Opinions de sushi ichimoto Hayward
Super fresh and really good. Got two Chef’s Choice nigiri, a Lion King roll, Rock & Roll, and a seaweed salad with crab sticks. Everything tasted great and looked amazing. Will be back.
This sushi restaurant is amazing! Suck great service and the sushi tastes so fresh and amazing. Everyone that works here is super polite and obviously works hard to please their customers. If you love sushi, you have to come try this place out, you will not be disappointed! I'll be back for sure.
Fish is outstanding Ramen is very good Tekka Don is very very fresh Sushi are tasty and salmon skin is crunchy and prices are on a very reasonable side !
We celebrated my son's confirmation here and had a great experience. We used their private room that follows some of the traditional Japanese traditions, where you have to take off your shoes and sit at a lowered table. The food was on point. I have 4 on atmosphere for where their location is at not for the restaurant itself.
Ordered the Snow Roll and a large beer. The roll was a generous portion and was excellent. The beer was huge. I’m guessing close to 2 pints! The restaurant is clean, service is friendly and fast, portions are generous and the quality was excellent. A tremendous value. Price was cheap for what you get in my opinion. I want to try the ramen next time. I’m saving this as a favorite so I can come back next time I’m in town. I highly recommend.
Took my family to Ichimoto for sushi yesterday. Ordered several sushi rolls & ramen. Service was good as both waitresses were friendly and attentive. Food portion was surprisingly generous, sushi was fresh, delicious and tasty, ramen noodle was "Al Dente" & prices are quite reasonable. Probably best sushi value for the money around the Bay Area & My family enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return in future. Thanks
5-Star Plus! This is a must if you enjoy Sushi. The quality and portions are absolutely some of the very best you can find. We wanted to try some Saki, but being unfamiliar, Christina let us know a out the Saki Tasting. We found our favorite Saki to order next time! We enjoyed a Rainbow Roll and the Sushi & Sashimi Platter.
Finally a great place for fresh sushi and such a plethora of options! The fusion avacado on fire is phenomenal! I also really enjoyed the SF Giants Bay Area roll! Love me some surf and turf! Prices are great especially for this area! I love this place and will be back! New favorite! Thank you all for such a delightfully pleasing experience! The pink bottle of sake was recommended for sweetness, not too sweet and an impressively tasty when paired with our dishes!

The portions are huge! Lunch is more affordable than dinner. The tempura was delicious and the sushi was good too!
Great old school sushi spot in an up and coming part of Hayward. Excellent fish artfully sliced and lots of unique nigiri (not just standard tuna, salmon, and hamachi). Can get busy and service can be slow (seems to have staffing shortages) but cozy little spot delivering great value.
Overall the food was very good. Not crazy about the Miso soup, or sauce for the Katsu Chicken that was my only disappointment. The Sushi, was great. Next time we will order only Sushi. My favorite was the California Crunch, we ordered The Lion King this was also very yummy as well, The Deluxe California was my son's favorite ( Didn't care for it too much, California Roll ( this was ok but needs sesame seeds and a sauce to bring it up) we also ordered two Katsu Chicken, I didn't care for the sauce, that was disappointing considering how good the chicken was. We also ordered Sprite as our drinks (tasted like the syrup was almost out) My son didn't care for the ginger slices, he said they tasted different, they were ok, but not what we are accustomed too. Can't complain, it was our first time their. We will return, but only for Sushi.
Great food at great prices and nice portions. Also eligible for Together for Hayward Yiftee gift cards. Friendly staff top off the whole experience for our family. We come here weekly!
I went here tonight and I was blown away by how good the food and service was. I've been eating sushi for years but this was - surprisingly - the best sushi and service I have ever had! The rolls were large and tasty, served on individual platters. The portion sizes were very generous - I had to take some home with me! The service was great. The place was busy but I was seating quickly, served promptly, and the food came very fast after ordering! My hot sake was served in a tea kettle of steaming water to keep it hot and delicious - and one of the servers was usually there to refill my sake glass as soon as I finished it off, despite the restaurant being very busy! When I was done, I had leftovers, and the server took and boxed them up for me, returned with a bag to carry them in. On my way out, no less than five staff members thanked me for coming and wished me a good evening. Overall experience was excellent and I very much look forward to returning. I just moved to San Francisco this week, and have quickly found my all time favorite sushi place!
