We showed up to Smoothie King at 9:03 PM, just a few minutes after closing, and were already walking away a little bummed out. But Tyrece and Redell went far above and beyond. They came out, opened the door, and told us they would still make our drinks. Not only that—they were incredibly generous and even gave us our drinks for free. They had already cleaned their equipment for the night but still took everything back out just to help us. Their positive attitudes, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly made our night. Exceptional customer service like this is rare, and because of Tyrece and Redell, we’ll definitely be coming back. Huge thank you to both of them!
Stopped by Smoothie King and honestly disappointed. The smoothie had no flavor at all just bland and watered down. On top of that, it took way too long for them to even get it out. When I pay for something, I expect it to at least taste like what I ordered and be made with some urgency. Do better
I’ve had terrible experiences here in the past. This location OFTEN gets my order wrong, has over charged me on many occasions stating they couldn’t fix it or didn’t know how without calling a manager. With the length of their line I just dealt with it and said I wouldn’t go back but I did because I actually like their smoothies. That said, I won’t be back after my most recent interaction. Last week, I placed an order for 2 smoothies and at the window asked if I could split the transactions and if not no big deal. The girl at the register slammed the window and yelled “I hate people!” When I told her that wasn’t nice and it wasn’t a big deal she laughed at me and ultimately didn’t split my transaction. A bad order, over payment..all of those aren’t good but the disrespect won’t be tolerated,
This location gives me issues every time I come. The customer service is terrible! I can’t understand why the attitudes but lack of management help maybe. The service was disgraceful. I would hate to be the owner . I waited in line for 22 minutes after ordering to be greeted with an attitude when I asked what took so long little girl snatched my card out of my hand and said it’s the two of us. Last time I patronized this location. Just to clarify it was young lady with lots of piercing and nose ring. Plus I was supposed to get an upgrade but I wasn’t allowed to scan my barcode and use the perks. Thanks to no thanks.
This is about how irritated I am about waiting in the car line. I waited 50 minutes and boy was I pissed off. I placed an online order and I arrived 10 minutes early, so I decided to get in line and wait the remaining 10 minutes -HUGE mistake. There were 5 cars ahead of me and I was completely trapped waiting for 50 minutes! Once you’re in line, there’s no escape. I was infuriated. However I’m not one to take it out on the workers. I don’t know what’s going on in there that takes so long but sometimes it might not be their fault. Maybe they’re understaffed.. I’m leaving a review so this location can do something to get it together. Hire more people or train them to get more efficient or pick up the speed. I’m sure it’s a lot of work to measure everything out and wash each blender after each order but pick up the pace because you might people TRAPPED in line. If I had an emergency, I’d have to jump the curb to get out. It’s actually unsafe to trap people in line that long. Also, once I got to the window, my order wasn’t ready. I figured they put it in the freezer for me until I was able to get it, but they had to make it again because it had been sitting out too long I suppose. Advice to anyone who ordered online : just go inside.
Went to grab a smoothie for my lunch today at the drive thru. It took forever with one car in front of me and he got his within one or two minutes. I always leave a tip in cash ($2 today) but after I drove off I thought it seemed more expensive than normal. I checked my receipt and it was - they had added a 20% tip without my authorization. Wow! I look at that as stealing. Combine that with staffing issues I will find another place to go.
Absolutely awful. Orders are wrong every single time, ingredients are missing, and the staff is rude, careless, and uninterested in doing their job. It’s mind-blowing how hard it is for this location to read a simple order. Complete waste of money and time. Avoid this Smoothie King unless you enjoy a tasteless ice smoothie.
I came 5 minutes before closing and the lights were on I proceeded to go through the drive through just to be ghosted for 2 minutes by a worker waiting out the clock. I then went around the building and saw the lady duck behind the counter and she had locked the door. It is sad how lazy some people are while she was doing absolutely nothing. I could never imagine being so scared of a little work.
I am a frequent Smoothie King customer and normally have great experiences, which is why this situation was disappointing especially because it is the only location close to me and now i don’t even want to go back. Today, I waited in the drive-thru line for over an hour and had only moved up to the car spaces. While waiting, I was on the phone with my mom and casually said, “I wonder if they can hear us.” The employee on the speaker, Autumn Granger responded, “Yes, I can. If you have a problem with it, then come in and work,” and immediately began arguing with me. She raised her voice, yelled at me, and used profanity, turning what should have been a normal customer interaction into a hostile and uncomfortable situation. Another employee eventually told her to get off the headset, and after that, communication completely stopped. Because of how unprofessional and poorly this was handled, four cars in front of me and multiple cars behind me ended up leaving the line, and I eventually left as well once i could exit the line.. i was blocked in all ways. I visit Smoothie King regularly and have never experienced anything like this. No customer should ever be spoken to this way. I truly hope management takes this seriously and addresses this behavior, as it reflects extremely poorly on the business.
This is the last time that I will ever try to go to this particular location. Repeated history of waiting 30 minutes in the drive through for smoothies, mid par smoothies half the time, and turned away at the door today when the drive through line was backed up. The manager told me to go through the drive through, because essentially I would be last priority if I ordered at the register!! Absolutely unacceptable. I am never returning here again...
Cars lined around the building and parking lot, no urgency from the three workers that would rather stand around talking instead of working. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and understand it’s not the most fun thing to do but at the end of the day it’s your job. I waited for literally 40 minutes between 20 in the drive through and 20 in the lobby. The ONLY reason I waited that long is because I promised my kid one and he was so patient the whole wait. Embarrassing.
