We went with our friends for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice. Our server Steven is very sweet snd attentive. He helped us with food and drink recommendation. The food he recommended are all very delicious. We love the lettuce wrap, garlic noodle, firecracker shrimp especially the new item black pepper mignon steak.
P.F. Chang’s in Colonie, NY is well worth the visit. The ambience is a definite must see. It is very eloquent & sophisticated. The food is delicious Chinese Bistro cuisine with many selections. Patrick was an amazing server!!! The food was deliciousness fresh and the atmosphere was so welcoming for my family and I as I celebrated my birthday!! I highly recommend visiting this location! (Albany NY)
My experience was simply AMAZING!! Our server, Janelle, couldn’t have been any sweeter and incredible! She went above and beyond to make our experience top notch. The Manager, Justin, came over to our table and asked if we had been here before and then offered us complimentary desserts! Service couldn’t have been better! Thank you!! We will definitely be back simply for the service. Food, of course, was outstanding.
I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the fried rice, they were amazing! My server Dee had the best energy and made the meal a 10/10.
We did the waitlist for a birthday dinner. Arrived 10 minutes early and seated quickly. Our server was John. He was very helpful, accommodating of an allergy, and friendly. Due to his upbeat personality I overall think it made the dinner. We had a pleasant dinner and food was fresh and tasty. Overall enjoyed our girls dinner out!
10 minutes before our reservation and was seated right away. Our server John was fantastic and even had great jokes. I had some allergy questions and even asked the kitchen to confirm. A friendly server.
It’s been a while since we were near a PF Chang and this was like going right back to then. Our server, John, was very friendly and nice. He even reminded us about the edamane. He had all the food coming out really nice and fast. The food was amazing and the sesame chicken & fried rice were just like I remembered!
I’m new to Albany & wanted to go somewhere to relax & enjoy good food + drinks. Troy was my server, he was super welcoming & kind. He didn’t make me feel rushed at any point. 10/10 service. The drinks were fabulous. I had the Lychee & Lemon Drop martini. The steamed pork dumplings were delicious. I also had the singapore street noodles, not bad! Good experience overall.
What can I say, but WoW 👌 👏 👍 I've wanted to come here for a while but with someone. Today, I gave in and came by myself and everything I expected from dining was satisfactorily fulfilled and I'm so elated by it. It's a very beautiful space, well designed, color coordinated, ambiance fitting for any size party, and incredibly courteous and friendly staff. The food, oh the food, my goodness, the food, is so delicious I had to sit for a while to allow my taste buds and stomach to process everything. A lot of drink choices to suit any palate. Alcoholic, teas, and non-alcoholic brevarages. I buy the brand from Walmart but now eating here fulfills a desire pleasantly. Very happy I came and will be back with other. Thank You to the awesome chefs and staff for making my experience pleasantly memorable 👌👍👏🙏 See You soon.
P.F. Chang's continues to lean into its philosophy of wok cooking, and you can taste that commitment in the food. Their approach blends traditional Asian technique with a modern twist, creating dishes that feel authentic but still accessible. I sat at the bar and ordered the Mongolian beef ($26) and added rice for an extra $3. The portion size felt a little small for the price point, which made it seem slightly expensive. That said, the flavor more than made up for it. The rice was great and pork was well-seasoned, the vegetables fresh, and the overall execution was excellent. It was a fantastic dish. Bar service was good, though not exceptional. The bartender wasn’t overly conversational and was a bit slow with both food and drink service at times. Still, she was professional and handled everything well. They featured a special cocktail for the evening, which my wife ordered, and it was very good. All in all, for it being in the mall, it was a very good experience. Solid food, a strong commitment to wok-based cooking, and an enjoyable night overall.
Our waitress, Eve, was fantastic. Took great care of us even as the restaurant was closing. Food was mid. Sushi was clearly sitting in the fridge for a while and egg drop soup wasn’t great. But drinks were fantastic and the miso salmon was a great recommendation. Honey chicken was also very good.
I am writing to share positive feedback regarding a recent visit on December 6th, where my friends and I were fortunate to get a last-minute reservation. Our server, Ben, did an outstanding job attending to our needs throughout the evening. He provided excellent service. I gave the overall visit a 4 out of 5 stars because, whenever I dine at PF Chang's lately, Strawberry Daiquiris never seem to be available. Aside from that minor issue, my friends and I had a wonderful evening, thanks to the great food and atmosphere. We were the last to leave the restaurant, and everything was handled wonderfully. Finally, please never take the Pepper Steak off the menu—it is fantastic. Thank you for providing a great dining experience.
