Dereck provided absolutely top-notch service during our visit to Lazy Dog! From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of without us even having to ask. He had great menu recommendations and checked in on us just the right amount not too much, not too little. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guest experience. Thanks for making our meal that much better, Dereck! We’ll definitely be asking for you next time!

Went to celebrate grandson's 17th birthday. Waitress was so easy going, friendly, helpful and fun. Food suggestions were right on. Delightful time. Would certainly go again. Stefan was so full he asked for his birthday brownie to go. This is what we came up with to sing happy birthday. Especially since his last name is Fry !!!

Visiting Denver area. Saw the restaurant white driving to the hotel. We stopped by. It was our first time, the manager stopped by and greeted us personally. Normally a manager will just do a walk by, how is everything? He introduced himself and showed genuine interest. There were four of us. We started with a sampler platter of Togarashi Edamame, Cauliflower Ceviche and Street Corn Tots. My favorite was the Edamame. We have made a lot of edamame at our home, but this was unique and so delicious (Oishii, in Japanese) I had the Cuban Sandwich, another favorite of mine. I first had one in Tampa Bay and this is the first one since that hit the stop. Bottom, line we really enjoyed this restaurant.

Met a friend for lunch at Lazy Dog and had fish and chips. Great flavor, decent portions. Excellent service.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience! Every single bite was packed with flavor — truly a meal to remember. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything was absolutely delicious, but the real standout was the dessert. The pie? Perfection. And I have to give a huge shoutout to our incredible server, Cassidy. She went above and beyond to make our evening special. Attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy — she made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. Give that girl a raise — she absolutely deserves it! Can’t wait to come back.

We like this place for reliable food and service. Not every Lazy Dog is the same when it comes to what they offer. We've been to this location a few times and we always have a good experience. The food is usually pretty tasty and the service friendly and prompt. We've taken our dog to this patio, and that's always fun. We usually come for brunch or lunch. Today, we had Alison as our server, and she was great. Naomi also gave us coupons one time. We've tried many of their menu items, but one of our favorites is the chicken salad sandwich and French fries.

We stopped by Lazy Dog while traveling in Colorado for my husband’s work, and we had a great experience! We started with the welcome chips with Parmesan, which were really good light, crispy, and flavorful. Then, we tried the fried deviled eggs, and they were absolutely delicious! For our main dishes, we had the chicken pot pie, which was tasty but stayed hot until the very last bite, and the BBQ ranch burger with fries. The fries were amazing, crispy, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. One of my favorite things about Lazy Dog is their wide variety of dressings, small details like that make a big difference. I also got a three-beer draft flight, and the Huckleberry IPA was definitely my favorite, great flavor and super refreshing! Service was fast and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!

This was our first time dining at the Lazy Dog, and let me tell you - what made the restaurant a place that I would happily return to wasn't the food (not that it was in any way sub par) but it was the people! My husband and I had a fun date night at Meow Wolf and then came here for a late dinner and sat at a high booth in the bar area. OK, MacGregor was our server - and he was GREAT! As a degreed hospitality professional, there are not many servers I come across that truly impress me. However, MacGregor had a personality that was infectious. His knowledge of the menu items, paired with his upbeat personality and his true passion for his patron's enjoyment of the evening - made for one dinner I will not soon forget. The evening started off with an order of complimentary parmesean kettle chips as a thank you for being first-time customers. We ordered an unsweet tea and water for our beverages, no complaints there. We perused the menu, had our eye on a few of the entree options, and then asked MacGregor what his favorites were. In great detail about not only his favorite meals, he described the BBQ Ranch burger, fried chicken dinner, and the Bison Bacon Meatloaf. Not only did he include the ingredients and sauce pairings, but he went as far as even commenting on the texture that the fried onions and bacon give the meatloaf - a true professional. I was debating between a simple 5 cheese grilled cheese with tomato basil soup (as I was not overly hungry) or the meatloaf, but his attention to detail in his explanations sold me on the latter. My husband had the BBQ Ranch burger and had no complaints. And when my meatloaf arrived, it was barren atop. No crispy fried onions. I soon found out that the fry cooks had all but obliterated the last of the fried onions to an unfortunate burnt crisp. But MacGregor came out holding a small plate telling me the unfortunate news, followed by - I picked out as many as I could find that were not burnt, but I have already notified my manager of what happened and had him discount your dish since it is not the complete meal - I am so sorry. I was taken aback. He noticed a problem, fixed it, and also went above and beyond by noticing that it still was not up to their standards. Absolute GOLD, I tell you. In this industry, there are not many like MacGregor. It was no surprise that he was training a new hire. Keep him. Promote him. He needs to be the model for all trainees. Finally I was able to eat the meatloaf that was so highly regarded. Now, the fried onions definitely made a huge difference in mouth feel. A nice crispy texture to complement the smoothness of the loaf and pureed potatoes. The bacon and the in house made BBQ sauce gave the meatloaf a good flavor. Without it - it is just ok. The manager Martell came over to apologize about the shortcomings of the evening and was a true gentleman. Inviting us to come back and give them another shot and offered us a dessert on the house. We opted for the brownie. I should have read the description first, that brownie was a massive bowl of chocolatey goodness. Chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow creme, and vanilla bean ice cream - man - it most definitely made up for any shortcomings from the meal. Of course, I could not leave without trying the Huckleberry Apple pie, so we grabbed one to go. I couldn't wait, so I stole a bite before bed, and it was sweet, tart, and delicious. Martell, MacGregor, and the sweet girl in training - Thank You. We will be back.

