Great place, delicious food, courteous service. It is a pity that the building is small. Portions are large and hearty. We were three and we liked it. I recommend tasting their food and visiting this place. The soups in them are also delicious! We asked him to take the soup home with him. Come and be happy! Thanks for reading my review!:)
Today me and my Wife, we stopped by this restaurant that it looks like if it’s in the beach, they have very good parking space, also very good location. We ordered 2 sushi rolls, one soup, and bento 🍱 box with salmon tari yaki and mackerel and a Japanese beer. Al the food was amazing it was so delicious my wife told me that this is the best tasting and quality Japanese food that she ever tried, I suggest you guys to come by this place, you will see. And also the servant was very polite and thoughtful, he did everything for us. Thank you for giving us such good service.
Amazing place. The rolls are huge size, fresh fish and rich flavours! Really professional and polite service. Now it’s one of the favourite sushi places))
Haven't been here in years. So glad I was able to stop in for lunch. It's still great as i remembered. Small and cozy, but great and fast service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered edamame, fried soft shell crab and 2 Bento boxes. Very reasonable prices.
Great role and a great prices. The rolls were fresh and very filling as well. I had the deep fried salmon roll, the chicken teriyaki roll (which comes with extra chicken!), and the futomaki roll. Will def be coming back to try more.
Local hidden gem. High value for money. Waitresses are friendly and the manager is very attentive.
Amazinggggg sushi. So fresh and amazing cuts! So tender and well prepared. I'll be coming back no doubt for more!
I have a very hard time finding GOOD sushi in the Bay area and I'm so glad we stopped here. The nigiri was good and the fish was fresh and great. The nigiri was a bit larger than I'm used to, which is generous but a bit of a mouthful! I was so full on the 9 piece nigiri set. Total for two came out around 30 which is super cheap especially for the quality and even portion of food we got. I have paid well over 25 a head for very bad sushi at other places. My bf got a tonkatsu plate and they did a great job with something that was very crispy and not a pile of damp panko and overcooked pork like most places will serve. They probably used some kind of starch to get that level of crunchiness. It was lovely. I am a bit out of the way (Berkeley) but I might make a trip down just to come to this place! I strongly recommend Sushiland!
Still some of the best sushi around....been coming here for years because I like how fresh the food tastes. And for someone who is not big on sushi I can def tell the difference. Best to order on the phone ahead of time like 30 mins before pickup because this place gets busy.
Is a family own business, they all nice and the food is excellent and fresh, price is worth, but is a small place if you go on busy hours you gotta wait for table
Bang for the buck kind of place. Generous portions, high quality Sushi. Ambience not suitable for a first date. Lol. But food is good.

Best sushi spot in the bay area. Super clean, price is okay, order an hour before pick up though. Lion king, mission roll and tiger roll are the best rolls here.
My daughter loves sushi but has soy alergies. They take the time to make sure her food is always soy free. Never had a problem eating there.
A great deal for really high quality fish, they have the best sashimi around. Their portions are generous, and all the different combo rolls are delicious.
Great food and service. Small and out of the way but feels like a top sushi restaurant inside. Can't wait to go back.
Oh my goodness, people, go. Go and eat this food. We have been coming to this restaurant since 2013. Always clean, courteous, and packed. Don't wait till youre starving to roll up, bc there is always a wait for dine in or take out. Don't want you to expire while your order is pending. We've eaten a bunch of different things on the menu including teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon, salmon tempura rolls, hot night roll, California rolls, miso soup, veggie udon, sashimi, and have never been disappointed. Okay that's a lie. Salmon teriyaki was meh at best. I like the mackerel better. And Salmon tempura rolls are fabulous. So yummy!!😋😋 May i also add, i am a gastronomic canary in a coal mine. If food is even slightly spoiled, moldy, ingredients old or not that fresh, you can count on upset tummy and - ahem - epic manifestations of gastrointestinal distress within hours. I mean it...EPIC. This place never made nauseous or gave me the runs - which is high praise indeed. In these COVID times, that's a biggie. So, go and eat mein bubbeleh. Mangia with confidence. Solid decent Japanese food w good flavors and pretty good service. Consistent performer. Def thumbs up.
Best Japanese I've had in a long time. Great tempura and very nice salmon used in dishes. Very far from where I live else I would definitely return. Great job Sushiland.
