A group of us reserved spots at the Monday Happy Hour called Caftan and Coktails. A server greeted us at the entrance with a flute of bubbly. We we told to head to the covered balcony after having our names checked off the list of reservations. A bar with a dedicated bartender was set up on the balcony for us. For the $30 admission price we each received two cocktails, so I tried the Tom Collins which was yummy. The food offered was very good. We each received a plate with two jumbo shrimp and cocktail sauce, half of a devilled egg with bacon, some delicious sushi grade tuna bites and guacamole with two crusty toast points. The owner took pictures for our group, and the co-owner circulated along with staff, all of whom were helpful and prompt in meeting our needs. The scene was bright and charming, with everyone decked out in flowing caftans and wild earrings. A great ladies happy hour with friends on a rainy Monday was a great way to begin the week. Well done and bravo, Larkins! My only suggestion to improve the event would be to add a sweet something after the main food offering, maybe petit fours, some chocolate or cookies!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, great service - very attentive. We ordered the ribeye with broccolini and the salmon with jambalaya!

Recently had dinner here and everything was delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass & it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the filet and its was also cooked to perfection. Seems like no one knows how to cook a steak anything over medium rare so I was really surprised that they cooked his so perfectly. I’m very hesitant to order steak when we go out because of how often I’ve been disappointed but I think I will order one next time. We both added on the crab Oscar and the servings were great. Can’t wait to go back!

An impromptu visit while passing through Greenville. Had a great meal, stellar service from Phil, while enjoying an enchanting atmosphere. We started with a couple Proseccos and French onion soup. The soup is fantastic. I followed with a Caesar salad with chicken. It was tasty with moist savory grilled chicken. My wife had the mushroom ravioli - also very nice. I know this is a steak house, but we had lunch and had no room for a large evening meal. Next time.

Our school culinary class had such an amazing experience here at Larkin’s. From the moment we walked in and seated you knew this was going to be a memorable one. Students got to experience a 5 course meal by some amazing chefs. They thoroughly enjoyed coming here and we look forward to where this takes them on their culinary journey. Thank you for allowing us to come and see what an excellent restaurant you are!

Had a fantastic experience at Larkins! Our server, Phil, was wonderful and had great recommendations and stellar service. Our food was absolutely delicious. High price point but I believe it’s worth it for what you get! A true Upstate icon.

This was a birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 celebration that came from Atlanta, GA, for the Jon Crist show and saw Larkin reviews. Soon you step into the restaurant, you are met with pleasant hosts. My two waiters were so great. I felt so special. I never had two waiters before. The manager came to greet me and it was a great atmosphere. I loved the decor of the restaurant. I was not disappointed, but this experience exceeded my expectations. The appetizer was amazing. My entrée was super yummy, and the birthday surprise was memorable. It was a great birthday dinner 🍽 and experience. Thank you

We had such a great time! Bill and Doug were the best. The atmosphere was nice inside and outside where we sat. I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got the filet Oscar. They brought out a crème brûlée for my birthday. Great place!

We've been a couple of times now, and I think the experience is somehow better each time! The portion sizes aren't massive, but you won't walk away hungry. And the flavors are amazing. I got the vanilla creme brulee and it may have been the best I've ever tried. I was very impressed with the service last night; the right amount of attentive without being overbearing. When I had an issue, our waiter somehow noticed almost within seconds. The new location is a much nicer atmosphere. It's more secluded, so even with a huge party next to us we were still able to have a conversation without shouting.

Karma Events

Our company Karma Goddess Event Planning used Larkin's Catering for a wedding we planned in April and had the best experience! The couple had mixed cultural aspects they both wanted to incorporate into their wedding meal and Larkin's had no problem coordinating this request! We had the pleasure of working with Emily and her fantastic team! The event ran smoothly and their professional team was a joy to work with! The grazing table was incredible! Thank you again Larkins!

