My husband and I ate here for a date night. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire dinner. The wait staff were very pleasant and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Service was prompt. The food was amazing. I had the crab and bacon chowder, 7oz filet Oscar (surf & turf) and he had 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell and the larger filet with the potatoes au gratin. The steaks could be cut with a fork (even my medium well!). We highly recommend City Hall!!

I'm reading some of these reviews and I wonder if we were in the same place. I've eaten at a lot of nice places in the 6 decades I've walked this earth so, I think I know a nice place when I'm in one. I know a 5 from a 4 from a 2. This was a 5 on all marks. I'm not a reviewer who writes about every dishes nuance; there are plenty of them. We are from out of town celebrating an anniversary. I'll just say from drinks, appetizers, sides entree, and desert nothing was less than a 4. My favorite was the spicy bacon collard greens. Our Ribeye and Fillet were cooked well within our expectation of Medium/medium rare. Dessert proportions could be smaller and priced accordingly. The glass of Champagne was a nice touch for our anniversary celebration. Savannah took great care our table while looking after a 8 top. Drinks were well mixed.

This was my first visit to City Hall in Jenks. It is a very clean steakhouse. It has a dim and cozy ambiance with a classic vibe. The service was top-notch. There was an error with my order. I asked for a medium-rare steak, but it was served well done. They quickly worked to resolve the issue. They brought out another steak cooked to perfection as I originally requested. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They discounted my steak, which I felt was fair. I got the strawberry ice cream cake for dessert. It tastes like a big strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. It was so delicious. I would say 6 people could easily eat it. I highly recommend City Hall Steakhouse, and I can't wait to go back.

Fine dining has arrived in Jenks! My wife and I choose to dine at City Hall Steakhouse for our anniversary. We were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and met the general and front-of-house managers. We were escorted to our table, and our server was introduced. To begin, we ordered a few beverages and an appetizer of oysters. The oysters were tasty, but they were small. We ordered the fresh catch of the day, filet mignon, cheesy au gratin potatoes, and creamed spinach. While waiting for dinner, the restaurant played soft music, which allowed us to enjoy a conversation. We also saw a dessert being delivered to another table and were impressed with the serving size of the cake. Our food arrived, and it did not disappoint. The filet was cooked perfectly, and my wife enjoyed her fish. Both sides were delicious, and the serving was perfect for two. The chef came by the table to inquire about our dinner. He sincerely sought feedback about what we liked or didn't like. We suggested adding a carrot cake to the menu, and he was receptive. We ordered a cheesecake for dessert, and it was enormous. We ended up taking it home to savor later. Our experience was excellent at the City Hall Steakhouse, and we highly recommend them to everyone!!

This place rocks! Wife and I chose City Hall for our highly elusive date night and we were not disappointed! We started with drinks at the beautiful bar which were amazing and then got seated at our table shortly after. We started with the oysters and then the wedge salad. Our main was the ribeye with a side of Mac and Cheese. Not only were the food and drinks excellent our server was also great, very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Very happy to have this place in downtown Jenks America.

Lorenzo at the bar provided us with great service and yummy drinks. The atmosphere was classy and sophisticated. Very cozy yet stylish. Brick chicken was juicy and tender. Will happily come here again for a nice dinner!

This was my first time to eat here. The inside was well decorated and very nice. It's a romantic setting. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had an appetizer (crab cake) and salad. I also had the ribeye steak and it melted in my mouth. I definitely recommend getting one of the butters to go on the steak. I got cheesecake for dessert and it was a huge portion but very delicious. It was very expensive but worth it for a special occasion. I definitely recommend it

Good food, fun atmosphere! Espresso Martini was amazing, uses coffee from Double Shot, a local coffee place here. Staff was friendly- great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Exactly what downtown Jenks needs! Classy dining spot with excellent food. Excellent crab cake appetizer, huge salad for two, adding the truffle to the pasta main is worth it! Great steak, preferred the whipped potato side to all others!

Very good chicken, I wanted to drink the sauce but I was to be proper in public and the artichoke dip was good. The strawberry ice cream cake was absolutely massive!