Great sushi, especially for the price, it was packed and we still got served quickly. I used to only go to Yo Sushi in Alameda, but I'm starting to like this better. Only complaint is they don't take American Express :(
BEST SUSHI IN THE BAY !! I love this spot .. The sushi is soo Delicious, FRESH ! My favorite is the Lion King, It’s perfect ! Pricing is good worth it ! Cooks are really good, I can never leave without tipping them. I take all my friends here . YES !!
I haven't been here in several years but the sushi, tempura, and pricing were all great at the time. I would probably revisit in the area and recommend to others.
Remarkably fabulous. Yes, wonderful people. Perhaps a Beta-version location, hmm? Yes, perfect Tempura; paired with seaweed and chef's choice salad, two can reset for two weeks, one behind and the next in line! See you tomorrow!
This place was the only restaurant in the area who would take us in on Valentine's day without a reservation. We showed up thinking we are just lucky to find a place to eat and had no expectations for a great culinary experience. Boy were we wrong. This is the best Japanese restaurant I have been to in a long time. Crazy part is all the employees are Korean.
Sushiland is awesome. They are an inexpensive tiny sushi place on a part of mission blvrd that is utterly abandoned. Their offering of sashimi is fresh and delecious while their roles are prepared quickly and easily satisfy. They also have a beer and sake selection that is perfectly lovely and the weight staff works quickly to juggle the constant demand of customers dining in as well as those ordering out. There are many customers ordering out as the place is tiny, almost shack sized and the parking around it is minimal and can fill up quick. My suggestion is to order out often and support this place as they are doing a fantastic job, outperforming many local sushi shops on quality, taste and price simultaneously. One of my favorite in the Hayward, San Leandro area.
I was sceptical of this place at first, but trusted the reviews and I'm glad I did. Place is cozy inside... seats 19 ppl but the best thing is food. They serve very good quality sushi. Staff is welcoming and very accomodating. I would definitely come here again but too bad I live in Sacramento.
By far the best sushi on this side of the bay. Very small place, had bevome knoen and now popular so there is usually a wait for a table or even a counter spot. Elbow room only so not for those who need their space. Always fresh fish havent had a baf expetience and Ive bern coming sincr this place opened a few years back.
Can't go wrong with sushiland prices and quality! Their raw fish is the most worth here. Wouldn't order any of the super saucy rolls personally bc I'm a simple raw fish lover, but everything here is great! Been going here for years. It's a small joint with maybe 6 tables, so plan ahead if you're going at rush hour.
Very small building but the wait is never too long. The sushi is definitely worth it, I recommend the lion king, and rainbow rolls with the monkey balls as an appetizer! Staff is super friendly and make you feel very welcome the second you walk in.
Don't let the small shop fool ya, because they have really good sushi here. The price is also pretty cheap for the quality of fish they use. Definitely one of my favorite sushi places around the Bay Area. Love their Salmon here, they make it so tender, and the staff is really really nice. Waters always filled, and tea upon request.
There are so many bad sushi places out there. This is NOT one of them! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I eat here a couple times a month and frequently bring my friends. We've never had a bad experience here. It's a small place so you may have to wait to get a seat, but it will be worth it.
Good quality food, fresh fish, good size portions, good prices. Busy so you know the ingredients are moving. Some other places are slow or hurting for money and you can taste it in their food. Sushi Land is not one of those places.
Best sushi place yet in Hayward. We ordered the sushiland bowl and a Lion Roll and a Dragon Roll. Portions are good. Price is good. When we ordered by phone , they are pretty accurate in estimating the time for the pick up. Planning to order more next time.
Loved their food and large portions, good price.
Always quick and fresh, this quaint sushi restaurant, located between used car dealerships, is the best kept secret in Hayward. You’d never expect the level of service and quality from looking at the street view, but you won’t regret coming here! Delicious food, friendly staff and reasonable prices!!!
The food is amazing. The staff is super attentive. The service is quick. Best of all it is super affordable. The rolls melt in your mouth. Quickly became a go to place for lunch or dinner in our house.
Hi guys,Simply just Phone in your order & your in & out every time or dine in. All of there Chefs here have Always cooked to perfection everytime!!! I love coming here,My favorite is there Salmon terryaki dinner and the Chicken terryaki dinner n both dinners come w/rice,soup n salad. But this amazing appetizer is to die for called Monkeyballs but dont let the name fool you!! These mushrooms are the best side dish ive ever had,its a Mushroom dish with an outer soft crunch topped with a special toppings that will have you ordering this dish every time you come back. Its the best appetizer ive ever had. This Gem of a Restaurant is one you wont want to miss out on. There customer service is always great n Jerry the Owner is the best,They all always greet you. Great all around Customer service. Thank you Jerry & Sushiland employee's.
super friendly folks here! tiny unassuming spot, surprisingly cozy inside and very good veggie sushi. excellent service, and they welcomed my request for customized rolls! I will go back, and recommend this place to my friends.