Larkins, where do I start. This is Greenville's BEST steakhouse. I have had the pleasure of dining here on 3 occasions and every time they get better and better if that is even possible. The restaurant in itself is beautiful with amazing views. The people are nothing short of great and amazing individuals. The food. The food is what I imagine they serve in heaven the filet mignon to be exact. I have never had a bad experience and on 08/24/2024 it was even more amazing then the time before and I thought our visit on Mother's day was great. We came for brunch for my husband birthday and was greeted very welcoming by the hostess. We had a nice booth with a great view and a birthday card for my husband was waiting on our table. Our server Noah was the best! He gave us amazing service was very attentive and just great all around. He brought us a champagne toast to celebrate my husband birthday. We had to have the she crab soup because it is the best! Real crab meat that you can actually see and taste with every bite. We had the Apple Beignets that actually paired great with the soup. My husband had the Brunch Smash Burger that was soo good and I had Croque Madam with breakfast potatoes which were amazing. Then to finish he brought us the creme brulee which you can't be at Larkins and not get. It was the best I have ever had. Our visit in May I had the filet and it was the most tender, melt in your mouth heavenly approved steak I ever tasted! It was so good I had to speak to the managers before we left. Whenever we are in Greenville we have to come to Larkins. You will get nothing but exceptional food, amazing servers that go above and beyond to make sure your experience is nothing short of beyond exceptional. I hate I did not get the manager's name but he was great as well and I had the pleasure of talking to him at the bar before leaving. Larkins keep up the great work and we will be back soon!

Fabulous Sunday brunch at Larkins if they're wonderful new location. I had the Asian beef bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The service was superb as is their hallmark. Check out their new location you will not be disappointed. In fact you'll be wowed!

We went for our anniversary and received incredible service and food! Phil was our waiter and was awesome! Husband had Filet and it was cooked perfectly. I had the Chilean sea bass and Phil recommended the risotto with it and it was perfect! The BLT salad was a large portion and tasted great. Fantastic experience from start to finish! Thanks Phil for making our night so incredibly special!

Found this great restaurant in Greenville. Parking wasn't as easy to figure out. (Plan ahead). But once we got there, Friday, Dec 26th, for a late lunch, and found parking, it was smooth sailing. Our server LeighAnna, (sp?) was charming, articulate on menu choices, and on time with refreshing drinks and appetizers. We passed one table where there was a fresh salad overflowing with great ingredients. I almost ordered salad. The beer selections were good, my drink was well poured, the glass was cold (not straight out of the dishwasher) and we were pleased right away. We started with a crab cake appetizer. It was well prepared, crispy sizzled on the outside and tender in the middle. The lemony beurre blanc made my tongue dance. At $26 for 1 crab cake, it better be good. Then he ordered a golden brown and delicious Reuben off the grill. Mouthwatering. I had the crispy ahi tuna wonton nachos with guacamole crema, sweet soy dressing, and cilantro micro greens. (Not your typical chopped cilantro.) The ahi tuna was generously served. The atmosphere was cosmopolitan chic, the silverware was clean and even a little sparkly, and this was overall a great experience. The outdoor dining area was pet friendly during the warmer days. Great atmosphere, great service, pretty amazing menu, and overall a great choice.

So my wife and I used to go to the location at the river a lot before they moved so it’s been a while since the new location was built so we figured we’d try it out for my wife’s birthday. I made 7 pm reservation they seated us on the roadside balcony that was heated and as it was getting later on a fall evening they shut the close down windows so you had the best of both worlds heated area with a beautiful view. Now here’s where I can’t brag enough, we had the absolute greatest server of all time in Doug Blumenthal. This guy I can’t brag enough on he was absolutely fantastic and whether you’re a walk-in or making a reservation ask for Doug, he even gave us his card with his number so we could just make all of our preparations and reservations through him. Doug really made our night absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t be more thankful to him for it. The food was absolutely divine and their Sunset Rider cocktail was the best over ever had. If you’re in the area go check out Larkins and MAKE SURE you ask for Doug Blumenthal he’s the best in the business, you will not be disappointed!!!!

We had a fabulous brunch here. The restaurant is stunning, very modern with views of Greenville. We sat outside. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable, she recommended the deviled eggs appetizer and it was creative and delicious. We had the smoked salmon benedict, Rueben Benedict and the French toast the flavors were fresh, unique and delicious. The Benedict’s had duck fat potatoes with garlic and Parmesan as a side-just amazing! I highly recommend Larkin’s!

Great happy hour. We enjoyed the deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, and steak frites with parm fries. The steakhouse sliders had great meat, but the sauce and extras on the sliders were too subtle. House old fashioned was watery and dull. House margarita was much better.

