Friendly staff hardly a line to wait at 3pm. I've been going to this neighborhood subway for years I don't ever remember having any problem with the food or service
I ordered from this restaurant because I was craving a sandwich. I was concerned the sandwiches would arrive soggy and no meat or fixings. The order arrived within a short amount of time. The toasted sandwiches were toasted! I ordered two sandwiches one for dinner and one for lunch tomorrow. I now need to find something else for lunch tomorrow because I ate both sandwiches! I now need to visit this store in person!
It was maybe two hours before closing when I walked in to order food for my children and I. I was greeted with a hello from a gentleman as he was cleaning the dining room. When finished with his task, he came over, washed his hands, and then asked how he could help me. We made conversation as I ordered, and it was here he told me he has been with the company for I believe 15 years and how he was the only one working closing at nights. He did a great job with my special orders as well as not making it seem that he was burned out from working so much.
I'm a vegetarian and the employees were very understanding when asked to switch gloves. They were also friendly and great customer service. The store appears small in the outside hiding the charm inside. The small parking lot was always comfortably busy.
Cleanest, most pleasant Subway I've ever been too. Staff is lovely, everything is spotlessly clean. When dining in, they actually give you your sandwich in deli style basket with napkins. I don't usually order a drink, and each time the staff has then asked if I'd like a cup for water. The owner/and/or management takes great pride in this store, so glad it's in my neighborhood.
Workers hair was all over the counter and then was in sandwich wrapper and bag. Gross
This location is usually pretty good,BUT today you have an employee who is clearly sick handling food???Why did management have him come in or why couldn’t he call out?I feel bad for him,BUT I don’t want an effin booger in my sub that I just paid for. Probably a health code violation too.
My primary concern is that this location may have super inconsistent food potion control. Today's sub (my usual) was probably 30% less than my last visit.The location on off of Belview is a better bet if you're in the area and looking for a Subway. Nonetheless, the store is clean proper food storage and handling practices seem to be well adhered to by staff from the ordering line. I will likely give this location one more try (will be the 4th time ordering from this location). If the result is similar to my 1st three purchases - a different location may be worth visiting if it is not an inconvenience to you.
Went there to get a quick bite at night and they were 30 minutes till close which I know they clean up most things (I’ve had plenty of family and friends work for subway) however I called and looked and the worker was in there and even walked upfront to look at me and just stared at me not even acknowledging the phone rigging or anything. So I just ended up going up one down the road and they were awesome but like come on be more mature than that at least let me know that you are mostly closed and TURN OFF YOUR OPEN sign.
Customer service is horrible at this location. They barely speak English. They overcharge you and don't try to correct their mistakes when I asked to talk to the owner or the manager, they refuse to let me.
Walked in asked the guy for footlong Italian herb with pepperoni and bacon and he looked at me confused and said no and refused to make it, I've ordered this same thing at 100s of locations since I was 2
This was my email to corporate once I finally got in touch with a live person. They are supposed to contact me next week via phone, so I will update this review once I speak with them: Hello, I am filing a complaint against Fernando, the manager at your location 4696 S Broadway Englewood CO 80110 for his unprofessional, discriminatory, and unsafe behavior. During my visit, I requested all cheeses in my sandwich, except pepper jack, and asked for 2-3 times the cheese, which I was willing to pay extra for. Fernando ignored this request and his demeanor clearly prioritized the customer behind me, who was of the same race as him, interrupting my order while my sandwich was still in the oven. I asked him to toast it twice because I eat at Subway a lot, and the chicken is NEVER cooked in the middle only toasted once. I always get the same sandwich. I’ve had food poisoning as a result from other Subways because of uncooked chicken more than once before. When my sandwich came out of the oven, I noticed half of it was missing cheese. I asked for more cheese (again) and extra chicken. Why not since it would need to be toasted again to melt the cheese anyways? While Fernando complied with adding some cheese and chicken, he refused to add the amount I requested, flat out. Additionally, he refused to toast it again, stating, “I think you’ve toasted it enough.” His rude comment made me realize that toasting it again would overcook the bread, so I asked for a new sandwich instead. To be considerate of the customer behind me, I asked her to go ahead and finish her order so she wouldn’t have to wait for Fernando to make me a new sandwich. There were no other customers in the store. Despite this, Fernando flat-out refused, saying, “I’m not making you a new sandwich,” and not only dismissed my concerns about food safety entirely, but his annoyance towards me that had been escalating since I walked through the door, turned to anger. He’d dismissed ALL my requests and concerns in fact at this point. Clearly. Then proceeded to refuse service to me. I became very angry at this point as well, and still am. I’ve never been treated with such hostility from a place of business before. Truly. This experience felt discriminatory, unsafe, and unprofessional. I expect your team to address this matter seriously to ensure all customers are treated equally, regardless of race, and ensure food safety standards are upheld. Not to mention, making customers sandwiches that way they ask them to be made. Eating out is expensive, and I expect my hard earned money to purchase what I ask for, or I will find elsewhere. Subway used to be my favorite fast food restaurant, and that particular store is in a convenient location for me, to frequent, but I’ll be finding another favorite to go to from now on. Worst subway in existence. They didn't like how i used the app to my advantage to get extra savings. Put almost no food on the bread and told me next time they would refuse service if I ordered the same way. Plenty of other Subways around. Do NOT go to this one.
Absolutely the worst subway I have ever visited. Made an order for 2 sandwiches showed up when my order said it was ready to find out that the lady ehind the counter gave half my order to doordash and then had an rude attitude with me because of her making a mistake and giving my food to the wrong person. Why would you not ask a delivery person who the name of the order is to ensure that you don't just give out peoples orders to the other people?? And how is it the person who ordered and paid for the food's fault that you gave my food away??
My sandwich ending with $.01 (a penny). There was a tip container with change in it. So I took .01 cent for my payment. Both workers I believe the dad & son saying that I cannot take the penny since it's a tip. So I got .99 cents back. I found a penny in my purse so I gave back the .99 cents plus my penny for a dollar. They both were upset that I took a penny. I told them I was going to leave a tip now I'm not. They both told me we don't ask for tips but I cannot take a penny from the container, really!!
I get it, for sure, being young and held responsible to perform as the face of the franchise. With that being said, were you volunteering or are you there to do a job that you signed up for? Customer service is #1 for a subway employee. Bad attitude, lack of prep is 💯 on training. Reevaluate the who and where you position every head on clock. Boost these guys moral. I feel bad for this kid, even though he was awfully rude and non certive, guidance is crucial! Follow up: piss poor service! Me: walk through door, fully understanding store hours are posted online and on front door... Employee: were supposed to be closed... Me:? Hours are posted online and on store front door Employee: it doesn't matter what those say. 8/13/2024: Be mindful Franchise owner, this is the worst customer service not once or twice.
Absolutely horrible. Ordered five sandwiches. Each one of them was cold even though they were all supposed to be warm and toasted. They all came with completely cold Raw bacon it was never thrown in the oven like they were supposed to be. I used to work at Subway. I know the way it's supposed to work and none of these sandwiches were made the way they are supposed to be. This location says it doesn't close till 9:00 when my husband went in to grab our order around 6: 00pm They said "if you don't have an online order we can't help you". Like what is that really? The first thing you say to a customer. My husband said I do and gave them his name. They never handed him The bag just said your orders right there. They were already closing everything down and closing at 6pm. It is sad what customer service has come to these days. People are just completely lazy and don't know how to work. Will never eat at subway again.