We were visiting from El Paso TX and were staying at the Hotel across the street. We headed out to find lunch and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The best sushi we have ever had. The garlic edamami was amazing. Even their water is cucumber & lemon infused. Amazing people ❤️ and service. It was so good we went back for dinner the last night of our stay. Definitely recommend!
Never been here before but was in the area and decided to give it a try. It's a hidden gem! The food is fantastic, sashimi is super fresh, rolls are good size and they have quite a large menu to satisfy everyone. Prices are pretty good too. Definitely recommend trying this out.
Went in because of the fun artwork on the store front and stayed for the great food. Some dishes impressed more than others but nothing was bad. Prices were very competitive although I would hesitate to call it cheap. Rolls averaged $9-11 and were each at least 6 pieces. If you're going to go check it out, the lamb chop appetizer is a must. Trust me on this one. You will not regret it.
We just looked for a lunch place after a walk at the Cogswell Marsh along Hayward Shoreline, and found this place on Google maps. The sushi turned out to be the best we have had for a long time. Very fresh and generous portion. The Ramen was also delicious. Even though we don’t live close by, I would try to go there if I am anywhere near.
Excellent food and service! We loved the grilled BBQ skewers and the lobster roll is fantastic! The lobster hand roll is delicious as well. They also have ramune. Very reasonably priced and clean. Soooo very recommend
We stopped by this little place for lunch on a long drive. It was great! Outside of the restaurant there was cute artwork of characters, and the overall ambience inside was calm. The dragon roll we ordered was delicious. The salad in the teriyaki bento box had a little too much salad dressing in the salad, but everything else was really yummy! We had a great meal for a good price, I would recommend.
I’ve lived in Hayward my whole life and i’ve always looked at this spot and told myself I would try it out. Today was that day and when I tell you this was the best sushi i’ve had in my life. Not just that but the service was outstanding, refilling our water and checking up on us. Food came out really fast. Definitely recommend. Such a hidden gem, me and my sisters felt very welcomed. Price is amazing for the amount of food they gave us. They will be seeing me again.
Very nice value in store and doordash. Great pricing and happy hour is good
Jennifer and Christina are amazing and make me very welcome. Great place to eat and enjoy 😊
Went with my mom and we had 6 different rolls, fried calamari and fried jumbo shrimp. Wonderful flavors, we could not decide which rolls we liked best. I definitely will come back anytime I am visiting my mom.
Great food! Clean, peaceful, friendly & yummy! An hour before we had ordered from another place only to get tiny servings of chewy (think flavorless gum) tasteless food that cost too much- not here. Rice was fresh, everything tasted SO GOOD. 60 bucks, 4 rolls, fed 2 people with plenty for the next day (first place didn’t feed even one person & cost more too) I can’t wait to go back to them. This was to go but I the atmosphere is calming, my girlfriend will love it! Definitely 5 stars.
Hands down, this restaurant has the best quality sashimi. I live in Hayward and usually drive to Burlingame to eat the same quality sashimi that Sushi Ichimoto serves. I have tried the most popular sushi restaurants in Hayward, San Leandro, and the Tri Valley área; and Sushi Ichimoto has the very best quality sashimi and sushi. My Japanese friend recommended this restaurant when she found out I was brought up on fish. This was my second visit. I cannot even purchase this stellar quality of fish from the popular Fish Markets. If you are reading this please patronize this restaurant. I guarantee you will return. There is convenient parking, and the staff provide superb customer service, a total reflection of the owners. You can obtain a Groupon coupon online but even without the coupon, the fish is worth every cent you spend. Tanoshii shokuji o. Enjoy your meal.
go here with my gf all the time and it never disappoints. food is always good and always shocked at how low the bill is. the atmosphere is nice as the lights are a little dim. the servers are also very nice as well. highly recommend for a meal anytime of the day.
LOVE IT! I come here every other week for their delicious sushi and miso soup, and all of it is at a reasonable price! Definitely recommend to all sushi lovers in Hayward.
