Carlos at Denny’s gave me the best service I’ve ever had! He was so friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our food came out fast, he kept checking in on us with such a positive attitude, and he really made the whole experience enjoyable. You can tell he truly cares about his customers. If you go to Denny’s, ask for Carlos — he’s amazing!

Anna s greeting & attending to all guests with a smile (even to The Grinch ones ) Mgr Corelia resolved a issue that 95% of managers would of made a big deal of or made the customer feel less than. Went late at Night, even it was packed get a table quick. Had Hector H as the Server. That’s how a Server should be, great person TOP service. The hole shift was great. This is the place to go, if you like Dennys! I love it, always again at this location!

My group of four stopped by the Denny’s on Sunset Boulevard after a fantastic show at the Greek Theatre. Craving a hearty late-night meal, we were warmly welcomed by the staff despite the bustling atmosphere. Our waitress was swift, attentive, and made sure our drinks were refilled without us having to ask. I ordered the sirloin steak, cooked medium-rare, and it was a standout—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and exactly what I needed to cap off the night. My friends raved about their dishes too, and the classic diner vibe added to the fun, relaxed mood. The service was impressively quick for a busy night, and we left satisfied and already planning our next visit. This Denny’s delivered a great experience all around!

It's been a while since I've last visited...it feels...different..from back in the days...the place isnt as packed like how it used to be. The parking lot lights were not on, we thought they were closed. But saw the OPEN sign lit up. They seemed to be short staffed..but they handled it pretty well. The food has always been on point every time. The beef tom yum ramen is my shiznit! Ao good!!

This is my second time here at Noodle World. It took us 50 minutes to get here from Long Beach. LA traffic is crazy. I ordered the Noodle World Tom Yum, my Wife ordered Thai Boat Noodles and my Dad ordered Seafood wonton noodles. The portion is large. My end up with the Noodle World Tom yum and I end up with Thai Boat Noodles. We enjoyed the noodle and the flavoring. They have all kinds of noodles. If you in the Alhambra area, come for dinner.

Now this is the bomb spot over here for noodles and rice. Their signature house noodles called the noodle world Tom yum or the #24 is ridiculous!!! All the flavors you can ask for. Hot and sour and spicy. It absolutely rocks!!!! Awesome rice dishes here as well. Especially the Thai fried rice!!! Mix it with their green chili sauce. Not the hot peppers but the minced brown sauce that is stationed in every table. Awesome place!!

Delicious and super affordable food. My friends and I went there for lunch after a hike and boy did it hit the spot. We ordered the Sriracha Spaghetti, Curry Chicken, and Thai Boat Noodle. All super delicious and the portions were great too. I would recommend this spot.

I ate it at Denny's last night, but there I ate breakfast. Here I decided to get some dinner, and I saw the salmon on the menu. So I got the salmon with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. I sprinkle some lemon on the salmon, and there was literally the best salmon I've ever eaten! Talk about surprise!

The service was good and the food was also nice. Nothing fancy, but we enjoyed it. There was however a very strong smell of urine upon entering. Possibly because of the bathrooms located at the front door. We asked to be seated at the back of the restaurant which was a lot nicer smelling.

Solid, cheap Asian food. Tons of rice dishes, noodle plates, and soups. This is one of their first locations I believe. They have multiple locations throughout the county. $10-15/per plate. Parking lot in the rear, and some street side parking up front. Some licensed Big Boy statues inside which seem to fit somehow. Go to dishes are the pad Thai, beef steak, and garlic chicken (well done). Be aware that each location has slightly different menus, and in some cases, like the garlic chicken, is cooked a bit differently. Is this gourmet Asian food? No, but it isn’t meant to be. It’s quick, cheap, and tasty. Friendly staff!

My husband and I love eating at Noodle World, but the restaurant isn’t as clean as it should be, and their bathrooms need attention as well. They have a constant flow of people, and I think it’s important to maintain a good upkeep. However the food is great, and the soups, Thai tea, and vegetable egg rolls are excellent. The portions are generous as well. For the soup we order the Thai Boat Noodles, and you can add, or remove whatever you like. For mine I remove the tripe, and tendon replacing it with more meatballs, and one of the meats. Good to know in case you don’t like everything that’s in it. My husband usually orders his with extra noodles.

I always have fond memory of this place. I came here with my friends while we were in college and I also took my parents here and they loved this place. We usually get the pineapple shrimp fried rice and the spicy chicken. They are always delicious. The boba Thai tea is lacking compared to other place as. I would just order the spicy chicken and some rice to eat and I would be happy. Otherwise, I can share the spicy chicken and pineapple fried rice with my family and we would be happy. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Highly recommend this place!