I enjoyed a vodka and soda and she had a glass of wine. Both excellent. We split a Cesar and a 10oz filet with asparagus. Very good. Will be eating here again!

Had a great dinner with family and friends. Wife and kids enjoyed their pasta. My ribeye was excellent. Staff were great with the children. Great option to add to the list of premier steakhouses around Tulsa.

Went to City Hall Steakhouse and it was so great. We had a birthday dinner and I brought my little ones and I was impressed by house family friendly they were. The kids menu is a 3 course, salad or cheese plate/ entree/ ice cream. The boys loved it I had the lamb and my husband had the pork chop and both had zero leftovers. We finished with the Chocolate cake and of course it was amazing. My favorite part is we asked if they had any coffee and they serve Double Shot Coffee!! My favorite coffee shop! I was so excited to hear that. We are so glad they opened in Jenks and we will definitely be returning!

Much needed in Jenks. We had Nathan as our server and he was great. Like the overall decor. The oysters were some of the best that I have had in Tulsa. My wife and I enjoyed our steaks and sides. Will definitely return. If you go, get the bacon rib.

Made a reservation a few weeks ago for a party of 8 at City Hall in Jenks. Got a bit nervous prior to the dinner and almost cancelled when I read some of the reviews about steaks lacking flavor and the service. Ended up going anyway and very glad I did. This place was EXCELLENT and I will definitely go back! For starters I got the crab and bacon chowder which was the soup of the day and it was fantastic! Followed up with apps of artichoke dip, crab cakes and the bacon rib appetizers and they were all great! For an entree, I got the prime strip with garlic and horseradish butter. It was amazing... definitely treat yourself to topping your steak with one of their many infused butter selections! It was fire! Others at the table all enjoyed their steaks as well. For sides we got the whipped potatoes, mac and cheese, fries and asparagus... again... fantastic. It's too bad people don't take into account new restaurants might take a while to get their staff running smoothly to where there are no issues with a drink coming out wrong or something not being cooked right within the first couple of months. All I know is everything was perfect last night. Maybe ask for Camille to be your server because she did a great job. Can't wait to return!!!

We were hungry, didn't want to drive too far and needed a place to eat. Stuart...The manager met us at the door as he is always on point! We set at the bar, the food. The drinks and the service was outstanding and that carrot cake, my gosh best.I've ever had. I'm a little critical sometimes when I go in there. But when you feel like you're putting a down payment on a home, you want to make sure you get it right, and they sure did saturday night.Everything was spot on! Happy wife, happy life.We will be back.God bless youThanks again stuart and city hall

We had a wonderful dining experience at City Hall! They had only been open 3 weeks but we had wonderful service. The Caesar Salad and Wedge Salad - delicious and a must have! Everyone enjoyed their entrees - Steak Frites, Sea Bass, and Salmon. We would get all of it again. All 6 of us shared the strawberry ice cream cake and it was delicious. Cocktails and wine were wonderful. LOVE the atmosphere and the whole interior of the restaurant. It has a private room in the back with a bank vault. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent experience! Food was fabulous and very high quality. The service was very friendly and attentive and leaps and bounds better than a lot of other places in town. This will be a new staple for us. The reason for 4 starts for food is because of the missing of some details that make the flavor profiles slightly off balance. If they can fine tune this, they’ll be 5 stars - easy. For example, this was the case for a few appetizers that were too heavy on the fat with no acid. Reason for 4 stars for service is we had to ask for several things more than once and there was no traditional wine service; they just opened the bottle and poured. But we’re certainly looking past this and giving them space to improve as we return this week. Will update after a couple more visits.

Make reservations! There was plenty of seating at the bar with full service, but it isn't very relaxing. It got busy fast and got rather noisy, as well. The food was good, my husband's tenderloin was juicy and melt in your mouth. My steak frites was ok, not as good as i would have liked for 42 dollars, the sirloin was pretty chewy. The hand cut fries were very well made, they didn't get soggy or limp. The bernaise sauce was delicate and buttery, delicious. The espresso martini was very bitter, but my husband's old fashion was stellar. Overall it was rather expensive but lacked the atmosphere to make it an impressive date night, due to the crowd and noise.

our Valentine Dinner was truly an experience. A beautifully set table...My espresso martini, asparagus dip, steak frites, Cesar salad and chocolate cake were elegantly served and impeccable! love, love this restaurant....and, We Shall Return!