Very accommodating today I asked to sit by the fireplace and even though there wasn’t a server in the section, they sent somebody to wait on me so I could get in and out before rush-hour. Rachel was very very pleasant as a waitress and I really appreciate her warmth and hospitality. I got to enjoy my nail and quiet contemplation near the fireplace. A beautiful setting and once again always great food. Colorado needs a few more lazy dogs. I took the beautiful painting in as well since I raise huskies.

Great restaurant with awesome food! A little pricey but very good food! And the best part it's dog friendly. I have a 140lb Newfoundland and they were very accommodating for her!

Mark made our experience here at the Lazy Dog so great! He specialized our drinks for us and made us feel welcomed and was super friendly and attentive. Food was great and the portions were huge. Perfect stop for dinner before a movie.

Wow! What a great restaurant experience. Neal was our server and did a tremendous job. Excellent food, unique local beers, special service, and efficient and friendly staff. We had the pot roast and the meatloaf. Had the fries as an appetizer, all delicious! We joined the Beer Club. Can't wait to come back. So, back again and it was again fabulous! Kevin was so attentive. Love this new restaurant in our neighborhood! Update, Raine was our server tonight and she was wonderful! Christian the manager was so heilpfuwith our Beer Club pickup. Love this restaurant! Our go to for good food, atmosphere, and service! Another update: Had our order delivered last night. It was quick, exactly what we ordered, hot and delicious. Today I received a thank you call from the restaurant manager. Love this place!!

A wide variety of menu selection! Would recommend the Cuban Sandwich and the deviled eggs. Give them a try!

great experience and food and service , forgot the waiter name - My bad . But he checked on us . Food was great and well presented and the young man with a beard and glasses checked on us and treated us well . Had issue with one dish . and they waiter welcomed feedback to pass along to BOH . I had the Breakfast Burger 🍔 and Deviled Eggs and corn dogs super hungry as I flew in from Nashville that morning. Everything was fire 🔥

Lazy Dog hosted the Colorado Puppy Rescue Reunion and they were pet friendly and awesome! I took some leftovers for my pups that you can see below! They were able to feed all of our rescue pups! I am a HUGE fan and will be back!

I came in for brunch with a friend and we had the best experience. Dustin, our server, was wonderful and my black and blue burger was delicious. It was a great backdrop to catch up with a good friend.

Lazy Dog in Highlands Ranch completely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing and perfect for a night out. The staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The manager Sydney came by our table to check in and her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. She made us feel welcomed and valued which is something you do not experience everywhere. Service was smooth, the timing was perfect and the entire team seemed genuinely happy to be there. Everything felt clean, organized and well run. It is clear that Sydney leads with care because the whole environment reflects it. We left already talking about when we would come back. Five stars without hesitation.

