This is a coffee spot with a cafe, and definitely a place you can work. We came in and definitely wanted to pull out our laptops and respond to a few emails. It's cool because you can have a drink or coffee anytime of day,, so I definitely would call ahead and ask about the hours. Sunday social and Sunday press are one and the same, so if they are open, they are open!

All the good vibes. Avocado toast had great flavor and their cappuccino was amazing! Great place to work and you can rent their private room. Wish I had more time to explore their other menu items!

I have been here multiple times on multiple occasions and I feel compelled to share a good review, as I can’t see how they don’t have more stars. I love the lavender latte. I love that they outsource the croissant pastries so that they are perfect, instead of doing what a lot of people do and buying frozen, passing them off as their own. The service has always been wonderful, and they have a drive though!! That is so hard to find at local coffee shops. The Sunday croissant sandwich is my favorite, but we have had the chilaquiles and they were sooo good! Freshly fried tortilla chips and very flavorful, huge portion. Even the fruit cup for my 2 year old had a variety of fresh berries and melons, also hard to find. This is my go to place to come, especially if I want to work on my laptop and have a relaxing place to sit and eat something good.

I'm a regular at Sunday Press and the bartender, Christy, always provides such great customer service! She's so friendly and always helps me with all my food and drink needs. Whether, you're needing a great place to work remotely or want to try some great food and drinks, Sunday Press is a great option! I would highly recommend stopping by and asking for Christy directly!

Christy is an amazing employee! I come here often and she is also quick with taking orders and keeps me updated on any specials they have! Sunday Press has wifi, so great study spot. I get their acai bowls and they are soooo good and filling. Coffee is also really good.

Wow, the food and customer service we received today by Alecia was 100000/10!💕💐🥹 We ordered the Asian Grains bowl & the Club sandwich and both were so delicious! I also ordered the Vanilla Latte w/ oatmilk and it was so buttery and creamy! Thanks Alecia for making sure I enjoyed my coffee to my lioness and for being so sweet and kind! I’ll be back just bc she was so sweet and hospitable! Ahh! Also, it was clean and vibes inside! Also, not loud but had good music!

Amazing! Ordered a dish from them through DoorDash but the order was not right. I called and one of the ladies who worked there and was beautiful too, came and delivered the correct order to me directly. Not sure if she was the owner, a manager, or just an employee. But amazing service and resolution. Food was great too. Will be ordering many more times. :). Thank you.

Absolutely loved this place. Came here for a meeting it was perfect. I love, I can order pastries & coffee, but if I want a bit to eat there is food. I had the Cesar wrap and it’s was delicious. I also had coffee and crème brûlée, croissant. Hands down my favorite. Mia, Andrew, and Alicia were so great and kind. They gave me great recommendations when trying to decide on what to get. However, Tristan. This young man was amazing. He was the first person I made contact with and he attended to us with top tier service and attention. You guys truly have a gem there with him.

I had a great experience here. I think what I acknowledge the most when I frequent a business is the atmosphere and friendliness of staff. I got exactly that with Tristan. He was welcoming and friendly. He engaged in a conversation with me and it did not feel forced. Alongside the rest of the staff, Mia, Andrew and Alicia. This was a solid crew during my visit. Always a great experience for me.

Amazing experience! Tristan, Mia, Andrew, and Alicia were all great, but Tristan truly stood out. From the moment we walked in, he was attentive, welcoming, and took the time to walk us through the menu. His service was excellent and made the experience even better. We were served with care and excellence..definitely will be coming back! ☕️✨

Absolutely loved the experience! I arrived with an empty stomach, expecting a run of the mill coffee shop, but this place truly exceeded all expectations. The food was phenomenal. The service was equally amazing, I was warmly greeted by Andrew and Tristan, whose kindness created a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of work.

I spent an entire study day at Sunday Press with a group of my classmates, and this place absolutely deserves every bit of praise. We were there from 10:30 a.m. until almost 8 p.m. studying for radiology school, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff was genuinely outstanding attentive, patient, and consistently welcoming the entire day. The customer service here is truly A1. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, the Caesar wrap was incredible (their house dressing takes it to another level), and the burger was honestly one of the best I’ve had juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. They also had a salad with sweet potato (forgot the name) that was so good I’m still thinking about it. If you’re looking for a spot with great energy, excellent food, and staff who make you feel taken care of, Sunday Press is it. Highly recommend for studying, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a good meal.

