Very cool space! Really enjoyed the games and swings. Wish we could have gone up to the tower but it was occupied.
Cool local bar next to White Oaks Music Hall. I'm always looking forward to their once a month Thorn and Moon market!
The view on top of the tower is greattt. Great place to go with friends and enjoy the night. If you don’t vape..you gon’ learn today. #lovepeacebeer
Very unique place. Fast service and decent specials. Looks like they're doing some construction so I expect more things to come.
love the outdoor vibe and space and parking. curious why i had not been here before... guess it seems a bit out of the way, but it is a great place to host parties/ events. have food trucks available
Omg my new favorite place in houston. The Bartender is my favorite person in the world. She serves the best drinks and accompanied by mr. Luke they make a great 1 timers experience. Thank you
Good beer selection and nice chill patio to hang out on. Great spot to hang out at before a show at White Oak. Get some Trompo tacos from La Macro truck while you are there.
Hands down the best drive in theater I have been to (and we'll the only). Staff is amazing and personable, service is quick, and the experience is one you have to see for yourself.
I was really surprised to learn that this is now a bar. This place used to belong to R W. Walker, owner of Metal Enterprises. Then it had an acrylic floor inlaid with coins. My mother used to live there.
Keep H-Town jammin'! I love the new music scene here in town. The bartenders are awesome and are really great at setting you up with a proper drink.
Great Location. Great staff. Awesome selection of beer! Definitely worth the trip and worth coming back.
Just stumbled upon this place one night and had a great time. The atmosphere was chill af and I love the outdoor seating they have going on.
The nicest spot in Houston for a wide range of activities. Free yoga on Sunday mornings at 10. Nice happy hour. Great vibe overall
Such a neat place! Great ambiance and they had great service at the bar. Drinks were fairly priced and delicious!
They need to hurry with the tower -_- Deff an under rated spot. It's super chill great beers spacious and la macro serving up some top notch trompo.
Very relaxed atmosphere with live music and plenty of seating. Nice view from the deck and I can't want for the tower to open.
Raven Tower is unique. Laid back place to have a drink. Love how they repurposed the existing building and tower. You can bring your dog to the patio too!
6 am yoga with black swan yoga was awesome! I haven't been to it as a bar but it looks like it would be a really cool spot
Really nice place with food trucks and many choices of beers. Food was really good, specially tacos, and you can scale up to the tower for the views.
New hidden secret. Went to a community event for LOUD Muzik with vendors and musicians. Very nice breeze under the trees. Huge patio and deck!
Whether you're seeing a concert or just in the area I suggest you check this place out!! Mondays-Friday it's happy hour on draft beers which includes a ton of Houston/Texas beers! Great atmosphere.. the playlist was put together by the gods them self. Staff is super friendly!
Great place! If i remember right this place used to be a crane contractors shop where the owner got divorced and built the little look out on top. They did an excellent job with the remodel/construction. Prices are right where they should be. Usually a food truck for food.
My man and I order long islands and they were the best we have had in a long time! We went to the top of the tower, the stairs were hell for me but well worth the view of the city. Can't wait to go again.
Solid bar with a great view of downtown (when the tower is reopened). Good drinks and regular drink specials. Great food trucks in the area, and a great place to drink before/after a concert at White Oak.
Amazing. Amazing. AMAZING!!!! Had the time of my life. Came for the Thorn and Moon event. The Bewitched Burlesque show was absolutely a bonus!! A great time. Can't wait for the next event
Great location! This place has so much potential. It's a great bar to hang out and catch some fresh air. The bar staff is always a bit dull.
Really casual place to hang out. Good music, fun atmosphere. There is a food truck on site if you are hungry. Nice view of White Oak Music Hall and downtown if you walk a little bit
Fun patio bar in Houston with lots of local craft beers on tap and in cans. Creative cocktails, frozen drinks, and wine offer something for everyone. A great spot to grab a drink before or after any show at White Oak Music Hall next door!
Such a fantastic patio with amazing views, city skyline with a little slice of nature. The menu has some fun rotating cocktails and a decent selection of brews.
We had a blast here! There was plenty of food and drinks around. Great place to hang out before and after an event.
