We had New Years Eve dinner with friends it was our first time there. Place was beautiful, food and drinks were amazing and so was our service. Can't wait to get back there again soon. We live in Hickory but would easily make the drive for a Friday or Saturday night dinner.

A Five Star restaurant in the heart of Greensboro near the airport and conveniently located near several hotels and main thoroughfares. This restaurant was good enough for us to dine here two times in three days. All of our meals were seasoned perfectly and prepared just like each of us asked. The service matched the meals. The entire experience was great all around. If you are near Greensboro, you need to definitely add this to your to-do list.

The chop house is a phenomenal! Ambiance is luxurious, and the service was prompt and attentive. We had the tuna appetiser and a filet entree. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend for special occasions!

My husband and I had dinner here last night and enjoyed it immensely. I had the hand cut ribeye steak and he had the halibut. The food was very flavorful and delicious. Our server Annette was the best. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was well made. Our group had the yellow fin tuna and the lobster macaronni and cheese. They didn't skimp on the lobster. Atmosphere is comfortable and spacious with an extensive wine list..

Ordered takeout from here last night and everything exceeded my expectations! Totally forgot to take pics of the food but I can’t wait to come back for more! They nailed everything from the presentation, flavor, to portions. I ordered the tenderloin medallions med well and they were still juicy and flavorful inside with the perfect crispy sear on the outside. Not overly salty at all. I also ordered the New Orleans pasta that had chicken and shrimp, both of which were also cooked perfectly and still juicy. The sauce had the perfect amount of spice too. As for dessert, the key lime pie was amazing! Very tart just how I like it. The creme brûlée didn’t disappoint either though it could have benefited from having a fresh strawberry as a garnish to help balance out the richness in addition to white chocolate discs.

This restaurant is an experience. From reservation to departure, they give the top-notch treatment. The waitstaff is skilled and personable, the food is excellent and delicious, you truly get what you pay for, and it's worth every penny.

The Chop House Bistro steak was tender, cooked perfectly, and wonderfully paired with a Gorgonzola cream sauce. The potato flowers were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Deserts (Key Lime Pie & Cheesecake) were also great. I will definitely be eating here again.

Have eaten here a few times for business lunches. This is a good option for entertaining visitors. Good quality, nice staff and fairly quick service. UPDATE: I have since bought my wife here for both lunch and dinner dates, which were both fantastic. Great service, great food, really nice decor, and great atmosphere!!

Salad was really good. Ranch dressing was superb (not the bottled kind). Ordered the Hand cut ribeye. Cooked to perfection and the flavor was on point. I opted for the Gorgonzola Cream Sauce Add on because I'm an extreme dipper. Mmmm, so good. Sweet Tea was just the way I like it, on the level of diabetes. Will definitely dine here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. Neither of us had been there before. Shante was incredible from the beginning and very attentive! The food.... Can't even describe the perfection! We got the spinach dip, a NY strip and the cowboy ribeye! Cooked to perfection, presentation was beautiful! Well worth the splurge for a 5 star meal!

Ordered the bone in Ribeye with cream spinach and lobster Mac n Cheese ... the food was FABULOUS... steak was cooked to perfection the way I like it. Our waitress Addi was Everything and more you could ever want in this particular establishment. She was extremely helpful with deciding on some menu items and extremely friendly. I will definitely be returning to this great place.

Had an excellent Saturday night dinner! I had the hand cut ribeye with Brussels Sprouts and my wife had a chop salad. Our appetizer was the baked Brie. All three dishes were outstanding. Our server Ashanti was an absolute delight to meet and went above and beyond to take care of us. Highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I have dined at the Chop House a couple times and every time has been wonderful. First, we are always greeted by smiling faces and feel very welcomed. The dining room is spacious and inviting. Our server, Karen, was friendly, professional, attentive, and made us feel very taken care of. We will continue to request her as our server! The food is delicious! We always order an appetizer, entrees, and desserts. The seafood dip is yummy and a great portion size. My husband has ordered their steak, which was cooked to his liking and very flavorful. He also tried the Chilean seabass and he really enjoyed it. I usually get a salad, which is a great portion, and they load it up! The desserts are also amazing! The keylime pie is delicious but the chocolate cake and ice cream is even better! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The variety of menu, staff, service, and delicious food make this restaurant suitable for couples, families, or businesses!

