We visited Tamashi Ramen & Sushi during lunch hour and absolutely loved the peaceful ambiance. The service was quick and efficient, making it a great spot if you’re looking for something fast and easy. Just be aware that parking can be a bit tight. Overall, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Food was SUPER!!!!!! DELICIOUS the BEST RAMEN i have ever eaten definitely will be going back.
Excellent Japanese restaurant that gives a literal hole-in-the-wall feeling but has a vast array of dishes to choose from, including rice bowls, sushi, and ramen. I had a pork chashu bowl and it was well flavored and textured being both crispy and tender. I also got a shrimp tempura roll and it paired perfectly. There’s not a lot of seating but we lucked out and it wasn’t too busy. Parking is limited but there’s spots both in front and the back. This would make a great date spot or a casual bite out.
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS 10/10. I went here after searching for a food spot just coming out of the hospital after getting my left testicle checked due to it being in pain the past 2 days. It was a blessing that i found this food spot because once i had their delicious food it healed my testicular pain. Please eat here. I had thought i experienced 10/10 food before but this was a whole different experience. God bless who ever made the food.
Broth (tonkatsu) was a 10/10. Rich with a perfect salt level. Pretty sure the chashu was made in house; also perfect 10. My ramen came with the thin noodles which I typically don’t enjoy, but were very good. Will ask for the thick next time to compare. Also, I think we got to listen to Japanese X-mas carols on the radio? In any case, the music was fun and added to the atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem and worth a drive.
This cute, neatly tucked sushi placed is located in a small parking lot with limited seating, but is definitely worth the wait. We ordered their tamashi's menn and curry tsukeme. We also loved the hot papa roll (such a cute name haha) and the new moon roll. Delicious and vibrant flavors for both sushi and ramen. Originally when searching for a sushi spot we did not think of getting soup but glad we ended up here to try their signature curry!
I am very impressed with this restaurant, the sushi was very fresh and amazing. I eat a lot of sushi but it has never really hit like this. The rice was fresh and warm, and all the food tasted amazing. It is definitely a small ma and pa restaurant, but the food is clean and it deserves some more attention. Over all I very much enjoyed my experience here.
This place was recommended by a friend and I was truly blown away!! It a small restaurant and the parking is a bit complicated but worth everything. I had the miso ramen and she had the curry ramen, both were amazing! The other menu items looked and sounded great as well so I’ll have to be back to give them a try!
Came here specifically for their Curry ramen and it did not disappoint! It was so delicious, I will definitely come back for more! They have sushi as well but didn’t get to try it this time. Fried Squid was also tasty. I want to come back and try the other ramens! Small establishment, very intimate setting, I don’t like how close each table was but the food was worth it.
This place is easy to miss if you don't know it's there. It is a quaint intimate eatery that I was lucky to get a seat at. As soon as the door opens, the aromas of deliciousness greet you. The wait staff are quick and attentive. Your food is ready in minutes. The depth of flavors in each bite are uh-mazing. I really wished for an unending bowl of broth and ramen.
Flavorful, Quaint, & Lively! 😋 Noticed That The Atmosphere Felt Rushed Due To The {CV:ES} Customer Volume To Establishment Size Ratio. 🍜 The Staff Was Very Helpful & Diligent;👌🏾 Tending To All While Being Steadfast For The Amount Of Individuals Visiting The Location. 🙂↕️ We Thoroughly Enjoyed Everyone & The Atmosphere; 🎶 Those We Interacted With, That Entered For Pick Up, Dine In & Those We Encountered And Saw While Departing. 🥰
Tried this Japanese restaurant and absolutely loved it! The curry ramen was rich, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The Houston roll was also amazing — super fresh and delicious. The shop is very small, but it has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it feel comfortable rather than cramped. They only serve soft drinks at the moment, and I do wish they offered boba or milk tea, but honestly the food itself was a 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back! Me and my kids enjoyed this one.
Summary: a small but cozy place to have a sushi date at or eat alone Food: the regular ramen was good but I’d actually recommend putting the spice in it and not on the side . Sushi was also good but nothing mind blowing. Price was reasonable for ramen but not for the sushi imo Service: our server was quite attentive and our food came out quickly Atmosphere: definitely tiny compared to most places and bc of the dim lighting, it has an intimate feeling to it. Wouldn’t recommend coming in large groups
I came in with a hard sushi craving. And yes, it was satisfying. I ordered to go, and the wait was accurate, and the people were efficient. If I had to say anything close to being negative would be the parking. It’s gosh darn tiny. So go at a crazy weird time and it should be fine. I’m sure there is parking somewhere close and decently nearby, but from what I can tell you get 3 spots, good luck. But the sushi was good, the workers were pleasant, and everything tasted good. I’m not a local, but I bet this would be great amongst those who are.
First time visit based on a co workers recommendation. Really enjoyed my lunch. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was full of flavor. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned as were the fresh herbs and egg. The service was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend you give them a try.
It was our first time trying ramen. The food was good, but some in our party who are more experienced with ramen said it lacked authentic flavor. I tried the shrimp based ramen and it shrimp was delicious, but tough. The shrimp flavor itself was a bit to overpowering. If you order spicy, it will definitely be very spicy! The location is a bit small and parking is limited. My biggest complaint was we had a party of 5, We are generous tippers and the service was great however, they have a suggested gratuity at the bottom of the checks, As we all made sure our bill was spit properly and we're making sure the suggested tip was enough at 22 percent, the waitress took all our cards and brought the check back for signature with gratuity already added. No where does it state it is automatically added for parties of 5 or more. Also what percentage did she decide was to be added 18, 20, 22, 25? We didn't want to argue or do the math so we paid and left. We would have likely left more had it not been added. I would have given the food another chance but the added gratuity was our deciding factor not to return.
Spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls were soggy and slimy. 2 bites, didn’t finish. Ramen noodles were hard (undercooked-not crunchy). Broth was delicious. I didn’t finish any of my food. Upon arriving home (roughly within the hour), I feel very ill. I’ve had food poising before. I do not know that this is food poisoning currently; but, it feels like it based off of previous experience, Admittedly, I did not raise these concerns while there. I simply got to-go containers, paid, and left. Tossed the food. This was my first visit. Maybe it was a bad night for them. I don’t know.
This was my very first time coming in and trying Tamashi ramen. Pros- good customer service Cons- no chicken ramen available seriously?! broth too salty, the noodles are not ramen noodles. They tasted so hard. - Alot of items has pork in it and for a customer who cannot have pork it makes a difficult menu. Poor food quality for the price paid. The atmosphere was very small and dingy. Very limited and Difficult seatings. I would guess 5-6 table for dine in. Lastly extremely small parking. Will not be coming to Tamashi. Very disappointed
REALLY TERRIBLE RAMEN AND SERVICE I was dining alone and was told a table would be ready soon. After waiting, another staff abruptly told me there were no tables available because they needed to save them for a larger group. No apologies whatsoever. The bar seating I was pushed into was tiny and uncomfortable, and the service felt dismissive and unfair. The ramen itself was just as bad!! the broth was EXTREMELY salty and tasted like MSG. I had to drink so much water afterwards. The meat was cold, and everything in the ramen tasted like it had been thrown together at the last minute. Overall, this place was a HUGE letdown.
I really want to like this place- but I constantly receive poor quality food. The rice is always super soggy or HARD. Literally got my order just now and I’m CRUNCHING hard pieces of rice. Also, the packaging is careless. They put containers they touch with their hands and where bottoms touch countertops, on TOP OF THE FOOD. To add insult to injury, they SMASHED a piece of sushi to make it fit. Just put it in the bag????? So annoyed and will never eat here again.