This little unassuming spot has the best Sushi I have had. I have been a Sushi addict for many years and have eaten at a lot of restaurants but this is fresh and made well and that is what sushi is about. It is a small place and sometimes has a line but they all know how good it is. To go, works well they are a great team there.
this is my favorite sushi place. It’s a little far (20 something minuet drive) from me. I do have chef teriyaki closer to me but when I have time, this is my go to place. Just a heads up, It’s a small place and does get busy so if you want take out you should order on the phone or you will be waiting for a while. Other than that, it’s a great place!
One of the first places I tried sushi 🍣! Place never disappoints and customer service by owners and attendants is of the at most quality. Sushi quality, fried or raw is truly exquisite! Little location but you won’t regret stopping by. Good for lunch dates 🙂
What a pleasant surprise. We are from San Francisco and were visiting our invalid uncle at Kaiser Rehab. Used Google maps around you and Sushi land was 3 minutes away. What did we have to lose? Nothing!! Really good food. Beautifully fried soft shell crab and tempura. Loved the poki salad.
What a place to visit if you are in need of some sushi! At first glance I was skeptical, the location isn't great and the building is very itty bitty! On second glance, I couldn't help but notice all of the smiling faces and the happy people! Before I even sat down to eat I could see the dishes around me and everybody's food looked too pretty to eat. We got a seat quickly and the menu had so many playful sushi options to choose from. Luckily the price was reasonable and I was able to try a collection of different rolls and I even tried hot Sake for the first time. I was so happy with this visit, we were talking about it for days. i will be visiting again soon and I recommend this place to anyone who needs a sushi roll in their life right now!
This is our favorite sushi spot, great service, awesome food. We go at least 1-2 times per week. The Mission Roll, Tiger Roll, Lion King and Golden Gate Roll are usually our go to from the menu.
By looking at this place, you wouldn't expect it to be as amazing as it is. It's a small building but always packed as the food rocks and at a reasonable price! If it's too busy for your taste simply get it to go! Service is speedy and staff is consistently friendly. Unlike a lot of sushi restaurants, they are conveniently open mid afternoon as well as Sundays. Teriyaki sauce has great flavor w/ the perfect consistency , creamy, miso salad dressing is on hit and the creative maki rolls are always fresh, in big portions & super delicious! So good that I find myself frequently craving a "Sushiland fix".=o) I highly recommend this diamond in the rough for a tasty yet affordable Japanese/sushi meal in the Hayward/San Leandro area! It's my first pick!!
Food was good. Service was good. I like the salmon a lot.
Love the servicing very attentive to detail. Food was perfectly done and very tasty. Will come back with wife and friends 🧡.
We live within a mile of this restaurant but never been here. Yesterday, since our favorite japanese restaurant was closed for the afternoon, we went here instead after checking good rating from decent amount or raters. And we glad we did! The food was delicious with a generous serving amount! The customer service is great and the place and bathroom is clean. Will definitely go back. Kudos to the owner and staff! You're doing a great job!
The food is great. There is even a small separate room with tables, that is usually free, great when you bring your small kids so the noice do not bother other people eating
Best sushi shop in town!! Excellent selection, food came out prompt and as always, the best! Staff is very friendly, feel like you're welcome and appreciated to be there. Highly recommend dine in or take out!
It was my first time going there! And i loved the Food and on top of it the service was amazing!! My kids loved the attention and our kind server!!! 100% recommend!!! New favorite sushi place ❤️
Honestly one of the best sushi places I've ever been too. Staff is helpful and quick, food is always fantastic, atmosphere is nice. The ONLY downside, it gets extremely busy, so sometimes there is quite a bit of a wait. But I mean, that's not something they can really control and considering they're so good, it's to be expected. Lovely place, keep up the good work.
While the seating situation is tight and we had to wait a bit for a table for two on a Thursday, the food quality was worth that short wait. The sushi was vibrant and fresh and tasted great. The service was both quick and attentive. I'd highly recommend having dinner here just be prepared to wait a short while.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The portion sizes are great, none of those annorexic rolls most places over-charge for. The staff is always friendly and I've yet to have bad service, even in larger groups. Only complaint I can think of is the size of the establishment. It's a small building but if it keeps prices down I'm okay with that!
