If you like Sonic the food here is pretty good. The tots are good! I don't love the hot dogs. Costco hot dogs are better.
Always a great place, especially during their happy hours, for drinks.
Delivery was fast. Food is good. I had just gotten out of the hospital and had to pick up my dog. That's what I do. If I've been gone, he gets a chicken sandwich. Grilled chicken sandwich. He loves them. I am on disability so I need to be careful where my money goes. It's a bit expensive for my budget but the food is good.

Great burgers . The A/C for the building leaks condensation all over the Van Accessible handicap spot , which is inconveniently positioned to back out . Sonic in texas loves to inflict that . Staff/service/food are great, order was accurate for ingredients temperature etc Polite staff
Had to update my review because this was probably my best sonic experience in a very long time. Trinity the young lady that took and delivered my order was very nice, but most of all the food came out VERY fast and with a SMILE. Keep this up sonic!
I love Sonic! Customer service at the Hutto location is excellent! Food is good! Love their burgers and tator tots are my favorite! And can't go wrong with their cherry limeades! But one thing I notice that their tenders and toast is not like it use to be. I guess they changed it. The tenders are not crispy and the toast that comes with the tender dinner is super dry. Bring back the original tender basket dinner! Please?
If u want a great customized meal/drink/treat with personable service; this is the place! Awesome staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful! Lot, patio and picnic table area clean, well-lit & maintained. Complaints met swiftly with cheerful, eager-to-please attitude. Best Li'l Sonic in Texas !!
Just moved to town. We always had a bad experience at the sonic in our last town. I was nervous going but I was pleasantly surprised. Great service and the food was perfect. Delicious meat patties, melty cheese, great tenderness/crunch ratio on the bacon. Tots we're nice and crunchy. My strawberry lemonade was PERFECT. And my husbands mango slushee was soooo good. Overall, extremely impressed. Service was timely and friendly. We've returned several times and we haven't had a complaint yet!
Food was great. My drink was forgotten, but Renae was very sweet, attentive, and will to fix the situation. I thank Raenae and her crew for the great service. You all have a great night.
I saw some of the negative reviews and I share that sentiment about almost every other sonic I've been to in the past 20 years. Having said that, I don't feel that way about this one. I only come during normal work hours on weekdays so can't speak to anything outside of those times. This sonic is probably one of the best fast food spots in the area. Food is always hot, well prepared, packaged with care, includes requested condiments, and the car hop that always brings my food out literally gets me motivated to start my day. She is courteous, efficient, seems to appreciate her customers and job, is upbeat and personable, I can keep going but you get the point. This is the only sonic I go to willingly. If there is a drop in service outside of the times I come then sonic would do well to take a close look at this day crew and do everything they can to replicate on evenings and weekends. I can't remember the car hops name as I never remember names but the store knows the person I'm talking about. Whoever is preparing the food needs to be commended also. If either leave I wouldn't be coming back unless they figure out a way to clone these persons before they leave :)
Well. Well. Well. I have to be honest. I did not have high expectations after my experiences at other local Sonics but boy was I in for a shock. Service was prompt, friendly and accurate. Between the order guy and the delivery person, they read my order back to me 3 times. Then food came out super quick and it was right, it was hot and it was very good. It actually looked like the actual menu picture. Got us a good one here in hutto! Yum!

Idk if it's consistent because it was my first time here but I had the best tots and fries in my life. It was perfectly crispy and fresh. Please keep up the good work!
Always great service at a reasonable price. I love stopping here after work and getting a drink for the ride home and no better place then sonic, and if you have the app you only pay 1/2 price which makes it even better.
First time here Thursday evening and it was AMAZING! Service by Lex, the server was Amazing! He was professional, knowledgeable, funny, and easy going! He made our first time experience the best experience we’ve ever had in a restaurant! The Pork Chops really surprised me with its load of flavor and juicy tenderness 🤤. Drinks were top of the line as well! Thank you LEX!! Hope to see you next time!
Normally very good food and service. This time I think it was rushed, I ordered mozz sticks and they weren't crispy like normal and not all that hot, kind of chewy and warm. But very friendly service and amazing cherry coke as always.
Definitely not a fast food restaurant if you want fast food! I ordered my food on the mobile app and it still took 20 minutes to get my food AND it was wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to go back nor did I call to make it right on my side. I am only giving this 4 stars instead of 2 because the staff were so kind and apologetic.