Asian Beef Bowl!!!! I’m a foodie and have lots of amazing suggestions to try in downtown Greenville but this one is in the top 3 for sure! The flavor is unbeatable…edamame, crispy onion, radish give it a great crunch, the beef is cooked to perfection, the kimchi aioli should but on everything…it’s honestly the perfect balance and explosion of flavors. They also have a great wine list and the staff are all welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating.

I think for me larkins would be more of a lunch spot than a dinner spot. It was the right amount of food. The drinks were crafted. Well the atmosphere was lovely and it wasn't dealing with crowds and reservations like you would be at the dinner time. Menu selections were excellent.

I made reservations completely blind for a party of 4, actually a ChatGPT recommendation. We arrived on time and were promptly seated. The location, decor and ambiance was excellent. I would call the dress touristy casual. Perfect for a end of day meal of shopping in downtown Greenville or classy enough for an after work drinks and dinner. The waitress was excellent, checked in on us when needed but never interrupted the conversation. The cocktails were well made and the food was excellent. The rack of lamb was superb. My guests said they loved the location and the tone, perfect for friendly conversation. Highly recommend and would go back again.

I would rate more stars of if I could. We had 6 in our party. Food was incredible with stellar service, delicious cocktails, and a fun atmosphere Phil and Doug served us. Phil was exceptional. We dined at several restaurants over then New Years Holiday, this was by far then best.

Visited Feb 22, they were down to 2 servers for the entire restaurant but pulled it off well. At worse, we had to wait for water refills but given their situation, they did great. There was a Karen at the next table that actually got up and walked around with water asking other tables if they had water and being extremely rude but mgmt and personnel handled it as best as they could. Always important to be aware of the situation before reacting.

We had a phenomenal meal recently with one of the very best steaks at a restaurant I’ve had recently (perfectly seasoned and perfectly medium rare ribeye). Sarah was our waitstaff and she was always available but not overbearing whatsoever. Our table was ready immediately for our reservation and they already had our highchair set at the table per our request. The new management and chef are really taking care of guests well and we will look forward to returning soon!

I was in town for Furman’s parents weekend and went here with my family for brunch after church. The atmosphere is sleek and modern. Our waitress was super friendly and knew the menu well. I had the salmon Benedict and it was so fresh and delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was fresh and homemade topped with fried capers and the dish was served with duck fat potatoes for a side with a dusting of fresh Parmesan and garlic. I also had a latte which was excellent. Everyone at the table had something unique and delicious. Highly recommended!

Went here after another restaurant in the same building lost our reservation for 8 and made no attempt to accommodate us. The staff here was very friendly, our waiter was full of personality and helped us have a wonderful time. The food was perfect and even though the prices were on the higher end of what I normally spend, the atmosphere was not snooty. I would love to go back again.

Do you want a fine dining experience? This is your place. Amazing food, service, and vibe. Usually my appetite is small, I may not eat for 3 days. How do you say “no” to one more bite? Edit. I am allergic to mushrooms and informed the waiter, I am still messed up internally two days later. 😢

Went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Great atmosphere and awesome food. The she crab soup and the bacon salad was delicious. The service was top notch. The outside terrace was a perfect place to enjoy the downtown day vibe and the weather only added to a wonderful day

We had an exceptional dining experience at Larkin's, particularly during happy hour! Our server, Matthew, provided top-notch service that made our evening truly unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and delicious. The wine and margaritas were also outstanding - perfect for sipping on while enjoying the atmosphere. If you're looking for an exceptional experience, be sure to ask for Matthew. He's a true asset to the team! We can't wait to come back and enjoy more of what Larkin's has to offer. Highly recommend!

Spent the evening at Larkins for our Anniversary. It was Incredible! Food was spot on, and the service was wonderful. It was a restaurant of traditional or conservative flair, not trendy, but has lasted the test of time in downtown Greenville. Great spot with outdoor views, and seriously the best steak we have had in SC! My wife said it’s the best steak that she has ever eaten… Was able to cut with a butter knife.

My husband and I came to this restaurant last week for our wedding anniversary, and we were was very pleased upon entrance and exit. The appetizers were without a doubt the best. Needless to say, we ordered double the Rockefeller oysters and Korean chicken wings; they are out-of-this-world addicting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant setting is elegant and comforting. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and well-versed in the menu. I want to brag about our waiter, Mark; he was absolutely amazing, possibly the best waiter we've ever had—respectful, attentive, and kind. It's well worth reserving a table here; they do not disappoint. We look forward to reserving another table in the near future.

