First timer here. The service was so friendly & helpful. They took their time with guiding me through the menu. I got the turkey & pastrami, it was really good! They’re bread is also SOO good. The red drink is a strawberry coconut mixed tea that’s pretty refreshing. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu
Yummy sandwiches. We love a good sandwich after errands and this place hit the spot. We have our favorite chain sandwich shops but this place might be our new favorite . We had the pesto Turkey sandwich , veggie soup and brisket sandwich.
Absolutely amazing sandwiches! First, the bread is in a class by itself. IMO, nothing else like it in town. Second, the options cover both standard styles or imaginative creations like the Cholula Chicken - so you get the best of both worlds, whatever your craving. The staff was super friendly and the vibe was inviting and clean. Yes, there are deli-style sandwich places and other schmancy places that put creative things between bread, but this is my favorite hoagie/sub-style place in town. Gotta check it out!
We love this place - we come here about 1x a week since it opened. The people that work here are so nice and professional and seriously the quality of the food is the best. Turkey and pastrami is “I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life” good. The French dip is also a favorite of ours - it’s just so good. We also recently tried the chicken Caesar salad and the side of that thing was impressive. It also came with a good amount of chicken and 3 additional pieces of sourdough. 10/10 every single time. If you or your partner suffer from the hangries just drive here and everything will be okay. 😂💗
im currently sitting at a table eating my food while writing this and i just wanted to say i love this place so much, the food, the staff, the music. voila. yall the best.
My sister and I stopped by this sandwich shop yesterday for a quick bite, and it did not disappoint 🤤 I usually have trouble with most breads, but I digest sourdough much better, so I was very excited to see that as the main bread. We tried the smoked pepper turkey sandwich, and it was delicious! The staff was incredibly polite, and the overall vibe was laid-back and welcoming. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the mood for a great sandwich!
Best crispy sandwich. If you like a great bread here is your place . And cheers to Rico. I forgot to ask them to heat up my bread and he kindly asked me to keep the Cold one and made me new hot one. Great customer service
I really wanted a good sandwich. Google search brought me here. Got the #9, it was excellent.
Excellent sandwiches but pricey and limited seating if you have a part 4 or larger.
Very friendly service. The turkey pastrami was very good. Sourdough was better than I expected. I had my sandwich with clam chowder that was higher quality than I expected from a sandwich shop. I dined in and the restaurant is clean including the bathroom. They hit on all marks.
The food was great. The location was extremely clean, not a speck of trash or crumbs anywhere to be seen. The staff were friendly and helpful with their recommendations. The food came out pretty swiftly. When I got home to give my wife her order, after only 1 bite the first words out of her mouth were "wow, thats good, we are going back". The food is as delicious as it looks in the photos attached. There are plenty of sandwich spots around but this Sourdough bread makes a difference in the flavor experience. Stop by, you wont be disappointed.
Delicious, fresh sandwiches that came out pretty quickly. We ordered the garlic pesto turkey with sides of mac n cheese and the clam chowder (all delicious). Will definitely be coming back!
I purchased a 6inch turkey (sub cheddar) and added pepperoni and olives . Bottle water , chips, and cup of soup and the total came out to $20.84. The sandwiches come with a mayonnaise type of sauce and it’s really good. Food was delicious, I tried both the tomato bisque and the chicken poblano and both were very tasty, it was a hard decision. The bread was fresh , with a satisfying crunch on the outside and soft in the middle. This is the only location In Texas , they have a parent company , Sourdough & Co in California. It was slightly above average in pricing for me in Texas , but to be fair it was a slightly elevated experience in terms of flavor profile , texture, and the soup tasted house made - although it wasn’t. It was restaurant quality. Their soups are daily , so you can’t order the broccoli and cheese unless it happens to be the soup of the day. And I believe they offer two options daily. The crew working was also really nice and have restaurant experience, which is nice because all around you get your money’s worth …although it’s above average for a sandwich shop (for Texas)
Amazing sandwiches! I came in the morning and got their turkey sandwich and it was incredible. The bread is thin and tasty. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes sandwiches, they have almost all meats available and vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and recommended great options, I had to come twice in one day since it was so good.
Normally I am not a fan of the more simple or classic sandwich. However, WoS delivered with some great flavor, awesome bread and great customer service. Our party of 4 was more than happy with everything we got. They even made a mistake on one sandwich, but caught the mistake before giving us our order. They then proceeded to give us the extra sandwich abuse they would have had to throw it out otherwise. Great food and people. We will 100% be back.
Great little sandwich spot. The bread is delicious and fresh. I had the smoked brisket and it was great but I would recommend no mayo on it. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant.
The staff were friendly and attentive. It was my first time in and they helped guide me towards a great recommendation. The hot brisket sandwich with bbq sauce and Cole slaw. Was a great contrast in flavors and temp levels with the hot brisket and cool slaw. The sandwich was filling and great for the price and product. If you have not tried this shop give it a go.
Best Sandwich EVER!!! It was made with love. I can taste it. It was so delicious. Soup was good too. VERY friendly Owner and very clean inside. Will b back for sure.
The first bite told the story. Crunchy and chew great stuffed with chicken deliciousness. They have unbelievably delicious sandwiches. Can’t wait to try more. My wife and I agree. A real find.
Sandwiches were delicious! The kids enjoyed their food as well so that was a big plus! Had the pastrami Reuben and now Im hooked. Will be back soon to try something new for sure.

