We came here on a Wednesday for Mr Roger’s night and let me start by saying I have been all over the world (14 countries just last year) and their dj @sayntchris is the BEST dj I have ever heard, his mixing skills and library of music are unmatched!!! The food was delicious, it is finger food but just as good we got sushi, the sliders, cauliflower, fries, and the tuna everything was great and came out quick!!! The atmosphere was giving excellence it’s decorated beautifully and feels sexy and the service was also great they constantly checked on us. 10/10 we will definitely be back, thank you!
Went with my girlfriends and had a great time! The food is so good, the drinks and even better, and the music makes it such a vibe!
Albi — Arabic for “My Heart” — was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary tonight. The restaurant offers offers a modern perspective on Mediterranean food in a very stylish environment. The menu is inspired by countries such as Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco with some influence from Greece. The ambience was beautiful and romantic. The food was beyond delicious. Every plate was beautifully plated like a work of art. The cocktails with Mediterranean influences such as Baklava Old Fashioned, Waters of Petra, and Turkish espresso martini were so good. Desserts are an absolute delight at Albi as well! This restaurant just opened a few weeks ago, and they are still in their soft opening mode. They had a DJ playing light music tonight that was quintessential the setting. Perfect ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding service… we are definitely going back again!
Came out here on a Thursday. There was entertainment for a special event but we were told that on Fridays and Saturdays a show performance happens. There was a super friendly belly dancer and and an awesome violin player with the dj. Parking was pretty full by the time we got there but there is plenty of space on the side streets. From the time you step foot in and by the time you leave, service is top notch. Some of the cocktails are too small in volume in my opinion. Food is fantastic, definitely try the hummus and the clams. Great place to hang out and enjoy a long and relaxing dinner.
My experience at Albi will be one I will remember. Firstly the service was excellent, the waiters were very attentive and respectful. The taste of this food I will never forget. The appetizers had amazing flavors , my favorite was the lamb hummus. The mixed grill was even better with all the meats one could want. The ambiance of Albi is amazing, the DJ plays good music , the belly dancers have a great show and one feels good in this establishment. Thank you Albi.
Love the place. The food was excellent, fusion was done with care, and flavors were amazing. Service was excellent, I recommend the beets dip, fatoush salad, and beef kafta. The presentation is excellent. Ambiance is nice, very nice place to have dinner, drinks and listen to music. Lots of beautiful people around. Full service bar with cocktails. The place is well maintained, restrooms are clean. Located in Riveroaks, valet is available for guests. Music is nice, lounge and high energy. Highly recommend, nice place for a date, celebrating special occasions and gatherings.
This was one of the rare new restaurants that I’ve tried that did not disappoint. Our server, Walt, was informally, helpful and personable. The food … all of it was creative, attractive and flavorful. We had the hummus, beets, calamari, feta dumplings, yellow edge grouper and grilled (large) octopus tentacle. None of the items tasted like anything we had before as Albi’s spices and flavor profile compilations are so unique. The ambiance is beautiful and reminded me of Vegas. The dj produced a pleasant vibe that was at a level that did not disturb our conversation. Finally, our waiter Walt was perfect in every aspect…informative, helpful, attentive and personable.
Grown & sexy vibes❤️ Dress to impress!! Great drinks and the DJ was awesome! Highly recommend!! My new favorite spot!!

Overall an amazing first time experience and the service was VIP! Thank you Aladdin and Kamel for the hospitality and treating my date and I so well. Food was delicious. Loved the Grilled Octopus, Lamb Rack, and Wagyu Tartar. The Baklava Old Fashioned was a hit!
Beautiful space overlooking West Gray where creative dishes flourish with the chef's expertise and exceptional service with great attention to detail. Superb flavors across the board. Cocktails are divine!
It was our first time here, we found them on TikTok, but the waiter was great! It was our anniversary and they offered us baklava, it was unique and tasted amazing. They have a lot of drink options, and the ambiance was beautiful. Great music, and both of the managers came by to make sure everything was going well. I recommend the hummus, and the habibti drink. ❤️
We had a fantastic time. The decor was "Fancy", the atmosphere was great, drinks were amazing, everyone was dressed. Me and my wife had a great time on our anniversary night after dinner and it was a Wednesday night! We will be back.