Waiting close to 30 min for a DoorDash order is unacceptable. Time is crucial in this job force. One part of the order was done 15-20min before the other one came out. If you’re under staffed, for goodness sake, add more employees. The 2 females working were obviously over stressed & inevitably, the quality & efficacy was compromised. Customers rightfully got upset and the employees lost their cool.. which I can understand as well.. but it should not reach to that point.. Not sure if they don’t have other employees to bring in or if it’s a lack of management control, but that was unacceptable.. Both for the customers and for the employees. Also, The store here was very dirty. Especially the smoothie making area. The ceilings, lamps and floors were grimey. I enjoy smoothie king but I would not come to this location.
The manager needs to be fired. Period. Saturday was a complete disaster — ten people waiting inside, the drive-thru backed up, and only two overworked employees trying to hold everything together while the manager was nowhere to be found. I requested a refund, but honestly the bigger problem is leadership. If a manager can’t bother to show up, keep the place staffed, or even keep the store stocked, then they have no business being in that position. Get a manager who can actually run a store instead of letting it fall apart.
It would be a 5 star if my wait wasn’t 40 minutes through the drive through I left after I paid and didn’t receive my stuff and was told after I paid that they were out of stuff! You guys need to hire more people there or change the system because it stinks! For being slow staffed the employees walk around making the orders like they don’t have any customers! New management… something needs to be done! I went here on my 15 min lunch break from work
2nd: 11/4- I ordered a 44 ounce smoothie with plant protein and peanut butter. The smoothie was not correct, and tasted like crushed ice with vanilla and milk. Again, I cannot do whey protein because this is a true allergy. I also ordered a bowl and the cup was 1/3 of the way full. The base was only a spoonful, and it was extremely skimpy. Nothing like the photos or like I have received at any other smoothie King. I spent $28 and was not able to have my meal for night shift due to these issues. This is unacceptable And extremely upsetting, considering this is the closest smoothie King to me. 1st: Went to order a peanut power plus smoothie, and asked to substitute the whey protein blend for the orgain plant based vegan protein, and to sub the milk for almond milk. She was not grasping this concept. We spent several minutes attempting to reexplain the order, for her only response to be “so do you want protein or not?” We ended up just leaving. Staff NEEDS to be aware of allergies to whey since it has wheat, and need to understand vegan options if you are working in a place that has vegan listed on the menu.
I walked in about 5 minutes ago no other customers no customers in drive thru! No body greets me says hello, welcome or anything! So I say hey where do I pick up! Smh of course all six people behind the counter is white & im black typical behavior 10/28/2025 10:55am I brought my smoothie back that I got at 8:40am because the bananas was rotten it was so disgusting & almost made me throw up! I still have a nasty taste in my mouth from the bananas…. I got the Caribbean wave & came back to get the strawberry kiwi breeze & it’s definitely the person that’s making the smoothie because this smoothie is also disgusting! Something tart & bitter the Mexican looking woman that’s in here making the smoothies is definitely not putting the right measurements! I come here everyday so I know how the smoothies normally taste! I currently have $16 in my app Ewwwww! This has my day all messed up!
I just left smoothie king and I am very disappointed in my smoothie and service. I ordered a chocolate peanut power plus with spinach and no dates. I order this all the time so I know how it should taste. I couldn't taste any chocolate or peanut butter or banana. I taste like milk and ice. I went into the counter and was greeted very rudely. I told The team captain, at least thats what her shirt said, the problem. She tried to argue that it was the spinach. I told her she was wrong and I get it all the time and It doesn't taste right. She proceeded to remake it with telling me what she was doing. She sat it on the counter when finished walking away without letting me know if that was my smoothie or not. Her attitude was nasty and rude. She needs to be restrained ASAP or REPLACED! THESE SMOOTHIES COST TO MUCH TO EVER BE SUBPAR!
Ordered my smoothie from the app just to sit in line for 15 minutes and be told it wasn’t there when we both have the confirmation. Thanks for no breakfast and making me late for work. The worst location ever
I got to this smoothie king at 8:55pm, there were two cars in front of me at the drive thru waiting for their smoothies. I sat and waited to order for 5 minutes and then at 9 someone over the speaker told me they were closed. Would have been nice to not sit there for 5 minutes and wait to be told I wasn’t going to be served.
The woman working the drive thru at 3:30pm was so horrible I won’t be back. I gave a simple request and she refused. Something I have asked every time I’ve come in with no problems what so ever. Now today this woman decides that she refuses to accommodate me. Ridiculous and the owners should be ashamed to have her employed
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience tonight (June 20, 2025)! We waited over 40 min in the drive thru line for an order I placed through the app. The female at the window was SUPER rude, totally had our order wrong and offered NO apologies for the long wait. Literally in line with more than 8 cars at around 8:35pm and didn’t leave with smoothies until 9:23. I would have left without food but we were stuck in drive thru with no way out. Once at the window no one even greeted us for at least 5 minutes and a male employee was slamming trash cans around as he tried to put new bags in them. Not sure I’ll ever go back after the HORRENDOUS service. At least 3 people were in there working- NO clue why/ how it could get so backed up at almost 9pm at night. I have worked in HR for almost 20 yrs and I have not seen such poor service in a long time. Inexcusable.