It was our first time here, loved everything. The food is five star and so does the ambience and service. We had chicken katsu, salmon teriyaki. Both were so delicious. The serving size is huge for chicken teriyaki and it’s so flavorful. It comes with side of rice, salad, and miso soup. The place is clean and servers are very nice. They offer you with complimentary edamame. The lychee tea was ok and my boyfriend loved his oyster and seaweed salad. I want to go back again and try different food.
From the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall but opens up to an inviting modern sushi restaurant. The service was terrific and the manger has the best hospitality. I ordered the fried hamachi, oyster Rockefeller style, fusion avacado, and baked lobster roll. Food is delicious and filling and definitely worth the price. I will be visiting here again.
I use to go here all the time when it was Ray's Sushi but wow this place is much better. The staff was wonderful and was on top of there game. We also got free ice cream for the kids such a friendly staff. I would recommend this place for big groups or just a date night such an awesome environment. The food was amazing and came out pretty fast. Thanks for the great experience Sushi Ichimoto.
Tonight is our anniversary and we have decided to make it special. We have a usual spot where we normally get sushi, because of the pandemic, we wanted to order locally so we don't have to drive far. We chose Sushi Ichimoto and boy, it was totally worth it! Not only was the presentation on point, it was also pretty (highly recommended for all foodies who love to post on IG). The sashimi was extremely fresh and I could taste the fish swimming in my mouth. Their fried oysters were so fresh that I can still taste it just thinking about it. Their rolls were just spot on and will certainly fill up every inch of your stomach. If you are looking to celebrate, or just craving for sushi, look no further, this is the spot for YOU!
My order was ready faster than expected. They had anime paintings all over the restaurant but they painted over it 😤 I ordered the spicy hamachi, has a lot of flavor for $6 it’s a great deal and is my favorite no soy sauce needed. The 49ers roll has salmon and lemon on top and avocado and cucumber and tobiko inside is good with soy sauce. The cherry blossom roll has tuna sashimi with crab and avocado topped with tobiko(caviar) tastes really good. Overall I had a great experience here and will be added to my go to sushi places.
Absolutely incredible food, fair prices, and great specials. The sashimi was incredible, plating and presentation was lovely and their tea was delightful.
The food is absolutely delicious personally as a sushi fan I love it so much. My brother loves the teriyaki chicken I love California roll the cherry blossom crunchy California all so good to love it. Staff are super nice facilities are amazing and the service and the ambience is just perfect.
The food is good and the service is great, the waitress for very attentive to us. I went there with my dad and he got the recommendation through Facebook. The one thing is the calamari is from the giant squid so it is not as crunchy as I would have liked it to be however it was still good the presentation of the food was nice 👍
The fish is amazing; full sushi grade!! Prepared w/love! My waitress was obnoxious. Brought sushi when I ordered sashimi. Then made a huge deal about her AMAZING service, fishing for a big tip, on a 1 top. She walked my one roll and 2 sushi’s about 15’ and poured a Sapporo and seemed to expect a 35% tip for that, lolz. Go for the amazing food, not the atmosphere or service. The other waitress I’m sure is fine but the bossy one, not so much.

Very good food and excellent service. Went there for the first time for my bday and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered salmon teriyaki, California crunch roll, volcano roll, gyoza, garlic edame and plum wine. Will definitely make a return visit as there are so many other items I want to try from their extensive menu.
Read reviews on this place and stopped in while I was in the neighborhood! Order some sushi for tryout. Hamachi stomach, ikura, Toro, Hotate and oysters! Sushi quality is above average and the oysters were plumb and fresh. The hamachi stomach was oily and the Toro was delicious! Reasonable price and good service. I will be back to tryout more!