Wow! We have a group that ventures out all over the Tulsa and surrounding areas. City Hall is in the “100’s” of places we have tried it’s up at the top. I apologize for no picture. Our group was delayed in arriving so was starving and ate before pic. All that being said. What a phenomenal place. Very cool “historic” building. Staff was absolutely on point. Andrea was bartender when the early birds arrived. She was amazing. Ally was our server at our table. Just a table of 10 this time. She was fantastic. Never a dry water glass or drink. So on point with food. Kudos to the chef. Everyone one of us had perfectly cooked food. I happened and was fortunate to get the pork chop. Did sauce on the side. It was great as well. It’s ala cart. So we ordered a bunch of sides from asparagus to potatoes to Mac n cheese. Nothing disappointing at allll! I never want to say a place is my top but it’s definitely up there. It’s costly. But worth it. Special date. Anniversary. I’d recommend for all. They also do have happy hour. I was truly impressed. Thank you City Hall for taking care of us and giving us a great experience.

What a delightful surprise to discover such a refined, beautifully executed concept right here in Jenks. The moment you step inside, you’re struck by the incredible decor — elegant yet warm, with thoughtful details that make the space feel both upscale and welcoming. The old photographs of Jenks athletes on the walls are a particularly nice touch, grounding the restaurant in the community’s history while giving the modern space a nostalgic, local charm. As for the food — absolutely outstanding. The salmon was perfectly prepared: tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The creamed spinach was another standout — rich, silky, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite reflected real attention to craft and quality, the kind of care you expect from big-city dining, now right here in our own backyard. It’s wonderful to see a restaurant that brings such polish and passion to Main Street Jenks. This one is sure to become a local favorite.

Everything we got was delicious and our server Emily was awesome! I had their positano drink, prime strip, mac and cheese, asparagus, frites, and crab cake. Everything was exquisite and had great flavor, cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back!

Had a Great meal with friends. The bacon is a must try!!!!!! Au gratin and filet is always amazing. Oscar style filet is a little off being such a large portion of asparagus. But literally everything else from service to bill was amazing. Thanks for making our night special!!!

Fabulous service! We had the Crab Cake and bacon rib for an appetizer which was wonderful. For our entree’s we had the Lamb Shank and Beans with a wedge salad and creamed spinach - all were fabulous!! The steak frites and fries were awesome as well. The carrot cake was truly truly amazing as well. This place will be added to our list for a regular visit!!

What a fabulous new experience. As a local Tulsan this restaurant is going to the top of my list of best local restaurants for fine dining. The pork chop was fabulous. Quite tender, but a crisp out layer with a zesty, light bbq like sauce over it The other two in our party had steak filets, one with a fabulous Oscar and asparagus topping Both ordered rare and seared perfectly Professional wait staff who know the menu extensively And the ambiance of this classic restored corner bank building in old town Jenks. Classy, reserved, and comfortable. The bar area has a high end yet friendly feel to it. Highly recommend for out of town visitors, business associates, special occasions

Nice smoked old fashioned. Excellent coconut shrimp appetizers! Spicy rigatoni was really good also.

We walked in on Valentine's Day hoping to get a spot at the bar for a quick cocktail. The manager, hostesses, wait staff were gracious and just plain awesome. The cocktails and appetizers were great. The crab cake was pretty much crab claw meat only. Best crab cake I've ever eaten.

Beyond amazing great service and food quality.....OMG. I had the Tar Tar best since my Italian trip years ago and had the braised shank of lamb and white beans...I licked the bowl! Savanna was awesome pretty amazing experience. Want something that you will forget what it cost when you try a bite this is your place....definitely will be back!

We ordered the seafood tower, crab and lobster soup, and the crab cake. The crab cake was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and I travel to Maryland frequently, so that’s saying a lot. I did request bread and they brought out sourdough, but unfortunately it was pretty bland and not very memorable. The sauces served with the seafood tower also missed the mark for me. That said, everything else was fantastic and with a little more attention to the sauces and bread I would rank it 5 out of 5.

