⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) We came into Din Tai Fung around 12–12:30 PM and got lucky with perfect timing. Even though this location is huge with tons of indoor and outdoor seating, it wasn’t very busy when we arrived. No wait at all, and there were seats available at the bar, so we walked right in and sat down. This was our first time at this location (we’ve been to many others), and it did not disappoint. David was our server/bartender and he was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Food came out quickly and everything was amazing classic Din Tai Fung consistency. Every dish we ordered was great, and we even took some home. You can always count on the food being solid here, which is why I love this place. By the time we were leaving, a line had started to form and it was getting busy, so we definitely hit it at the right time. Overall, a great experience and always a go-to spot.

Outstanding dumplings and such a fresh and delicious experience! Our waiter was knowledgeable and so attentive it really helped enhance the experience. I think my best bite was the shrimp pork spicy wontons, the chili sauce was subtle but with a kick while offering a big bite with large pieces of shrimp. Next time I’d skip the shao mai, they’re presentable but offer very limited taste, especially if familiar with shao mai. I always say over order and a perfect option for groups of 2-4 since everything is sharing. Loved that you can now join waitlist remotely and even reservations! Also this restaurant is in a mall, not close to any of the parking lots, we just parked on the street and walked a few blocks to avoid that mall.

It was both my daughter and my first time eating at this restaurant. We both had been wanting to try it, and finally had the opportunity over the weekend (Saturday). The wait can be intense depending on the day and time you get there. We arrived pretty late in the day, around 3 I would say. We waited about 40 minutes. Which didn’t seem too long because we walked around the mall shopping. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I tried a variety of foods. My favorite was the dumplings. My daughter really liked the baby back pork. Depending on the type of noodles, the flavor can be different. Chicken, the flavor was bland, but with their sauce to the broth, your meal will be delicious. Next time we go, we will try their dessert. We heard good things about their desserts.

Just wanna say Ash, our host, was amazing! He set such a great vibe from the start — super funny, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. He even checked in on us later, which really showed how much he cared. Definitely made our visit memorable! Our server Monica was so kind too and caring, everything was great ! Food was amazingg

After what seems like forever, I finally got to try Din Tai Fung. I'l list what we ordered and give a review at the end! Brace yourselves: Matcha milk tea. Amaretto sour. Cucumber salad. Pork Xiao Long Bao. Chicken fried rice. Bok Choy. Garlic green beans. Noodles with spicy sauce. And lastly, the chocolate & mochi Xiao long bao w/ cream sauce. I won't lie. I went in with no expectations solely because it is so popular. I was worried it might be overhyped, but I was wrong. Everything was so delicious. The chocolate mochi was my favorite though and a must get. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress is so friendly, and so bubbly, I would love to have her again on my next visit. They blew me away & per my friends it’s consistent. So do with that information what you will, but I say it's worth the visit!

1st time experience was a 10/10. Hello friends! This is the third Din Tai Fung I’ve visited—first in Oregon, then Washington, and now LA. All of them are consistently good, but I’ve noticed each location shines with certain dishes. Here in LA, the pork fried rice stands out as the best I’ve had—so tender, flavorful, and absolutely memorable! Service has been excellent at every location as well—welcoming, friendly, and attentive.

The food is always delicious, the service is always very prompt and with the food coming out as it’s prepared, there ends up being a very steady stream of it! This is my go-to spot to take clients out for lunch meetings and for gatherings with friends! The only downside is the cap on 6 people per reservation. Chocolate XLB is the best!!

I had such a great time at Din Tai Fung in The Americana, Glendale! The moment I walked in, I could tell it was one of those places that’s fancy but still comfortable. The vibe is sleek and modern without being too stuffy, and it really set the tone for a fun evening. We were seated right away thanks to our reservation, which was a huge win. The staff was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Everything went smoothly from the start, which was exactly what you want when you're hungry and excited. Now, the food. It was amazing. We kicked things off with the Cucumber Tower, which was super refreshing and packed with flavor. Then we had the Chicken Noodle Soup, which was the perfect comfort food—so rich and satisfying. The Pork and Chicken Dumplings were absolutely delicious, with the perfect mix of textures. And for dessert, we went for the Chocolate Dumplings, which were so good. The warm, melty chocolate inside was the perfect end to the meal. As for parking, it’s not free, so I ended up parking in the mall lot nearby. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush. At least you get to walk around The Americana, which is always a nice touch. Overall, I had such a positive experience. The food, the vibes, and the service were all spot on. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to, and I’d highly recommend it if you're in the area!

This restaurant was on our list. We tried to get in without a reservation a couple of times. The wait time was too long. I made an online reservation and the available date was 3 days after my preferred date and time. We tried it for the first time at the Glendale location. I still don't get what all the fuss is about this restaurant. We tried 4 or 5 dishes. We liked 2. That famous dim sum dumplings (we got pork and chicken) tasted too porky, and I tasted the raw dough. The beef with veggies was good. The quality of the filet mignon was good. The service was 5-star. Our waitress, Crystal, was very professional and smiley. The overall atmosphere was so-so. We had that feeling of urgency, like we had limited time to eat and go.