I hosted a private event at The Chop House and it was a success due, in large part, to the staff. From the very beginning, Rena was very easy to work with in planning event. And, the day of, our servers Hank and Grace were wonderful. They were very personable and also respectful of the type of event (a memorial dinner). The food was fantastic too -- not one complaint! And, the setting of the sunroom for our event couldn't have been more perfect. I would happily host another event at The Chop House, and I also highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing so.

Our dining experience at the Chop house was first class .Our waitress Karen was excellent in every way possible. Karen was professional, warm and friendly and right on time with delivering our food and refills. We frequently dine out and appreciate good service and Karen went beyond the call of duty to ensure our complete satisfaction. Bravo !

Always so tasty! I would like to give a shout out to Keisha and Lizzie! These ladies took such great care of my large group this past week for dinner! Having an amazing wait staff goes a long way- especially when the food is always top notch! I highly recommend the crab dip and mile high chocolate cake!

One of our local fine dining restaurants. Usually we like a nice sit-down dinner. Tonight we decided on appetizers and drinks at the bar. Teisha was our bartender. She was fantastic. I wanted a mixed drink to top the night off and she created one that was amazing. Highly recommend this place and Teisha as bartender.

My wife and I went here on February 7 for our anniversary. This was a very first time. First, let me say it was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences We’ve had in a long, long time. The staff could not have been friendlier or And the service could not possibly have been any better. I had lamb chops and my wife had the pork chops. The food was fantastic My lamb chops were cooked perfectly. All and all this visit to the Chophouse was phenomenal. It was truly a pure joy for me and my wife on our anniversary !

We experienced a short wait on a Saturday evening which was nice. Sat in bar area at booth as booth was preferred and dining area wait for booth would have been longer. Sashimi Tuna appetizer was superb. Crab Cake entree was delightful. Potatoes as side were very good. Halibut entree fantastic, would have loved larger portion. Cream spinach as a side was slightly above average. Service was provided by bartender. He was very polite and things were done good. It appeared he was overwhelmed which caused minor delays on beverage refills. All in all, fantastic visit. 4.5 stars.

The food was good, but the lamb chops could’ve used more seasoning. The soup was nice and hot and the lobster Mac n Cheese was delicious. Temperature in the restaurant was a bit chilly.

Our server was Danielle. She was new, so there were a couple of hiccups, but overall, I would enjoy being served by her again. She was charming, efficient, and accommodating. We enjoyed being served by her!!! Our food was outstanding; from the baked Brie appetizer, the Old Fashion cocktails, to our main courses of Short Ribs and Pork Chop; everything was AMAZING. ***Edit: MY food was outstanding. My husband point out that 1. His Asparagus was stringy and 2. Our Old Fashions had unstirred sugar at the bottom (I forgot because my food was delicious). Atmosphere: The restaurant was nice inside. What set us off (negatively) was the music! Music is integral to a dining experience; but it should not stand out at a place like The Chop House. We heard God Bless The USA and other obvious country tunes, loudly. It’s the same music genre we heard every day we worked at the Rockers’ ballpark. When out to dinner, if it’s not a BBQ joint, the music should be integral, but in the background. We did not like it. I am a veteran, I am patriotic, but I did not want to hear country music, and Lee Greenwood, while out to dinner here, paying the prices we paid here! I would expect that at a BBQ restaurant, not here. We could hardly stand it! Just being honest. Not impressed. So if music isn’t important to you, and you want a very nice dining experience, go to The Chop House and ask to be served by Danielle! As much as I appreciated her service style; I can’t imagine us going back.

What's up google. Ok so this place has been on my radar for a while. My family and I finally made it in and I have to say the service was stellar. I can appreciate the spirit of the wait staff trying there best to get us taken care of... Down side was two of the beers offered were no longer available once it was ordered. The steak and lobster special was sold to us as a 10oz with lobster at 83 plus tax. The steak came out 6oz at 95 plus tax. It also cam out bland for a high dollar steak. Other than that this place was good. It's worth a visit!

