Opinions de Kin Ha Isla Mujeres
We stopped while exploring the island on a golf cart. Kin-Ha is not far from Punta Sur and a little out of the way. You can get there easily by golf cart or taxi. It’s a pretty big place but there wasn’t a ton of parking. It’s a pretty unique place and family friendly. There were large pools, access to the ocean, swings and ropes to swing into the ocean and I believe some kayaks to use while you are there. The tables look out to the ocean and it’s a gorgeous view. It’s free to use their facilities if you buy food and drinks, I believe there is a minimum per person. We ended up ordering the shrimp skewers. They weren’t bad but a little pricey. The shrimp were cooked well and the portion size was decent. We didn’t really swim here, we were just passing through. This isn’t a destination for food but it’s a neat spot if you need something to do. The food prices are worth it if you want to spend some time here. The service was slow so don’t come if you are in a hurry.
Went here 3 times. Nice food, more on the expensive side but you get to use all the facilities (pool, ocean, kayaks) so it makes sense. Our favorite was the crispy shrimp tacos. The lady at the front tried to sell us a daypass which we didnt want. A really nice waiter swooped in for the rescue and said we can have a seat. Overall loved the place, would highly recommend it. Great way to have good food and ocean access.
Awesome Experience. Reserved 5 chairs for the family the day before to ensure we got loungers (would recommend). Service was consistent as our guy always checked in on us. Food was decent, but due to the small size of the beach club, it never felt crowded. You have access to 2 pools, 1 with water slide for kids and one that has tables in the pool for casual cervesas. We ended up coming back a few times. Also watching sunset from this spot was great
What a nice experience Gabriel our server was amazing he was very attentive and great attitude always with a smile in his face. And karla very nice at the entrance very friendly gave us answers to all our questions. So they charge you 500 pesos entry per person but they give you back 400 pesos back each as credit for drinks/food. They can make lobster tikin xic style which is a very old Mayan recipe it was very good and interesting flavor I would recommend to everyone. Also the lobster is fresh they take you to choose it from a cage, when they still alive and they cook for you in the moment depending the weight the price. Also you are able to use their aquatic sports equipment like kayakin, paddle and snorkel which they close at 6pm the downstairs deck with all activities aquatic activities. The pools remain open. I recommend also if u want to have a good time at night bring some mosquito repellent.
Kin Ha is such a nice place! I had breakfast there then stayed for the afternoon to swim and paddle board and it was so great! The waiters were so nice and quickly brought me whatever I needed. The portions were generous so you will not leave hungry. The view was beautiful, water was crystal clear and the sun chairs were very comfortable. It was easy to grab a taxi right outside the door when it was time to go.
I have gone here many times in the last couple years, nice pool, good food and great view. The greatest asset though was the waiter, Chewie! Chewie is attentive, funny and conversational. He is absolutely the best! He takes the whole experience to the next level. When you go to Kin Ha, make sure you ask for Chewie for an all around great experience!
Amazing service! Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. You don’t find people this dedicated every day. I’ll definitely be coming back and telling my friends to check them out! Make sure ask for “Chewie” you won’t be disappointed.
Gabriel was our server beachside and he was so very attentive and friendly. This is a great location with plenty of amenities if you want a resort-style feel to your day. We enjoyed the generous pour on the drinks and especially loved the escape from the wind as this location is west side of the island and a great choice for an escape from the natural elements on the not so nice windy-weather days.
Adrian was our server the two mornings we came here for breakfast, and let me tell you that he was one of the friendliest waiters we’ve ever had! The food tastes delicious, although it could be a little spicier. I love the photo op swings in the water! If you’re not staying at the neighboring hotel, I believe entrance to the waterfront and activities is reasonably priced. We can’t wait to come back soon!
Great beach club to visit while spending the day on Isla Mujeres. Costs 500 pesos to get in, but you get 400 of that towards drinks. Lots of good seats at the water's edge and amazing clarity in the calm water. Equipment for kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling are available to use as well as a long pier to jump from or swing from. Great spot! We didn't eat there, so I can't say how the food would be.
