Simply amazing. Sara and I went there for our anniversary and we were treated like we were family. The Chef came out and introduced him self, he even brought out our entree. The waiter was on point and always made sure we had everything we needed. After we finished our meal, the Cher gave us a complimentary dessert for our special day. ❤️

Always delicious! We love their meatloaf and salmon dinner! Absolutely filling! The Chinese chicken salad and cobb salad are also extremely yummy! The helping size is amazing. I love having leftovers because everything is always so delicious.

We had a very, very nice dinner. The 3 beet salad was fresh & tasty. The beef tips served over garlic mashed potatoes were robust, and the green beans sautéed with fresh garlic were cooked, but had a crunch still. Very pleased with this.

My experience here was so good I had to share after hearing some mixed reviews. This was a random stop my husband and I decided make after running errands. I am so happy we did, the food was great, service staff are very kind. We ordered the Ahi Tuna and Avocado Tartar as a starter. My husband ordered the steak frites and I ordered shrimp scampi and ended with the creme brulee. Everything was phenomenal. I was so sad because I accidently left the rest of my scampi at the restaurant when I was leaving! it was so good I had wanted to take the other half home, anyways new favorite spot in Lake County. 100% suggest for a date night.

Food Quality has made a very good turn for the better, at this place. When Ordering, just make sure the server gets your order right before they take it to the back. I haven't seen any Male servers at this establishment in a long time, +6 months about. Nor aauw what's going on in that area, burr the quality I'd Beef and the Cheese selections are very well selected. Threw Head Chef knows what he is doing and is about making consumers happy, as best possible. These are Home Town Folks here. They know that "We the people", TALK ro each other when we're have been to a local diner. I return to this place when I'm in town.

First time I've eaten here. Nice crispy french fries. Tasty fish and chips, plentiful Cobb salad and french dip. Cole slaw had a pleasant Poppy seed dressing. Priced right for lunch. Would not hesitate to dine here again.

The new greenview is a wonderful spot in lake county. The food is excellent and more than what you would expect from this homeowners association. Golf course restaurant. The service can lack at times, but other than that this place is probably one of the best places in lake county for food and beverage.

We had Easter Brunch here. It was pretty good. The server locked experience. Served us our milk after we finished our meal in a broken glass. Few issues. Overall a decent experience.

Inconsistency lowers the rating here. Taco Tuesday is a good deal with an all you can eat taco bar. Ask the waitress to bring the shrimp ceviche and soft corn tortillas. (There were only soft flour tortillas or hard shell corn on the bar.) Just about everything on the regular menu has dairy, so if you are dairy intolerant, you might not want to eat here. There is a full bar as well.

I moved from Sonoma to get away from pretentious pricing for mediocre food . 20$ for a burger yeah I'm good enjoy the beautiful building and a drink time to time but getting gouged for 28$ for frozen ravioli's isn't fine dining ots just ridiculous 😅😅

Rare burger was well done. Wait was very long to get food because they gave preference to the pick up orders. Waitress was nice enough to warn us. Probably would give it 2 stars but it is hard to find a good restaurant around here.

Grabbed lunch today.. fish and chips and onion rings. Very few onion rings for a $2 extra charge. Use to have 3 nice big pieces of fish . Today was 3 little pieces. No tartar sauce. No fork or knife. I had a turkey burger w/ sweet potato fries. Which were over cooked. No condiments at all on the burger, just plain bun.. no utensils. No ketchup. Nothing. Had to wait a good bit for order was not going to go back and ask. Usually good. Very disappointed today.

The third time the food took forever and came out cold. That is it, last try. The 3 stars is for having a good bar. But I would buy a deli sandwich at hardesters and then drink here...hope they get it together

My wife had the French dip and enjoyed it. The service was very slow, we would have ordered dessert but it took way longer than expected so we skipped it. The food was good off of the lunch menu. I had fish & chips and my friend had the hamburger 🍔. Plenty! We probably will not go back because of being served our meals in a take away box with plastic forks, etc. Spending money for a lunch served in a paper box, is not my idea! I wonder if they serve there dinners that way! Well we tried it..i won't get my friend to go again. There are much nicer places, even if we do eat outside! I guess Hidden Valley is out for us at the moment. Kelseyville is in for us! I am sure your locals like your restaurant.

Stopped eating here and I am local,suggest not to eat anything fried cook can't get it right,appetizers are okay. I don't drink but heard the bar is okay...the fan boys will tell you different but the food was way better before they rebuilt and for me it's a waste of money

Food was not that great. Sat outside with locals who told us they only go there for drinks. They felt the same way about the food as we did. We only at here because I read online that someone liked the food. Won't return.

UPDATE!! I went back tonight hoping for a better experience, sadly, i was disappointed. Not only was the food once again late and cold, but thier fried fish tacos were the worst fish tacos I've ever experienced. No wonder they lose $1000 a day! They really need to find a chef to run the restaurant, not some hack cook that tosses out inferior food to get through the shift! And, a restaurant manager that knows how to manage the front end! End of revision. The food is OK, not great, but the service is really poor. I live nearby and order takeout from my local restaurants regularly. This is the only one on my list that can't seem to have orders ready on time, and often the food is cold.

Unfortunately they clearly did not invest anything into the menu as the food is below average at best. The Greenview Restaurant is a "Home Owners Association Owned" Restaurant. It is funded by the Home Owners who have purchased homes in Hidden Valley Lake California. This Restaurant, for many years, has had a poor record of profitability and is subsidized by the Hidden Valley Lake HOA which pays to keep it open even when it operates at a loss. It needs to be permanently closed due to it's unprofitability. This fact was true for the last ten years and Covid-19 made it even worse. Many Homeowners in HVL HOA have suffered job loss and less income due to inflation. Now the incompetent HVL HOA Board Members want to tear down the unprofitable Greenview Restaurant and replace it with a 8.2 Million Dollar restaurant! The new restaurant would, of course, be paid for by the HVL Homeowner's monthly dues which today are $235 a month. The new restaurant cost would increase the HOA monthly dues to near $300 a month! This would be outrageous in normal times but in Covid-19 pandemic times it's just plain foolish due to the fact that restrictions may close the restaurant again in the future. Update: August 28, 2023. We took the whole Family to the greenview restaurant for a Birthday. Just as we expected, the food was not quite Deny's quality at best and after buying $25 hamburgers and sandwiches we took a vote. It was unanimous, we all voted that the food used to be better at the "old" greenview. We will be waiting for a financial report on the profit or loss of this 8.2 Million Mistake the Home Owners spent on this "out of place" failure of a restaurant!

3rd day of being open and its a rat race trying to understand if they are even open. Nothing on the Facebook page under information. The website has a "contact us: but that is it. Being a new restaurant reaching this information is detrimental. People want to try it and not deceived by hours of operation

He didn’t even know what customer service was!! Waitress could have been a little more aware of the poor services ce by bartender! No one on the bar 20 minutes to get two drinks! Waitress should have been after him to get it done!
