Super cozy restaurant. Family style. I wanted some soup to soothe my sore throat and found this place nearby that was open early (9am). I got a small bowl of combination rice noodle soup (phở đặc biệt). Broth was flavorful, rich, and clear. Meat was tender. They gave plenty of herbs and bean sprouts on the side. I drank all the soup and left nothing behind haha. Cám ơn Chú Hiệp!
The food is amazing. The people are very welcoming. VERY impressed. Will be back again. Might need to use Google translator, but they try very hard to help you understand their menu.
Food was good. Nice flavor in the pho and the soft pork with rice noodles were both on point. The service was, family funny. You can tell the kids working here are related and it was humorous to see them cutting up with each other while we ate. It’s definitely a family style restaurant. The food came out really fast and was fresh. The restaurant is bright and clean with plenty of seating.
My cousin recently introduced us to this place and we are hooked. She ordered their Deep Fried Chicken Wings with Butter. What a huge portion. It was fantastic, crispy, savory and butter. It was accompanied with a side of lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. After eating this meal, I had to go in person and try out other items. Today I had the Salt Toasted Squid - Muc Rang Muoi. It was crispy, buttery, lightly salted and tossed in peppers. The meal was fantastic. I also got to try my friends Com Tam Suon Dac Biet. The pork chop was nicely marinated and succulent. It was accompanied by a light and savory broth. Overall the food was exceptional and the best Vietnamese in that area. I would definitely frequent this place. The owner is also super nice. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean.
SO DELICIOUS!!!! 🤩🤩 10 years ago, I was not a fan of pho. It lacked the full body flavor of ramen, and the noodle texture of pho never appealed to me either. But my roommate loves it 😅 so we experimented with this place and it was a HIT! I'm a bit of a hippie & naturalist, but I still cant really adjust to the herby taste of most traditional pho. I much rather enjoy RICH flavors, and the Beef noodle pho we ordered was exactly that! It was exquisite 🤤🤤 Lol still wasn't a fan of the noodles but that's a personal preference. Besides, we devoured everything! The soup based had alot of flavor, seasoning was perfect - nothing had to be adjusted; the dish wasn't too salty, the broth wasnt thick - it was easy to drink, and it didnt have an oily/fatty texture. The restaurant is a large enough establishment on Scarsdale with adequate parking, making it suitable for large family gatherings. This quaint mom n' pop also has such a familial vibe because they're so one-on-one, engaging in day-to-day conversations with their customers like old friends would 🌻 Overall, a great place to dine 💯
The food here is Amazing. My colleges and I enjoyed Everything we had. The fried Tofu is my favorite dish. Thank you Mary for taking care of us!!!🥰🥰🥰 Nicolette
Very nice authentic viet place. They had such a wide variety of options on the menu! Really glad to have another nice pho place nearby. The waitress spoke in both English and viet. The food was good, I enjoyed my special pho noodles and the broth. The small pho was actually really big. The viet coffee with condense milk was strong as expected and nice. My sister and mother bough the Hu Tieu dry and soft version P.S- don’t worry about meat being pink. If you had pho before you know they’re usually thin and will get cooked by the broth
Really enjoyed dining here. Greeted by the owner upon entry and he is very friendly and attentive to his customers. The location is roomy and clean and nice smells. Pho is magnificent and they give you enough of everything to make your meal taste like you want it to . Got a small today and still felt like a large. Will eat lunch here anytime I am over here😊
Best Viet restaurant in this area. We come here every week at least 1-2 times for their special dishes. Tasty and great service !
I ate here for lunch with a friend and I must say that this place surprised me with the food that they had. Everything was delicious, the drinks were always refilled without asking, and we were always checked up on. Great service with great food!
Stopped here en route to Galveston. I dined in, ordering the wonton soup and the combination bahn mi- both were delicious and a little over $5/each. The bread on the bahn mi was perfect- crunchy exterior and soft interior. The vegetables on the bahn mi tasted really fresh. Highly recommend!

