Tommy's does not disappoint. It's consistent and the chili is always tasty. It's not the greatest patty in the world but the toppings and chili overshadow the patty's ineptness. Chili cheese fries are always a winner as well. I suggest a double burger with the quarter pound patties. If chili fries are too much chili for you with a chili burger, order your burger with extra chili, get a regular order of fries and use them to scoop up the extra chili.

Tommy's!!! That's all you have to say. Great food great prices. The breakfast burger is a hangover buster for sure. The chili is thick and tasty. Enough to defeat the biggest appetites. Their occasional specials like when the Dodgers or Rams are in the play offs make a great deal even better.

One of my favorite burgers. I drive out of my way to eat and Tommy's. You should, too. There is something about a big burger with chili dripping on the mat that makes me happy. The fries can be really good, too. But sometimes (15% of the time) they are under-cooked. Anyways, I will go back again and again.

Yes this is the Original Tommy's. The same ownership and menu as the original on Beverly & Rampart in Los Angeles. I have been to the original location and I have been coming to this one for many years. The food is exactly the same as you would expect at the original location without the long drive. Service is quick and the drive thru moves fast. Quality is always consistent and the food is fresh. So for a little bit of Los Angeles history, stop here for a taste and a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life and treat yourself to the original chili burger.

Best chilli in town, I always get only one or two items and chilli to go, great the next day with eggs over medium. Staff were very patient with our order stayed with us, even though we made several changes. Drive-thru was plenty fast. Strongly recommend.

Sometimes the craving hits for some chili cheese fries and a chili cheese burger, and when it does, there is no better place than Tommy's. Ask for the fries to be well done and they will stay fairly crispy under all that chili. We saw no one under 50 when we were there. I know it isn't an every week type of meal, or maybe even an every 6 month type of meal but it sure hits the spot.

Ive been trying all the Tommys locations for several Decades. This is my first visit to this one. This location's Chili is the closest to the original LA location's flavor. As I work my way through all of the Tommy's I notice the amazing continuity of food at every location, but the Chili is the key. BTW this place has tons of shaded parking and the usual great staff. Location is super clean inside. I rank this Tommy's location overall in the top 3 along with Burbank, and the Original LA location. The adventure continues.

Many restaurants promote themselves as using the best of every ingredient. Tommy's has achieved greatness with frankly grade B fries. True greatness on the shoulders of their spices and sauce that if you had better fries, the whole meal would not be better. As a friend described, "It's disgusting but you have to take another bite." Just look at the photo of my chili fries. Unappealing to say the least. But that right there is the best meal you'll have this week. Do not miss.

This place has been a go-to for my family and friends for many years. The place itself is nothing special, but the food is amazing. If you want a drippy, cheesy, chili-laden hamburger with extra dill pickles, this is the place. We let the chili drip from the burger onto our fries. There’s booths to eat inside, and a patio outside. The bathrooms are outside, too, across the drive-thru road, so watch for cars.

what can you say about Tommy's original hamburger or chili cheese burgers they are the greatest and they have chili fries with jalapenos you can get onions and that it's great. I've been going through this since the 70s it's one of those places you have to do in southern California. So on every trip I go I stopped off at a Tommy's. in the old days used to use them at 2 in the morning after the bar the grease help to stop The hangover in the morning.

I love this original Tommy's. The usually have special during the week that are very inexpensive. I have had the double Chile cheese burger. I have had the Chile cheese hot dog and the regular hamburger. All were excellent. I recommend grabbing a lot of paper towels as the Chile can get very messy.

Back in the day, after every USC band gig, we’d stop by the Tommy’s on Rampart. That was the bands “pay” a chili burger, chili fries, and the best post-show hangout in town. Even now, decades later, Tommy’s still hits the same. The chili is legendary, the burgers are messy in the best possible way, and the staff keep things moving fast with that classic LA energy. Tommy’s is hands down one of my favorite fast food places to frequent when I’m in Cali! Not too frequently though because their food is definitely heavy and will make you gain weight just from staring at it. But there’s something about their chili that’s just different than other places. I’ve been going to Tommy’s locations throughout Southern California since I was a kid and my order is always the same. Chili cheeseburger with chili, cheese and onions only. Then chili cheese fries on the side with added onions. I highly recommend if onions are your thing, but obviously omit them if you don’t want to have strong onion breath for the next 24-48 hours. Service has always been good at this specific location. The drive thru can have a little bit of a wait depending on the day and time that you go but it’s honestly worth it to me. Nothing can really compare to Tommys chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries! It just hits the spot every time. I’ll post pics with my review but be warned the fries I order is literally SMOTHERED in onions. It’s on the cheese burger too but you can’t see it as much. Highly recommend trying Tommys at least once in your life! You never know, it may be the best thing you’ve ever had. I know I’ve been a fan ever since I was a kid, and I still am! Five stars for delicious chili! Tommys never disappoints.

All of the Tommy's we have been to are great. This one is no different. The food is just so wonderful. If you want a chili burger or chili dog, this is the place to go. The service is always nice, the place is kept so clean, the bathrooms are kept up. Now, if you want healthy food, this is not the place for you. This is a great greasy chili (yum) burger place and there is not one thing that is not fantastic. We usually dine in, but this time we got our order to go and it was perfect, exactly as ordered and still warm. It is just super fun.

Really good place. Didn’t mind the burger and it was a for a good price. Friendly people and made quickly. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star was because I ordered the cheese fries, however it didn’t seem like they grated cheese it seems like they put a piece of cheese over the fries and put it in the microwave. 06/19/2022: Hubby was jonesing for a Tommy burger since we were in SoCal, so we went to find one. This location was great. There was a little line, but it's totally worth the wait. He had a combo #1 - double Cheeseburger and fries. I had the chili- cheese dog with fries. We ordered diet sodas, but the manager gave us regular ones instead. I corrected him, and he was quick to correct our drinks. The food came up quickly, nice and hot. Servings are huge, so be prepared to get stuffed!

Tommy’s has some of the best chili around! No beans! I always get the chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries. The burgers and fries without chili are really only just OK. If you are a chili burger lover tho, you will LOVE this place. Also , we love the pickles! Sorta small fast food joint, not a ton of seating. Beware tho, you may be in the bathroom the next day for a while. But it’s so good so it’s probably worth it.

This is another Southern California fast food institution that I am going to miss when I move out of California. For lunch this day I ordered a chili cheese burger, chili fries and a large drink. Everything was delicious and filling albeit a bit messy. Luckily they gave me plenty of napkins.

But the last few times I've been to this location, I have seen the drive through service has definitely improved my orders have been correct and the ladies have been great!

I rarely put reviews lower than 3 stars but after trying Tommy's hamburgers 3 times and regretting it each time, I have to come clean. I no longer will come here because of Mauro. I saw a promotion for $2.99 chili cheese fries. I ordered via drive through and was charged full price. I paid with my credit card, but thought it was strange. Turns out that you have to mention the deal to get $2.99 chili cheese fries. I mentioned to Mauro about the deal. Mauro’s response caused me to never come back. He said he couldn’t refund me the difference and there was nothing he could do. It was black and white to him. I told her it wasn't made the way I ordered it. I felt so awful with the way she treated me I just got my money back after a big hassle. I can't understand how a person like that can be a manager on duty. Customers deserve to be treated with respect. That happened on Thursday evening and I will never come back to this location.