This restaurant is STUNNING! The design of the atmosphere is truly gorgeous and a very nice dining experience. My husband and I sat at the bar for a quick happy hour and just ordered the Wedge salad and a couple of appetizers. The Wedge Salad was DELICIOUS! We also ordered the Artichoke Dip and the Crab Cake. Although both were very delicious, both descriptions were off a bit. The Artichoke Dip has a large amount of spinach in it. The artichoke in the dish was very good, but the spinach was a surprise given it wasn't listed as "Spinach Artichoke Dip". The Crab Cake is not your traditional crab cake. Although we were pleased with the amount of crab in the dish for the price, it was all lump crab made into a ball, no filling or seasoning. The accompanying sauce was very good, but we would have preferred a traditional version of a crab cake. Again, both dishes were very tasty! But just surprising :) The staff was very friendly! We will definitely be going back to try some other dishes!

City Hall in Jenks offers a delightful dining experience with its great food and charming atmosphere. The ambiance is inviting, making it an excellent spot for a date night or dinner with friends. While the service was polite and friendly, it was noticeably slow at times, and there was a small hiccup when forks and plates weren’t brought out for dessert. We ordered martinis and wine at the first visit from the server, that didn’t make it to us until dinner arrived. Overall, the delicious food and cozy setting make up for the service delays. It’s worth a visit if you’re not in a rush and value good food and ambiance.

Came here to celebrate my birthday! It’s such a cute place. The staff are amazing - I ordered a filet, which was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My guy had the prime strip - it was OK. We also ordered the fries - which weren’t bad, but they weren’t good either. We also ordered a piece of carrot cake - which is four layers! It can be shared with two or three people. One a scale of 1-10, we give this place a 7.2! Definitely a place to check out for date night.

Enjoyed our first visit to City Hall and will be back. Started with seafood chowder, delicious, wedge and Caesar salads made perfect and chilled. We went with the 16 oz ribeye, grilled perfect and our two family served sides of au gratin cheese potatoes and creamed spinach were very good. The only disappointment was that we ordered the strawberry ice cream cake for dessert only to hear they had run out. That’s a pet peeve of mine when restaurants run out of listed menu items. I will say this place is better than Hemingway’s.

We recently visited with friends and found the food and service to be very good and it should be considering the price. However, we wanted some gluten free options and we had to ask. There is nothing on the menu that details GF, vegan, or even details general ingredients or style of preparation (baked, fried, breaded, sauce, accompaniments, etc.). This was no surprise because the McNellie’s Group doesn’t do this in any of their places. However, after several questions and trips to the kitchen, our server brought a GF tip card to the table that they had forgotten about. This is provided to the staff but evidently not to customers. Go figure. The other issue that will make us think twice before returning is the noise level. It’s loud. Not much sound absorption qualities in the main dining room. To make matters worse, they pipe in background that competes with the customers’ ever escalating conversations. This is a common problem in many restaurants. The inability to have an enjoyable conversation defeats the point of dining with friends. But I wish them success.

We’ve eaten here a few times now, and I feel like I should start by saying the interior of the restaurant is extremely well done. The millwork and paneling is beautiful, and the bar area was similar to what you’d see at a nice Dallas restaurant. The low lit and buzzy atmosphere is a great aesthetic choice, so I’ve really got to give it to them on all those points! We also usually have a later reservation so it isn’t totally packed. While our first experience soon after they opened was not so top notch, we’ve been back since and it seems they’ve worked out most of the kinks. The steaks seemed to be of a really nice quality, and the chicken dish is fantastic! I will note the spicy rigatoni has bits of a fresh red pepper that made those bites nearly unbearable to eat because they were so spicy. The presentation of the strawberry ice cream cake gets an A+. Very on par once again with Dallas steakhouses. Overall, the general vibe of the restaurant was great, and the menu has a ton of great options.

