Friendly and professional staff. A great spot to hang out with friends and catch a game. While the icehouse doesn’t serve its own food, there’s a food truck and a pizza tent on-site, which were decent options. I do wish the icehouse had its own food menu, though—it would make the experience even better.

Definitely a happening place. We came into town to visit some friends and after visiting a local brewery, decided to see what Kirby's had to offer. We arrived, and were lucky enough to land a parking spot in the front area. We entered and found a table just opposite the bar. I discovered it is the longest continuing bar in Texas. After getting seated, our server Bridget (sp ?) greeted us, and took our drink orders. We dis not order anything to eat. The place was definitely busy, and Bridget advised it was because the Texas game was on, and the A&M game was set to follow. I cannot comment too much on the food, and/or bathrooms, but the beers choices were fantastic and the service was great. I only hope that should you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine.

Outstanding Service by Gicell! Gicell was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She greeted us with a warm smile, was incredibly attentive without ever hovering, and made great recommendations that turned out perfect. Our drinks were always full, the food came out just right, and she checked in at all the right times. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. It’s rare to find someone so professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. We’ll definitely be asking for Gicell next time we come back!

I had such a great experience at Kirby’s Bar in Houston! The bartender, Liz, was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made me feel really comfortable and welcome from the moment I sat down. Her service was top-notch and she made some great drink recommendations too. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a good time. Definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve come across I’ll be coming back for sure!

I recently visited Kirby Ice House and had a fantastic experience. The vibe was fun and laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends or winding down after work. I ordered the Kirby Fresca and a Michelob Ultra—both hit the spot. The food and drinks were exactly what you'd want from a great bar: tasty, refreshing, and served quickly. What really stood out was the service. Our waitress Martha G was on top of everything the entire night—friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. It made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for solid bar food, cold drinks, and excellent service in a chill atmosphere. I’ll be back!

My new GameDay go-to place. The energy is on point, just everything you want when watching the games. The first thing I noticed was when I walked in—those door guys weren’t the usual miserable types you find around here. They were super cool and welcoming. I didn’t realize how much that mattered until I experienced it here, and it really kicked things off on a great note. We got lucky with a table because it was standing room only just minutes after we arrived. Plus, we scored Grace D as our server . She should be the standard for training other servers for real. Even with the place packed to the brim, she kept everything running smoothly. She never looked flustered or overwhelmed, even when it was crazy busy. It felt like she was part of our crew at the table, not just taking our order. It made the whole experience way more fun, especially when you’re in game mode. This new location is off to a great start. Keep it up!

From the moment I sat down, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail was flawless, and she went above and beyond to make sure my drink was crafted perfectly and that I had everything I needed. The level of professionalism she displayed was impressive, and it really made my visit stand out compared to other places. First of all, MK and Alexa were absolutely amazing. Typically when I go to bars like this I expect slow service and long wait times. They were prompt, knew their items, and were personable. I've been to the other Kirby's and this by far has set the standard. I also ran a 40m dash at the bar and caught a cramp before the last well that's neither here nor there . Molly the bartender deserves a special shout-out as well she's great.

I came one evening to meet a former colleague and share a few libations. The atmosphere was incredible, and everyone, including the patrons, was kind and polite. At the conclusion of our meeting, i unfortunately left my glasses and could not remember where I'd left them. I called Kirby Ice House, and the manager Jody took my concerns and looked around. Lo and behold, I left them, and he had them in the lost and found! Thanks Mr.Jody these glasses were a little over 400$, and I was saddened at the thought they were lost for good. You saved the day. Thanks again, sir. If you are in the heights area, I can not recommend this establishment enough.

Kirby Ice House is one of the best spots in Houston when you want a laid-back vibe, tons of space, and a drink in your hand without any fuss. The first thing you notice is how huge the patio is — it’s basically a backyard built for socializing, with plenty of tables, shade, and room to breathe. Inside, it has that clean, modern beer-hall feel with TVs everywhere, making it perfect for game days. The drink selection is great: lots of beer on tap, solid cocktails, and quick service at the bar even when it’s packed. It’s not a food-forward place, but the rotating food trucks keep things interesting and you can usually find something good to snack on. The crowd is fun, mixed, and social — perfect for groups, after-work hangs, or casual weekend plans. Parking can get tight during peak hours, but once you’re in, it’s a super easy place to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere.

The place is really beautiful and the atmosphere is spectacular. The only downside is the food option it’s a Lupe Tortilla food truck, which is honestly very bad and overpriced. Also, the servers don’t really pay attention, they don’t even look at you, and you end up having to go get your own drink.

Great space if you just want to watch sports. The place does NOT serve food but there is a food truck and you can bring outside food. They allow dogs inside, one draw back if you are not pet friendly

Bajitos food truck did not give me what I ordered. they where out of pizza so i ordered something else went to check on my food after a 45min they said they where at the store picking up supplies. A while later they gave me most of my order and a desert instead of the rest of my order did not want to deal with the staff. just refund the items and tell your customers if you have to go to the store to pick up supplies for the remainder of the items. 1 hour or more for a partial order also they said the 2 small quesos where their brisket queso appetizers there was no brisket in the queso I'm pretty sure they where just portioning out what they had left 15$ + for that with no brisket. Felt ripped off. Give people what they order not what you have left on the truck. I'm pretty sure the items in the picture where sides to my quesadillas and I didn't receive my brisket queso at all even after mentioning that to the truck staff they insisted that was their brisket queso with no brisket. I ordered nachos also that had to be the toppings for the nachos
