Love this location over the one at cross county. The food is always hot and fresh. Love the strawberry lemonade so fresh. Classic ambience but love the outside seating. Service is always a ten their staff is delightful and funny.

The burger must have been heaven sent. I ordered a double with bacon and cheese. All of the ingredients were perfect. The bacon was crispy and tasty, and the cheese was just the right level of gooeyness. Of course, the beef was legendary. The portion was just the right size if you're hungry. What I particularly liked was that I left the restaurant satisfied, but not bloated. Only downside was that although the burger was awesome as usual, it took a long time for the order to be ready. This time, I decided to eat in during a busy lunch time, and had no trouble getting a table. Let's face it. This is the best burger in town.

Delicious burgers!! The beef patty was crispy and flavorful, while the mushshroom patty was cheesy and crunchy. Furthermore, the fries were cooked well. The staff at the cashier was kind. There is also water available at the condiments station if you do not get a beverage. There are a lot of seating options inside and outside the store. Overall, the burgers was super tasty and I can’t wait to eat them again lol.

I've been a Shake Shack fan pretty much since Day 1. I'm amazed they are able to expand without compromising their original concept in any way. This SS in Hartsdale is no exception. This one seems especially family-friendly. Lot of parents with under 10 kids. No fuss, room for them to sprawl and fidget. Spacious place unlike some in the city. Cashiers are welcoming and friendly. Manager roams the place and checks on customers, very engaging guy. 10 stars for having a special needs person continuously tidying things up. (If you go, talk to him! It's a kindness.) Food was perfect. Served piping hot. Takes a little more time than fast food fare, because it's made to order. Nice job, folks!

My first ever visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. Restrooms were very clean. The food was delicious. A bit high for me but a tasty experience.

Food was the best that I have had in years. Shake shack has fallen way below average for many years. The burgers are almost always over cooked. This time, they were delicious! The veggies were fresh and the bun was not soggy. The French fries were also perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt. They didn’t taste like they came from overused oil. They had my order right on. The employees were very friendly regardless that it was approaching closing time. The only downfall was timing. I ordered from the online app to pick up at 9:30. I didn’t realize the order changed to 9:45PM pick up by the time I submitted it. Still the food wasn’t ready until 10:05PM. I was so happy to have the shake shack that it has been known for anyway.

I enjoyed shake shack 6 or 7 years ago when they first expanded their store base, but really its just an average burger and experience, and quite overrated. I see that you now order by kiosk, pick up your own food at the counter, and dispose of your own trash, so the default kiosk settings for a 20% tip is a bit irritating.

While we received an e gift card for the bad food we received, this doesn't redeem the experience. The lack of WiFi in such a major modern chain of restaurants is inexplicable and unacceptable. But the food is sub-par, and while there is no excuse for bad food and tasteless custard doesn't equate with their hype. Cultural influences don't equate with talent. The restaurant chain needs to review its operations and quality control. The lack of combos and inflated prices will doom it over time. The same food and quantity at McDonald's is half the price. I can not understand how people find this appealing. The assumption that sending an ecard to an ambassador and having us to require us to add their app to use it is a laughable attempt at customer service and somewhat insulting in its flippancy. The only thing good here are the fries.

I ordered a veggie shack (because I’m a VEGETARIAN). They gave me BACON on it, and NOTHING ELSE that was supposed to come with it. Ordered it through Uber Eats so couldn’t even get a new one. Ruined my lunch, I couldn’t eat. Absolutely stupid!!!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Last night was hands down the worst burger I’ve ever had. I’m a smash patty burger enthusiast who has tried smash burgers (& non smash ones) from hole in the walls to Michelin star restaurants across multiple continents. Yesterday’s was the worst by far. Burnt all round and seemingly made by someone with deep rage inside them. The K-shack fries barely had seasoning on one side. Completely listless stuff. As an owner of multiple restaurants myself, I believe the entire kitchen staff needs to be replaced at the Hartsdale location. I cannot believe that was the quality of food I was served from a Danny Meyer founded restaurant (I consider him a guru and his book Setting the Table was superb). Shake Shack has jacked up prices significantly and completely collapsed standards and I’m going to be telling the world that this restaurant isn’t worth going to. That I spent $30 on that largely inedible meal is unbelievable!