let me start this off with the food was amazing! we had an amazing meal, we enjoyed the atmosphere and our server was great! the only thing that we noticed is everything was EXTREMELY overpriced for what it was( some of it). I enjoy an al la carte menu, but some of the items on it I could not justify almost spending $15 on. as well, the carrot cake is amazing but I WISH they had smaller portions, or a half size. spending $30 on a slice of cake was not my favorite part, we could not finish it, I enjoy it for the wow factor or if we had more guest, but I hate that, that is the only size! overall it was nice, but the pricing on some of the menu items really turned us away. this would be a good spot for a date night, anniversary or an occasion, the inside truly is beautifu

j

Over priced. Slow for food to come out. Sea bass dry and my husband didn’t eat it-they comped it 1/2 price 😏. Prime rib chewy and too rare. It was our anniversary but it didn’t feel special. No one asked us if we were celebrating anything. Super good servers. No complaints there! Tipped her 25%. Disappointing for an upscale restaurant. They do use everything local which I love. We live in jenks and always support local businesses . Do better!!

Went to City Hall tonight to celebrate our anniversary. When I made the reservation (through Open Table) it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I said “anniversary.” There were four of us. Three ordered steaks and I ordered the fresh catch. Two ordered their steaks medium and one medium rare. The two medium steaks were pretty rare (purple in the center). The medium rare steak was spot on. Both medium steaks were sent back and honestly were brought back to the table with not much improvement. The manager even came over and asked if the steaks were corrected to our satisfaction We said “close enough” because we didn’t really want to send them back a second time. The manager didn’t say anything else. Just walked away. The flavor of the steaks was good but honestly at those prices you would expect the chef to know how to cook a steak to the proper temperature. The sides were good but nothing to brag about. It was disappointing that nothing was offered to compensate for the mis-cook on the steaks and no mention of our anniversary. Not sure we will go back. Too many other good steak house options to take another chance at these prices.

I ordered the 16 ounce Rib Eye medium. I cut into it and it was medium but when I took the first bite the underside was burnt to a crisp. Not a crust but a bitter char. 1/2 the steak was too bad to eat. When I told my waitress she just looked and went on. The creamy mashed potato’s were very runny. Very disappointed

Came here for my fiancé’s birthday and made sure both the host and our server knew we were celebrating. The server greeted him with “Happy Birthday” when we sat down, but that was it. No dessert menu, no candle, nothing at the end of the meal—just, “Do you want anything boxed up?” and then the bill. Drinks started the disappointment. I ordered a martini and it came in a shot glass (yes, you read that right—a shot glass!!). What martini drinker wants that at a white tablecloth restaurant? Horrible presentation. It came with one olive that was supposed to be stuffed with blue cheese, but it was completely hollow. I even checked the glass to see if it fell in—nope, nothing. Sent it back and ordered a Postino instead, which was actually delicious. Appetizers started strong with bone marrow—rich and flavorful. But the entrées were all over the place. We had whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, white beans, a filet, and a ribeye. The potatoes were okay, but the dried breadcrumbs on top got soggy and ruined the texture. The creamed spinach was the worst I’ve ever had—funky taste, wouldn’t recommend. The white beans were the surprising highlight of the whole night. Sadly, everything except the spinach came out cold, including both steaks. Ambiance was just okay. Lighting was too bright for dinner, and the low-volume pop music didn’t fit the vibe of a steakhouse. Overall, the Postino cocktail, bone marrow, and white beans were great, but the service and execution were nowhere near what I’d expect from a nice steakhouse—especially on a special occasion and at this price point.

