The staff’s attention to detail — both in hospitality and in the presentation of each dish — really stood out. The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked, the scallops were spot on, and the fried brie with berry pastry was absolutely delicious. I dine out for work most nights and travel about 70% of the time across the country, so I’ve experienced a lot of restaurants. It was a fun surprise to discover this hidden gem while waiting for traffic to clear. Definitely worth the stop.
Talk about a hidden gem in our valley!! This place was a breath of fresh air. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection!!! The clam chowder was superb so creamy and so many clams. We got the 3 course dinner and we left the place stuffed and soooo satisfied. I will be back over and over again. I WILL ALDO BE TELL ALLMY FRIENDS AND FAMILY A MUST DO♥️♥️ Thank you Silvia for making us feel like family, I will see you soon 😍
I want to truly thank this establishment for being a hidden gem!! Brought my mom and close family for a fine dining experience for my moms birthday and let me just say it was a lovely experience, as you walk in you are greeted warmly by Sylvia who is just the most amazing server/ hostess, there were a couple of parties still there and mine were accommodated just fine, we all got different plates but all had its amazing taste and unique flavor for the palate, I enjoyed the beef Wellington as it was cooked to perfection, and the desserts were divine overall it was a positive experience and I will be sure to come back as it is definitely a staple to the valley and fine dining cuisine
Best Beef Wellington and Crab Cakes I’ve ever had! My teenage daughter loved the Beef Ravioli and cleaned up her plate. The bread pudding was delicious. Customer service is outstanding. Sylvia made us feel like their home guests and the chef was so kind to come out and explained the sauce on the Beef Ravioli. Since my daughter is lactose intolerant, the chef was very considerate to offer substitute. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Highly recommended!
Return Visit Review – As promised, we came back—and somehow, our second dining experience topped the first! This time we brought good friends along to share the magic. Sylvia greeted us by name—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly welcome. The corkage fee here is unbelievably reasonable, which let us enjoy a couple of favorite bottles from our cellar alongside dinner. I ordered the Beef Wellington, and it was absolute perfection—beautifully presented, cooked with precision, and the filet was as tender as silk. I especially appreciated that the chefs timed our entrées so the entire table was served together—something I’ve only seen at top-tier Michelin-rated restaurants. CF Kitchen has quickly become our “meet-in-the-middle” favorite, and I have no doubt we’ll be dining here for years to come. Original review - What a gem! Sylvia provided excellent, warm, service. The 3-course meal option was very reasonable and filling. My lamb shank was beautifully cooked. Both the berry tart and bread pudding were delicious. The wine-by-the-glass offering was impressive. Friendly staff, amazing food, my wife enjoyed her Wagyu beef ravioli,, i enjoyed my Beef Wellington... house Cesar salad, Crab Cake, and Clam Chowder as an Appetizer was great portioning... we paid $110 total.. would definitely comeback to try more of the menu! 🫡
The cuisine is mostly American Continental, with welcoming, friendly, and attentive service. Attention to detail is given to every dish, at least the ones we've had. Ever since we first ate here, we knew that we'd found a gem. We usually order from the set menu. Instead of traveling to New Orleans or driving to Beverly Hills, we come here to enjoy some good regional U.S. inspired dishes. Highly recommend.
WOW, WOW, WOW!! What an amazing experience my husband and I had here last night for our anniversary... Silvia was the sweetest, most sincere host and the food, just incredible! I mean, just look at these pics and your mind will be made up to absolutely visit, lol! Great prices for such quality too! Already planning our next trip and we live an hour out!
2025: We started with a Cesar salad and the lobster bisque. Both were outstanding. My wife ordered the Steak Diane. I had the Beef Wellington. I was so impressed that despite me asking for medium, it was flavorful and very moist! The steak Diane was tasty, but we both agreed that the Beef Wellington was the star. Unfortunately, they both disappeared way too fast! For desert, she had the bread pudding and I asked for the fruit tart. Both were great, but the bread pudding was the winner! This is a high quality, but unpretentious restaurant. Sylvia, the hostess is such a wonderful person, who makes everyone feel valued! This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Los Angeles! 2016: You immediately know when someone cares, in this case the owners and managers of this restaurant. Every detail was thought of and well managed, from the amazing food to the cleanliness of the restrooms. This is a gem of a restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. You would have never guessed that it was so good. We had the hummus, the pear salad, the Beef Wellington, Filet Mignon, and the Crab Stuffed Salmon. All were made with that extra bit of care that you hope for in a fine dining restaurant. The server was excellent, checking in at all the appropriate times, and having a personality that lit up the room. Because this is a small restaurant dining room, the guests are all right next to each other. But instead of feeling intrusive, it becomes a festive atmosphere where everyone is part of a community. New friends are made and interesting conversations abound. I have to say this is my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles.