A rated restaurant. Plenty of parking on the back or on the street in front of it. Just be careful there's potholes🕳🙍‍♀️ my date almost fell stepping on that. they really need to fix those. Employees friendly but I wish they smile more. One employee drop off our drinks and just left 🥤💁‍♂️🏃‍♂️. not asking if we need anything else. Order 108 beefsteak. It was good but it really didn't have too much flavor. You get more rice than beef & onions. She ordered the soup I forgot which one but it was really good and it came in a big portions. The🚹 restrooms is shared by employees and customers but I suggest you go to the restroom before coming here😶. Also they bring you a receipt to take it to the cashier's to pay and leave a tip. I left a tip at the table. But I guess you could leave a tip at a cashier's. They accept cash and credit cards.

Tried their outdoor dining. It was a little bit chilli that night. The food arrive cold so it was no need to rush and eat it before it would get cold. Service here was just horribly pathetic. The lady cleaning the tables provided more help than the waitresses. Trying to get a to go box and the check. Was just like trying to find help in one of those hardware stores. No one ever came. The cleaning lady tried get someone, my wife went up front and tried. Still no one, so I went up front to pay. Believe me and that took so doing to get the check. Forget about the cold food. The cleaning lady did wipe the tables and she also wipe the seats. As most places we saw do not hit the chairs. They did allow a couple of patrons to bring their dog inside.

I am reporting an incident that happened Sunday, November 2, 2025, around 4am. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The employees at this Denny’s, especially Anna and James, acted with a level of disrespect and unprofessionalism that left me astounded. Anna, my server, was offended by my requests for small adjustments to my order due to allergies and sanitary preferences, such as lemon on the side for my hot water, light butter, and hot eggs. She claimed she had to "talk to her manger first" before providing me with fresh eggs, which I've never experienced. Anna put on a fake “customer service voice” for show, then repeatedly turned around and openly talked trash about me to her coworker James loud enough for me (and others) to hear. It was incredibly childish and unprofessional. She even had the nerve to apologize to me at one point, claiming, "we didn't want you to feel demeaned," only to IMMEDIATELY report back to James and continue talking shit about me. The cowardice and emotional manipulation displayed was profound. Things got worse when I tried to calmly address the way I was being treated. I asked James if he was the manager. He approached me already hostile, as if he had been gossiping with Anna before even speaking to me, and had already formed an opinion about me before I even voiced my concern. He was not the manager, dismissed everything I tried to say, constantly interrupted me, talked down to me, accused me of “just wanting to complain,” and actually threatened to call the police simply because I wanted to explain why their behavior was unacceptable. Two employees ganging up on a customer, mocking me, belittling me, and treating me like an inconvenience, is beyond unacceptable. Their behavior was cruel, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. I was left sitting there feeling humiliated while they continued making comments about me within earshot. No customer should be subjected to this kind of treatment. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic decency from both Anna and James was astonishing. I left feeling shaken and honestly disgusted by how I was treated. I had intended on waiting to speak with the manager, who wouldn't be in for another couple of hours, but ended up leaving because of how hostile, upsetting, and disrespectful the treatment was. I would never return to this location and would strongly warn others to avoid it.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. Years! I have always had a pleasant experience with this restaurant...until TODAY. We arrived for dinner, got a table without waiting, and the restaurant was not crowded. We ordered and got our food in less than ten minutes. No problem so far! Until the waitress, a heavy set Asian middle aged woman, placed the bill on our table as soon as we started to eat. Unusual to say the least. This had never happened before! She proceeded to walk by our table three times making it obvious that she wanted us to pay for our food. We had just started to eat. She made it unpleasant and made it not so subtle that she wanted us to pay. Keep in mind that she did NOT do this with any of the other patrons there. Just us!!! It made me and my friends feel like we were some sort of criminal or someone who wouldn't pay for their food. Her actions and behavior made it so uncomfortable that we asked to box up our food that instant and I walked the bill to the register and paid for it there. Totally ignoring the waitress who usually collects the money. We were so upset, we talked to the manager who gave a lame excuse, "The waitress was doing a shift change and we are so sorry." The manager apologized profusely but that was no excuse! That will be the LAST time we will be going there. We had been going there for years, knew some of the employees and in all that time, we were never rushed to pay for our food right away! Poor service and you lost a loyal customer!

The combo pho was bland. No flavor at all! The pork chop and rice was ok. The Hong Kong pan fried has the most flavorful dish. I would recommend going to the other Noodle World in San Marino on Huntington Dr instead of here. This place brings you all the condiments in little paper cups. Wilted herbs and not freshly rinsed either.. So yeah definitely not recommended. When we were about to leave, I wanted to wash my hands and Don’t even get me started on the bathroom! I walked into the women’s restroom and OMG felt like can a STD just from walking inside, so so so disgusting! I was so disgusted I laughed and walked straight out without washing my hands! If I would have seen this restroom before ordering, I WOULD have NEVER ate here. I would take a picture, but it is a restroom so that for me is off limits. Anyways, go see for yourself and see if you wanna eat here.