This has been a mainstay for my family. But the owners don't repair broken booths and they loose every good employee after a couple weeks, maybe it's the low pay but it's just too hot or miss now.
People at this location are very kind. The only slightly negative thing here that I have observed is they use small paper straws...for milkshakes...with oreos and other chunky bits. It is a workout for your mouth and there is no spoon to save you from this...also they fall apart easily. Everything else though, 😁
Bertha is amazing!! She is always so nice and friendly and brings out my order quickly. 5 stars for her. However whenever I go there, there seems to be the same woman with curly hair sitting outside on her phone, not working. I’ve seen her sit outside or walk around aimlessly on her phone when several people are waiting in the lot. I’m not sure what her job is, but it’s clear she’s consistently not doing it.
Food seemed tasty, as expected. Only knocked off starts because originally asked for some specific condiments with order, then they were not in sacks. When red button pushed and i asked for them, the person said "I got you", but no one ever brought items.
Was a good a expected, although I arrived at a busy time the wait wasn't really that long. Once I ordered the food arrived much faster than I expected, even with the small alterations I had to the burgers. The fries weren't as hot and fresh as they normally are. But overall it was good they were friendly apologized about the wait, even though I didn't thick it was long.
I got the classic strawberry shake and it was delicious. My 3 year old daughter really enjoys their tater tots. The service is quick, but weekday lunch rushes tend to be the very busy. So if you only have a 30 minute lunch break you may want to consider a different restaurant as it has taken up to 20-25 minutes to collect my food after parking, that includes a 5-7 minute wait after pushing the red button to place my order.
What you would expect from a fast food joint
Mozzarella sticks were cold and why do I have to ask for marinara? I guess this is a pretty small sample, I have had good food here before.
They can never get an order right the first time. They didn't ring up half my order and messed up my drinks. I would give them 2 stars but the carhop I had fixed everything extremely fast and didn't complain about it. Kudos to the carhop, the restaurant on the other hand, I will not be going to back to it again.
It's a Sonic... They're all pretty much the same. The frozen treats are always delicious however this time the chocolate milk shake my daughter ordered was 'over-chocolatey.'. We pretty much stay away from the fast food items as there are much better fast food chains that do the same products better, but their peach tea and ice cream desserts are usually worth the trip
Sonic makes a good burger, and we enjoy the occasional happy hour. However, this location frequently gets orders wrong and has extremely long wait times. Having lived here a long time, it is just expected. But with new restaurants opening in the area, this sonic will have to step up its game if it wants to survive.
Grabbed a late breakfast at this Sonic location. The staff was friendly and there were no issues placing the order. However the taste of the breakfast burrito I ordered was not great. I might try them again in a pinch, but they won't be my first choice.
I completely understand and don't mind waiting for my order during the busy lunch rush crowd. I ordered 3 large cheese sticks with 1 milkshake, 1 fountain soda, and 4 slushes. The order took over 15 minutes to be brought out. Immediately I noticed we were missing one drink which was the Vanilla Dr. Pepper fountain drink. The car hopper said she would be right back with the missing drink. Another 7-8 minutes goes by so press the red button and wait and wait and wait no response. So I decided I'll drive around and go through the drive through to see if someone can make me my vanilla Dr. Pepper since I paid for it and it wasn't happy hour prices. Who knew it would take 25 minutes to finally get my missing drink brought out to me. Disappointed in the time and original car hopper. Do not plan to revisit this location again.
I wish they were better. I love a blue raspberry Sprite Zero like nothing else and it’s the only place to get one. When sonic is working well (Kira is especially amazing!) then it’s great. When it takes 20+ minutes for a just drink order that was submitted through the mobile app under “ASAP” it feels misleading. They’ve improved on how often they remember the Marinara packets with mozzarella sticks but it’s still about 50/50. The other reason they lost a star is how often the app doesn’t work at the location but works at the down the road sonic. Not sure what is up there but it’s so frustrating :( maybe one day it’ll be a bit better
Due to a bad experience my daughter actually had at another sonic location it has been very,very, VERY hard for me to return to ANY sonic. After staying clear for about 2.5 years I told myself nothing could be wrong with the corn dogs or any other item that is fried. So thats what I will order. Can't go wrong with a corn dog. I wish I was able to enjoy their drinks again like the cherry limeade. Wow does that bring back the old high years. But for now, if at all, only frozen food that is taken from the freezer to the fryer for me.