Quality sashimi at fair prices. I was pleasantly surprised by Sushi Ichimoto. We came here for a family dinner on a Sunday around 5:30 pm. There were only two other parties at the time so we were seated immediately. Their menu was consistent with other Japanese restaurants in the area; there were bento boxes, appetizers, specialty maki rolls, nigri, and sashimi. We opted for ankimo liver appetizer, the Oakland A's roll, a Snow Roll, Salmon Teriyaki bento, and their 30-piece chef's choice sashimi. Everything was very good. The Oakland A's roll and Snow roll were very similar so I would not recommend ordering both. The sashimi was very good quality, but I would have wished for more variety. The 30 pieces consisted of only 5 different types of fish so there were 6 pieces of each. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere could be better. They play music a bit loud which makes it difficult to have a table-wide conversation. Also, their choice of music is awful. Aside from that, I enjoyed our meal.
Open Christmas night (tonight)until 9 pm. Nice place. Good food, friendly staff. Had the 49er, salmon and avocado roll, mushroom roll, and a very nice light chicken salad.

Food was pretty good, ordered the chef's special sushi but got sashimi. It was still good, but some people can't eat the straight fish. Everything else was fine and fairly priced. Felt bad for the staff because there was some crazy dude that walked in but I didn't let that affect my review.
This place has survived the pandemic quite well. Now that dine in is available, it's back to the dining pleasure of the good food I used to know. As expected, prices have gone up and the rice bowls have shrunk but that's okay. Their bento boxes are still full of the good food I used to love. Will probably come back to try our other favorites as before. Then maybe that extra star I gave this review may stay. We shall see.
Great sushi. Thoroughly enjoyed the authentic dishes here. Service was also very good. Location could be a little more sanitary, but that's just me.
I am super impressed with the food. I am normally used to spicy ramen but their beef ramen was just satisfying!!! Their sushi was just mouth watering delicious. The atmosphere was out standing and comfortable. The first waitress was super sweet and made me feel comfortable and at home. The only things that were mediocre was one of the waiters. When served me sushi his attitude could be so much better. Also I don’t like how tips are required. Other than that GREAT place to dine for Japanese food!!!
The food was A+! Generally, this is all I care about with sushi! I entered for my 1st time there, greeted me, and asked to sit anywhere. I chose a table and, within minutes, asked to change tables in case a larger crowd arrived. It was awkward and embarrassing. Ordered food and enjoyed the authentic Japanese experience. When finished, I waited patiently for the server's attention that I was ready for the bill. 15 minutes passed, had to use the men's room, and upon returning to my table, a male waiter(not mine) met me at the restroom door and said, "Oh, here you are!" Asked if there was a problem. "We didn't know where you were." Awkward and made me feel like I was a "dine-n-dash" person. A bit humiliating again in front of other patrons, I explained that I waited 15 minutes for my waitress after my meal for the check. It ended fine, and I chalked it up to a pitfall of dining alone as I seldom do. Maybe a bit more decorum by the service staff the next time circumstances are similar. Went back the following day to meet a friend for lunch because the food was so good! Different service team and had a great lunch. Will attend again.
This place was good. The sushi is fresh. It can get a little pricey but the quality is there. If you are not sure what you want the staff is helpful but will upsell you to maximize sale but that is expected under capitalism so no surprise there just be mindful of what you are ordering because the cost stacks up quickly. Overall I recommend in comparison to other sushi restaurants.
This place is located in a strip mall. There are lots of free parking spaces available. Do not leave personal belongings in your car while dining. Place was packed with customers. I only came here for their ramen. I was not disappointed. It was filling and delicious. I will come back here and try their sushi next time.
Sushi is good, but not to impress with waiters service, since they already include the tip to your bill, they don't really try to give good service
I've been here for lunch for a few times now and every time I leave satisfied. The wait staff is polite and attentive. The food or at least the Bento boxes are reasonable priced.
I used to love coming to this place. Over the years, my friends and I have bought Groupons and always enjoyed our meal. The time my partner and I went most recently before last night, we noticed they started adding tip on the check, but I don't recall if it was mentioned anywhere. As people in the service industry ourselves, we always prefer to leave a cash tip and to be allowed to decide how much to leave. When we went last night, it was not overly busy, but the service was so-so and so was the food. It may have been our last time visiting Sushi Ichimo. He ordered the salmon teriyaki dinner which came with an okay size piece of salmon a small pile of broccoli and a few carrots, a small scoop of rice, a small house salad and a small miso soup. And I ordered a small miso soup and two of the more basic rolls, and that's really what they were, super basic. Not very flavorful and seeming to be salty. Our water glasses and my hot tea was only refilled once, after we asked and that was the last time we saw any server besides them taking our order and we asked for the check... which was when we got the refills for fear our server wouldn't come by again.