Came to this place for the first time to attend an Open Mic Poetry Night Event, this place is AMAZING! I have nothing but great things to say! The atmosphere was great, the drinks were great, the staff members were BEYOND great with their level of service, and event itself was great too! I will definitely be coming here more often because the menu looks incredible. This is the perfect kind of place for hosting events, for date nights, to meet up with friends, to study or do work, or even come though by yourself to simply soak in the positive energy and vibes. Swing by if you ever get a chance, you’ll know what I mean when you’re there. You’re welcome 😏

We hosted my birthday party here on a Saturday night at the Garden Oaks location and it was beyond my expectations. Our tables were set up prior to our arrival and our catering order was presented beautifully for our guest’s arrival. The atmosphere was perfect for not feeling like you were at a coffee shop but a proper relaxed bar. The team assisting us (Shawn & the Brandons) at the bar and with our cake was exceptional. Would do it again and again. Thank you!

There is an excellent set of pastries here and some good lunch fair as well. If you list that an egg will be soft boiled it should be soft, not hard though. The other call out on food is when you order a double espress and it is served in an ice cold cup, it sucks. Espresso should be hot and it rarely is, I am going to start asking for it in a to go cup, because the baristas don't seem to care. I find the lady who typically is cleaning when I come in to be the best employee here, and there are some other good ones. I just love that it is so important that your table is clean and you have a place to sit.

Sunday Press is a stylish and spacious cafe in Garden Oaks with a vibe that transports you to a different decade. The retro-modern interior is beautiful, and the private parking lot (plus a drive-through) makes it super convenient. I recently visited with my wife and 15-month-old son, and we appreciated the family-friendly setup, including high chairs. Coffee-wise, I ordered a cappuccino ($4.75), which was good. For lunch, I tried the Tomato Basil Soup with grilled cheese ($16). The soup was excellent—rich and comforting—but the grilled cheese left something to be desired. It wasn’t cut for easy dipping, the bread was unevenly toasted, and the texture was a bit hard in places. The cheese itself was solid, but I expected better quality. I’d love to see them cut their grilled cheese diagonally and use a better bread. We also got a Lemon Blueberry Loaf ($5.75) for our son, and I ended up sneaking a bite—it was amazing. Moist, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Their pastry case is full of tempting options, and everything looked fresh and high quality. Still, Sunday Press stands out with its broad menu of food, pastries, and now cocktails thanks to their Sunday Social bar addition. With co-owners Cassie Ghaffar and Sandy Nguyen also behind Saigon Hustle next door, it’s clear this spot is part of a growing local scene. I’d definitely return to try more.

The pastries at this coffee shop are absolutely amazing! Their rolled croissants with various toppings are unique and delicious. The coffee shop itself has a great vibe, with parking available in the back and a convenient drive-thru for quick orders. The interior is lovely, featuring a cute bar, tables for dining, and small lounge areas for a more relaxed experience. The ordering process is simple—place your order, and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. The staff is friendly and attentive. However, my niece had a less-than-perfect experience. She ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, but before being called to pick it up, they informed her it was out of stock and offered a pricier alternative, which she agreed to. But when they delivered her food, they brought the original sandwich she ordered! She had to return to the cashier to request a refund for the difference, which could have been avoided with better communication among the staff. As for me, I ordered a turkey sandwich, a mango-rolled croissant, and a matcha-pistachio drink. My family got a pumpkin-chocolate loaf, a chocolate-rolled croissant, and coffee. Everything was delicious! Overall, it’s a cute spot worth trying!