Nostalgia Car Hop service food handed to you at your window. Sonic continues to use timeless service practices into the mix keeping the feel of yesteryear. In Fast Food there are 2 things customers look forward to. Quick Service and Good Food. Packaging was great. Branding nostalgic with the Custom Brown Sonic Bag. Swing in after 5:00 on Tuesday as Sonic continues their timeless 1/2 price Cheeseburger Specials its a cant miss for the budget minded family to this day. ☆☆☆
Came for a chili dog. The bun was breaking up like 3 day old bread and hardly any chili. Just a smear. Order did come quickly and the car hop was friendly. Please, let’s just stop being stingy with the chili.
I give this location 2 stars because it was exceptionally busy when we went, and we did not have to wait long for our order to be taken or brought out to us. However, we were told the ice cream machine was broken when we were clearly seeing other customers receiving ice cream and additionally they forgot items on our order.
Kinda bummed here. Love sonic. Pulled up and opened the app. It said temporarily out of service. Pressed the call button and asked whether we still get the app discount. NO. SORRY. Moving on then..... Really wanted my limeade and Mozzarella sticks 😪
Even at their best how many stars can you really give Sonic? With that said this was not them at their best. I ordered a burger combo with a large Diet Coke instead I got a medium regular Coke. The burger itself clearly had been made and sitting for awhile before it was given to me... And the cherry cheesecake blast that I ordered came to me as some kind of chocolate candy blast. But then again it's Sonic.... like any fast food place it's about 50-50 whether or not you'll actually get what you ordered. And if anyone from Sonic is reading this bring back the deep fried burrito with chili and cheese.
I had to wait 10 minutes to order my food, then another 15 minutes for our food. When we got the food it was barely warm because the cheese wasn't melted. I like Sonic for breakfast but this location needs some help.
Besides the happy hour on drinks. Im pretty disappointed with the quality of food I ordered the jumbo chicken and a large tater tots. The chicken was hard and crunchy it had no freshness to it what so ever, the tatter tots were okay but very over salted. No I wouldn't recommend this location.
Ive been to this location twice on my way to work and both times my order has been wrong. It's too late to do anything about it when I get to work. I even tried placing my order through the app the 2nd time so they could just read exactly what I wanted and they still get it wrong.
Unbelievably slow and unapologetic. Waited 20 minutes for 2 sodas and 2 small Sonic Blasts. They had promptly cleared my info off of the kiosk. App said it would take 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, I pushed the red call/mic button and asked if they’d forgotten my order. They asked my name and said ‘we’ll bring it out now.’ No apology or explanation. There were 3 other cars parked waiting for orders. The only people getting their food were going through the drive-thru line and that wasn’t fast either. This location used to be good but this is the 2nd time that I’ve needed to wait an insanely long time. I’ll drive to the next location next time.
2024 update. This place had gone down, way down. Went to get a drink, and the person bringing them out looked like she was not happy to be there. Taste of the snack I got with the drinks, trash! Won't be going here again. Nothing like a free gift evey now and then, great tasting burger. I have not eaten a burger form Sonic in years, and today I bought a drink and I got one at no cost to me. It was pretty good overall, and really fresh.
Placed order on the app, for ASAP and headed to the location. Was less than 5 minutes. Email confirmation on order placed at 8:08 PM, pulled into stall at 8:13.Parked, told app i was there and stall number, waited 20 minutes, and in that time, 3 employees just sitting talking to friends in parking lot and another was in the restroom for 15 minutes (same one who brought my order to the car). I get it, employees get breaks. My milkshakes were more like flavored milk, and my hot food was cold. Felt like they made my order ASAP as requested, and didn’t have enough clocked in employees to run my order out? Same thing happened last time and I stopped coming for a long time, now I remember why.
