Look, I have always used papa John's. Never had any issues with this location either. Apparently some did, but in the 11 years I have been in ny.... I know that the last 8 or 9 i have ordered from this location, Never had any issues. Food ALWAYS tastes great. Quickly delivered as expected. They typically, Never call before coming out though, i always request a call or txt that they are headed my way, so i can be by the door and have dog put up, but they have never called unless cant find the house. Must be a issue with the drivers not having easy access to "instructions " I choose not to hold it against the drivers, they are busy, and if its in tiny print on a box in a dark car, would you see it? Probably not

The pizza is always good here and the people are nice too. We never have to wait long for our order, even when they're busy. Too bad they don't deliver to Chenango Bridge.

I had a great experience. I ordered online, and I like that I'm able to track my order (it was done in around 15 minutes). The staff was friendly, and the new stuffed crust was great (much better than the old one)!

Papa Johns: They have a huge delivery area. You can get their great tasting food just about anywhere within 7 miles from the Oakdale Mall. Friendly service, great staff, excellent deals on Pizza *if you ask. My favorite menu item were the garlic sticks and garlic knots. The pies are all handmade from live dough so you will get a 'Pizza', not a frozen miracle !! Ingredients are fresh, prepped daily... I love Papa Johns for it's highly commendable staff and good service. They get slammed from time to time so keep in mind that they tender a huge area trying to bring a great product to the masses! Highly recommended. This is a true Pizza place so they don't have subs and other specialty foods. THAT is what makes them a great choice for pizza..

I feel bad for those that had a bad experience... I was starving after a long drive, so I took a chance and I'm glad I did!!.…. I ordered a small veggie pizza. They told me it would be about thirty minutes and they were there in fifteen! I don't know if it was just because I couldn't stop eating it! I ate the whole thing!! It was DELICIOUS!! Every time I get pizza from this location it is absolutely perfect! I get the large two topping for $12 and it is always cooked to perfection. From the moment you walk in to the store you are treated like an absolute king! The gentleman who always helps me out is the guy with gauges, big muscles and a beard. This place is really clean in general but especially for the area it’s a bit unexpected. Store was pretty busy with online orders but they still took the time to make small talk with me as a person waiting in the store for the food. It’s becoming more rare to get customer service like that so it was very much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Small location seemingly suited for takeout as there are not many tables. The food is usually good and made to order. I have had a few experiences of getting a pizza/papadias where the green peppers tasted like they were turning. I have also received the wrong amount of breadsticks. These instances are rare however and I continue to give them my business.

I love this Papa John's the staff has always been great and the food is always fresh and excellent. The pizza holds up very well for a couple of days in the fridge for leftovers. The prices are great and you can usually get yourself a deal by ordering online. Perfect if you are a college student on a budget. - Just get a large pizza and you can have a few meals.

We go pretty frequently rarely ever any problems and when there are they take care of it. Friendly people and tasty food.

Overall it’s pretty good. Haven’t had much issue with pizzas or it’s workers. Takes a while to get the order ready but it looked like they didn’t have many workers.

To be honest, Papa Johns out here IN JOHNSON CITY NY is one of the best pizzas places I’ve had, but lately the service HAVE been terrible food been coming in jacked up, food been coming in late, food not showing up. I don’t know what’s been going on but Papa Johns I need YALL to get on the ball, And do better because people should not be paying this much money for you to be fumbled the ball. If people are spending this much money on service, you should be having great absolutely phenomenal service. But I can’ say that when you do make a complaint to the store that you ordered from they do everything that they can to fix the problem. But I do understand that mistakes do happen, but you have to try your best to make sure those mistakes doesn’t happen at all.

Located on Harry L Drive, this business is better suited for delivery or pickup. They maintain very late hours (check site for those) The selection of foods are pretty decent and pricing is fair. Wait time, if decided to order in is a bit long (25+ min) A nice alternative from other big chain pizzerias.

the pizzas i get from here are generally great but what ruins it for me is EVERY time (being 4 times) that i ordered a buffalo chicken pizza i get some disgusting pizza with onions and ham on it with the chicken. that is gross, and then they have the gall to charge me 23$?!?! excuse me!?!? that is overpriced garbage atleast make me the pizza i want.

Went to pick up a pizza and no one even acknowledged my existence for the first 10 minutes. I don't think my food was ready for pickup but they wouldn't know unless the at least asked my name. When the actual front counter guy came in he was nice but still 10 minutes later. Either way the lady in the back was tossing the dough and it looked really cool so I was entertained 😅. The pizza we ordered was a chicken bacon ranch largest size. I could count on one hand how many pieces of chicken and bacon I saw. Still wasn't terrible. Just not anything I'd be going back for any time soon.

Definitely a frustrating ordering experience as it took 3 phone calls to order a pizza .. I do not expect a foreign call center with language barriers to order my dinner from a local franchise .. please hire competent local workers to answer your phones .. the two guys working the shop were pleasant and on point even under a more than obvious understaffed situation no surprise for franchise .. the food was as expected or better than expected.. not impressed by the obvious 3rd party ordering service which fell completely short and almost lost me all together..