Lovely spot for a date night. We got the NY strip & crab cakes. Both very good and flavourful! Service was brilliant. A little on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure dining at chophouse. The duck breast and lamb chops were phenomenal!!!! But the star of the show was the lobster Mac and cheese !!! The waitress we had I believe her name was Karen with red hair!! Her customer service was truly amazing and she made the experience so much better!!! We will be back

Our Valentine’s Day dinner was amazing! Service was phenomenal. Jes will be our forever waitress when dining here. Her service was spot on! Very attentive to our needs. Making sure our food was cooked properly and our drinks were always full. Food was delicious! They hit the mark on taste and presentation. Our fillet and lobster tail was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be showing our faces back here for a couples night out. *Only thing I can see needed at this establishment is updating. The inside is a little outdated. A fresh coat of paint and reupholstered booths/chairs would make this 5 ⭐️ all the way around.

Chop House High Point is an elegant restaurant that sets a sophisticated tone from the moment you walk in. I visited with a craving for lamb chops, but my experience turned out to be a mix of highs and lows. The service was average. Despite there being only one other table of patrons in the restaurant, we waited approximately 50 minutes for our food. While the presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, the flavors often fell short. The lamb chops were tender but lacked seasoning, with mint being the only noticeable flavor in the sauce. The fried onion rings appetizer was uninspired and unseasoned, though the loaded potatoes were a standout, packed with delicious flavor. The spiced apple chutney was another highlight, beautifully complementing the pork loin chop. However, without the chutney, the pork chop itself felt bland and under-seasoned. The salad was fresh and generously portioned, but the New York strip steak was unseasoned, slightly chewy, and underwhelming. The sautéed spinach lacked flavor, while the potatoes once again impressed with their consistent seasoning and taste. The lump crab dip was a delightful appetizer—creamy, cheesy, and satisfying. The total cost of the meal came to approximately $230 including tip, which felt steep given the uneven quality of the food and the slow service. While the ambiance is undeniably refined and inviting, the overall experience left me uncertain about returning. A more consistent execution in both flavor and service would be necessary to justify another visit at this price point.

My husband took me here for my Birthday the atmosphere was nice. We had a good waitress, I was impressed with the lobster mac n cheese and the strawberry margaritas! The steak could use some seasoning but other than that everything was really good!

Dined here at the very beginning of dinner service. We were seated quickly. Our waitress, Cora, gave good suggestions for menu items to try. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari. It was not served as described on the menu. The sauce it was supposed to be tossed in was served on the side. The calamari was also cold. Lucky the entrees and drinks were better. Photos show what we ordered and we each liked our orders. Sides were a la cart and were piping hot. I definitely recommend the brussel sprouts. The lobster mac and cheese was fair but not the best I've had. Overall, everything was fair. I may return when in the area but wouldn't make a special trip to visit. Good food. Good setting foe a group.

The steaks are phenomenal and the calamari makes a really good appetizer. The steaks were cooked really well, as it was still juicy and sweet. The lobster bisque is a bit heavy, but not too bad. It’s a nice splurge. Our waitress was really kind and accommodating. Would definitely come again.

I went for lunch and ordered soup and salad and the salad was fine. The crab bisque soup was cold so I asked for them to heat it up and even after it was heated up it was so thick it was ridiculous. Just add a little water, Nobody wants a solid soup and not a lot of flavor. Was pretty disappointed as I expected more from the chop house. You can see from the picture of the soup even when I took a spoonful out it didn’t even move. Disappointing and won’t go back.