Overall, the food was delicious, although my steak was served medium and not medium rare as I ordered. The location is nice and well maintained, and the service was good. Food and drink favorites were the oysters Rockefeller, shrimp and grits, the smoke and mirrors, and summer nights.

We came here for a lunch. Great service and good food in overall. Our server was very friendly and attentive in right timing. Slightly salty side foods but that's the southern food. Overall, good quality food with fresh ingredients. Only downside was cocktail that I ordered. It was coffee infused bourbon drink which I think it was infused with already made coffee not infused with bourbon with coffee bean directly. It was still strong but too much watery taste. I am pretty picky when it comes to cocktails. I will come and try out other cocktails and update my review again.

I stopped in for a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere and sat at the bar. Service was decent and the venue is pretty modern and appealing. They have a cocktail menu called and it listed a whiskey-based drink called the Sunset Rider, which sounded amazing, but I’m not as much into whiskey as I am vodka, so I chose the Espresso Martini instead. The Espresso Martini was pretty good! Overall, it was a nice visit… I’d return and maybe try more.

Absolutely love Larkins at Camperdown- great location, upper casual atmosphere, awesome outdoor seating area, and perhaps the best happy hour deals in GVL. The drinks are tasty and the oysters are clean & delicious. Only reason for the knockdown to 4 stars: their receipts give the recommended gratuity based on the taxed total rather than the subtotal. Feels a bit slimy, but might just be a setting change in the POS system.

The ambiance was good! Our ravioli and salmon were exceptional but the steak and frites left to be desired. The meat hada bit of nerve unrendered fat. The service was awesome.

We went on New Years Eve and had the misfortune of being sat next to a table that had gotten the prefix menu offer from open table. Every steak they ordered was overcooked and took seven trials before ir came out correctly. My spouse and I order steak and lamb that came out a little under no thanks in part to the complains of the the table next to us. Overall the food was delicious. The tres leches cake was absolutely delicious and I do not like Egg Nog but the egg nog creme brule wasn't bad either. My ribeye was good nice and even char crust although it was closer to medium rare then medium. Our server worked his butt off. He was helpful, friendly, and honest. Wr will definitely be returning.

I'm glad I went there with good company and socializing as a priority instead of looking for an intimate experience boosted with great food. Food: it is ok. There is a gap between the overall quality you are getting for the dish and the money you are paying for it. Starting with the drinks, I had a Gin and Tonic. It was the simplest G&T I was given at a “fine dining “ restaurant. I was expecting more. My spouse had the Carl is Old Fashioned, and it was unbalanced, leaning towards the sweet world. For starters, we had the Deviled Eggs, Larkins Charcuterie, and the Tuna Poke. This last option was the fan favorite of the entire night. It felt fresh and flavorful. For dinner, I had the Crab and Pistachio Mahi Mahi, and my spouse had the Pan Seared Scallops. Both were okay, but again, they didn’t feel special. It lacked craftiness. Although written they seemed good, the flavors were bland. Also, the mac and cheese with lobster is a no. Service: was good. Considering the level of competition that exists in downtown, this restaurant is not at the top of the list.

Larkins is a very nice place that really gives you a unique experience. The atmosphere and the staff are what you would expect - top notch. Jess was very sweet and provided us with excellent service. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food. For the amount of money it costs to eat there, the food should have been much better. Food we had: Crab cakes, 5 out of 5. Great flavor. No complaints. 16 oz Ribeye, 4 out of 5. Cooked perfectly. Flavor was missing something. Lobster Mac, 2 out of 5. I really had my hopes up for this dish and it really left me disappointed. The flavor was very bland. Potato Gratin, 3 out of 5. This was an unusual dish. It tasted like French Onion, which I do like, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. We enjoyed our time, but I don’t think we will return. It’s not worth the money, in my opinion.