Pizza was OK as is normal for a chain, but they did the cardinal sin of a pizza place in my book, the pizza wasn't cut hardly at all. This was amplified by the fact that we have no plates to eat off of because they were out. (Staying in a hotel so no plates.)

Pizza flavor is always okay, BUT THE DELIVERY IS REDICULOUSLY SLOW! Order around 11:50 and its 12:33 and THEY ARE STILL NOT HERE. Should cancel the f***ing order😤👿

Ordered the extra large pizza,definitely was not xl,only had half the toppings.The one worker was outside smoking when I got there, he then came in and did not wash his hands and proceeded to make a pizza.The other guy stood there making boxes as I and one other customer waited to be waited on.

If I could give no stars I would. The last 3 or 4 times I ordered delivery no one ever came . When I tried to call no one answered the phone . I called customer service and emailed them and never got a response. And the last couple times I did actually get the pizza it was the worst I've ever had and made me so sick to my stomach. If I can avoid it I will never order from them again

The amount of times they haven't given me my ranch is unforgivable. And the pizza is very hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's inedible. They don't put light sauce when you order it. Sometimes they use old dough that's dried out. They used to do a good job, but not anymore. They need to get their act together.

You would assume Better Ingredients would result in better pizza 🍕 😉. But you know what they say about "Assuming". There were 3 of us watching the basketball games on TV and ordered a Grand Papa and some Philly steak folded pocket pizza thingy. We asked for ranch dressing.... Apparently they put the ranch dressing ON THE PIZZA. 👎 WHY? If you look at my pics you can see we didn't eat half the pizza, it showed up coagulated and cold. The whole pizza slid to one side of the box and was super sloppy. I will say the pepperoni was really good, as in, the piece of pepperoni I pried off the cold cheese was really tasty. As for this Philly steak folded pizza pocket thing, it couldn't have been made correctly, something so disgusting would never end up on a menu if it tasted that way all the time. 🤢🤮 The Pepsi ZERO I ordered was really good though. But I don't think Papa John's makes that, because if they did they'd probably put ranch dressing in it. But hey it only cost us $45 bucks so I guess no big deal right, especially since we threw away more than half of our order. Maybe there having a bad day, if you choose to order from here I hope you have a better experience than we did. Good luck

I used to have no issues ordering here but this time the pizza was pretty bad. I asked for extra sauce on both of my pizzas and not only was there not extra sauce, there were parts of the pizza with no sauce at all. I also had extra cheese on both and there wasn't much at all. Lots of dough. Was not very good at all. Has been going down hill the past few times and I don't order nearly as much as I used to because of it.

Ordered pizza and jalapeno poppers to go via the app. I show up and first thing I walk in door, floor is sticky. Okay whatever, I'm only doing take-out. There's a guy stickering boxes and 3 others on other side of room, plus a driver standing there waiting to deliver. Not one of them acknowledged me for over ,4 minutes. Finally someone does, he hands me one of my boxes and tells me I'm all set. I told him I had two things and his reply "oh". My poppers took additional 7-8 minutes. The place seemed steady with orders but no one working had any sense of urgency. Atleast this visit didn't smell of pot, like my previous visits

No one answered 3 phone calls after orders was 30 plus minutes past approximate 41 min delivery time, paladins was burnt on the edges and cold, and pizza was cold.

Ordered a pizza and was told 30min. 45min later I went outside to to look and they did it noncontact. I did not ask for noncontact so it was cool! Papa John's sucks lately.

Their customer service is horrible. Their phone service is nonexistent and they never gave me my order I bought. Not even able to get a refund because their mobile order service sucks and they don't accept calls. Don't ever order from here!!

I've uploaded pictures of their "15" piece chicken poppers. I just received them and called to make a complaint. I spoke to a manager "Maria" who said there is nothing that she can do, they get them sent in already made like that. I told her that half of them are dime size or less, she doesn't believe me. Insisting that I'm wrong and didn't realize what I was paying for. I've gotten them before but never this bad. Hopefully I can speak to a real manager in the daytime. I'm afraid to dip them for fear of losing them in the sauce forever..

Pizza taste and quality has gone down

Very disappointed by food & service. Ordered veggie works pizza & six cheeses Tuscan pizza. Both were not done properly. All toppings were only in the middle as well. They knew that I'm sitting there with family nobody care to gave me my order..they just left it on back of the counter.

Yeah they clearly done know how to get orders right, I ordered a large pizza half cheese and half buffalo chicken and they made the whole pizza hot buffalo chicken and onions like how do mess that up!! Maybe have somebody that’s American that answer the phone and not a dam Chinese!!!