Bún măng vịt @Mi45 South is a delightful Vietnamese dish that offers a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The tender duck meat is cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with a rich, savory broth that is both comforting and satisfying. The addition of bamboo shoots adds a unique and slightly crunchy texture, complementing the soft, delicate noodles beautifully. Fresh herbs and vegetables enhance the dish, providing a refreshing contrast to the hearty broth. Overall, Bún măng vịt is a must-try for anyone looking to experience the authentic and diverse tastes of Vietnamese cuisine.

The family that owns this place are extremely hospitable. Especially with children! Super sweet family! The pho broth is perfectly aromatic and flavorful with plenty of noodles and meat. You can’t go wrong with a classic pho noodle soup here! Just tried their pork bbq spring rolls and it was the best! It had the charred flavor that’s promised. Love love love this establishment as a whole! I even ordered 15 minutes before and they were gladly willing to trust my arrival before close and patiently awaiting. Don’t pass up on giving this place a try! Thank you for the consistent amazing service
After many years! I have even better review for this restaurant. They use babyback rib not pork chop if you order cơm sườn, it’s so moist and savory.
Food are delicious, great services, and the owner are nice. I went there for the congee or the rice porridge, it is a special dish and they don't have it in a regular menu. They are open early, great place for Vietnamese breakfast.

Best Vietnamese I have had ever - HANDS DOWN. The thought of their eye round steak, flank and brisket pho makes me salivate. Their fresh sugar cane juice is made when you order it, their soda chanh (soda lemonade) is so tasty and refreshing. The fried rice, vermicelli plates, rice plates, spring rolls, egg rolls, EVERYTHING here is delicious. It’s run by an older Vietnamese couple and they are sweet and you can tell these are family recipes, their food is superb to the Vietnamese I have had anywhere in Houston.
4 stars because when you first walk in it reeked like fish sauce. Overall service and food were good. I got their main dish (H2) combination rice noodle. It has chicken, pork, fish balls, and shrimp. Im not a fan of shrimp thats battered with a shell still on it. Other than that everything was good.
Most Vietnamese places that I've gone to have your typical pho, bahn mi, vermicelli plate and rice dishes but this spot has a lot more variety. I actually tried their wonton egg noodle soup instead of something I usually go for (i.e. pho). The broth was fantastic! I think it's the same soup as Hu tieu where it was light yet flavorful. For the topping, there were pork slices, pork wonton, and a fried shrimp wrap(?) I'm personally very picky when it comes to pork and it's gaimy taste so I gave my wontons away to my coworkers. Everything else about this dish was great though! I also had a bite of my coworker's combination stir fried noodles and it was just okay. I've had better at different restaurants but it's not a bad choice if that's what you're craving. As for service, I'm not sure if they're used to people knowing what they want to order before they get into the restaurant but our server was hovering over our table from the minute we were seated so that was interesting. Also as a heads up, all the workers here are Vietnamese- but don't be discouraged about trying spot if you can't speak the language! Most customers here are Vietnamese too (that's how you know it's legit) but there were also good number of people from different ethnic backgrounds who all seemed to really enjoy their food! Overall, I'm glad I found this restaurant and I'm looking forward to trying other dishes from them.
Pretty authentic Vietnamese food in a basic casual restaurant. Mostly Vietnamese customers. Good spread to choose from.

My Pho and Noodles were ready in less than 5 minutes—super fast and so delicious! The food deserves a solid 5, and the service was excellent, also a 5. This could easily be a 5-star experience overall if the men’s restroom were cleaner.
A decent Vietnamese restaurant in the southeast area.
The quality of foods are horrible since they moved to the new location. They brought out the coconut jelly (we did not order) at the beginning before the meal, then charged us $1 each. In addition, they advertised the Bánh Xèo, 2 in 1 order for $7, but charged us $14. They use different ways to scam their customers. We will never return to this restaurant again.
Husband and I ate here often at their old location. Since they moved to the new location the quality of food is awful. They cheat on their prices too. They posted Banh Xeo (2 for $7). They charged me $14. And, they bring out this coconut jelly at the beginning before the meal. We thought it was complimentary. WRONG!! It was $1 each whether you ate it or not. Will never return. So so disappointed because they know us and we got treated very unprofessional.