I have been twice in the past 30 days. Both times were for lunch and were with office personnel. I had shrimp tacos and the tuna poke bowl. Both entree's were very good, although I did not know the tuna would be raw. OK, so let's talk about what constitutes "fairness of timeliness". In a restaurant like this, where food is usually customized to order, expect a little bit of a wait. I should not have to wait on a refill at any given time, but I did. The waiter should coordinate the salad, or soup so that when the table is cleared of those dishes, the entree is served promptly. It's called finesse, presentation, awareness, all of those things have to happen, or the experience just isn't that good. And please note, a good wait staff can consistently pull this off at multiple tables. While our waiter was good, he didn't have the awareness of drinks going down to ice and had to rush to refill them.The soup bowl was empty and was not cleared until the entree arrived, 10 minutes later. I did order dessert, and asked the waiter to select for me. It was spectacular. Ice cream bar, beside the cake was enjoyed in the restaurant and the cake was taken in a carry out container and enjoyed later.The food was very good, the atmosphere was good, but the service, and the finesse was just not there for a 5 star review. OK, so would I go back? You bet! Google doesn't do 1/2 stars so technically, they get a 3.5.

So looking forward to a nice little filet for my birthday lunch. Disappointed. I asked for medium rare and although it wasn't bloody, it was definitely rare. Not the quality of beef I was expecting... kinda chewy and not really seasoned at all. Service was great and I really like the music and atmosphere.

I had a very disappointing lunch experience today, 10/30/25. Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich (open face). The bottom of the bread was burnt jet BLACK. I complained gently to the server, showed her and said it tasted bad. I’d eaten 2/3 of the meat but left the burnt bread. She was shocked, understanding & apologetic. Yet, I was charged full price for the meal. I paid it including a 20% tip but let her know that I was surprised to be charged full price. She said she’d spoken to the manager about the issue to no avail. (Bad call, my man. Your kitchen served burnt food so you should have made it right.) Since I had no one ‘higher up in rank’ to speak to I decided to write this review. I’ve been a fan of this Chop House for decades but my experience today left a black mark on their reputation.

On several separate occasions, we've called in an order to pick up. Each time we were sorely disappointed by the portion size of both entree and side items. Most recently, a $48 sea bass entre weighed in at maaaaaybe 4-5 oz and side items were no larger than an oversized condiment container. No complaints on excellent taste and preparation, but we've felt taken advantage of for the last time when placing a pick-up order and sadly won't be doing so again.

1/2 of my $60 steak was gristle. It was so much the waitress asked if I, “need a box?”. Wife’s Steak was over cooked and had to wait for new steak to be made. My children’s pasta was heated up, not fresh as it was dry and chewy. Had to keep asking waitress for refill on drinks. The AC supply vents are covered with fungal growth. Had we looked up above, prior to eating, we would have walked out.

Was very hungry and super excited to dig into their 40-day aged ribeye. However, they delivered a strip steak and tried to claim it was a ribeye. It was especially upsetting as someone else in our party ordered the same ribeye, and they were clearly very different. Also, the building interior is nice, but it was quite loud with a ton of background noise. In my opinion, any restaurant that won't own up to their mistakes is not a very good restaurant. Bottom line, I would not recommend this place to a friend.

The service and atmosphere was excellent. I wouldn't order the open face prime rib. Sandwich. Mine was torched. Sent it back and got back inedible form with push back from Kitchen The BRUCHETTA not very good no Parmesan cheese..

I have always loved the salads here. However, the quality has gone down the last two times I've eaten here. I don't even get meat in my salads and they can't do any better than this. I asked for no bacon and it looks like I told them I only wanted lettuce and crispy onions. I didn't get any tomatoes, I got 3 diced cucumber squares and not even half of a chopped, boiled egg! I paid $13 for this! I definitely will not be returning here. Chop House you need to do better!!!

I was at Chop House last night for a funeral dinner. The dinner was at 5 pm but we didn't get our food until 7pm! Our waitress was really nice but the management of the restaurant was poor. Never have I waited two hours for food at a restaurant. Don't waste your time or money for this restaurant.

The chef cannot cook salmon to “medium” to save his life. I sent my plate back with the salmon & mashed potatoes, and the replacement salmon was as brought back to me on a side dish plate. Really?? I had to ask for my mashed potatoes AND then a larger plate to spread it all out on. No concession was made on the check. Not to mention, the replacement salmon still wasn’t cooked medium—it was cooked medium+ to medium well. Better than the first time, so I just ate it because I didn’t want to wait another 10-15 minutes for my replacement salmon again. On the way out, I saw the sanitation score was only 96.0 which was surprising. Not the experience I expected for an $80 dinner for just myself (including two drinks).