Everything is amazing. My fave is the Lion king roll. The bento boxes are big! The 3. Items is big enough for two meals or to split between two people.
My family and I once went to sushiland. and ever since then we have never gone anywhere else whenever we want sushi. The sushi rolls are big, well priced and taste absolutely delicious. The servers are nice and always honest about when there will be a wait for either tables or to go orders. I have never had a bad experience here and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to support a small business with great sushi.
Absolutely amazing. Delicious sushi and amazing staff. Would 12/10 recommend. If you are looking for a last meal before you die that's worth it, go here. Best seating ever and very spacious restaurant
I love this place the customer service is great and the food is always top quality, I have ordered food hundreds of times from this place and only once I had a little inconvenience but it was fix right away, the order was replaced and delivered personally and I had an extra dessert and apologies for the inconvenience. If you love sushi this place to go to treat your palate. I recommend you to try jalapeño bomb, it isn’t spicy but believe me when I say is a mind blowing experience. I have an insatiable wife that loves going out and eat so I know a ton of places and I will keep you posted on the top of the bar food restaurants. Thank you Sushilan for the beautiful memories with my family and excellent service.
This place was awesome. Super nice staff, really fresh fish. Did takeout and they had the food ready 10 min earlier that they said they would and very fairly priced. Just a great hole in the wall sushi bar.
I've found that for however much I ate, the sushi was decently priced. The restaurant is situated in a run-down, somewhat shady area, although the people eating around me were decent. I also found the waitress to be pretty friendly. The sushi here is pretty much the same kind you'll find in other sushi restaurants, but I look for pricing whenever I eat sushi, really; that's what it all comes down to. I may come here again since I like how the restaurant is small and not overwhelming, and when it gets crowded, it's still quiet.
Everyone is super nice. They are nice from the moment you step in the door till the time you leave. The sushi is affordable and there are tons of options (check out their menu). There is a TV. Everything I've had has been good. Not top notch, but definitely commensurate with the price. Definitely a good value.
Sushiland has amazing sushi rolls & savory teriyaki chicken sauce! Everything I've had had been super tasty and their menu is very reasonably priced! I tried their green tea ice cream for the first time last night, and it blew my mind! They serve it with whip cream, chocolate syrup & cherry on top. I couldn't even tell it was green tea! Sooooo yummy! I love this place & highly recommend it! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The building does has limited seating, so don't be surprised if there's a line during peak hours, but they seat you quickly and have a fast table turnover.
Chill and affordable place that lets you enjoy your time. Workers are patient and respectful, and the amount of food is worth your money as they're not cheap in the quantity, and it's very well presented. I was expecting the bill to be very high and realized it wasn't as much as many other places serving the same type of food. Great work.

Yaaay! I love sushi land they make the best sushi land salad better than poki. Fresh fish, crispy temopra, gourmet rolls, cooked rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, good prices, short wait, deserts, outdoor seating best sushi in my area!!
As others have Said. It's one of the best places. More fish than rice. 🙏 I usually get the teriyaki roll but today got a spider roll (seen in pic) with veggies.

Decent "kind of cheap Sushi" (looks like the raised their prices recently), but not a lot of room to sit and eat. Maybe 25 to 30 people max. Take-out might be a good option instead.
This place is my wife and I favourite sushi place to eat. Hands down great food every time. Tonight was not that busy and it took awhile for my food, other than that it is a great place.
Food was amazing, service was fast. I don't often leve my comfort zone but a friend of mine brought me here because they have her favorite rolls. I found that they also have my favorite roll and they make it pretty decently.
This would be a five star place if it were just a bit more organized. The seating area is super small, maybe 7 four people tables? Something like that. The tables are right up to the door so when people come for their takeout orders it's a bit of a traffic jam. We were there and they didn't bring water when we asked, then about 30 minutes later when we asked again we ended up getting two sets (I guess our waitress and one of the other staff both took the order). The food itself was very good. Fresh tasting and delivered fairly quickly. The staff are friendly but with the TV and our different first languages we had trouble communicating over the menu and getting questions answered. The warriors were playing so I don't know if the TV was unusually loud for the game.
Yummy food, slight variations on normal sushi like the lion King roll. It's still good but different - doesn't come in foil and the sauce is different. The building is so so small though, and almost always full. They would benefit from moving to a larger space
Castro Valley and neighboring Hayward have limited spots that stay open pass 9:00pm. Especially on a Sunday. I love this place because the service is quick and the sushi is nicely priced. Portions are great too. The only down side that this place is pretty small and if you catch them at their peak, you'll definitely have to wait. Sushiland is definitely a hidden gem of the East Bay!