Giving them 2 stars for the quality of the food received, but the problems I had yesterday and their solutions were pretty abysmal! Ordered food for 4, they repeated the order correctly, everything on screen was right but then we got the food. Wife's burger was made wrong, so we hit the button and waited about 8 minutes to explain and hear "we will have that right out!".... about 15 minutes later, we hit the button again to ask what the holdup was since it was just one single burger we were waiting on - they apologized and said 'we will start making that now'. Meanwhile, my 12 year old had his appointment for his covid vaccination, so my wife, son, and mother in law leave to start the paperwork, while I kept waiting... about 15 more minutes pass (about an hour waiting on them to replace one burger and time was running out - my son desperately wanted me there because he was scared to get his shot) SOOO I hit the button yet again, this time they ask me to repeat what the burger was, what was on it, etc - because they had no record of it! I asked them to just give me 10$ gift card so I can leave already and they go check with their manager.... meanwhile the assistant manager comes walking out, takes down the order of what was supposedly being made 3x now and managed to get it done in about 3 minutes! That was awesome, but after spending an hour waiting around with time ticking down, the blatant disregard for helping me the first 3 times, they give me two tokens for free medium drinks smh... woo-hoo, an hour of my time wasted due to their incompetence was worth about 4$ to them? Feels like insult added to injury, but that one assistant manager was awesome... their organization and effectiveness? 1/10
Poor service. First I was at the drive-thru waiting and no one attended up. Pulled up to the side of the building and still no service. The 2 employees that had headsets were outside chilling with the employees from Chuy's. Took them a while to stop socializing before they started taking my order.
Their Customer Service is pretty decent. Unfortunately I’ve had more bad interactions here than good ones. Today I ordered the BBQ Jumbo popcorn Chicken & as you can see, there’s almost no sauce at all. I’ve given this place a lot of chances, since I grew up with this franchise. But I think after today I will look for other options. I don’t recommend this Sonic.
Ordered chocolate Oreo blast as pictures on the display. Shows up with white ice cream. I send it back and ask if it is supposed to have more chocolate and they send it right back out as is saying that they did put the chocolate sauce in it. It’s pure white ice cream. The ad made me want it and they failed on a pretty simple process to deliver. Also wife got a strawberry shake instead of the strawberry cheesecake shake she ordered. Cmon guys.
Ordered 2 sodas through drive through and we waited 25 minutes for them. Should have just went elsewhere but I had already invested so much time.
Omgoodness! The app wasn't working. We then tried to order through the speaker and the employee kept asking the same questions over and over. When we got towards the end, they ran out of smaller patties so we had to order something else. HE CLEARED OUT THE WHOLE ORDER AND WE HAD TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Then, the order was incorrect. We were missing half our order.
Every single time I've been here they mess up my order and take too long. I'm a person that will let it go as to not cause conflict. Well I finally got tired of it and told them they got my order wrong. Didn't apologize, brought it back, it was still wrong. Called them again, still no apology and fixed one part of the order. Too much of a hassle to call again so I just left. Never spending my money there again. Just plain ridiculous!
Online said it closes at midnight but after sitting for 15 min from 1045p to 1058p, the young girl turns the lights off and then comes on and tells everyone the place is closed. Definitely need older managers running the place, especially on the weekends. Also, the actual hours of operation should be updated on the website. The ONLY reason why we stopped here is because it said they were open.
I took a sip of my cheesecake milkshake and it tasted like stomach acid. I'm not exaggerating. It looked like they put ice cream on top of yellow liquid. I nearly threw up in my car. Every time I come here they mess up my order, but trying to poison me is where I draw the line.
We waited 30 minutes for our order to come out. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong kind of sandwich. They said they would have the correct one right out. We waited another 25 minutes and then asked to see the manager. He thought it had already come out and assured us it would only be another 5 minutes. It has been another 10 minutes and we are still waiting.
This place is so unbelievably slow I drive the the round rock sonic when I'm closer to the hutto location. They took 15 minutes to get me two drinks once. Drinks. Its been like this for ages either it's management or somthing else going on but it's bad.
Came in for a drink and a cup of ice! I sat waiting for 15 mins watching car after car leave through the drive thru. I literally had to ask where my order was! Ridiculous! It was not busy and I didn’t get an apology, nothing! I got “Ill bring you your drink”….. ok! Thanks! Pretty sure I paid for that to happen 15 mins ago! Even the person taking the order was cold! Won’t get another dime from me! Thought I would try again tonight and it looks like the place needs a babysitter for all the kids in and out. Didn’t see one adult and the kid who took my order was his awful!
Placed an order through the app. Waited 35 minutes for my order. Pressed the bottom two times after I checked in. Girl told me it would be right out. Mind you it was only a drink and cheese sticks. Finally get my order after asking a third time about it. Comes out.. food was cold and drink was watered down. So disappointed. Won't be back to this local.