I'm waiting 45 mins for my pizza for two guys to show up in my driveway stare at my roommate say nothing about dropping off my pizza they light a joint and sitting in my driveway smoking for a good 15 minutes and leave by the time we figured out they dropped off the pizza it was cold

I must say that this was the worst Papa Johns pizza I have ever had. I threw most of it in the garbage. The cheese tasted like plastic. The sauce and toppings didn’t taste good either. The toppings were put under the cheese instead of on top like all the other locations. When I picked up a slice to eat everything fell off. It was almost 30 minutes before it was ready even though my confirmation said 15. There was no one making pizza when I arrived so they couldn’t have been busy. It was hard to find the store since it was night and the sign was off. I told the kid who cashed me out, but he didn’t turn It on. Lastly, there are 7 huge spider webs with huge spiders hanging over your head outside from the soffit. Disgusting. Sorry, everyone there was friendly but I will never go there again. In fact, I’m done with Papa JOHNS for good now. Yuk.

Was sent pizzas that were basically raw dough. They stuck to the inside of the box because of how undercooked they were and it took me an hour and a half to receive the pizza, never got any confirmation of my order from them and had to stand there spam calling for 20 minutes before I finally got ahold of someone to ask if the pizza was even on its way. By the time I got it I was starving and then was disappointed immediately because the pizza was raw. When I picked up a slice it went limp and all the toppings immediately fell off. I'm done ordering from this place.

Worst delivery experience of my life. I waited over an hour and a half for my delivery before I decided to call and find out what happened to my food. I was told the driver called and didn't get an answer so he just went back to the restaurant. I was told he returned back to the restaurant 20 minutes before I called! I never got a phone call or email or anything. They were just not going to deliver my food. I confirmed my phone number and delivery address with person I talked to on the phone too. No one even came up my driveway! No phone call to say the driver couldn't find my house. No phone call or email to say my order was returned to the restaurant or canceled?!? Very bad experience with Pizza that was delivered to my home. When I put the box on my table and opened it the Pizza was separated and several pieces were curled up and twisted as if someone had done this with their hand. I called the Store and the Manager was very rude but offered a new pizza free. I asked if i could send him a pic of the Pizza condition and he said do you want a new pizza or not. Next day my Girlfriend was having stomach issues. Stay away from this location!!!

For starters the pizza was horribly made basically had to rip up the pizza to get the slices I had asked for extra mushrooms basically seemed like I got more peperoni which I had asked for normal basically for almost 20 dollars the pizza and wings they could have done so much better

Work night shift and decided to order a pizza. On the app it said store was open for delivery orders until 1:30AM. I placed an order at 1:19 and got a confirmation email at 1:20 followed by an email stating my order had been cancelled. If you don’t want to stay open until 1:30 don’t put those hours on the app.

I usually enjoy the pizza, but I sat and waited while they cooked my order. They never used gloves, and I watched both workers switch between the register and cooking the pizzas without washing their hands. Gross. At least wear clean gloves. I won't be back.

Pizza was delivered late & under cooked! Nothing like biting into raw dough. I was offered a credit for a later date. When I called the number I am connected to someone who then needs to connect me to the local store...whatever....if they knew how to do that. I get disconnected, call again and finally am transfered to the store and connected to someone who doesn't know how to handle a phone order...4th person finally is able to take my order. I called the first time after 56 minutes of waiting and they told me that the driver was already on his way. They went on to say that they're a bit busy than usual, so I understood. I called again after an 1h passed and I they basically said the same thing. But now it's pass 1h:40 minutes!!! Come onnn, there's a limit to everyone's patience. Please be also mindful that I'm also less than a mile away from this store. Oh wait...I'm getting a call from the driver! Finally got it. Aww the driver was really nice, now I don't want to post this review😥! Nope, I'm still upset about how long it took!!! Okay so I wish there was a zero star but since this driver was nice, I guess that he deserves the forced 1 star!

Workers barely acknowledge you let alone greet you. Typically ignore your presence. Sometimes they give your food away to the wrong person or "forget" to make it entirely. Not recommended unless you got a good hour to spare.

I went to Papa John’s today and had a bad experience. I always order the same thing, but this time the guy messed up my sauces. I kindly asked him to change them for the ones I actually ordered, and instead of handling it politely, he threw the sauces into the box in a very rude way. I found that really disrespectful. I usually come here often, and this has never happened before. I hope they can pay more attention to customer service and treat people with more respect.

We got the two 'medium' pizzas 'special' at PJ's - We were amazed at how puny these pizzas were and how stingy the toppings were. Also PJ's customer support link (pj.pizza/feedback) was a dead link. Edit: reducing 2 start review as attempts to reach out to store management were ignored.

I ordered delivery on 8/19/25, but never received my order. No one cares to do anything about this inconvenience. I placed a delivery order today 8/21/25 for 2 Philly Cheesesteak Papadias which were both supposed to come with garlic dipping sauce, but I only received 1 instead of 2. Also, the papadias were hardly filled (mostly just folded over dough). No one seems to care to do anything to resolve these issues. Customer service is lacking by this merchant as well as with the delivery service (DoorDash). It seems my business is unappreciated by both of these companies and that I will be better off spending my money with companies who care enough to remedy issues as soon as they come up.