The atmosphere was pleasant but nowhere near as nice as when it was located next to the Reedy River. The wait staff was polite, courteous and seemed happy. However, the actual service was slow, forgetful and inattentive. We ordered dishes of steak and salmon. The salmon was good and cooked well to order, although the sauce was somewhat bland. The “crabcakes” appetizer was really just one, small crab cake and had we been informed by our waiter would have skipped it for the price/size. All three of our party who ordered the steak found it was gristly, chewy and unseasoned, with very little flavor. The quality and taste was bad for all three, even though it was ordered to different degrees of doneness. And… although all three of the steaks were ordered at different temperatures (med-rare, medium & well done), they all came out with half of the steak well done and the other half a medium. I would not recommend the steak at all. The restaurant was almost unoccupied when we ordered, (just three tables in the entire space outside and inside combined), yet the food came out almost an hour after ordering it. Even the desserts, which seemed like they were store-bought, pre-made desserts, took well over 25 minutes to bring out. I do not recommend Larkins any longer unless you like to pay too much for mediocre service and mediocre food in a fancy looking city-restaurant. Sadly, you could do much better going to an Applebees!

H
Hope Bullock

I’m giving this 3 stars because the service was absolutely awful. We hardly saw our server, took forever to get our food & drink orders, confusion with the appetizers, and messed up the checks (she also charged a whole bottle of champagne instead of a glass). The food and atmosphere was decent though. Not sure if it’s worth it to go back.

Ate dinner. Me and the husband had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Our table mates had grilled salmon. My chicken tasted fishy, like it had been grilled next to or underneath the salmon. Dressing was probably homemade but no hint of anchovy and nothing to write home about. The bill was over $50. You can't say I didn't warn you.

I am truly disheartened to write this review. My husband took me out for a special dinner to celebrate the wonderful news of our upcoming baby. However, it felt as though we were judged for not fitting the mold of old money or local celebrities, as our seating arrangement was quite poor. We waited an extended period before being served, to the point where we contemplated leaving. Our reservation was for a weekday at around 5:45 PM, and our table was located right by the outdoor patio, where the door kept swinging open, creating a chilly draft. It was so cold that the constant door traffic extinguished our candle. We ended up huddling to one side in an attempt to stay warm, as it seemed almost deliberate that every food runner, hostess, server, and bartender would swing the door wide open each time they passed through. Only one hostess showed us any consideration, opening the door slowly and carefully to minimize the draft. Our server was noticeably less friendly towards us compared to other tables, which added to the feeling of being judged. She offered us bread, but it arrived without plates, and by the time she brought the plates, we had already finished the bread. On a positive note, the food was absolutely delicious. My pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked, though it was cold due to the draft, and my husband raved about his lamb chops. The truffle fries were fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the deviled eggs. Unfortunately, we left feeling cold and disappointed, as the constant opening of the door disrupted our conversation and made it difficult to enjoy the evening. I’m hesitant to recommend Larkin’s to anyone unless you appear to be famous or wealthy. We felt overlooked, and it was not the celebratory experience we had envisioned for my pregnancy.

The food was mediocre. The ham in the eggs Benedict and Croque Madam was extremely salty and dry. The crispy breakfast potatoes had a large rustic cut that made them very difficult to eat. We were seated immediately but waited close to 30 minutes before we could flag down a server to wait on us. No one seemed to be aware we were there or in their section even though the restaurant was almost empty. The waitress who finally served us was apologetic and gave us free chocolate cake even though we did not want a dessert or like cake. Very disappointing meal and service was horrendous.

K

The food was mediocre. Ham in the eggs Benedict and other dish was dry, tough, and extremely salty. Service was terrible. We were seated immediately but waited 30 minutes until we were able to flag down a server to wait on us. The restaurant was almost empty so it wasn’t a problem with it being a busy time and being overlooked. We also waited a long time for the food, made longer because the server dropped the eggs from one plate on her way to us and then we waited while some food dried out and the other food was prepared again. The server was apologetic and gave us a free piece of cake to try to make up for the , which we really didn’t care for. We will not be returning any time soon.