Food and service was enjoyed by all in our party. Chris, our server, did a great job. The place is noisy but that is on par for many restaurants. My only complaint is I ordered the NY steak. The menu refers to it as a strip steak. I was told my order was delayed because the kitchen was having some problems. The steak I was served clearly was not a NY strip steak. It was cooked as I asked and it was very tasty. I mentioned all this to our server and a floor manager. They thanked me for the info but made no attempt to compensate for the substitute. Not a real big deal, things happen. Just some feedback regarding our experience. DC

We came here to celebrate my fiances birthday and the restaurant did such a great job accommodating us. We had 17 people and they did an absolutely stellar job providing great service and delicious food. We had a blast and they made it so special!

Chris was so wonderful! We celebrated a valentines brunch and the food was great, service even better. Patio was beautiful, sunny & breezy! (Even though it’s February and we should be covered in snow)

We have been to Lazy Dog several times as a family of six, and we’ve been honored to have Carrie as our server. She is absolutely incredible. Even while managing several other tables, she took the time to customize my special-needs son’s order, and it came out perfect. Carrie engaged with all of my kids — asking about the books they’re reading, sharing related stories about herself, and checking on us with perfect timing. She truly created such a warm, enjoyable experience for our family night out. I rarely write reviews, but Carrie deserves a million positive ones. Lazy Dog has amazing food, but Carrie is what makes the experience 100%. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about her.

We had such an amazing experience at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. But what truly made our night unforgettable was our waiter, Joshua. He made us feel like long-time friends instead of just customers. His energy, personality, and attention to detail were top-tier. He kept us entertained the entire time while still being incredibly professional and on point with everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it makes all the difference. Service like that is rare.

So we were randomly in the neighborhood and decided to go to this place. My wife and had never heard or even seen it before. But it was awesome, the service was great, the food was delicious and they even changed the channel to the Nuggets game for us. Or server have us complimentary homemade chips because it was our first time there, so incredibly nice of him. Both dishes we got were great, the Korean bipmbop was awesome and the fish and chips, awesome. Our appetizer was the crispy deviled eggs, they were just ok tbh. But overall it's a great place to go. We're going back again sooner than later.

We have been coming here for quite some time. I am a General Manager for Subway so that tells you anything I'm very picky when it comes to eating out. Dustin is by far our favorite server. I have been in the industry for years and his hands down only about servers we have ever had anywhere.His services impeccable and the food is always awesome. Love to come on the weekends for the amazing bloody Mary. Please keep this guy around and we will keep coming

I have been at Lazy Dog a few times and they always do a good job. Tonight I had Hayden as my server. She was awesome! She had a great attitude, was very friendly, took good care of us as well as all her tables. I could see her constantly paying attention to what her tables needed. I asked her some questions about a dish that I had not had, she took her time to describe it and even offered ideas for substitutions that I could do. It was a very delicious dish! Thanks Hayden for making our dinner and experience excellent!!

Brandon was crazyyyyyy good! The food was good no doubt, but homie absolutely crushed it! He skateboarded our meals over to us and even landed a double kickflip on the way!! He helped me with a few questions on my calculus homework and even stopped by to drop off some appetizers for my daughter's birthday party in Breckenridge. Talk about going above and beyond! BRANDON YOU ARE MY FAVORITE SERVER EVER & AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!

Lazy Dog never disappoints, but this visit was truly next level because of the incredible staff. Our waiter Chris made our entire experience the best from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing time. Everything felt effortless and fun thanks to him. And Sydney deserves a huge shout-out as well. She always makes us feel so special, like we’re the only customers in the restaurant. Because of Sydney, we became Beer Club members, and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made. Her warmth and personal touch are a huge reason we keep coming back again and again. We love returning to Lazy Dog not just for the consistently great food and beer, but for the experience these amazing people provide every single time. Chris and Sydney truly embody what great hospitality looks like. Can’t wait for our next visit!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars is just not enough! Our first time hearing about this restaurant and choosing it, and we are so glad we did. Abby was our server. She was warm, friendly, attentive, funny and charming. We decided to do an apps only night and ordered the bacon candy, the hot honey feta dip, the brussel sprouts and we were treated to a bowl of the fresh warm homemade bbq chips (of which we ordered a second bowl). We also chose the hibiscus margarita and the huckleberry IPA for our adult beverages, which were an instant favorite. And I can't forget the apple huckleberry pie we took with us. We spoke with the manager, Dan, for a few minutes and he was pleasant, warm and very informative about the questions we had on the chips. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time.