We sat in a stall for 22 minutes after ordering, we pressed the button again and were told they were working on it. After sitting 10 more minutes we left. We were going to pay cash, if we had already paid with credit who onows how much longer we would have to wait
Went to stall 26, waited about 10 mins after i pushed the red button and got no response to push it again. Waited another 10 mins, still nothing. I decided to try the drive thru. Waited in that line for another 20 mins. In that time, i watched another vehicle pull into the stall i was in and he seemed frustrated with the same so i got out of my car and walked to him and told him i waited there too so he left as well. I was going to tell whoever came out with our order that the stall wasnt working or they were doing a good job of ignoring it. Watched idk how many other orders come out before mine, some larger and some smaller. At least 5 orders came to my window that werent ours. I finally just left. 40 mins collectively waited for food and left empty handed. Nice. We went to mcdonalds and sadly we got our food in about 15 mins.
The last 3-4 times we’ve come, each time took literally 30-60 min to get our food. The employees are rude but that’s honestly probably because they’re stressed out. It’s too bad. My children love the pretzels but we won’t be back.
Ordered a few drinks, one of them was wrong, told the carhop who delivered them that one of them was wrong, as she goes back to "correct" it she yells "Oh my F×@$×* God!" I told the manager that was definitely uncalled for and wrong on all levels! She didn't not have to use that language at all for any reason. This Sonic truly needs a whole new management staff! And as far as the employees, I'm sorry for the good hard working ones that do work as if they are working for the Lord, but some of them do need discipline. You shall never use the Lord's name in vain.
You've been warned! - Don't go here if you expect great customer service and your order to be correct!. And do not call the store and speak with Venus Parsons the GM at this location. She's very defensive from the start and doesn't feel her manager Miranda can do anything wrong. The all need a reality check. The carhops are the ONLY positive at this location. I've had to call and go back to this location due to my order being incorrect MANY times. Each time I was made to feel it was my fault. They will NEVER see another penny of my money. At least McDonald's managers and supervisors have enough respect to look you in the face while they are screwing you - unlike Sonic! - STAY AWAY!
They've gotten my order wrong a couple of times. I went yesterday because they were having cheeseburgers at half price. Pushed the button, someone said, "I'm sorry, we're having issues with the.... (couldn't hear)" but they were busy so we waited. A couple of minutes later we pushed the button again. And nothing. No one came out to help us. Just completely ignored so we left.
36 min to get one drink. Watched a guy walking the parking lot trying to figure out where an order went. Then car in front of me at drive through order was wrong. I make it to front of line and girl walks up with 2 meals. Nope not mine. Then another guy comes up and tries to give me the order that the car in front of me should have got. Completely unorganized. Horrible service. Up to 40 min waiting for a drink.
Horrible customer service. Waited 20 min no food out. Called again and they took my order again. I guess they didn’t take my order first time. The person who took my order first time had a horrible attitude. I left and didn’t get my food. I was so mad. I wish I could give 0 not even 1 star.
The face that this location doesnt show up on Sonic's website is very telling. Horrible service!!! My food was cold and I had no condiments. I even asked if they were in the bag and the person who bought out my order barely came back to listen and said they are in the bag as she walked away. I called to talk to the manager and spoke with Christy. She was was dismissive and didn't care about the fact that the service/food was bad! This location is horrible!!!
Showed up before 10 pm the website and every other sonic says they close at 11. We sat there since 945 and at 955 I finally tapped the glass and pointed to my car. They lady answered in a sassy tone and said that they close in 3 minute's and that they have a limited menu. Either update your time and get employees who won't ignore you until you "close". So disappointing
They get our order wrong often, this last time they even ordered it correctly and got my pregnant wife's order wrong again. After reaching out to corporate about a week ago, we STILL have yet to hear a thing from them. Really the last time I will eat at sonic. There are too many places that have good burgers and that value customer service, to accept mediocre service from a major chain like this. In and Out burger is almost done being built. I look forward to it...
Sitting in the drive thru line for the second time as I write this. We initially parked at a stall but after 7 minutes with no answer (granted they were busy and we were completely understanding of that) decided to go through the drive thru. We watched the person in front of us order then as we pulled up... nothing. No response at all for 10-12 minutes. We kept inching forward wondering if the buzzer wasn't picking us up. We then pulled completely forward going to just catch someone. Then the lady behind us ordered. After flagging someone down and being told to "maybe go to a stall; it'll be quicker"... we went back through the drive thru where after almost 35 minutes we finally got our 2 beverages. I worked at sonic for 3 years so I'm a pretty calm customer but that was ridiculous and the lack of concern when we approached the carhop about the situation was lackluster. Disappointed but not angry.