Understaffed team on a busy night. We had reservations do we were able to get our table on time. There were only 2 waiters on a busy Saturday night. It took over 20 minutes to get our order for drinks in. The waiters were scrambling from table to table. Food was good. We ordered several dishes and were satisfied with the quality of the food. The service was just too slow. They really need to hire a 3 waiter.

Food is good, service is fine. But this place forces tips, it’s predefined when checking out. Just to make it clear, I am okay with tip, I will probably even pay more than the predefined amount (18%), but I am not happy with mandatory tip.
Edit/Update: This restaurant changed. Quality has dropped. I am editing this from 5 to 3. Today I ordered two Unagi Hand-Rolls and both were slightly undercooked. Luckily I did not suffer health issues. But even just in terms of taste, Unagi is supposed to taste crispy. But half of the piece I got was almost entirely slimy. Previous review: Very Authentic. I wish I can go and dine in but only had time for take out / delivery. The Beef Sukiyaki Don / Gyudon is very authentic. I am glad it is not just all grease and sugar like the other "Japanese restaurants" around here. It even comes with an egg to mix into the beef. And the rice potion is great, too. I love it!
The sushi is perfectly edible but not quite what you want. The fish could be fresher, or the chef’s knife might be dull, because the hamachi inside our roll was all torn up/mushed. The takoyaki had an extra sauce that was very sweet that I don’t think is traditional. The service is also a little slow. But the place was clean, had plenty of parking, and there was nothing wrong with the sushi.
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!. Taste like dirty moldy pipes. Which means they probably cook with it so oh well. If they only new how clean water can enhance their food! They Auto tip 15% so prepare for general, order taking service.
I recently stopped by Sushi Ichimoto with high hopes of satisfying my sushi craving, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the atmosphere was pleasant and they boasted an appealing party room for an authentic Japanese experience, the overall quality fell short. To start, the service was disappointingly slow. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, it took a considerable amount of time to be greeted and seated. What's more, there was an unnecessary push for us to order the BBQ option, which we decided to try. However, this order seemed to have vanished into thin air, as we never received it. We had to specifically request its removal from the bill once it finally arrived. The food itself appeared promising, but the execution did not live up to expectations. The sushi lacked the freshness and quality that one would anticipate. It's unfortunate that the potential of the cuisine wasn't fully realized. In summary, while Sushi Ichimoto offers an inviting ambiance and the potential for an authentic Japanese experience, the slow service, missing order, and underwhelming food quality ultimately overshadowed the positives. I hope the management takes these aspects into consideration and makes improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.
Under California’s new pricing law (SB 478), any mandatory charges like tips or service fees must be clearly disclosed up front on the menu. That wasn’t the case here. I came here recently and while the food/service was okay nothing special , I noticed something really off when it came time to pay. After we handed over our card, the receipt came back with the tip line already filled in with a number without anyone asking us or mentioning it beforehand. We weren’t told that a tip would be added automatically, and it wasn’t labeled as a service charge. It was just typed in on the receipt as if we had entered it ourselves. That felt dishonest, especially since tipping should be optional unless clearly stated. I understand tipping is expected, and I usually do but this felt sneaky. Just want others to be aware and double-check your receipt before signing.
They automatically tack on a 15% tip to your bill, yet they don’t even refill your water or drinks once. Nor did they come by to take your plates. There’s an air of arrogance by the staff. Talk about entitlement.
Ordered the lunch special. Service was prompt and friendly. The miso soup came quickly and was good. However, the Sushi was sorely disappointing. It lacked freshness and was completely missing the authentic Japanese taste. From the rice used for the Sushi to the overall flavor, it all tasted flat, like a weak imitation of the original. Having had some excellent Sushi in/around San Jose's Japan town, in Cupertino, and elsewhere in the Bay Area, this didn't quite cut it for me. However, I should mention that my experiences may now be dated, and the places I found great may not even exist anymore. Or change far more.