Chris, our server in the bar was awesome! He had good recommendations, was extremely friendly and attentive. He kept our water bottle full and was always smiling. The food was great and the value for the money was unbeatable. We will definitely be back!

Amanda was great. I like to read while I eat, and she honored that by discreetly checking in without interrupting me. I had the biscuit and gravy, with two over easy eggs on the side. The gravy was really good with chunks of chicken in a very good gravy. It was not too salty as these white gravies can be. My only comment is that with a huge biscuit like this one there needs to be more gravy. Unfortunately the eggs were over medium, so I didn't have the runny yolk to mix with my biscuit.

Great spot! Our server Tracy was so friendly and informative of all the sauces and best entrees. My husband and I did two of the bowls and they were both delicious. The serving size was awesome and we loved the atmosphere for enjoying our lunch date while watching the football game.

Dustin was an awesome server. If he hadn't recommended the hot honey feta dip my wife and I would never have tried it. It was amazing by the way. I highly recommend and ask for Dustin to be your server.

I had such a great experience at the Lazy Dog in Highlands Ranch! I ordered the pot roast after it was recommended to me, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly tender, flavorful, and easily one of the best comfort-food dishes I’ve had in a long time. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into what they serve. I also want to give a special shoutout to the manager, Sydney. She was fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests have a great experience. Her presence really elevates the whole atmosphere. Highly recommend this location. Great food, amazing service, and Sydney is truly a standout. I’ll definitely be back!

We’ve been here a few times and each time has been wonderful. Our last time here though really stood out. Chris was our server and took GREAT care of us. He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we (& our pup!) needed. We got a hamburger bowl for our dog. I got the Mediterranean bowl and my husband got the loco moco bowl. Both were really great! They also have some lunch deals and happy hour deals we’ve taken advantage of too.

My sister and I love this spot (she and her friends come in basically once a week lol) and we popped in last week on our way home from an event in Denver. The cocktails and starters are always incredible and service was top notch, as usual (thank you Bailey!!) I would’ve given 5 stars, however it might be time to replace the meat thermometers in the kitchen. I feel like we always have issues with burgers being cooked properly, and while management is always GREAT about it, and always moves swiftly to try to make it right, at some point (somewhere in between the 4th time for my sister and the second time for me lol), you’d think we’d have learned to do mental math to order one or two “steps” down, hoping it’ll be cooked the right way, as exhausting as that is. We brought vouchers from the last time it happened, and left with more, and as nice as the vouchers for free starters are, I feel like there’s probably money being lost, both in sales and in tips, which suuuuucks, considering how amazing the service always is! Please check burger temps!! \(T - T)/

Great restaurant!!! Every item I have ordered off the menu has been delicious. The staff is very friendly and hard working. Glasses are constantly filled up and any requests made are quickly tended to. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It has become one of my go to places .

If you’re looking for a spot that treats your dog as well as (or better than) the humans, this is the place. We stopped by with our pup and the staff was incredibly accommodating. He absolutely loved the vibe (and the dog menu), and it made for a really relaxed meal on the patio. ​However, my entree was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Sambal Stir Fry, hoping for a nice kick, but it leaned way too heavily on the "sweet." It lacked the savory depth or heat I was expecting and ended up tasting more like a dessert sauce than a balanced stir-fry. ​I will definitely be back because the atmosphere is unbeatable for dog owners, but I’ll probably steer clear of the stir-fry next time and try a burger instead.

It was a horrible visit. One dish was extremely cold and another took an extra 25 min to get, and still not fully warm. We had 5 people, no appetizers and 3 drinks. 2 where comped by the manager but the bill was still $137? How? Severe was not much better. No communication at all and empty glasses sat empty with no refills after 30 min and we left finally. Burger was on at best. Delivery was always good, but not this one! And still how was the bill that high?

we ordered delivery from here. i’m celiac. i ordered the “gluten sensitive” (eye roll) steak with fruit and mashed potatoes. this steak came on a bed of the sauteed spinach, which has wheat in it, the mashed potatoes came with breaded and fried onions on them, and also there was gravy (thankfully, i guess, packaged in a ramekins). so not only did i spend $30 on a meal, i couldn’t even eat it because everything about it was contaminated by gluten. absolutely careless, and horrible training.