What a cute beautiful place. Very girlie for girls night out or even a date night. It was a Thursday night during their soft opening, so there was no belly dancing. They did have a violinist playing and it wasn't too loud. Loved it. The service was good, we had an amazing waiter that tended to our party of 9 all night. I wish he had some help though for such a large party. The food is great, love the hummus and blue fin tar tar. Octopus was good as well, little bland. My favorite cocktail has to be the espresso martini, so delicious. Great food, great ambiance and great company. Would love to come back again
This restaurant's vibes and decor is lovely with a lot of backdrops everywhere for you to dress up and take pictures with. The service was nice. The food was expensive for what it was. It's not bad but I think for the price it should have been better. There is belly dancing at 8:30 pm when we were there on a Saturday. The belly dancer is really sweet. However I think the stage needs more lighting since it was still pretty dark even though they tried to have some lights on the stage. I think it's a nice place to hang out and Houston doesn't have too many places with food and entertainment. I think if there wasn't entertainment, I wouldn't go here for just the food due to price/quality.
It was our first time and I had to say the food was great, we ordered almost everything on the menu except the lamb and they all lived up to our expectations including the octopus and the "most tender part of beef" skewers-according to our waiters. Our waiters was very attentive so I give him a plus on that. On another hand, reservation was a joke here. RSVP at 9, came at 8:45 and by 9:45 we still standing around waiting (if I wasn't complaining, we probably still standing by then). The belly dancer show happened at 9;30 and that is probably why people don't want to leave , hence we keep waiting. We went to fine dining all around the town and hardly any place ever let us waited for that long nor not respected of our time like this one. The manager did come out to resolve and sent us appetizers to make it up for it....but then again, it's kinda ruined the first time experiences. On another note, belly dancer show lasted like 15 min and that was it! You would have thought they would come back again but no, that was it. Nothing too special about it to rave here.
We had the shrimp, lamb hummus, and the dover soul fish (New not on the menu yet) Drinks were good and the performance was nice. Hookah area outside was a good touch

I truly wish I could leave a five-star review for Fancy’s. I was visiting from out of town and heard about Fancy’s as an African American-owned establishment with great energy, good food, and strong drinks. Walking in, I was immediately impressed. The decor is gorgeous. Think comfortable sofas, chandeliers, velvet textures, and bold touches of animal print. Chic without feeling bougie. Classy without being stiff. It’s an eye-catching space that invites you to stay awhile. I chose to come on a Wednesday during happy hour, right before R&B night, so I could vibe and catch up with a friend. The mixologists were honestly fantastic. Sergio, Becca, Zyed, and Nyisha deserve real praise. Attentive, funny, welcoming, and clearly good at what they do. Service at the bar was a highlight of the night. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see solid options. I ordered the tempura cauliflower, which was perfectly breaded and fried, paired with a delicious eel sauce. 💡Fun fact, it’s actually sugar and hoisin-based and has nothing to do with eel. I highly recommend it. My friend ordered the Fancy Bites, chicken nugget-style pieces, and said they were equally delicious. So why the three stars? I make a conscious effort to seek out and support African American owned businesses. Recycling our dollars matters to me. During my entire visit, I did not see a single African American employee. Not behind the bar, not serving, not in security, not in the kitchen, not bar backing. No one. When I gently mentioned this to one of the mixologists, the immediate response was, “But this is an African American establishment.” That response gave me pause. It felt rehearsed, and it didn’t address the reality I was experiencing. When I patronize an African American establishment, I expect to see African Americans represented, especially in customer-facing roles. Fancy’s has so much going for it. The food, the drinks, the decor, and the atmosphere are all there. I hope ownership takes a closer look at representation, because that piece matters as much as the rest.
Great ambiance & interior vibe if you want to impress some people, however the food is just not worth the money. Maybe for happy hour- but even then there are so many other better restaurants that offer the same kind of food and it is actually good! The food didn’t impress, the steak was Smokey (gross) & the service was lacking. Our server was rude about us not liking the smokiness flavor of the steak- and our mocktails were flat despite asking for lots of bubbles. Wouldn’t go back.

The Wednesday atmosphere was great and draws a crowd. However, the service is SLOW even before it picks up and the food is MID. The prices and auto-great don’t match the service. I booked 2 tables and I spent over $500, not counting my other guests who went to the bar and walked around. Don’t reserve a table! The phone number on the site does not work and after one message about them not applying the deposit to my bill, they stopped responding. No worries, the fraud case has been reported and I’m posting receipts. Thanks for the hassle.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience warrants it. Fancy’s cancelled my private room reservation for a birthday celebration of 15+ people just four days before the event—a reservation that had been booked well in advance—because they decided to honor a full restaurant buyout the same weekend. Translation: existing reservations were bumped to make room for someone else’s last-minute request. What makes this worse is how it was handled. After communicating directly with their event coordinator throughout the planning process, I wasn’t even afforded the courtesy of a personal heads-up. Instead, I received a generic OpenTable cancellation notification. When I reached out to the restaurant manager to confirm whether this also applied to my large-party, private-room reservation, I received a dismissive “yes it does” response—the following afternoon. This has left me scrambling with less than a week’s notice to find a venue that could accommodate a large group on a Saturday, which anyone who plans events knows is nearly impossible. Birthdays aren’t casual, last-minute dinners—you coordinate schedules, guests, and expectations. That planning was completely disregarded. While buyouts may be good for business, cancelling confirmed private reservations at the last minute shows a lack of respect for customers and poor operational judgment. If your reservation can be dropped days before your event because someone “more important” comes along, then it was never reliable to begin with. Disappointing experience and not a place I’d trust for celebrations or group events. Or period. Be more dependable and respectful to those who keep your business afloat EVERY day.