We visited Kim Ha twice during our week stay on Isla and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves both times. The manager was kind enough to waive our day pass fee as long as we promised to consume food and drinks (which we easily did). Moises was our service and he was so kind and helpful! We spent 4-5 hours each day there and Moises was so patient with us while we ordered or went down to the water to swim. We used the pools, the dock for jumping, their snorkeling equipment and also their stand up paddle board equipment. It was a great time all around and we even ran into some people that we met at gaff-a-whatever park who we recommended follow us to Kin Ha since the gaff-a-whatever park was such a major let down. I will recommend Kin Ha time and time again for their friendly service, good prices and awesome atmosphere!
We spent the day at Kin Ha Isla Mujeres Beach and it was everything we needed and more. The setting is stunning, with easy access to kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling right off the shore. What truly made the experience stand out was our server, Angel. His warmth and attentive care didn’t just make us feel welcome. His kindness radiated. The food and drinks were excellent. The shrimp tacos were crispy, sweet perfection, and I’m still thinking about the Carajillo, my favorite cocktail. I also loved starting the day with a fresh fruit plate and green juice. Highly recommend for a chill beach day with great food, good energy, and standout service. Ask for Angel if you can,he’s a gem.
I may be ruining the secret, but this place is a gem. Best price to service level and quality of amenities. Not your standard sit down restaurant, you pay for a couple of lounge chairs, get most of the cost credited in food and drinks... the resulting experience is magical. Included are paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling masks and tubes. The dock is amazing for some good diving. 3 pools, and one for adults, so the kids can roam around and play while you sit and drink 🍸 margaritas. Highly recommend.
Great day with great service. We were told 500 pesos/person minimum to use the loungers and worked out great. Reasonable prices, good food and drinks. Server was perfect, not pushy but attentive to our needs. Plus happy hour 5-6pm (M-Th) with discount beers and margaritas. Enjoyed rope swing, snorkeling (bring your own or purchase), pool and just chilling with a book.

Wouldn't really recommend this beach club because of the poor service. Activities and food were fine though. It was 500 pesos per person: of that, 100 pesos are for the water activities, and 400 pesos are food/drink credit. The coconut shrimp was delicious (I think it was better with mayonnaise than the sauce given, fries were good with the sauce given though). Drinks were fine, a bit watered down. Happy hour 5-6pm, margaritas for 80 pesos. Mango smoothie was good. Water activities were okay, kayaked in their little area, laid on a roped inflatable, jumped off a rope into the water at end of pier. Didnt see much with snorkeling except a school of black and yellow striped fish near the end of the pier. The little snorkeling tube wasnt good, but the goggles were fine. Probably max around 3-4 hours before the activities, relaxing, and drinking start to get boring. The main downside for me was the service. Multiple times we went to stand at the bar, no one looked up to ask what we need, staff looking down at their cell phones for long periods, pretty much always us needing to get their attention when we needed to order. I do want to give a shout out to Alejandro who was friendly and attentive. But other than him, staff weren't particularly welcoming. Might have been partially a language barrier, but still you could look up from your phone, maybe smile, and point toward who could help us.
Our experience was disappointing from the beginning. We were haphazardly seated by a waiter who appeared unsure how to handle our larger party. Despite there being plenty of empty tables and very few customers at the time, it took over five minutes to get seated—and that only happened after we suggested pushing tables together ourselves. Service continued to fall short. We waited far too long for simple drink orders, even though the bar was literally right next to our table. The delays were blamed on wireless internet outages affecting their ordering system. However, the routing of wireless internet to the establishment’s devices is not the customer’s concern and should not be used as an excuse for slow service. We were also told these outages happen often and commonly delay kitchen orders, which points to poor infrastructure and lack of preparedness. Communication throughout the meal was poor. The waiter took far too long to inform us that our food was delayed, leaving us waiting without updates. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The nachos were soggy and soft, the signature Kin Ha burger felt like a poor attempt at recreating a Big Mac, and everything else was served barely lukewarm. Not even the children—who are typically easily pleased with chicken strips and fries—were able to enjoy the poorly prepared food. Roughly two-thirds of the meals were left uneaten. Parking was a fiasco that almost resulted in colliding with a cart full of impatient travelers ou iii iii i iiiorrii While the location itself is nice, good views can’t compensate for disorganized service, recurring operational issues, and poorly executed food. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would return to or recommend.
Came here to enjoy a nice lunch and the beach club amenities. Total waste of a day and worst experience at a restaurant I think I may ever have had. After sitting for 45 minutes and asking where our …