Booked & attended a reservation here with the immediate family, my favorite people to dine with. I was looking for a convenient location that offered a nice atmosphere and acceptable food + service for the occasion. With this being our 5th or 6th visit, we knew the experience could be inconsistent, but anticipated it would check the boxes for a Wednesday night. Unfortunately it was the least favorite experience we’ve had yet. Service was okay but doesn’t equate to the overall cost. For the price, I would have expected the table to be tidied up more post-appetizers. This effort was acceptable during previous visits, but this visit any light crumbs were left. It’s a small effort to ‘scrape the cloth’ and tidy up and meets the level provided by those I assume you view as your area competitors (ex. Mahogany’s & RC at River Spirit). All in all, not a big deal but inconsistent and somewhat surprising. The appetizers themselves were okay, a bit pricey for a slice of bacon, but it tasted good. The crab cake was okay… too much sauce for our tastes, but met avg standards. We ordered 1/2 dz oysters and they brought the full dz but we accepted them and the addtl cost w/o commenting… no real harm, and they were all eaten. We ordered drinks with appetizers, and I always find their Old Fashioned to be one of the better ones around Bixby and Jenks areas (RR as well).. The entree portion is really where things went south. The steak frites my wife ordered was room temperature at best so we politely brought it to their attention - these things can happen. When they returned with the same plate, the food and plate was appropriately hot, but the steak had obviously now been overcooked. In addition, the mac & cheese was cold (not room temperature), but unfortunately we hadn’t tried it at the same time as the steak frites so we didn’t discover it until after they left to correct the steak frites. We politely brought it to the server’s attention, again stating that these things can happen. The manager came over twice - (1) to apologize for the inconvenience and explained she’d proactively had them remake our m & c before it came out the first time, but I’m not sure how this addressed how the dish ultimately came out cold. Left the explanation alone and moved on. (2) She came back over after the steak frites came back out, and I explained that, while it was a good temp, the med rare my wife ordered was now obviously med well. At this point she began offering explanations (that were coming off to me as excuses) around difficulties with timing…? I honestly didn’t understand or accept the explanations and suggested again that these things can happen and she should just end the conversation. At this point we just preferred to move along and enjoy the time left chatting with family. The manager did remove the cost of the steak frites and also brought a McNellies gift card, despite my repeated statements that we didn’t need any comps or gift cards. I was clear that I only wanted to provide detailed feedback in an effort to improve in the future. It was a bad experience, accept the feedback and let the night move on, but please don’t attempt to justify the bad experience. The rest of the meal I’d call acceptable but not worth the price to be honest. I’m coming in as someone who legitimately wants to see them succeed. I want more options and want to see local areas thrive. The burger is always a hit with us but for overall quality and experience, it just seems to consistently fail our expectations. I’ve had steak here 3 times and each time I’ve told myself that next time I’d drive the extra 15 mins to a competitor, and while I 100% appreciate the manager’s gestures and effort, I should have listened to myself last night.

We were so excited to go to City Hall for New Year’s Eve. We had heard that they were having some issues with the food, but were confident that because of the holiday they had probably worked those things out. After being seated we were offered complementary champagne, granite they were complementary, but they were warm and void of any bubbles. We ordered appetizers, which were delicious,(artichoke dip and the shrimp cocktail). Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed with the rest of the meal. I wish I had taken pictures of our food when they were delivered, the entrées came first the steaks were so cold the seasoned butter on top could not melt. The spicy pasta was so spicy it could hardly be eaten, and then the salads was served minutes later. At that time they remembered that we had a side dish of au gratin potatoes. Nothing was as we had hoped. We truly want City Hall to work these issues out for Jenks, Oklahoma, the atmosphere is beautiful and location is really cool. We will try again with high hopes!

Underwhelming ~ have heard so many great things about the restaurant, maybe it was just an off night and we missed the greatness! Our steak and side was served to the table (cold) - we then had to ask the waitress if our salad and drinks were still on the way after our main had arrived. The service was definitely missing - food flavors were good, I think it would have been a different experience if the service had flowed better and the food was hot

The atmosphere and service were pleasant. The food was forgettable. The prices were not forgettable. Would gladly go back for a “reason” but wouldn’t choose this restaurant; there are too many amazing options in Tulsa.

After waiting at the hostess stand for 5 minutes we were finally approached and asked “has anyone spoke to you?” We said no and asked for a table. We were sat and our waitress came by and told us about the fish special and soup of the day. Sounded WONDERFUL and I was excited to have them. She poured my wife and I a small shot of water and said she’d be right back. Aaaaand that was it. She went to another table that already had been served, then proceeded to go to a wine fridge and fumble around rearranging wine bottles for over 20 minutes. She Never came back and we were hungry so we had to leave. It was our date night and we’re looking forward to dinner so we went somewhere else to eat! After seeing their prices we assumed service would be great. We were wrong. We will not be back. I’m sure food was good but we will never know.

Don’t waste your money. Caesar salad was gritty, steak overcooked and sides were cold. 6:30 reservations so zero excuses for slow service and subpar food.