I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident where I left my LV shades at the valet service at your restaurant. Despite no other customers waiting for their vehicles, my efforts to retrieve my belongings have been unsuccessful. I have reached out to the manager to request a review of the camera footage, but my calls and messages have gone unresponded. On Valentine's Day, my friends and I spent over $100 each on a pre-planned menu, only to be told that we couldn't substitute appetizers due to a shellfish allergy. Given the restaurant's limited hours of operation, I am disappointed that I am being left with no resolution. I had called the restaurant last week and was advised to call back on Saturday, but my follow-up call was met with silence. I urge you to assist me in resolving this matter by reviewing the camera footage. I almost forgot to mention how my friend vehicle smelt like smoke after valet returned it to her and no she doesn’t smoke and they stole another friend umbrella, if you can recall it did rain on Feb 14.
This lounge charges $100 just to reserve a table, and shockingly, that money does not go toward your bill. It’s simply a fee for the privilege of sitting down. Had this been clearly disclosed anywhere during the reservation process, we would have made an informed decision. Instead, this crucial detail appears to be conveniently omitted. When we asked about it, the situation turned into a bizarre parade of managers. First, the waiter brought out one manager who immediately dismissed our concern without even attempting to explain anything. Then another manager appeared and confidently said he would “handle it.” His solution? Walking away and disappearing. Moments later, a third manager arrived, already hostile and defensive, and informed us that the $100 is simply a “table fee.” When we calmly explained that nowhere during the reservation process was this stated, she couldn’t point to a single place where this policy was disclosed. No sign, no reservation notice, no written policy—nothing. Just attitude. So to summarize: $100 reservation fee that does not apply to your bill Zero transparency about this policy when booking A revolving door of managers who either dismiss, disappear, or become hostile when questioned Charging a premium for a lounge experience is one thing. Charging hidden fees and then treating customers like they’re the problem for asking about them is another. There are plenty of places that know how to treat guests with respect and operate with transparency. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them
Worst experience I have EVER had at a bar in Houston. My people spent money buying tables and bottles in this establishment the door man wouldn’t even let me in stating I was out of dress code in tennis shoes and there were over 30 guys and females in the bar with gym shoes. The guy was argumentative and let everyone else in except me until my party had to let him know multiple times I was good! I will NEVER patronize this establishment again and you shouldn’t either. They have to have a problem with the LGBT community and that is perfectly fine!
Came here with my sister, we order 3 apps and drinks. Our bill was almost $400. We asked the waitress for recommendations on drinks she recommends a drink that was with regulus and grand marnier. Once we got our bill we see that every drink was charged regular price for the regular and gran marnier, basically $36 a drink. Our bill between 2 ppl was $352. On top of that, we order a round a drinks and after placing the drinks she tells us we have to get up in 10 min for the next reservation. Why tell us after we order more stuff? Our drinks ain’t come in time and they made us move before the drinks came so when had to drink our drinks standing up. They are money hungry and I would not come back. They rather inconvenience and upset customers then retain them.

I am going to preface this by saying, I hope my experience is an isolated event. My friend made a reservation for her birthday, paid a deposit to reserve a table, and arrived on time and seated two hours past her reservation which was 15 minutes before they close. Yikes! The staff seemed to be overwhelmed--from the staff at the door up to management. There is opportunity there. The positives: on Wednesday nights the dj is great. The actual venue is nice and there is lots of space. They have food available to order as well. Would I come back? Questionable. I've always heard good reviews about visiting on Wednesday nights but my experience while possibly isolated, it has fallen off the cliff and into the gorge for me.
I went for a special event and ordered jerk lamb chops, truffle Parmesian fried, and crispy deviled eggs. Fries were like warm and served with bland deviled eggs first. By the time the Lamb chops arrived I had completed the side. The space is appealing but the kitchen is an absolute NO!