This is very disappointing, with the fish set 17.5$ comparing to the chicken set 17$, it’s a pretty unreasonable portion.
Foods used to be great! I’m not sure if ownership has changed hands but it was one of the worst foods place experience we had. We had 4 orders, 2 of them were mediocre so I’m not going to complain about it. But the seafood ramen soup, it was so sad looking, had 1 shrimp, small bits of octopus tentacles, couple small pieces of imitation crab meat and couple of pieces of seaweed. The noodles were supposed to be egg noodles but they look and taste like instant packaged noodles. Then our California crunch roll was cold and stale. We left almost the entire order behind after taking the first bite.
Be aware, servers add the TIP without asking you, if you pay with credit card, service is average to slow from time to time, is a better idea to pay them cash, that way you can choose how much TIP you want to leave depending on the service.....
The first few times i ordered i was happy with the food but that definitely changed. I normally order take out for convenience and because its nearby. in one instance I ordered online and I get to the restaurant and my order wasn't even ready. Apparently they hadn't even begun to prepare it, they canceled and were not clear as to why. I was at the restaurant already so I waited 20 more minutes. The quality wasn't the best considering the price I'm paying. I figured maybe an off day. I order again a different day the food was ok. I honestly feel I can get better quality at the same price somewhere else. I don't mind paying high prices for sushi it's a given that it can be pricey but you pay for quality, and I don't see the quality. I have posted a review in the past but I believe it was removed not sure why.. it was not offensive or disrespectful just honest and my issue was never addressed by the owner its been close to 6 months since i posted that. this review was about their dessert.... I really enjoy cheesecake it's my favorite so if I can order sushi and cheesecake at a restaurant I'm excited! But I wasn't excited to see what I paid for. I ordered one slice to try I get home and I see the tiniest slice it was literally 2 bites at most. I paid over 6 dollars for it I believe and I was not happy. Since then I have not returned and I don't feel at this moment I can recommend this place to anyone to be honest
So while I love sushi. This is not a melanin friendly environment. I ordered through uber eats and got my order verified while the following person who lacked melanin who did the same didn't. Has anyone else observed this behavior from their staff? This is now the 2nd time they did this and I am no longer returning to their restaurant.
I hit there at 2:15 pm today and the host said they cannot seat us down because they are closed. I told her your website doesn’t say you stop taking orders at 2:15. I told her their website says close at 2:30. I told her they need to update their website to say last order at 2:15. She told me they need chef will get mad if she takes my order.
The service at this place was TERRIBLE! Never once did they walk around and asked if we were doing ok, and they never refilled our waters! BUT THE FORCED US TO GIVE 15% tips? $10 worth of tips for what????? What service did we get?? Taking orders and service is a part of their job so what other service did we get?? The lady with the pony tail even circled the tips section and said “just tell me which choice you want, 15%-22%” !!! I thought tips were suppose to be free will, as in the customer gives how ever much reflected up the service that they received. Isn’t this just forcing people to give them money??
Our family went to sushi ichimoto on 9/4/23 @8:15pm. We were seated and handed drinks before 3 other groups of people started to come in. The guy waiter did not even check on us, instead he went to the table that came after us to take their orders. The lady waitress also went to the other 2 tables to take their orders as well, leaving us waiting. It was late and we did not want to wait longer for our orders to be put in, therefore we got up to leave. As we got up, the guy waiter came over and I told him that he should have taken our orders when we came first. He just said “fine”, no sorry whatsoever. Our family usually come get for sushi, but after this incident, we will have to go somewhere else. I’m hoping the owner sees this comment and ask his servers to be more courteous to their customers next time.
The food and service in general is good EXCEPT there is 1 Asian waitress lady around 50 years old who is very mean, rude. I came today to order take out, the first thing she said to me is “ Look at the menu QUICk and TIPS here is 20% ok? ??? I will never coming back that place as long as she’s there. I dont know the owner stills keeps her . What kind of service is that!!!