Wow yeah I've never written a review on a fast food restaurant but the employees are just not able to handle their job. Case in point on September 13th at 1230 I ordered a number 5 and asked if there was an up charge for adding onion rings so the guy uses a number 1 meal so that he can test how much the up charge was and then gives me a 17.09 total and once I saw it I tried to say something but he was in a hurry and hung up on the speaker so I pressed the red button and waited another 5 minutes. I told home what the issue was with him adding the extra meal to my total and he screwed up again because he gave me a total for a large combo that I never asked for. I corrected him and once my order came out he gave me a soft drink with ice when I originally requested no ice. This is the worst sonic and the worst fast food restaurant I've ever been to. It's horrible! Avoid this Hutto location.
Called order in at 5 till 1 today... Got to your store pushed button... Waited 10 minutes pushed button again... Finally after about 15 minutes got food.. Butter was decent... Fries were barely warm... Was eating . Got a couple of fries.. Pulled a brown hair about a foot long from fries in my mouth.... C'mon this is bad..I work right behind your location and eat there several times a week..... No more.. Will go to DQ from now on... Between show service and hair in food...not happy
Clearly says online y’all are open until 12 AM. Started to order at 11:10 and someone came on saying they’re closed. Fix the hours on Google… I literally checked to see if you were open and drove all the way across town because it was one of the only things open. Dairy Queen for the win I guess.
Me and my girlfriend came around 8:20 to get Half off shakes. Didn’t receive Shake into 8:50. Shake came out warm and watery. Had to have Shake remade highly disappointed.
Am extremely disappointed in Sonic , at HIutto TX location! Their food is always delicious but ran into a horrific issue.. As a Manager brought my order to my vehicle she smelled animal like and unwashed, the oder was overwhelming !!! It’s a shame Sonic has employees with this issues representing them! After this incident I completely lost my appetite and could not eat a bite.. I no longer go to the Hutto TX location for that reason.. Comon people you all co workers, customers etc have to smell her too! Sonic can’t be that desperate to hire employees with extremely hygiene issues and not to mention have them serve us (Customers)!!! Is that what we customers mean to Sonic? Or what we deserve? Sonic you can do so much better!!!!!!! SMD
We drove in through the drive through and the workers kept passing by us. They totally forgot about our order and still charged us. They gave us 2 tokens for a free drink instead of telling us that our food was free. Perhaps if my skin color was different than than they would have noticed us.
You don't want to eat or get a drink at this location. I ordered a ice tea unsweetened and when I got home,it was a coke. I asked the girl to go get me some napkins and ketchup and waited ten minutes and she never brought me what I asked for.. this is the second time I have gotten bad service from this location. The first time we stopped in for onion rings and drinks. We waited 30 minutes and nobody showed up with our order. When I tried to get them ,no body would answer. This is the last time I ever stop at this location and employees don't give a dam. I will go to dairy Queen or top notch down the street going forward..I will also tell people on Facebook and tick tock and at my job to not go to your.location.
I bit into my ched r' pepper and it was so hot it burned me so I opened my mouth which allowed it to fall on my chest and burn me again, this time leaving a scar. Then it fell to my thigh, but fortunately my clothing kept me from getting burned.
The associate is very careless and untrusted.l’m Uber eats driver and when I have double ordered , the associate gives me both drinks in one carrier without the name on and they just tell you this for this. What I happened was I just trusted her what she told me and after I completed the order, the customer told me that was wrong and I bought that drink for him like that was free service 😬 please the associate be responsible and be careful for your customers ,give the drink and the food separately if you have more than one order!!!!
We ordered at 5:51. There were four other cars there. We ordered a flavored water, a soda, and a slush. Two cars parked next to us, ordered, got food and drinks and left. It had been over ten mins, the screen told us it was on the way but no one came. I pressed the button and let them know no one came. They said yea, it’s on the way. They came at 6:08. It took 17 mins to get a soda, a water, and a slush. I paid $10 to sit for 20 mins for a drink.
Spent over 20 minutes waiting here after checking in. Our order came out wrong (missing one item) and one of the drinks were flat. Took 5 minutes to get the missing item and I have them back the flat drink to replace with something else. Another 10 minutes (and 3 red button pushes later) and the replacement drink never came. We just left. Never coming back.