I visited the Raven Tower when there was a Vegan Festival. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I especially favored being under the pavilion to watch a fashion show to get away from the exposure to direct sun. I typically enjoy festivals so not much hinders me in enjoying myself! The food, entertainment, the people and the experience was wonderful. However, parking isn’t the best. Prepare to park far ,and walk to the event. I ended up parking on the street ,and said a prayer and kept it moving.
Yall need to go see Jo and Harrison this bar is incredible now!
It was a chill Sunday evening at Raven Tower. There was no show at White Oak Music Hall, so things were very calm at the bar, which really suit my mood. I brought my camera gear and enjoyed a drink while capturing some great shots of the city. I highly recommend this venue. Great craft beers and nice staff.
Didn't eat but nice place, friendly staff.
Jo and Harrison are the best!!! Come hang out and enjoy yourself.
Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Great local beer selection on tap and whiskey specials. I haven't had any disappointments with the staff. A nice-sized, dog-friendly patio overlooks a channel of the bayou. Outdoor stage. Haven't even made it inside the actual tower yet! Oh yeah, they have a parking LOT. Well done.
the bartenders are fun! the drinks always taste great! very cute location with both great outdoor patio seating/swinging & indoor with rooftop city views. monday evenings there’s a cute local market. there’s a drive-in next door with great signal & fast contactless service. and finally, food trucks on sight with yummy menu options!
Great place. We went for the Magical Market. Good affordable drinks. The vendors were great. Except one who sold me 2 bags of matches that didn't have the phosphorus. They were trash.
Really nice spot with a great selection of draft and bottle beer, liquor, and cocktails. Outside atmosphere is amazing. Especially if you are looking for a date night with a view of the city that's pretty hard to find. There food truck outside is just the cherry on top of that whiskey sour. If your looking for a chill spot to hang out this is definitely the place. 👍🏾
Jo and Harrison are the best bartenders and they never miss with the music!!
It’s a super cool place to hangout and have a few cocktails
Absolutely wonderful place. Owner Rusty Dusty was a great host, the views of downtown are unreal, and the bartenders were all fantastic. Thank you guys 🤘
I stopped in before a concert on a Monday night. They contracted an outside vendor for ‘Steak night’ and it was simple amazing. $25 for a very high quality steak, baked potato, sausage and green beans. The most unexpected fabulous meal I have had in a long time.
Great place! Great people work there. Already planning a private party there
New ownership and they are taking off! They've done a great job of updating the place without taking away its charm! Huge patio with giant tv, plenty of things on tap and full spirits selection and even options for people who are dry or dry-ish! I got the No Woman No Cry cocktail on tap with the Elevate citrus and it's awesome!
Just opened up under new management. Already loving it. Huge TV playing games outside with great quality, service has been great, lots of options for great food. Highly recommend coming!
I used to come here when it was previously owned and the bar was lackluster at best. The tower was always closed. Recently, I stopped by before the Cuco show next door, and was immediately welcomed by the bartender, Joe, and barhand, Harrison. Joe was very polite and I loved his energy, he gave us the rundown of the new ownership and plans for the future and even offered to take us on a private tour of the tower after the show. I could tell Joe was training others while still managing a the crowd and taking orders. We stopped by after the show because we heard Bad Bunny playing and, although it was busy, Joe and Harrison still managed to greet us with a smile and ensure people were taken care of. I never leave review of places but I was impressed with the renovations, staff, and upgraded environment. Looking forward to coming back when it reopens.
Love coming here all the time!!! Jo and Harrison were fantastic and I love their music taste.
Jo and Harrison were awesome! We were at the Haim concert and they took care of us. Great atmosphere and great service
Awesome venue. Dog friendly, good beer selection with good prices at hh. I went on a Tuesday by myself on Fat Tuesday, so wasn't the most packed, which is kinda what I wanted anyways, so I was happy. Definitely coming back at a better date with my wife and dog, maybe for some music too. Cool place, right by my house too! Plus, I know the owner of LaMacro from being a regular, and I love their trompo tacos, their food truck is parked here. What can I say, I like it!
Great bar, popular with the masses, unfortunately each time I've been there they've had the tower closed but it's still worth a visit without it!
Nice venue with good staff. The vendors were awesome. There's a fair amount of rock and gravel at the back of the venue. I could do with a lot less of that.
Stopped in just before a show at White Oak -- too busy to get a drink at the time -- but that is to be expected. Cool place though. Will definitely return.
