Stopped by this gem during a trip to Houston and it’s safe to say it did not disappoint at all. 5 stars cause the service and food were amazing. You can choose the level of spiciness for the chicken and I tried the hot ones 🔥 Wort the look and a must try.

I had the Tenders Sando and Urban fries, both were delicious. It's a small place, and we ordered and sat right down right a way. Fast service. Will definitely go back.

I had an amazing experience at this Urban Bird! The food was fresh, flavorful, and really well-presented. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the space has a vibe that makes it perfect for a casual meal or a night out. Urban Bird has definitely become one of my new go-to spots!

Great atmosphere with prompt service. Food was amazing. Since it was my first time, I had the full order of Urban Fries with the Nashville hot chicken. It was the perfect spiciness level for me, enough heat to taste it but not so much as to burn your taste buds. It definitely filled me up.

I tried the Hot Chicken so you don't have to. Nashville Hot -- Sando Xtra Hot -- Sando Fire in the Hole -- Urban Fries. The Nashville Hot has the right amount of spice that you don't feel it burning in your mouth. I'd definitely order using this if you like some spice but not so spicy that you can't finish the rest of your order. You'll definitely feel the heat if you go spicier than that case I felt it with the Xtra Hot and Fire in the hole. I really love that they include the coleslaw in the Sandos for the spicier options. I dont think they added it for the regular options, I could be wrong, but I ordered a normal one and it didn't have any. The two pickles that it comes with are two SLICES of pickles, not two sticks of pickles. (Idk, I was hoping it'd be the sticks of pickle) Their sauces are dip like, not saucy (runny) which is great. Like the ones from Wingstop. I tried the mango, strawberry, and blueberry drinks....They low-key, low-key taste the same. My taste buds could be fried but who knows. It's on the zesty side I feel. The tenders are quite big! Two tenders fit a 4 inch bun. And are thick. If you want to know what the menus are going to come out looking, check out the TV screen, it plays all the different choices on the menu.

Urban Bird is a Nashville style chicken joint that serves up chicken in all its glory: chicken sandwiches, tenders, crinkle-cut fries w/ extra additions like nacho fries, Mac n’ cheese fries etc they also have macaroni & cheese with hot Cheeto dust on the top which is every stoner’s dream combo. This one is located in the esteemed Sawyer Yards district- a growing artistic district on the outskirts of downtown Houston, the center as a whole is very aesthetically pleasing to lay your eyes on and it’s very well lit. Urban Bird comes off as a fast food type joint, but never judge a book by its cover. They are very serious about what they do and you are getting a superior product and seemingly supporting a semi-small chain of restaurants. The staff are amazingly accommodating and friendly, I know this because I was running late after ordering my food bordering on the end of business hours, a gentleman named Andre was super cool about it and allowed me to come in a bit later to get my food. That means a lot to me as that rarely ever happens let alone places even answering the phone close to that time. So I commend them and I am forever grateful for that gesture. The food is excellent and filling, I’d recommend this chain and especially this particular location over many of the options in Houston from chicken tenders. Yes, I am blatantly saying that they slay the big names in chicken, it’s not even a contest. So if you’re in the mood for hot Nashville chicken, or just chicken in general without the frills and absurdity that comes along with careless fast food chains come give them your business.