Ordered 2 drinks. Only 3 cars here after 20 minutes. We had to stop one of the carhops to ask for our drinks. The car hop a girl walking around looking lost with no urgency. Finally 10 minutes later we got our drinks. Total of 30 minutes.
I've been hear a few times recently and have yet to receive my order correctly. Ordered a large popcorn chicken, got a small with none of the sauces I paid extra for. I ask for easy ice (very little ice for those who work there and don't know) I get a cup full of ice, literally. Top to bottom. Doesn't seem like a big deal until you get two sips in and your drink is gone. "We want $15/hr" crew can't get anything right.
We love Sonic and the deals we get through the app and the deals they run in general. But, there has been two times that we don’t get everything we ordered. We have to call and go back to the store. There’s no compensation they can give you for your trouble but a drink token for a free drink. Today, the manager on duty was very rude in her tone of voice and the words she used when she spoke to me. Please double, triple check your orders so your customers do not have to drive back to get what was forgotten because by the time you get back home, your food is cold.
I guess Sonic is no longer aware that they're real. Fruit drinks come with real fruit. Ordered a cherry limeade slush with cherries and limes. Asked if there was any fruit inside. She said I don't know. Then went inside and brought back just limes no cherries. I didn't have time to wait for the cherries so I didn't bother asking. But just so you guys know, your cherry limeade comes with cherries and limes. Okay second time I went to this location again no real fruit. This time I escalated my concern with the sonic customer support. They sent me a coupon that requires a purchase to use it. What a joke. But hey This location must be saving loads of money on not giving fruit. Good job manager way to save your bottom line and turn away your customers. Oh yea and the fries I got were old and cold.
I sat for over 30 minutes just to have my order taken, I ordered cheese tots and a drink, the sweet tea taste like they used the the sink water the tots were rock hard and had zero cheese on them. The service was slow and disrespectful. This sonic has lost all of respect and I won't be returning. I suggest you don't go to this location if you actually want a good sonic meal go anywhere else.
I had a very frustrating experience at this Sonic due a server named Monique. Not only was my food brought out cold, but my drink order was also completely wrong. When I politely asked Monique to change the drink, she was incredibly rude and flat-out refused to fix the mistake. It’s disappointing to receive both poor food quality and such dismissive, unprofessional service. I hope management takes steps to address this, as I won't be coming back to this location if this is how customers are treated.
This sonic was trash thay had us waiting 10 minutes and they messed up my order to dont go here.
Ordered my food no problem even though i could barely hear them waited like 10 to 15 minutes and they never came out to charge my card or give me my food definitley wont comw here again after seeing an employee with the door open on her phone instead of working
I just went to Sonic in Hutto and waited over 15 minutes for a small mozzarella cheese sticks and a small coke. There were only two cars, including mine, in the parking lot at 9:40pm on a Monday night. I finally left without my order because I couldn’t wait any longer. Then, as I am backing out to leave, an employee in a blue shirt is walking by. I try to get his attention to tell him. In a normal voice, I said “Sir”. I said it about three times but he couldn’t hear me because I am guessing he had AirPods in. I even tried shouting “Sir”. No response. The guy was about 20 feet from me. Friends, this is customer service in 2025!!!
Make employees stop swiping the orders off the expo if they’re not physically taking it out!!!!! Every time we come to this sonic we end up waiting over 20 minutes for our online order and watching other drivers get served before us despite pulling up way later. The employees are “completing” the order and forgetting about it. When we do get our food and drinks they’re melted and cold because they’ve been sitting out. I literally always have to get out and ask an employee where our food is. It’s insane
This place is the worst Sonic in Central Texas. The orders are wrong more often than they are correct. The place is in bad need of an upgrade because the intercom never works and the touchscreens are just as bad. Finally, the portions are a joke. Never enough in the orders. The picture speaks for itself. Update: well, I did as the sonic representative/bot recommended and I did go on the website and submit a report and I have heard nothing back. Appears as though Sonic has some automatic reply bot that looks for reviews and auto generates a response. Only good thing about sonic? Their ice.
Waited 30 min for food to come out and they got it wrong. Brought it to their attention and the said they will send one out. 30 min later no sandwich so called the manager. Explained the situation and he said he would refund the check and bring out our sandwich...still waiting. No clue what the issue is but it is not the quality I expect from Sonic...don't go here.