Portion sizes are huge! We all had to take food home. The flavor wasn’t 100% authentic Japanese but it was a reasonable price

Went there with my daughter. We got Bento Box with California Rolls Samon comes with a salad and soup. And we had a crunchy roll seaweed was kinda tough. I had chicken teriyaki rice bowl with veggies. Also came with a salad and soup. Everything was cooked good. No flavored to the dishes pretty much bland. Service was good 👍 It could of been maybe what we ordered. I don't think. Place was cleaned not a very big place. Every time I looked around all the staff were on their cell phones. Lol pretty much see that everywhere nowadays.
Don't expect too much from this no thrills Japanese restaurant which seems to be owned by Koreans. The food is average and the prices reasonable. This review is based on my second visit. 1. Miso soup is basically a spoon of miso powder plus hot water. Not real soup in my book. The waitress got lazy and used luke warm water. 2. The chef left a lot of fat in my beef teriyaki. Maybe just to make it a larger portion. It was also not cut completely into slices. It left me using my teeth to tear the beef - very unsightly. And they don't give you a knife. 3. Saba shioyaki (mackerel) well prepared and not a lot of bones. 4. Overall taste of the meal was good, including the salad and the rice. 5. The tea cup was chipped and upon closer examination it was glued back together. Not safe at all. You could cut your lips with that. 6. Service was acceptable if you didn't make any additional requests but waitresses would give you attitude if you did. 7. Very cramp place. Only ten single tables and a small sushi counter in the whole place. Long wait during meal times.

Bland sushi rice. No rice vinegar--nothing. More bland than unsalted rice cooker rice. And, tuna sashimi was gnarly--slightly stinky. Sideburn: Waiter at Sapporo sushi in downtown Hayward recommended this place--maybe avoid them too.
The food tastes good but we sat outside for a little over 40 minutes before our food arrived. Our hot tea had some Rice Krispy's in it or something like that kinda weird.
Rainy day, came when the rain let up a little. Dining is outdoor only so no dining during rain. Ordered for takeout bento box with chicken karaage and 8 piece california roll. The sushi was big. Food is not bad. Only come here for takeout.
Good small sushi spot. The sushi is on the better side of average and there's nothing unexpected on the menu. In fact, it's difficult to choose a roll at times because the rolls are all so similar. Prices are great and the staff is friendly which wins us over time and time again. Great spot for good sushi.
I ordered to-go. I like their Bento Box, but their Donburi had too much junk in it. And, not a big fan of their Nigiri-Sushi-Rolls. We will go there for sit-down/ dine-in or outside seating next time.
Rude cashier skipped over two females to favor taking order of men behind them. Wait 40 minutes, find items missing from bag. Sit outside in cold 40 minutes to wait for order. Drive back next day for missing item, still no apology. Very disorganized, badly run, soup and tea lukewarm. Only redeeming factor is that chef is skilled and knows his stuff but employees are ruining his reputation. They really need to act more professionally and be accountable.

Some of the fish I had was very good, others mediocre. Staff seemed to spend most of their time taking to-go orders; there was a whole other restaurant's worth of them. Tables were so close together that staff couldn't get around to clean up plates. Didn't get refills of drinks unless requested. The rice was amateur, and they charged for masago on my California roll but didn't deliver it. I liked the tamago, unagi, and salmon, one of the tunas was unpleasantly mushy. If it was very inexpensive, I could forgive all this, but it is middling in price.
Maybe three stars at best? Sushiland didn't deliver it's best service or food on the evening I visited. Nothing was terrible (although the seaweed salad was fishy and had to be sent back). But nothing was particularly good, either. Items were missing from our service and we had to ask for essentials. Our seats at the counter were crowded by the tables behind. Maki were a bit sloppy.
Costumer service is the worst, yes it's cheap and good for the price but the workers give you attitude. I had a problem with the "red head" I was one of the first ones there and I waited at least 45 minutes before asking if my order had been placed and she responded to me with an attitude saying "you have to wait ok!" and I was in shock so she repeated it back to me in Spanish. As I went on finishing my meal she would avoid me when I asked for a refill in my tea. I didn't want to argue so I ate my food and ordered the check she was quick to bring it to me too. When I got my change back she waited around my table and she noticed I didn't tip, she made a face and proceed to ask if I liked the service to which I said "yes it was great" in a sarcastic tone and left.
