I stopped by today and experienced fantastic and friendly service with a smile. I also received a delicious, well-topped salad. I live nearby and visit infrequently, but I've never had an issue with my salad not being fresh or topped improperly in the times I've visited within the last 3 years.

Great place but it would really help if they had signs up showing prices and explanations of what is/isn't included in a standard bowl (like Chipotle does) . I felt unsure of what I was supposed to do upon walking in. Not the employees' fault though.

I love Salata- the taste and quality is always consistent at every location and the toppings are generous. It’s always better to make your salad in person because the online ordering doesn’t have all the same options.

Fantastic, tasty, fast and customized. You move down a line and pick the ingredients you want in your salad. The service was quick, the choices were plenty and well-varied. The price was about $13 when finished. They had digital receipt options which was nice.

Searched randomly in google and went to this place. It is a nice Salad place, with plenty of options to select from at a reasonable price. Loved the ambience, food and everything. Would definitely recommend going and trying out this place.

The veggies were fresh and the service was A-1. I have two reasons why I can’t give them five stars: 1.) I was given a cookie that was past its best by time/date, but they did give me a fresh cookie (and that’s why it’s not a 3/5); and 2.) they don’t have a policy against animals sitting on the furniture in the lobby. A couple walked in two wet STANKY dogs from the rain, filling the lobby with the smell of unclean/wet dogs, and had one of them hop up on the seat. I love doggies, but… 🤢 EDIT: I revisited this location a few times recently. The service isn’t consistently good. Recently, I was told that I couldn’t have my order for a dine-in experience, but the store wasn’t due to close for another 45 minutes. I also got home to no croissant in my bag and, honestly, I love those little wheat croissants. As is such, I’m going to from 4/5 to 3/5.

Update: They kindly responded to my comment on the salty salmon and have invited me to revisit so that they can correct. Thank you, Salata, for your response. I shall try a different protein on my visit. Salmon was surprisingly salty and our recommendation would be to consider a different protein, hopefully it will not be as salty as the salmon we tried on Feb 25, 2025.

The food is great quality but the employees are turning away customers and have a bad attitude. I've been coming here for years but the past 6 months have been very frustrating dealing with employees and their bad attitudes. There is an older Hispanic lady who appears to be the supervisor on the evening shift and she has the worst attitude!!! This heights location is so close to home but I've had way better service at other locations. Today, she was talking with employees in Spanish and a customer verbally expressed he was upset because they were taking forever to help us. On top of the wait, the lady was rude and seemed to be disturbed when my mother was asking for additional scoops of veggies. Considering my salads tend to be 20 dollars because of all the extra add ons we have, I would not have a problem being charged for extra veggies! This isn't the first time she has been rude but she clearly has no urgency for keeping clientele or making business profitable. She needs to be monitored and addressed regarding her customer service skills.

I normally love this Salata but I honestly hate That they lock their doors 10 minutes before closing. If you guys close at 9pm why are doors locked at 8:53??

This photo was before I started eating. Seafood mix was half a scoop with barely any meat on it. When I asked about it they said this was “ normal “.. I go to Salata frequently and this was definitely the most skimpy location. Worker was also confused as to how the kids meal worked. She asked if we wanted protein OR dressing. I said both since they’re both included… she responded with “ there’s only one more spot for either dressing or protein” .. she then proceeded to put the ranch dressing in a cup. The most complicated location. I’ve been here 2-3x and not very fond of this location.

This is my first time at this location, but I eat at salata all the time. This is the first time I encountered such stingy service. I usually tell them how many scoops of each item when going down the line to be efficient. They told me I cant get more than 3 stingy scoops of each. I usually don't put too many different ingredients in my salad either.

My family and I are regular customers of Salata. I am in heights blvd location and bought a regular salad , it was surprisingly stingy and miserly quantity salad and the saleswoman said “this is what it is”. Imagine if I am spending 10.95 dollars per salad and I can’t even get a proper salad. The saleswoman named Eila was very rude and rushy even though it’s the middle of the day and there were no other customers present. Do not recommend coming here.

I am a huge fan of salata and pick up/get a salad delivered at least 1-2x per week. This is as my first time going to this location. The person making my salad was stingy about the BASE. That’s where you’d expect the most generosity. I had to ask for a little bit more feta & the lady was rude about it. Of course I got skimpy portions of all the toppings as well. The only generous sized scoop was of the chicken. When I’m paying $15 for a salad with chicken, I expect AT MINIMUM reasonable portions. I love salata & this is the closest location to my house. However I will not be returning to this location & will be driving further to go to the location on W Gray (river oaks), where they give reasonable portions & their employees are nice & helpful. Also the ladies behind the counter are very rude and told me it would be extra for toppings.