I used to visit here often, and it really meant a lot to me so this experience was genuinely disappointing. I know they’re in the process of making updates, but they feel uncared for and haphazard, almost temporary, with no clear end in sight. The new updates mean there are a lot of new, flashy changes, yet they seem to take priority over the small details that once made this place special. With the new Sunday Social concept, the space now feels disjointed and like it’s having an identity crisis. It looks polished on the surface, but the overall experience feels held together with duct tape. My seasonal matcha was fine, but the food quality has noticeably declined. The tamago sandwich was just okay, and the bread has clearly changed to something more generic. I also used to look forward to the fries as they were always thin, crispy, and delicious but this time they were closer to fast-food fries (and not even the good kind). When I asked about the change, I was told it was due to what manufacturers could provide, which was discouraging. I’m sure I’ll still visit, but it no longer feels like the place it used to be. The big, flashy changes seem to be overshadowing the details—and those details are what once made this place mean so much.

Got the Vanilla Chia Seed pudding with fruit and granola because it was a buy one get one. $10+ for both. First time ordering from here. It's good, but nothing I can't make at home and typically do. Had a gotten this without the BOGO deal and paid full price, I would never have gone back. Very limited portion for $10+ a serving!!!! I'm actually hesitant to try anything else due to the price of this is the amount you'll receive. Overall, the chia seed pudding is tasty, but not extraordinary, and definitely not worth the expense. Hence the 3 stars. I guess everything is more expensive and smaller quantities these days. I'll go back to making it myself at home.

I went here today for the first time & upon arrival I thought it was so cute, the vibes were amazing and there were multiple people inside studying so I stayed to work for a little bit. But once I went to the restroom & saw how dirty it was I came out & looked a little closer at everything & noticed how dirty the entire place is. The furniture, table tops, floors, even the area to refill your water hadn't looked like it had been wiped down in AWHILE. I wouldn't trust eating food from a place like this. If you can't clean what customers can see, why would you clean the kitchen? Stay tentative.

I had breakfast here and that was good! Great service and nice people. I came back for a pastry and was looking forward to it until I noticed several FLYS hanging out on the food and was VERY noticeable to the staff adjusting them but they didn’t seem to care to try and fix it. Maybe wrap them individually or have a protocol to avoid letting fly’s on the food.

Sunday Press quickly became a favorite after I tried their croissant swirls to go—absolutely loved them! I came back excited to try their savory brunch options, but unfortunately, they missed the mark. The croissant sandwich looked amazing but tasted bland, and the croissant itself felt a bit stale. I also tried the eggs Benedict, and it was a letdown—the hollandaise sauce was watery and lacked flavor. Thankfully, the chocolate croissant swirl was still as good as ever. Stick to the pastries here; savory options were disappointing.

I ordered the Mediterranean Greens Bowl to go....I recommend looking at the food before you leave....I got all the way home to my apartment in a high-rise 15 mins awaybefore I pulled my food out of the bag...the picture says it all. The manager was very kind & refunded the money. Probably won't order that again. May not go there anymore. UPDATE: I ordered my husband the turkey melt, he didn't want to say anything because mine was so bad but the greens were wilt edam barely any turkey!! It looked terrible. DO NOT EAT LUNCH HERE. I've had the breakfast in the past and it was fine, but I will never waste my time and money or be embarrassed by their lunch again. Sorely disappointed.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Horrible and Disgusting Experience I usually come to this café to work on my laptop and enjoy a coffee. The environment appears nice, and many people come here to work or have breakfast, which is why what I experienced this past Monday was so disappointing. While waiting to place my coffee order on Monday, I overheard the cashiers talking about cockroaches nesting behind the coffee machine. I then saw them actively trying to kill several cockroaches between the coffee machine itself, mentioning that there were many of them—possibly even getting into or around the coffee beans. Thinking about how many people had already been served coffee from that machine was absolutely disgusting. What made it even worse was the clear lack of proper fumigation or pest control, especially for a business that sells food and drinks daily. On top of that, the pastry area had multiple flies, which raised even more serious hygiene concerns. I was so disturbed that I left immediately and went somewhere else. I will not be returning, and I will be informing friends to avoid eating or drinking here. It’s truly a shame—such a beautiful place, but extremely neglected where it matters most: cleanliness and food safety, particularly in the coffee and dessert areas. Very disappointing and unacceptable.