This was our First time here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes available. They printed out a non seafood menu for my fiancé who is allergic to any kind of shellfish. Which is in many of the dishes. They were very helpful concerning food options for him. My ONLY ISSUE and reason for 4 starts instead of 5, was the floor under the table was a mess, it was bothersome for me. and my silverware was not clean enough. Other than that, it was fantastic and we would return !! The atmosphere was relaxing and well done.
Don't get me wrong the restaurant is beautiful and the dumplings are great, but like the average experience with the food was not that great the flavor is mixed with a lot of ginger and onions so you don't really get the flavor, also the server was doing her best but she was left alone with too many tables so our soup arrived so late, then we order the lobster dumplings and my mom really love lobster but was asking cause she don't feel it at all. I couldn't try them cause I'm allergic to shellfish but then when we get the check we discovered the server has put pumpkin dumplings instead of the lobster ones , we are kinda disappointed about it. Also the black tea didn't seem like black tea but everything else was great.
The service was amazing. She was attentive and made recommendations that were in line with what we were looking for. It was our first visit. The atmosphere was great except for the long table that was next to us that stayed dirty full of food and dishes the whole time we were there. The manager walked by numerous times and didn't even touch it. The food however was not good at all the egg drop soup was like liquid egg whites. The egg roll tasted like cat food and my sesame chicken was so overdone and dry not to mention it didn't have any sesame. If it wasn't for the amazing server who we left a super generous tip for, we would have given this place 1 star. She was the saving grace. The restaurant was very nice and had it been cleaned up would have been amazing for atmosphere. The manager needs to help more and stop walking around trying to look busy while his staff are running their tail off.
The food portions were small but we didn’t really love anything ordered anyway so it wound up being plenty. No one ever came to clear any plates so we had to place them behind us to have space open the small tables. The waitress wasn’t able to give us a refill on drinks more than once and we got the “bottomless refresher”. I wouldn’t come back…
I don’t usually leave reviews but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences i’ve ever had. My group had to wait to be seated even though we had a reservation. Once we were seated, it took 20-30 mins for a waiter to take our drink orders. After that, it took another 20-30 mins for our food to come out. I got the sesame chicken and i know its supposed to be sweet but this one was overwhelmingly sweet and saucy while also being soggy, and the fried rice was too plain. I will say the atmosphere is very nice and the drink selection was good. The restaurant was obviously understaffed and servers were visibly overwhelmed and rushed, but it was clear they were doing their best and working hard anyways. Management obviously needs to hire and retain more employees. Honestly unacceptable service for spending $25-$35 per person! To be clear, the servers were obviously doing their best under the circumstances and the problem lies in the pricing and hiring / scheduling.
Ordered Sesame Chicken lunch special and was disappointed. My white rice was extremely dried out and the Sesame chicken did not have very much chicken or sauce included. Contained more broccoli and bell peppers than anything else. Also had large chunks of ginger which was not pleasant to chew. The flavor of the food was good. Wished the quality and portions matches the flavor especially for the prices they charge.
This was hands down some of the worst service I have experienced in my life. We were seated quickly but no one ever came over to greet us to take a drink order. After about 20-30 minutes of waiting we finally flagged a waitress down who was very sweet and helpful, but clearly overwhelmed. I don’t blame her at all because it was evident that she was receiving little to no direction or support from management and was trying her best. The rest of the evening proceeded in a very similar manner, with no one really helping us, and having to ask for simple items like silverware, water, plates to be cleared, etc. Our food didn’t arrive for another 20-30 minutes after the waitress took our order and we had to ask for a manager to get our food. Our coffees were served without spoons and the creamer was in a regular mug with no way to pour or serve it. We ended up pouring the milk directly from the mug into our coffees and stirring it with chopsticks (I wish I was kidding). Underneath our table was filthy and there were water rings on the table when we sat down. The people at the table next to us actually got up and left after receiving water and soft drinks and evidently nothing else for an extended period of time. All in all we were at the restaurant for nearly two hours, much of which was spent trying to get the attention of staff. I honestly wish we had gotten up and left, but some of the people in our group had just gotten back after traveling for the weekend and were too tired to bother. I honestly did feel really badly for the waitress who looked to be nearly in tears. The management left much to be desired. This evening was like an SNL skit, and not in a good way. We won’t be back.
Attempted to have dinner here Monday evening. Atleast 15 minutes before a server noticed no one had been to our table. She arrived and told us that she was in training and didn’t know the menu, but would try to take our order. She didn’t have a pen or notepad so she took out her phone. We asked for 2 waters, a beer and 2 meals. 15 minutes later she returned with one water and quickly set it down and left again without a word. 5 minutes later we still didn’t have the other drinks and the trainer server never bothered to come to the table. we decided to notify the hostess and leave. It wasn’t even busy. We will not be back.