My family and I have been going to Sushi Ichimoto for as long as the kids can remember. Tonight, I took my son and daughter to dinner while Mom is at work. We ordered a bunch of food (over $100). The food was good, the service was so-so, but that's sort of always the case and we've never been particularly picky about the order food arrives or how fast as long as it isn't insanely long waits, and it never is. As I see from other reviews recently, it seems they're automatically adding a tip of 20% onto every bill without disclosing this prior to running the card. I don't think I've ever once tipped under 20% at this place. But they've also never made that mandatory. Turning what is a tip for service into a mandatory fee is unacceptable. I understand it for large groups, that is fairly standard. This is not that. The end result is we will never be returning. You have lost loyal customers tonight through needless greed.
My friend invited me to sushi at this restaurant today. It was my first time. The waitress and other employees working there was very rude and mean and they all sound very agitated . The food looked disgusting. When I approached the waitress about the grilled chicken which I ordered was not on the plate. Looks like the chicken was steamed and not well cooked. There was some kind of bad smell coming out of chicken. The smell was unbearable. So I asked the waiter and the waitress please take it off my table, they refused and insisted me to pay. They were very argumentative and could understand what they were saying, because of language barrier. The only reason I went there because of my friend. I regretted going to the restaurant. If it wasn’t for my friend I will not go to this restaurant never ever again. The food was disgusting overall and the customer service was very very poor as low as it gets.
I don't know why they chart party services for 4 adults and 1 kid is 5 years old ( he just sits down without eating) . But services not really good when I come 2 peoples. My husband asks her something, but she goes away. My table doesn't have soy sauce. But they still charge 26$ party services for 5 people
why the service is so horrible. If you continue read please do your judgement. I have ordered 2 diner and 2 other sushi roll online since 5:33pm. When I got there around 6:19pm. My order is not ready yet without a reasonable explanation. I have confirmed they have my order in their system and have me wait another 15min to my order complete. Now time is already 6:50pm and my order still not ready. I have my 2 years old child with me. I have been waiting long enough and didn’t hear a single word of apology. I don’t recommend this place at all.
I got some rolls and ramen ordered via Grubhub, and they put a cooked roll (super dynamite roll) and a raw roll (hurricane roll) in the same container, and then smashed the raw roll against the wasabi and ginger. I know that I'm sacrificing some freshness by waiting 30 minutes for delivery, but it's not supposed to be slightly warmed up. I also got the roast pork ramen and man oh man was it BLAND. The broth, the noodles, even the meat. Even after a good dose of sodium I still couldn't taste much. The deep fried roll was good, and overall you get good sized portions on everything. Flavor wise it was severely lacking, and the warm raw roll plus bad presentation put me off completely. I finished the fried roll and tossed everything else. Bad $50 spent.
Came here with my girlfriend and a Groupon for $100 worth of food and the food was good. We did our best to get to a total of 100 and, with dessert to go, we actually managed to do it. However, when the server/host came by, she informed us that we actually needed to get to a subtotal of $100 for some reason and couldn't use the Groupon otherwise. This wasn't disclosed anywhere in the Groupon description or in store until after I tried to use it, even though I asked them when we got there if they take Groupons. I had to buy 3 sodas and two extra desserts I didn't need for $40 so we could use the Groupon, which already costed like $70. Absolutely ridiculous and scammy, I won't be coming back.
I walked in and waited at the host stand for the host to greet me. He seemed like he was really busy so I just waited. About 6 minutes later a white couple walked in and as soon as they walked in he greeted them and was about to seat them. I said "hello, I've been standing here waiting to be seated and you didn't even greet me". He said I thought you was her and pointed to a black woman behind me (that did not even resemble me). The couple insisted that he seat me first. I sat down and then they sat the couple. The server greeted the couple and they had an app on the table within 5 minutes. I ordered a side salad and a sushi roll. 15 minutes later, so side salad?!? It's literally just lettuce. I asked another server about it and the salad came within 2 minutes along with the roll. I can tell this guy wanted nothing to do with taking care of me. I did end up speaking with the manager and he was very nice. He should probably train his host to mimic his behavior. Too bad the service was terrible. This place had potential.