The atmosphere can get a bit loud with large parties. Otherwise great staff, shout out to our server Alvin for helping us celebrate our wonderful colleagues 21st birthday. I had the chicken dumplings, the chicken noodles, chicken bag buns, and the chocolate bag buns. Safe to say delicious. My colleagues all agree the lychee Martinee was delicious.

Servicio rápido y educado. La parrillada de carne muy bien de 10, el pollo en su punto no estaba nada seco, el cordero con sabor. Hay que venir pronto porque se llena de gente rápido

Hemos comido muy bien, el gazpacho con la picada muy bueno, la paella y las galtas con su salsa riquísima, el pollo a la brasa, patatas a la riojana. Lo único malo los garbanzos que se habían pelado todos y estaban los pellejitos sueltos y se podrían mejorar las patatas fritas, son congeladas y muy muy aceitosas, en un sitio donde hay brasa la patata debería ser natural. Y de los postres la crema catalana es una pena que no la tengan en carta un jueves. Los camareros amables.

Calçotada buena y abundante. Buena calidad de la comida. Tiene terraza exterior donde da el sol y tomar una cerveza o un vermut. Atención rápida y muchos camareros. Los viernes hacen karaoke y baile el sábado

Buen sitio para comer, bien en general. Atentos y serviciales. Volvería sin dudar aunque no hay nada en especial que destaca, la experiencia es satisfactoria.

I've been here a few times, old location and new, and the food is always great but a bit pricey. It's always busy so it often takes a good minute to be seated, order, and receive your food. They won't seat you without the entire party present due to high demand.

This place is bigger then I thought. The decor is amazing, it transcends you to another place. They have outdoor seating for those nice spring days and even bar seating. Every single staff member we encounter is friendly, helpful and you can tell they enjoy they do. The food is tasty, not in the top for my dumplings, but the environment helps. If you go you need to order the Korean style pork ribs, this dish is “WOW” you will thank me later. Don’t waste your time on the fried rice, I’m a fried rice guy, and I was disappointed. Make a reservation several days is advance because time slots fill up fast. Be on time because they will give your time slot away. Let know what you think

Servicio nuevo, estando en la parra. No estaban atentos en recoger platos o cubiertos usados en la mesa. Pedias y tardaban en llegar. Comida de calçots ilimitados... bueno, si quieres calçots ilimitados pero poco hechos, pequeños y que tardan... salsa buena pero escasa. Servicios sin papel. Pagas por mesa, no se puede dividir.

I think the atmosphere and the service of the place is great and may warrant a fancy get up. I must warn this place is quite expensive for what I think, is lack luster. The food it self, is above okay at best. I’ve tried a few dumpling places and they all taste too doughy. Even if that is personal preference, I think the food does lack any complexity. Referring to placing like Pick Up sticks, I think it’s night and day difference in pricing, complexity, and overall value for the food. The famous dumplings and soup dumplings are also okay, they don’t have an inherent complexity and its simplicity is too basic to say much about it. As I said similar to another similar place, I think the Costco dumplings are better and way more cost effective for the prices. The desert dumplings were good, with a nice wake milk chocolate inside. I think you should check this place out to see if it’s your cup of tea. I would also highly recommend you try the Costco dumplings or simply visit pick up sticks to reference the complexity I talk about in these reviews (Not sponsored).

Este fin de semana fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi marido y la verdad que me llevé una gran decepción. No pueden poner una camarera nueva y sola en un cumpleaños de 18 personas, las bebidas entraban en el menú y la segunda había que pagar pues la verdad que la camarera no nos dijo eso,nos dijo que entraban en el menú cuando no es cierto. La verdad que me llevado mucha decepción y muy mal organizado

Hemçs ido a celebrar la Navidad i una Verguenza, 40 euros el menú, de entrantes pussieron un platito de patatas chips i por encima 4 trozos de fuet, i despues una tapita de olivas i quatro morros de bolsa. De primero me pedí sopa de galets i la sopa no tenia ni una triste pelota de carne, i el caldo sabia a caldo gallina blanca de pote. Super caro por lo que pusieron, no lo recomiendo para nada.

Hem anat avui i la relació qualitat-preu és dolenta. Menjar de baixa qualitat, la salsa dels calçots super mal feta, la graellada de verdures la majoria estaven crues, bastant desastrós. 38 e perun menú que no s'ho valia. El servei deficient, pocs cambrers i temps d'espera llargs... No tornarem més evidentment. La mestressa antipàtca i maleducada. Local brut, el llum del wc no funcionava....

Vergonzoso el servio y la comida, han tardado 30 min en traer los calcots fríos y 40 min. en traer la parrillada. Han mandado un chaval a darnos una explicación y al final a venido el encargado y nos ha dicho que estaba desbordados y nos han puesto la parrillada y la judías en el mismo táper, como si fuera comida para perros. Una vergüenza, eso si nos han cobrado el total de la factura. No vayáis es un consejo.

Nada recomendable. Lentos en el servicio y mala cocina. Sirvieron un solomillo cocinado que estaba frio de nevera por dentro. Una vergüenza. El all i oli no era más que mayonesa con ajo y las alubias blancas no se habían salteado y nos las sirvieron frías. Hemos pagado casi 90€ por comer mal. No volveremos. Espero que sirva a otros para no caer y a los dueños para mejorar.
