. After we were seated, we were forgotten about for a good while and even after our first platter was served, we tried and tried to attract the male waiter's attention to ask him if he could take our photo but we were ignored again.

This review is for their banquet room specifically. I’ve been a dj at this venue a few times now. It’s nice for smaller parties between 100-150 guests. Usually for more casual events. Not ideal for wedding in my opinions. They do have some sound restrictions because there are homes nearby. That’s something to think about because they asked me to put the volume down even though I only used 2 12” speakers. My speakers are loud, but still, you won’t be able to blast the music. The food was good. Maybe not as much variety as other venues. Parking on the street is limited, so you’ll probably have to valet unless you’re ok to walk a bit. The seating outside seems nice and a good place to gather with friends on weekends.

Solana Beach

Long time customers, we recently came here for the birthday dinner at 6 pm. The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was just mediocre. Unfortunately, the outdoor setup made the experience extremely uncomfortable: large umbrellas trapped the heat, making it unbearably hot, some guests leaving early because of it. As much as we enjoyed the food, we won’t be back during the summer unless the restaurant invests in a retractable awning or better cooling solution.

Nice outside atmosphere, food is good but average. Humus and mutabbal were overloaded with tahini, definitely not prepared by a Lebanese chef. These are the traditional signature dishes for any Lebanese restaurant to me judged by. Very disappointing. In fact the while menu flavors felt non-authentic. If you didn't grow up in the Lebanese culture you won't know any better. Service was A+.

It's a very nice restaurant, however that's all. Ordered the hummus and cucumber salad, which was $25.00 total. Food decent, but honestly, they gave me pita bread still in the grocery packaging. By the looks of the restaurant, I just expected more.

Unbelievably noisy even after 10 PM. This establishment is located right next to residential housing, and the noise level is completely unacceptable for people who need to wake up early for work. I don’t understand how they were granted a license in the first place. I will be reporting this to the city if nothing changes.

Their level of music at nights past 10:00pm is tremendously loud and so disturbing. There are people who work on weekends or elderlies who need to rest. They have no respect to the neighbors and this neighborhood. Unprofessional staff and management, please act like an adult and have some understanding. Will address this issue to the city.

Neighborhood nuisance that plays music past 10pm on nights I have work the next day. I’m typing this on a Sunday night at 10:47. I call and ask them to turn it down and they never cease. Unbelievable this place can be playing music so loud in a family neighborhood. Going to talk to the city of Glendale or get a petition going. Food is ok and gets the one star.

Staff and management are very rude . You get welled at to order. Or might get a yed without having your order sent. I didn’t like their way of speaking to our table . Food was decent barbecue was tender. But will not go again I don’t like to be treated this way again.

Unfortunately, my experience was terrible from the start. The employee, Basel, was intentionally making mistakes with the order and kept ignoring us. He was extremely unprofessional. The rest of the staff weren’t any better, and the overall service was slow and careless. The management is just as bad — clearly no supervision or interest in customer satisfaction. The food portions were very small, the prices were ridiculously high, and the whole experience was not worth it at all. I would never come back and absolutely do not recommend this place.