I’ve been here a few times now. It’s a good little bar with a nice selection and a good outdoor seating area. Note if you are not up for sitting outdoors this isn’t your place because it is very open which I like.
Really cool spot. The bartenders couldn't seem to handle 20 people in the bar, and acted like it was my fault for even being there making them work, plus the drinks were a bit pricey for the outside of downtown location, but the views and the patrons totally made it worth it! I'll be back.
A little pricey and I miss the menu they had a year or so ago. Overall a nice space and the markets are always good here. Parking is awful if there's a busy show at white oak.
I went there for the drive in movie. The radio reception was great. The staff for both the movie and the Raven Tower were very friendly and helpful. The prices were good and the beverage selection was large.
Well priced, diverse beer selection. Good place to meet before a concert or just ride up for a beer at sunset under the Houston skyline. Don't miss la Marco truck if they're in the lot.
Visited for the Night Market and had a great time. Parking was easy and the area was spacious and easy to maneuver even with a large crowd. I'll be visiting again to check it out outside of the event.
The selection of beers was pretty decent but we were sad to find out that we couldn't actually go up to the tower. The plus side is that there is a great deck in the back with plenty of seats and swings.
Nice place next to the White Oak Music Hall in the Heights. Several beers on tap and live music occasionally. Mostly a patio and deck venue. Food trucks available. Kinda hipster. The tower has never been open when I've been but I imagine that's a pretty spectacular view.
Came here my first night in Houston and it was perfect. Super casual and chill. Drinks were good and reasonable. Plenty of seating and huge outdoor space. Not super loud and really easy to just chill. It was the perfect spot for my first night in town to be able to catch up with my best friend. Good spot.
Excellent to listen and support local singers 🫶
I went Saturday on coffin angel event, the music was pretty good, drinks are good, but if you like wisky you will be a little disappointed ( not many good options) music was pretty good after 9:30pm if you like rock, they have a taco truck pretty close but I haven't try the food, I recommend coming with a partner if you are a introvert otherwise everyone is friendly from my experience, I think is pet friendly cause a saw a lady with a dog but I still recommend to call to check to see if its OK to bring a dog, if you dont drink or just drink like 2 bears or water bottles $20 is more that enough, if you like whisky you may need $30-$60 for the good one ( $12 for one single whisky drink) if you drink take a Uber unless there's a designated driver, they serve the right amount of alcohol, so it will hit you.
The drink were great and not expensive. Bar tender could be nicer. The entrance is not clear so you find yourself wondering tryibg to figure out where to enter.
From the outside it looks like a skate park, the inside is much nicer but it's missing something. They have cornhole and ping pong too. The crowd is late twenties to early thirties
Cool outdoor patio bar. Chill vibes. They were out of all draft beers though. Limited selection but there is a full bar. I wouldn't visit in the summer as it's all open air.
I was hoping for a good experience, I visited with my cousins from out of town on a Friday. But it was empty, no people at all. And the bar was out of draft beer. Maybe we'll have better luck next time.
I'd give it five stars if White Oak hadn't screwed up the parking! Used to come here all the time and now it's impossible to get to since White Oak has events every Friday and Saturday. Sorry but I'm not paying $20 for parking for a bar! They really need to figure out a new system. From what I could tell, it's been closed completely whenever White Oak has shows going on, which is very unfortunate.
This place has some much potential, maybe we caught it on a bad weekend, will for sure try again to give it another chance.. One of the main reason we went was for the Tower concept lounge/bar. IT IS CLOSED DUE TO PERMIT REASONS! No where on the website does it say that. They did NOT have all the liquors/wines they list on the website. We were also willing to try the patio since no Tower, but no gas heaters or fire pits even though in was under 50 degrees. i will try this location again and hope for the best.
We've been to Raven Tower a few times now, the outside space is cool, great view of downtown and lots of room. They don't get too crowded yet, maybe once they get more popular they will but a good place for drinks. The drinks, however are a little pricey, we spent about $80 for a few hours on 6 mixed drinks.
They need copper or tin mugs, also needs to work on their old fashion recipe, get simple syrup behind the bar, food truck food is okay, needs to add some salt a vinegar to their recipes for more pop & flavor. Although spicyness of the wings is on point. Bar can't order food must be ordered through QR or outside. Pretty cool view and venue tho, just needs a little help in the management side because drinking in too of the tower is really interesting to see downtown Houston like that. Pretty loud so if you want to talk & network, I would suggest going outside or somewhere else. Overall just wasn't able to get my normal drinks and beer prices were cheap, specials are like 3 dollar domestics.
