This really is a nice Denny's and I have been to many. Inside it was clean and bright. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. I tried the new stuffed French Toast and Strawberries. That was very good and not overly sweet.

Our server was excellent! We have come for breakfast several times and got to know Juan! He is always on point with his service and conversations! We get some good laughs! That is one of the main reasons we come to this Denny’s, the atmosphere is great!! The food is always good! Next time you come sit in Juan’s area!!!!

I travel from Los Angeles once or twice a month. I have been having dinner here for almost 3 years. Most of the time Cain has been my server. He always greets myself and other customers with a smile. He has always gone above and beyond. The food is always delicious kudos to Cain and the Denny’s staff in El Centro Ca.

For me? It was another fantastic visit at the spot. For the most part I feel that we were taken care of in a very timely manner. We are not picky eaters. We are not ones that change the menu. We don’t ask for special treatment. Maybe some light music turned a little higher? Otherwise it was a very standard Dennys visit.

We eat at this Denny's a lot, but this Friday night was especially bad. We pulled in and we were surprised at how full the parking lot was. In spite of that, we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered our food and then we waited. And waited. And waited. It took at least 30 minutes before our food was brought to our table. In my opinion, the reason the parking lot was busy was due to the slow service. When it was time to leave we hit another bottle neck. The young man running the cash register was trying hard, but it was still backing up. The food was typical Denny's. We were feeding our two grandsons and we were taking advantage of the kids eat free promo.

The food was excellent, we were seated relatively fast for a Saturday morning. The staff was nice, but honestly distracted. There were no napkins offered other than the one that came with the silverware. We had an accident with the coffee and it took me walking over to a staff member to get help. When they helped they used a few napkins and left a few for the table (we asked for a cloth, and they had none available) honestly love this restaurant, but our experience today was not great. Sorry.

order said ready but when I went in I had to wait another 17 minutes. I don't understand why put it as ready when it wasnt ready

Pulled at 11pm on 12/8/25 with no guests in the restaurant and the employees were gathered around the kitchen talking, they saw me pull up and they made an upset face and rolled their eyes. If you don’t want to work then might as well just quit and allow someone the opportunity to actually want to work there and enjoy what they do. I gladly went to the one and Ocotillo drive in which they provided excellent service with the food on point. Don’t waste your time here, as the service as you can tell is super poor. Might as well close the restaurant early so that the employees can be happy.

Had dinner here last night, and unfortunately, my wife got sick after eating the buffalo boneless chicken, which turned out to be undercooked. Very disappointing and concerning, food safety should be a top priority. I’ve filed a complaint with Denny’s corporate. Hope this location takes it seriously.