They usually busy on Friday night. I ordered 1.5 hrs ago, still waiting for my family dinner. Finally I got my dinner after waiting more than 2 hrs. I wish they re-evaluate how much order they can produce before receiving. Otherwise food was decent, except tempura, some pieces to hard on the edges.
I no longer love this place for dining in. And that is the reason I have gone there. With Covid they have become primarily a takeout restaurant. The staff don’t want to be bothered with you if you’re a single person and want to eat in. Even if it’s near home, delicious, and affordable, I am sure they will be glad that I likely won’t bother them again. I will be happy to spend my hard earned money somewhere else where being single isn’t evil and staff are friendly.
Food is good but service kinda sucks. We were ready to order. Lady asked me and mom "are you ready to order"? Mom said yes. Then the group of three guys behind, one loudly said "we are ready to order" while waving his arm in the air. She skipped us and went straight to the group of guys. Not cool. If you sit inside you get to dine in but if you eat outside, they give you food and drinks togo. Also they forgot my mom's California rolls and never gave them to us. Not happy. I gave them three stars but edited my rating to 1 stars. Also they don't itemize your receipt so you don't know exactly what was on your order. All it says on the receipt is that you used this card ending in these three numbers with this person's name on the card and then tell you your total. Not cool. :-( the California sushi rolls are $6.75 which would about equal to the price of $7 if you include tax and the price of a bag. We are definitely going back tomorrow when they open to go and ask for our California rolls. It was the most expensive thing we ordered.
Not a place to get Udon or squid tempura. Udon was soggy, broth flavorless, vegetables way over cooked. Squid tempura is not actually tempura, just fried calamari rings with corn meal breading. Plus the portion was super small - just about 3 to 4 calamari rings most about an inch wide with one ring about 2 inches wide. (For scale - that sauce container lid is about 1 inch in diameter.) Super dry, flavorless. I suppose it's good the portion was small as it was very bad? Take a look at the pic - does that look like tempura to you?

The food may have been ok if my bento box food was hot. Got it lukewarm and tempura was too greasy. After getting my food, my husband is still waiting for his rainbow roll, therefore the empty plate pic. I basically ate alone while he is STILL waiting. If you want to get sushi, cold only food, may not be bad. We will not be back. Assembly line Japanese at best. Look elsewhere for Japanese food.

Food is below average at best. Tempura batter is so thick you won’t even enjoy the shrimp anymore. It takes away the flavour. The salmon sashimi doesn’t taste fresh. The beef teriyaki sauce is salty. Their soup is luke warm and the salad doesn’t taste good either. The worst part, I have to rush home because of stomach upset right after eating.
Good food but bad attention from the staff ... a girl treated me very badly for arriving 10 minutes before my pick up time, just saying no this list was enough she just yelled saying your pick up time is in 10 minutes. I prefer to go when the owner is super nice.
I picked this take out place because of fake stars. I ordered seafood udon on Tuesday. There was literally no sea food at all, no fish, NOTHING! What a terrible place! Stay away from this cheaters! I threw away my udon. I wouldn't give this even to my dog! I know a much better place where they serve udon with plenty of fish and seafood and nicely cut vegetables. No wonder Sushiland is located in outskirts of Hayward. Stay away and don’t be fooled by fake stars
I’ve been here for years and as a kind person, I asked for no onions every time and 5/5 this year, they served with onions and when I asked them to remove, their waitress blamed me with horrible attitude. “Why are you not saying this at the beginning?” I accept that they miss my request every time cuz ppl are dumb. But blame me for ur own fault is too much for me. Like srsly these waitress need srs training. I am pointing this out only because their consistently amazing performance after years. Lmao
The WORST SUSHI I’ve had in a long time. I used to come here awhile back but dayum did the QUALITY go out the window ever since. Everything is bland, I ordered a lion king and i literally tasted the rice more than the salmon, I remember they used to put a fat slab of salmon on the rolls now you can barely find it. Honestly it’s heartbreaking how down hill sushi land has went. Gosh angry fish is probably better then these guys. Be better sushiland!👎🏼
I came in for the first time since they remodeled and hey got rid of all the Japanese cooks and sushi chefs and replaced them. I orders the shrimp tempura roll and as I was eating I felt something hard I bit into and whatever it was after I spit it all out I noticed whatever it was cracked my tooth in half! The staff refused to acknowledge and still charged me! It’s not about the money, it’s about taking care of what’s right. As much as I loved this place, I’m not coming back! Avoid if you love your teeth!