Staff was a bit rude last night. 1 bartender ignored my friend and me to call a lady who had been standing behind us. Another bartender tried to call someone behind us also, had to say, "I'm next!!" and wave my arms to get service.
Cute place but not very ADA compliant. Handicap stall is broken and wheelchair users have to use the restroom with the door open. Please address this issue asap.
The view from the tower was worth going and getting a drink. This place is probably super popular before during and after concerts at white oak. We visited for an event advertised on the raven tower social media promising multiple food trucks with brisket, drink specials, and live music. There were about 10 patrons and zero food trucks, drink specials, or live music. Asked what happened to the event and staff didn't know either. We stayed for a beer to check out the tower and then went down the street to black page.
This is blatant false advertising. The drinks are literally more expensive than Julep which has won a James Beard award. Straight bar prices are an understatement. The tower roof is open but no elevator, and no upstairs room. Until they get their act together, avoid this place like the plague. I have been looking forward to checking it out. Went today. It was a horrible disappointment.
This place is kind of whack, seems like they try to control every aspect of the venue. And why pay to go inside when I can see the band from the parking lot.....nice view doe
Says open but completely deserted with no one at the phones. Idk poor business practice.
Two of the four bathrooms (including the handicap stall) were out of order. The other two stalls had problems with the doors. You had to body slam them to escape. My reason for one star, is that the handicap stall appeared to have been out of order for some time and there were several customers using wheelchairs and had no accessible bathroom. This is not only ableist, but illegal. I've been here before, and had great experiences, but I think this is unacceptable.
Came out for an art event, that was fun but the bar experience was bad. Asking me if I want to leave the tap open when she charges me $7 per wine drink, while the glasses are filled 2-3 oz and unevenly too. Those wine positions looked like shots. Spend your money elsewhere.
I was there for an event Saturday, October 11. The men’s room was continuously out of paper towels and the entire day no one bothered to replace the soap dispenser which was empty. I alerted two members of the staff and at the end of the day the soap dispenser was still empty. During a pandemic it has been said many times that the number one defense we have is basic handwashing. This place doesn’t even bother to supply soap and water to their customers in her bathroom THE ENTIRE DAY. Not going back under this kind of management. Plus you’d think for the amount they charge for ONE DRINK they could at the very least supply their bathrooms with basic hygiene soap and paper towels. I was not impressed and will avoid ever attending shows here again.
The girl with the colorful pinkish purple Orangish Hair was very rude. We tried to enjoy ourselves before a concert and she gave us a hard time because we were Mexican. And we’re taking shots. She stated she didn’t feel comfortable serving us when we had valid ids and had only ordered 2 drinks previously al because we laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. We expected to be treated a lot better especially because we took the time to spend our money there as we waited for a concert! It’s really disappointing to have wasted money and time here.
I got tickets to go see a Tina Turner cover band. Tickets Said 6 to 10. Not one staff member showed up, so we left at 7 There is no parking. No food truck open and nothing. Just couple of picnic tables outside. Place was locked up tight. Several customers came and left. One person showed up that could have been staff who fiddled with the storage fence for 10 seconds and left. Shameful
Very upsetting experience with the bar service. I’ve always wanted to check this place out, but I’m now left having to dispute charges due to staff not closing tabs correctly. One day, 3 drinks turned into money wasted and a hassle. I attended an event and first ordered a drink at the outside bar, where I opened a tab with no issues. Jessi, a slim gentleman, provided good service there. The problems started when I went to the inside bar, which I only wanted to try because they offered more drink options. Both bartenders inside (one male, one female) lacked organization regarding who was next to be served, which caused a long wait just to order. Feeling discouraged, I decided to go back outside and continue ordering with Jessi. When it was time to close out my tab, Jessi was no longer at the outside bar. The same male bartender who was previously on the inside bar informed me that I had to close my tab at the inside bar. I went back inside, and although there wasn’t much of a wait this time, the female bartender had trouble locating my tab. I provided my name, the card used, and listed the drinks I ordered (only three drinks, totaling about $30). She rang me out without confirming the tab details or clearly stating that it was closed accordingly. As a result, I’m now having to dispute charges on my credit card.