10/10 I so recommend!!! From the great customer service all the way down to the cleanliness of the restaurant! The staff always gets my order correct & the food is always fresh. Major shout out to Hank, for the awesome customer service!
Seriously one of my favorite sandwich spots in Houston! The food is always fresh and delicious—and that sourdough bread… WOW. The place is consistently clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner is an awesome guy who genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. I recommend this spot to friends and family all the time. My go-to order is the cracked pepper turkey sandwich , and the broccoli cheddar soup is the perfect pairing. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try—you won’t be disappointed!
This was my first time at Sourdough and Daniel at the front was incredibly helpful. He took his time explaining the menu and helped me choose the perfect sandwich, I went with the chicken pesto and it was absolutely delicious. I also had the clam chowder, which was just as good. The food was amazing, but Daniel’s kindness and patience really stood out. Will definitely be back!

Easy order to go. Quick service. Clean restaurant. Strawberry breeze love it. Proce abit high for a sandwich.

Great sandwiches on good bread, one of my favorite veggie sandwiches around. Just wish wasn't so expensive- especially for a cup of soup ($6). You should get a dollar or two off the soup if you're buying it with a sandwich as lots of other places do. Combo for $8 additional doesn't help either

Did an online order for two sandwiches. One came out pretty much right, the second one wasn’t even close. Missed half of the ingredients. We also asked for sauces and items on the side, nothing was provided on the side. The one sandwich that was prepared close to right was pretty tasty. I’d consider going back but would try dining in next time due to the botched order.
Where's the Chicken? Seriously, my Ceasars salad had more croutons than chicken. When I found some little pieces of chicken, it tasted good. Alas, you guys need to add more chicken to the mix. They had no parmesan cheese; what's a Ceasar's salad without it. Anyway, salad was disappointing 😞. The sourdough bread is very good though.
It's a great tasting sandwich not gonna lie, They just ended up giving us 6 same size sandwich when we both ordered 2 difference sizes. Kinda of disappointed as this was my 1st time trying this place out and this is what was given. Excuse the bites.

I “guess” it is sourdough. Though. Not a profound sourdough profile, like one would find at Artisanas Bakery or the Ukraine lady who sells sourdough at Henderson and Kane on Sundays. It has a very similar flavor profile to the HEB sourdough that they sell. The Reuben was enjoyable enough though. I thought it was a good sandwich. About $12 for a 6 inch sandwich. Enough pastrami to make for two meals imho.

Received my turkey sandwich without any turkey on it (first photo)… not sure if it’s because it was ordered through Uber Eats, or that the person behind the counter is new or confused. I never indicated “no turkey” on my order, just a “no” on the cheese. This wasn’t my first time ordering from them (delivery, takeout, in person). Usually I have a great experience (second photo - what the turkey sandwich SHOULD look like). Guess I’ll be watching them like a hawk next time as they prepare my food behind the counter.
it just feels overpriced & under-delivers on the quality. $13.95 for a 6-inch french dip i ordered to go, got home and the au jus had leaked everywhere in the bag. +$7.95 for a mediocre soup and drink upgrade so like a $25 mid experience with tip. i imagine they don’t pay their workers super well (as mentioned by the worker bc i asked them), and it’s one of those places i’ve been before but after this experience won’t likely be revisiting. sandwich was decent, soup was forgettable—i suppose im just disappointed it’s not better
This place has so much potential. But they don’t serve hot sandwiches after 6:55 PM. They close at 7:30 PM. And prices are really high for sandwiches - even higher thank Jersey Mike’s. Good sandwiches but overall disappointed.
This is painful to write as I genuinely believe the food quality is great. I had issues with a group order on the website and after my fifth time trying to place it I called. Unfortunately I was told the website can only handle four items at a time. When I tried to place the order over the phone, I was told they were busy and to use the website (essentially to place multiple orders instead of one). The person helping me was, I think, stressed from the line, but that resulted in a quite rude tone toward me. After going back and forth about the website he took my order and discouraged customizations (only one sandwich was customized) because they were busy. Delivery wasn’t working either (likely not the restaurants fault) but I had to go pick it up after all of the discourse. Once I got back to the office I realized I was missing a bag of chips, a 6inch caprice sandwich, and the only customized sandwich was incorrect. I called, was again met with a less than helpful manner, and requested a refund for the missing items. I was told I would be refunded. I never was and now they won’t answer the phone when I call. Extremely disappointing experience. I will not be returning or recommending.
Rude cashier that didn’t listen to what I wanted. Ordered the Ruben that has almost no meat on it, and they didn’t even give me my soup that I paid $8 for. Had to ask them to bring me what I ordered. Food is reasonable at best. Bread is rubbery and extremely soggy even though I ordered in the restaurant. Clam chowder is white water with little to nothing else in it. I would never recommend this place. Poorly run business in the sandwich world, and extremely over priced for what you get. Not a fan, but I’d go to subway 10 times before this place again.