No one would expect this great level of food in a small storefront restaurant in the corner of a little strip center. Delicious, perfect preparation of extremely fine ingredients, nice portions, professional & very friendly service in a comfortable noise level. The chef obviously comes from a great background - that you can taste! I can strongly recommend the ribeye steak, beef Wellington & lamb chops. Very fair & reasonable pricing. This will be one of my favorite restaurants!

I’m impressed with the boxing process and presentation for the food to go. But the reason I come back, sometimes more than once a week, is because the quality of the food is the best around. CF Food Kitchen has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the valley, so it was about time that I wrote my review. Hidden in the corner of a shopping center, one would never guess the wonderful flavors nestled within. With a rotating 3-course menu (typically ranging at a very fair $40-60 price point) and their classic entrees, there is always something delicious and new to try here. Also, since the first day we came here, the server has been very welcoming and hospitable, even seating us at "our" exact table every time we come in. If you want a fine dining experience with incredible food and atmosphere without breaking the bank, CF Food Kitchen is the place to go.
The staff at CF Food Kitchen was so accommodating for our party of 14. They went out of their way to meet all of our needs on short notice, including a beautiful and delicious offering for the vegan in our group! We appreciate everything you did for us and will visit again every time we get a chance. Thank you all!
The food and the service was excellent. We drove all the way from L.A. to have dinner there. It worth the drive. Definitely will go again when we have the chance.

CF Food Kitchen is a pleasing old school mom & pop restaurant of the type that was so charmingly prevalent pre-1980 before the major invasion of soulless, corporate eateries that dispense formulated dreck. Classic Continental Cuisine, Beef Wellington, Steak Diane, Lobster Thermidor, etc. are lovingly recreated with notch ingredients by Chef Flores. Sylvia, hostess with the mostest, is cheerful, lively, vivacious to create the atmosphere of a Homecoming. Definitely a must go.
The food and the service was excellent. We drove all the way from L.A. to have dinner there. It worth the drive. Definitely will go again when we have the chance.
At the corner of Woodley and Devonshire sits CF food kitchen. For more than a decade Chef Flores cooking magics mismirmised the crowd here. The El Salvadorian chef's signature dishes are on display daily for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and dimm. Clean cut with superb table service. The set up is high end and the ambiance warm. Dennis sat us tonight and Sylvia took our oder. This place is best known for its Lamb Shanks and Beef Willington dishes. And that is no accident. The taste is out of this world. The side dishes that are served here are unique especially the gold beet that we had have additional side order of. The desert is a true match to the food in presentation and taste. We were fortunate to meet Chef Flores in person. When I asked "with this taste and signature dishes, do you plan to expand?" He responded " there is only one of me!" We couldn't be happier for the food, service and hospitality we experinced here.

Sylvia, the owner, and her chef husband are doing it right! She is lovely and warm and makes you feel like you are a guest at their home. Very reasonable corkage fee, and the 3-course meal was delicious! Hidden gem for sure in a strip mall, but once you're inside, you'd never know it. Easy parking in the lot or next door. Will definitely return!

A real Gem of a restaurant. High quality European style food with a good selection of wines. I honestly believe this restaurant should get a Michelin rating! Our server Silvia was very attentive and genuine. We felt we had made a real friend by the time we had left. When we visit LA again we will definitely return!
It's honestly a hidden gem, I wish more people knew about this place. Sylvia was incredible she makes you feel at home. The fried Brie is a must have so delicious. I had the pork chop and was the best one I've ever had in my life. Exquisite, I cannot wait to try other items. My boyfriend and I had a great experience. Love this place.