Overall bad experience and not good food at all. Open Table asks if a special occasion and if you want to put notes and I put that it was special and the I wanted a nice table for 2. When I arrived they walked us right over to the cafeteria table where multiple couples share the same bench seating. Basically, you are sharing a table with others and you are so close you can shake their hands and hear every word they say. Not a nice table for a special night. When I asked for a more private table (or one you do not have to share at least) was told I could sit outside with the heat lamps which I said no and was going to leave (should have), but then a manager came over and gave us our own table.. but right in front of the kitchen and where all the servers pick up their food and orders, so you can imagine it was not peaceful and it was loud with shouting and crowded with employees jockeying for position a couple feet from your table. regarding the food, it was just weird and poor quality. Calamari was clearly frozen in a bag kind and the ribeye was 50% fat or more (little meat).Yes there is fat on a ribeye, but this was ridiculous. Longhorns has better cuts. The kicker was the side of mushrooms. in 99.9% of steakhouses a side of mushrooms is just that mushrooms, whole or caps, with some butter and/or herbs.. But here it is was some strange bowl of shredded stuff (looked a lot like low mein ) that had celery, carrots, peppers, onions and very few shredded mushroom pieces. Very odd, waitress said they just changed what it was but didn't update the menu which just said side of mushrooms. Waitress was very nice, but food was not tasty or good quality. My wife did not even eat her main course after 1 bite. Greenville has become so crowded with so many new people that it will probably remain open and crowded, but I would save your money and skip this place. Had to by wife a meal in the food court after, which she said was better !

Sharon Foster

My husband and I went for date night since we sampled their food at Taste of Greenville and it was great. The night we went for dinner was restaurant week so we decided to order off that menu. The drinks were great but the steak was so fatty I could not chew it. We were both disappointed and decided there are too many other restaurants to try to waste our time with this one. We explained to our waiter the poor quality of food and he concurred. I was really hoping for a better experience.

Worst meal I have had all year and unfortunately it was on Christmas Eve. We spent almost $700 for four of us for a Prix Fixe menu and wine. And while my motto is you can’t put a price on a good time, this was not a good time. None of us could eat our meal it was so bad. Two of us sent our dishes back only to have them come out equally as bad. Do not eat here! Our server was fantastic though. I wish I remembered his name. He was equally as disgusted as us with the front of the house and the food we were served. So disappointed.

D
Dana Rondeau

We visit Greenville often and love trying new restaurants. This was such a disappointment. Out of all of the restaurants we have gone to, this was our least favorite. We were told it was fine dining, and a local favorite. We had early reservations, but every table was basically empty in the entire restaurant. Our server only had two tables and we barely saw him. When we asked for bread he said he just gave his last fresh batch to the other table. The food was mediocre at best. If you are looking for a great steak house, this is not your choice. Our server did offer us a complimentary dessert and said sorry your dinner didn’t work out. Furthermore, after our dinner, I tried to call the restaurant to talk to a manager, and no one would ever pick up the phone. Again, very disappointed and will not be going back.

EDIT: Dear Larkins, I would appreciate being refunded the difference, yes, or being offered a gift card for the difference, in the event of which I would be happy to edit and update this review. Please let me know how best to contact you. Original Post: I came here with my mother for the happy hour yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, it seems that Larkins has gone from being the best happy hour deal in Greenville to the worst. Last year, I came with family and was welcomed with half-priced items from the bar menu — the $19 Caesar salad was $9.50 for happy hour, the $11 fries were $5.50. We thought it was a good deal and we were excited to come back (and let's be honest, the non-discounted price of $11 for a bowl of fries is not one that most of us would be happy to pay anyway). This time, we were given the same menu, touting "half-price menu for happy hour plus select half-priced drinks and $2 oysters" (a near quote). But when we asked to confirm that the items like the salad and fries were half-off the listed price, we were told by multiple staff that the bar menu prices on that menu were already discounted for happy hour. The staff and management could have simply told us the truth, that the food is no longer discounted for happy hour, only drinks and oysters. Instead, they tried to convince us (really gaslight us) into thinking that a $19 Caesar salad is somehow a discount, and that the food was already "half-price" (you're telling me that the normal Caesar salad is $38? That fries are normally $22? I don't think so). Annoyingly, they also say that "select drinks" are discounted, but they do not give a list of which are, nor do they list prices, so  customers are put in the awkward position of asking how much their cocktails are. This was so disappointing, and we felt so misled that we did not end up getting anything more than one appetizer and a drink. I feel duped and stupid for recommending this happy hour to my friends over the past few months after my first time here. I have nothing against our server and hostess, they were clearly just parroting a message about the menu that they had been told to convey to customers. Also, management — please stop using chatbots to write your responses to Google reviews, if a human manager can't be bothered to actually respond, don't write anything.
